Alternatively, the common foot may be on the cap and the displaced positions may be on the ring.In a non-open state, at least a portion of the arms may be frangibly connected to the ring and / or cap, for example, by frangible bridges. When the closure is opened, the connection is broken, which may be helpful for tamper evidence. In some embodiments, the cap may be removed from the container mouth and may be docked to the container while remaining attached to the ring. The container mouth may be provided with a screw thread and either or both of the arms may be positioned under a screw thread for docking the cap. See, for example, FIGS. 7 and 8.In some embodiments, the cap must be rotated for docking with the container. The arms can be deformed plastically and / or elastically. See, for example, FIG. 8.In some embodiments, the arms have approximately the same length. The V-shaped connection can thus be generally symmetrical. The arms may be arcuate.Another aspect provides a tamperproof closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising a cap and a retaining ring, the cap and the ring being connected by a link, the link comprising a first arm non-frangibly connected to the cap at one end and a second arm non-frangibly connected to the ring.An example of a closure of this type is shown in Figures 9 to 12.Together, the arms may allow axial separation of the cap from the ring and allow the cap to be removed from the container mouth while remaining attached to the ring. The arms may be arcuate. In an unopened state, the first and second arms may seat concentrically. For example, the arm connected to the ring may seat concentrically in the arm connected to the cap when the cap is screwed on.The connecting arms can be connected to an angle piece (for example a V-shaped angle piece). The connection can allow the cap to be lifted from the connection by plastic deformation and / or elastic deformation of the angle piece and / or the arms of the ring.In another aspect there is provided a closure comprising a cap having a lateral skirt provided with means for engaging a container, wherein it is possible for the cap to be placed on an opening of the container in one position to close the container and to be released from the opening in another position to allow access to the interior of the container; a ring engaged on the container to define the opening and held axially thereon; and comprising two arms in the form of a circular arc, each of which is connected to the cap by a film hinge and a tongue is positioned between the hinges, which tongue abuts the container during tilting of the cap and exerts a pulling force on the arms, wherein the diameter of the ring is larger than the diameter of the cap skirt, wherein the hinges are inclined from the ring towards the cap.An example of a closure of this type is shown in Fig. 15.The hinges may be generally square, trapezoidal or rectangular. In a further aspect there is provided a closure comprising a cap having a lateral skirt provided with means for engaging a container, wherein it is possible that the cap is placed in one position on an opening of the container to close the container and in another position is released from the opening to allow access to the interior of the container; a ring engaged on the container to define the opening and held axially thereon; and two arms in the form of a circular arc, each of which is connected to the cap and to the ring by a film hinge and a hinged means, the arms being connected to the ring at locations spaced at an angle to the film hinges; wherein the hinged means allows pivoting of the arms between a folded position in which the arms are placed close to the ring and in which the cap is axially close to the ring and a folded position in which the arms are pivoted with respect to the film hinge and with respect to the ring and allow the cap to be brought into a position axially away from the ring, said position being sufficient to allow the means for engaging the cap with the container to be released and the cap to be tilted outwards with respect to the container to bring the cap into the position in which it is released from the opening of the container. The cap may comprise a bearing means which, when it is tilted, bears against the container and exerts a pulling force on the arms, the pulling force being minimal in the position of engagement of the cap on the opening of the container and the position of complete disengagement of the cap from the opening, but being maximal in the intermediate position of the cap between these two positions. The bearing means may comprise a tongue projecting axially from the skirt of the cap close to the film hinge, on the opening of the container and the position of complete disengagement of the cap from the opening, but at the maximum in the intermediate position of the cap between these two positions. The aforementioned means, together with the possibility of elastic expansion offered by the arms, thus allows the creation of a shoulder in the middle of the tilting of the cap, so that the device is of the "hinged-lid" type. This hinged-lid characteristic makes it possible to keep the cap perfectly in its tilted position, counteracting the elastic recovery of the synthetic material from which the device is formed; the user therefore does not have to retain the cap in the tilted position during the molding of the product contained in the container. Moreover, the handling of the device is appealing due to this flip-top property. The means may consist of a tongue projecting axially from the skirt of the cap close to the film hinge. The edge of the tongue which bears against the container is advantageously rounded so as to promote the rolling of this tongue along the wall of the container. The means for allowing sufficient deformation of the device for allowing pivoting of the arms between the folded and the unfolded positions may consist of one or more of the following means:a material forming the closing device and selected from materials, in particular polyethylene or polypropylene, which offer the possibility of elastic expansion;a space between said ring and said container for allowing, by deformation of said ring, relative displacement in the circumferential direction of the ends of said arms connected to said ring;at least one slot or notch provided at the level of the film hinge for allowing the relative displacement in the circumferential direction of the ends of the arms connected to this film hinge;Arms which, in the folded position, are contained in the thickness dimension of the ring and are separated by recesses provided in this thickness dimension, so that the ring has, perpendicular to the arms, a height which is less than the height it has at the other points on its periphery, this lower height promoting its deformation during movement of the arms.Preferably, the ring and / or at least one arm is connected to the cap and / or to the film hinge by breakable bridges before the first opening of the container, which are to be broken at the time of this first opening. These bridges not only provide evidence that the container has not been manipulated, but also allow perfect structural similarity to be provided to the device.Advantageously, the means for engaging the cap with the container are of the screw thread type and the ring is freely rotatably mounted on the container.Unscrewing of the cap brings about the aforementioned movement of the arms and, if appropriate, breaking of the bridges, presenting evidence that the container has not been manipulated.According to an embodiment of the invention, the cap comprises two integral hinges provided on either side of a tongue, as mentioned above, one arm being connected to each of these integral hinges. These two integral hinges, which are positioned on either side of the tongue, allow a stable movement of the arms and a stable tilting of the cap with respect to the container. In another aspect, there is provided a threaded closure for a container neck, the closure comprising a cap and a tamperproof band ring, wherein the lower end of the cap is connected to the ring by a band hinge and the ring is connected to the lower part of the cap by frangible bridges. An example of a closure of this type is shown in Figures 18 to 24.Another aspect provides a tamperproof closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising a cap and a tamperproof retaining ring, the cap and the ring being connected by a link, the link being an arc connected to the ring and connected to the cap, the link being positioned radially outside the cap and the ring.An example of a closure of this type is shown in Figs. 25-27.The connection can be connected to the ring at both of its ends. The tether may be connected to the cap at a point that is approximately midway between the tether ends. The connection can be connected to the cap at both of its ends. The tether may be connected to the ring at a point that is approximately midway between the tether ends.A separation of the cap and the ring can be achieved by plastic and / or elastic deformation of the connection. The connection can be generally U-shaped.In another aspect, there is provided a linked closure comprising a cap and a retaining ring, the cap and ring being connected by a hinge portion and two flexible connectors. An example of a closure of this type is shown in Fig. 16 and / or Fig. 17.The closure may include both horizontal and vertical cuts / gaps.In some aspects and embodiments, the diameter of the ring is greater than the diameter of the cap.In some aspects and embodiments, separation of the cap and the ring is achieved by plastic and / or elastic deformation. In some aspects and embodiments, the container mouth is provided with a screw thread. In some aspects and embodiments, the container mouth includes a bayonet-type formation for engaging a corresponding formation on a closure. See, for example, FIG. 13.In some aspects and embodiments, the retaining ring is a tamperproof band.In some aspects and embodiments, the cap may include a top plate and a depending sidewall. In some aspects and embodiments, the closure may be a hinged lid closure. In some aspects and embodiments, the closure may be a hinged-lid sport cap.The present invention also provides a closure as described herein in combination with a container. The container may have a short neck finish. Some aspects and embodiments relate to and / or are combined with a short neck finish. For the purposes of this specification, a "short" neck finish may be defined as everything with a ratio of 0.35 or less, calculated as the finish height (measured between the bottom of a transfer bead and the top of the finish in terms of the "D" dimension according to nomenclature used in the beverage industry in technical drawings of bottle necks) divided by the diameter of the thread tip in terms of the "T" dimension according to nomenclature used in the beverage industry in technical drawings of bottle necks.Further aspects and embodiments are listed in the following numbered paragraphs. 1. tamper evidence closure for a container mouth comprising a cap and a retaining ring disposed under the cap for retaining the closure on the container, the cap being separable from the ring, the cap and the ring being connected by a pair of arms, the arms being non-frangibly connected to a common foot at one end, the other end of one of the arms being non-frangibly connected at a clockwise circumferential position of the foot and the other end of the other arm being non-frangibly connected at a counter-clockwise circumferential position of the foot, the arms permitting axial separation of the cap from the ring and assuming a generally V-shaped configuration therein, and the cap remaining attached to the ring. 2. closure according to paragraph I, wherein the common foot is on the ring and the displaced circumferential positions are on the cap. 3. closure according to paragraph 1 or paragraph 2, wherein in an unopened state at least a part of the arms are connected to the ring and / or the cap in a breakable manner. 4. closure according to any preceding paragraph, wherein the cap can be removed from the container mouth and can be docked to the container. 5. according to paragraph 4, wherein the container mouth is provided with a screw thread and either or both of the arms can be positioned under a screw thread for docking the cap. 6.According to paragraph 4 or paragraph 5, wherein the cap has to be rotated for docking to the container. 7. the closure of any preceding paragraph wherein the arms are of about the same length. 8. the closure of any preceding paragraph, wherein the arms are arcuate. 9. tamperproof closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising a cap and a retaining ring, the cap and the ring being connected by a connection, the connection comprising a first arm which is not frangibly connected to the cap at one end and a second arm which is not frangibly connected to the ring. 10. closure according to paragraph 9, wherein the arms together permit axial separation of the cap from the ring and permit the cap to be removed from the container mouth while remaining attached to the ring. 11 The closure of claim 9 or claim 10, wherein the arms are arcuate. 12 The closure according to any one of the shoulders 9 to II, wherein in an unopened state the first and second arms are seated concentrically. 13.The closure of claim 12, wherein the arm connected to the ring is concentrically seated in the arm connected to the cap when the cap is threaded. 14. closure according to one of the shoulders 9 to 13, wherein the attachment arms are connected to an angle piece. 15. closure according to paragraph 14, wherein the connection allows the cap to be lifted from the connection by plastic deformation and / or elastic deformation of the elbow and / or of the arms of the ring. 16.A closure comprising a cap, the lateral skirt of which is provided with means for engaging a container, it being possible for the cap to be placed in one position on an opening of the container to close the container and in another position to be released from the opening to allow access to the interior of the container; It is important that it should be understood that embodiments may be provided in many alternative forms and should not be construed as limited to the examples provided herein.Accordingly, although embodiments are variously modified and may take various alternative forms, specific embodiments thereof are shown in the drawings and described in more detail below as examples. No limitation to the particular forms disclosed is intended. Rather, it is intended to cover all modifications, equivalents and alternatives falling within the scope of the appended claims. Elements of the exemplary embodiments are identified throughout the drawings and the detailed description with the same reference numerals.Unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein are intended to be interpreted as common in the art. Furthermore, it is to be understood that terms in general language use should also be interpreted as usual in the relevant art and not in an idealized or excessively formal sense unless expressly so defined herein. In the following description, all directional terms such as upper, lower, radial and axial are used in conjunction with the drawings and should not be construed as limiting the invention.Referring first to Figures 1 through 6, there is shown a closure 10 formed in accordance with the present invention. The closure 10 comprises a cup-shaped cap 15 comprising an upper plate 20 and a depending side plate 25 and a retaining ring / band 30 at the free end / lower part of the skirt.Generally, a threaded fastener is provided in which the lower shell end remains connected to two fixed sectors positioned in the upper end of the tamperproof band ring. The tamperproof band ring comprising two flexible arms which are fastened at their interface to the tamperproof band ring. This allows the closure to be lifted vertically along the helical thread during unscrewing to gain access to the beverage while remaining attached to the bottle. In the ring (in this embodiment) a V-shaped connection 35 is formed. The link 35 includes two arcuate arms 37, 39 extending in opposite directions from a central foot portion 40 on the ring. At the other end 36, 38, each of the arms is non-frangibly connected to the skirt. This means that when the closure is unscrewed, the arms deform in a general V-shape, as shown in Figures 3, 5 and 6.Further, after removing the cap from the container mouth, the length of the arms is such that the cap can be rotated; thereby, the arms and one of the arms can be positioned under a screw thread on the container neck, as shown in Figures 4 and 7A and as shown in the sequence of Figures 8A-8C.Referring now to Figures 9-12, a "dual-attach" version of a closure 110 formed in accordance with the present invention is shown. In general, a threaded closure is provided in which a double connection is connected on both sides of the circumferential region of the lower shell end. This double connection is also connected on both sides of the circumferential region of the tamperproof band ring. This allows the closure to be lifted vertically along the helical thread during unscrewing to gain access to the beverage while remaining attached to the bottle. Moreover, by folding away the closure on the neck, a parking position under the neck supporting edge of the bottle neck can be achieved. The closure 110 comprises a cup-shaped cap 115 comprising an upper plate 120 and a depending side plate 125 and a retaining ring / band 130 at the free end / lower part of the skirt. In this embodiment, a link 150 is in the form of a first arm 155 and a second arm 160. The arms are both arcuate. In the unopened / closed position, the first arm 155 sits within the ring and the second arm 160 sits radially outward of the first arm. The arms are connected at an elbow 165.The first arm 155 is non-frangibly connected to the ring and the arm 160 is non-frangibly connected to the cap. This means that when the cap is unscrewed, the joint is deformed, as shown in Figures 10 and 12B. The arms are pulled apart at the elbow. After removing the cap from the container mouth, the length of the tether is such that the cap can be docked under the container neck support ring / transport ring 170 - see FIGS. 11 and 12C.FIG. 13 shows a closure 210 formed according to a further aspect. The closure has a linked tamperproof band; an articulated tamperproof band with two connecting arms. The strap has a hinged annular flap with a cut-out in a hinge area and shaped bridges. This closure allows reliable degassing of carbonated packages before opening. In this embodiment, a bayonet mechanism with a cam formation may be used to attach the closure to the neck.FIG. 14 shows a linked closure 381. The closure is constructed with a butterfly hinge and two flexible connectors. The closure 381 includes an annular tamper-evident ring retaining portion 383, two arms 384a, 384b, two living hinges 385a, 385b, and an annular cap retaining portion 386, the entire assembly being integrally formed from a synthetic material such as polyethylene. Each arm 384 a, 384 bhas the shape of a circular arc and is connected on one side to the part 186 at the level of one of the film hinges 385 a, 385 band on the other side to the ring part 383. Along the upper and lower edges of the arms are frangible bridges 387.Each arm 384 a, 384 bis connected to the ring part 383 at a location spaced at an angle to the film hinges 385 a, 385 bto which it is connected, wherein the angle formed by this location and this film hinge is in the range of 45 to 50 degrees in the example shown. The film hinges 385a, 385b consist of walls of reduced thickness trapezoidal / triangular and connected to the wall of the cap part 386 on the one hand and to respective arms 384a, 384b on the other hand. The flexibility which permits the cap to be tilted is provided in part by this hinge shape and by the placement in the cap portion 386.Cap portion 386 also includes a tongue 391 that depends axially between the two sloped film hinges 385a, 385b. The hinges 385 a, 385 bare symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the tongue 391.The closure cap 396 includes a skirt 396a which is provided with a screw thread which mates with that of the container neck. This tongue 381 is of such a length that it abuts the container 382 during the tilting of the cap 396 and exerts a tensile force on the arms 384 a, 384 bvia this bearing. This pulling force is not present in the position of engagement of the cap 396 on the opening of the container and in the position of complete disengagement of this cap 396 from this opening, but is maximum in the intermediate position of the cap 396 between these two positions, the tongue 381 then being bent.In practice, the closure is placed on the container 382 by simple screwing (or the device may be added after closure). During the first unscrewing of the cap, this cap part 186 gradually leaves its position axially close to the ring 383 until it reaches the position axially remote from this ring 383, the screw threads of the container and cap 396 being disengaged at this position. The frangible bridges 387 rupture during this movement, and the arms 384a, 384b pivot from their folded position to their deployed position as shown. The cap 396 can be tilted by the film hinges 385 a, 385 band by rolling and deforming the tongue 381 on the neck. The tray can be removed and re-applied. The tongue, arms and hinge of the device effectively allow the cap 396 to be of the "flip-top" type.Figure 15 shows a linked closure 481 comprising an annular tamper-evident ring retaining portion 483, two arms 484a, 484b, two living hinges 485a, 485b and an annular cap 486, the entire assembly being integrally formed from a synthetic material such as polyethylene. Each arm 484a, 484b is in the form of a circular arc and is connected on one side to the part 186 at the level of one of the integral hinges 485a, 485b and on the other side to the annular part 483. Along the upper and lower edges of the arms are frangible bridges 487.Each arm 484a, 484b is connected to the ring member 483 at a location spaced at an angle from the film hinges 485a, 485b to which it is connected, the angle formed by this location and this film hinge being in the range of 45 to 50 degrees in the example shown. The film hinges 485a, 485b consist of walls of reduced thickness trapezoidal / triangular and connected to the wall of the cap part 186 on the one hand and to respective arms 484a, 484b on the other hand. Since the ring has a larger diameter than the closure, the hinges are oblique. The flexibility that allows the cap to be tilted is provided in part by this hinge shape and by the placement in the cap 486.Cap 486 also includes a tongue 491 which depends axially between the two inclined film hinges 485a, 485b. The hinges 485a, 485b are symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the tongue 491.Cap 496 includes a skirt 496a which is provided with a screw thread that mates with that of the container neck. This tongue 481 is of such a length that it abuts the container 482 during tilting of the cap 496 and exerts a pulling force on the arms 484a, 484b via this bearing. This pulling force is not present in the position of engagement of the cap 496 on the opening of the container and the position of complete disengagement of this cap 496 from this opening, but is maximum in the intermediate position of the cap 496 between these two positions, the tongue 481 then being bent.In practice, cap 496 is placed on container 482 by simply screwing it on. During the first unscrewing of the cap, this cap 486 gradually leaves its position axially close to the ring 483 until it reaches the position axially remote from this ring 483, the screw threads of the container and cap 496 being disengaged at this position. The frangible bridges 487 rupture during this movement and the arms 484a, 484b pivot from their folded position to their deployed position as shown. The cap 496 can be tilted by the film hinges 485a, 485b and by rolling and deforming the tongue 481 on the neck. The tray can be removed and re-applied. The tongue, arms and hinge of the device effectively allow the cap 496 to be of the "flip-top" type.FIGS. 16 and 17 - see descriptions of the closures 510, 610 in the figures.Referring to Figures 18-20, a closure 710 formed in accordance with an alternative embodiment is provided.A threaded closure 710 and a corresponding beverage container neck 702 are shown. The lower end of the shell 703 is connected to a hinge 704. The band hinge 704 is also connected to the tamperproof band ring 705 located beneath it. Tamperproof band ring 705 is connected to the lower end of the shell by frangible bridges 706.Upon initial opening, the frangible bridges 706 are broken and the closure is lifted off the threaded helix of the container neck while remaining attached to the tamper evident band ring by virtue of the band hinge. The required length (L) of the "hinge" depends on the vertical displacement required for the closure shell to be sufficiently disengaged to allow access to the beverage. In FIGS. 21 and 22, a closure 810 formed according to a further embodiment is shown. A threaded closure ( 1) and a corresponding beverage container neck ( 2) are shown. The closure (1) is connected at the lower end of the shell (3) with a band hinge (4). The band hinge (4) is also connected to the originality band ring (5) located underneath. The tamperproof band ring (5) is connected to the lower end of the shell by breakable bridges (6).On first opening, the breakable bridges (6) are broken and the closure is lifted off the threaded helix of the container neck, while remaining attached to the tamperproof band ring thanks to the band hinge. The required length (L) of the "hinge" depends on the vertical displacement required for the closure shell to be sufficiently disengaged to allow access to the beverage.FIGS. 23 and 24 illustrate two different examples of methods that could be used to make the closure 810.FIGS. 25-27 illustrate a closure 910 that includes a cap 901 and a tamperproof retaining ring 902, the cap and ring being connected by a link 903, the link being an arc connected to the ring and connected to the cap, the link being positioned radially outward of the cap and ring. The connection is connected to the ring at both of its ends. The tether is connected to the cap at a point that is approximately midway between the tether ends.A separation of the cap and the ring is achieved by plastic and / or elastic deformation of the connection. The linkage is generally U-shaped.Although exemplary embodiments of the invention have been disclosed in detail herein with reference to the accompanying drawings, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the precise embodiments shown and that various changes and modifications may be made therein by one skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.Figure 7A & 7B:For example, it is possible to achieve a stable position after opening. This is achieved in this embodiment by blocking one of the fastening straps under the neck closure. To achieve this position, the consumer must, after opening, rotate the closure so that it is placed parallel to the neck finish. This positions one of the connecting straps under the neck thread segments and locks the closure in position.FIG. 15 :This embodiment relates to a closure for a shorter neck closure. A feature of this embodiment is the position of the flexible region constructed between the two thread starts. In the case of a standard cap which should remain attached to the bottle after opening. The existing concept of using joints between the cap 1 and the base / tamperproof band 2 and a vertical hinge portion is well known. The oblique position of the hinge and the stretching of these connecting pieces take place when the cap is guided over the neck closure during the opening. This movement could be easier by rotating the cap about a rigid and protruding finger on the cap cap, which serves as a support on the neck closure for stability during opening.Packaging costs require a shorter neck and the well known prior art construction is not compatible with the shorter neck.Concept Improvement:Creation of a flexible area 3, square, trapezoidal or rectangular, which could bend when opened, characterized by the position of this flexible area:Oblique, following an angle α generated by the difference between the diameter of the cap and the diameter of the tamperproof band. With this configuration, there is sufficient length to ensure the bending.Positioned appropriately after the beginning of the thread or between two beginnings of the thread or in a region where the thread is interrupted.positioned as high as possible in the cap.positioned higher than the position of the thread start.FIG. 16 :Aim: That the cap is attached to the bottle after opening. The O-band remaining on the neck of the bottle is made of a plastic with a discontinuous cutout (discontinuous slit), thereby leaving some frangible elements (bridges) between the O-band and the cap.Proposed solution: Production of a "hinge region" + two flexible connectors by two slots arranged one above the othercreating a connection between the cap and the tamperproof band at the time of slitting. The slitting operation of the O-band takes place with two blades arranged one above the other:A first blade slits to create frangible elements (bridges) and also a wider sector, creating a connector that serves as a hinge area at the opening of the cap.A second blade slits at a height of x to create a flexible connector that can allow deformation to assist in opening the closure. The height x defines the flexibility of the connectors that allow the connection between the O-band and the lid.FIG. 17 :Aim: That the cap is attached to the bottle after opening. The O-band remaining on the neck of the bottle is made of a plastic with a discontinuous cutout (discontinuous slit), thereby leaving some frangible elements (bridges) between the O-band and the cap.Proposed solution: Creation of a "hinge area" + two flexible joints by a process of superimposed & vertical slittingcreating a connection between the cap and the tamperproof band at the time of slitting. The slitting operation of the O-band takes place with two blades arranged one above the other:A first blade slits to create frangible elements (bridges) and also a wider sector, creating a connector that serves as a hinge area at the opening of the cap.A second blade slits at a height of x to create a flexible connector that can allow deformation to assist in opening the closure.Vertical slitting is added to create a flexible area that opens the stability of the cap once. The W dimension defines the thickness of the joints. The X dimension defines the thickness of the hinge portion. The Y dimension defines the flexibility of the connectors that allow the connection between the O-band and the lid.The Z dimension defines the flexibility of the connectors when opening the lid, which allows the stability of the one at 109°.Figure 21 & Figure 22A threaded closure (I) and a corresponding beverage container neck (2). The closure (I) is connected at its lower shell end (3) to a "band hinge" (4). The "band hinge" (4) is also connected to the underlying tamperproof band ring (5) of the lower shell end (3). The tamperproof band ring (5) being connected to the lower shell end by means of breakable bridges (6).Information:On first opening, the breakable bridges are broken and the closure is lifted along the helical thread of the container neck, while remaining attached to the tamperproof band ring thanks to the "band hinge". The length (L) of the "hinge" varies depending on the vertical displacement required for the closure shell to be sufficiently disengaged to allow access to the beverage.
