Abstract

Aqueous suspension (1) of at least one organic UV filter with a particle size DN30 of 100 nm or more obtainable by a process for producing the aqueous suspension (1) of at least one organic UV filter with a particle size DN30 of 100 nm or more, wherein the process comprises the step of milling a suspension (2) comprising the at least one organic UV filter in a mixture of water and a hydrophobic additive in a milling device at a temperature of 35 to 90 °C, wherein the hydrophobic additive is a cosmetic oil and wherein the suspension (2) further comprises a dispersant, wherein the dispersant is selected from polyglycerol alkyl esters and alkyl polyglucosides.
