Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a protective device for the shin and foot, in particular for martial arts.
[0002] Protective devices of the type mentioned above are known and are used particularly in kickboxing. These known protective devices comprise a shin guard equipped with a fastening strap for securing the lower leg. Furthermore, a foot guard is provided, which is equipped with fastening straps for securing the foot. These fastening straps are usually designed as Velcro straps.
[0003] The invention is based on the object of proposing a protective device which can be used in particular for military close combat training.
[0004] To achieve this object, a protective device with the features of claim 1 is proposed. The protective device according to the invention comprises: - a shin guard which can be releasably secured to the lower leg by means of at least one fastening strap; - a foot protection part which can be releasably secured to the foot or a shoe by means of at least one fastening strap; wherein - at least one longitudinal strap is provided on the shin guard, which runs along an inner side of the foot guard and can be fastened to a shoe or boot.
[0005] The protective device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that, during military close combat training outdoors, where a shoe or boot is worn, it can be secured to the shoe or boot using the longitudinal strap and the transverse strap. Indoors, the foot protection part can be used without the longitudinal strap according to the invention, since no shoe or boot is worn. Thus, the protective device according to the invention can be flexibly adapted to the respective application.
[0006] Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0007] Advantageously, the longitudinal strap can be threaded through the shoe's lacing and secured to the top of the foot protection part. This ensures a secure, detachable attachment of the foot part to the shoe or boot.
[0008] Advantageously, the at least one longitudinal strap has a Velcro fastener.
[0009] A fastening means for the longitudinal strap is advantageously provided on the upper side of the foot protection part.
[0010] Advantageously, the foot protection part is provided with at least one cross strap, with which the foot protection part can be secured to the foot or shoe. The cross strap is guided around the underside of the foot or shoe.
[0011] At least one cross strap may have a Velcro fastener.
[0012] In an advantageous embodiment, eyelets are provided on the foot protection part through which the at least one longitudinal strap and the at least one transverse strap are guided.
[0013] A sealing layer, particularly made of neoprene, can be provided at the transition area between the shin guard and the foot guard. This layer rests on the upper side of the foot guard. This seals the transition area between the shin guard and the foot guard.
[0014] Advantageously, spaced fastening straps are provided at a transition area between the shin guard and the foot guard. A fastening strap can be provided in the lower area of the shin guard and in the upper area of the foot guard. This ensures secure fixation of the protective device in the transition area between the shin guard and the foot guard.
[0015] The shin guard and foot guard are advantageously equipped with elastic padding. This padding provides good cushioning.
[0016] The invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment, which is schematically illustrated in the figures. Herein: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a protective device according to the invention Fig. 2 a rear view of the protective device according to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 a front view of the protective device according to Fig. 1.
[0017] The Fig. The protective device 10 shown in Figures 1 to 3 is used particularly in military close combat training. The protective device 10 comprises a shin guard 12 and a foot guard 14, which are designed separately from each other.
[0018] The shin part 12 has two longitudinally spaced fastening straps 16a, 16b. The fastening straps 16a, 16b are guided around the lower leg and secure the shin protection part 12 to the shin.
[0019] Longitudinally spaced eyelets 28a, 28b are provided on the foot protection part 14, through which fastening straps 18a, 18b are passed. The fastening straps 18a, 18b are guided around the bottom of the foot or a shoe or boot (not shown).
[0020] A longitudinal strap 24 is sewn centrally to the lower end of the shin part 12, running in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal strap 24 runs along the inside of the foot part 14 and is guided through an eyelet 28c to the top of the foot part 14. The end portion of the longitudinal strap 24 can be attached to a fastener 26 on the top of the foot protection part 14.
[0021] Fig. Figure 2 shows a rear view of the protective device 10. However, the fastening straps 18a, 18b are not shown. From this view, it can be seen that the longitudinal strap runs along the inside of the foot protection part 14.
[0022] To secure the foot protection part 14 to a shoe or boot not shown, the longitudinal strap 24 can be passed through the lacing of the shoe or boot.
[0023] At a transition area 20 between the shin guard part 12 and the foot guard part 14, additional fastening straps 30 and 32 are provided. Fig. 2 upper fastening straps 30 are attached to the shin part 12. The Fig. 2 lower fastening straps 32 are attached to the foot protection part 14.
[0024] The fastening straps 18a, 18b, 30 and 32 as well as the longitudinal strap 24 are each provided with a hook and loop fastener to create a detachable connection.
[0025] Fig. Figure 3 shows a front view of the protective device 10. At the transition area 20, the shin guard 12 has a sealing layer 22, which is made in particular of neoprene. The sealing layer 22 seals the gap between the shin guard 12 and the foot guard 14. The sealing layer 22 rests on the upper side of the foot guard 14.
[0026] The shin guard 12 and the foot guard 14 have elastic padding to absorb the impacts that occur.
[0027] The protective device 10 is designed for use both outdoors and indoors and can be adapted to the respective requirements.
[0028] Outdoors, the foot protection part 14 of the protective device 10 can be attached to the lacing of a shoe or boot. For this purpose, the longitudinal strap 24 is passed through the lacing and secured to the top of the foot part using the fastening means 26.
[0029] Furthermore, the fastening straps 18a, 18b are guided around the bottom of the shoe or boot and secured.
[0030] The fastening straps 16a, 16b and 30 and 32 serve to further fix the foot part and the shin part 12. These also have Velcro fasteners.
[0031] Indoors, shoes or boots are not typically used. Thus, the longitudinal strap 24 is attached to the shoe or boot lacing on the inside of the foot part via the eyelet 28c to the fastening means 26 provided on the top of the foot part and is secured. The foot protection part 14 is secured to the foot by means of the fastening straps 18a, 18b.
