Abstract
Description
State of the art
[0001] Double-blade mowers are common. In conventional double-blade mowers, the upper blade is mounted movably above a bar of the double-blade mower, and a lower blade is mounted below the bar. This creates raised areas on the upper side of the bar that can impede the transport of cut stalks. Object and advantages of the invention
[0002] The object of the present invention is to provide an improved double-blade mower, in particular to provide a double-blade mower in which the transport of cut grass is improved.
[0003] The problem is solved by the independent claims. The dependent claims mention exemplary embodiments of the invention.
[0004] Currently, mowing embankments and ditches presents various problems depending on the equipment used. Firstly, damage to the embankments and ditches occurs when mowing with a relatively heavy mower, which compacts the subsoil of the embankments and ditches to such an extent that the plant root system is destroyed, causing cracks in the embankments and ditches and causing them to collapse. Secondly, mowing ditches and embankments from the side, for example, is detrimental, as the mown grass is left to rot. This causes the grass to form fertilizer for future plants, which in turn is detrimental to subsequent mowing operations.
[0005] In this case, a double-blade mower is proposed, which on the one hand makes mowing of moors, dams and ditches easier and on the other hand enables the lateral removal of the stalks.
[0006] The invention relates to a double-blade mower having an upper blade, a lower blade, an upper blade guide arm, a lower blade guide arm, a blade rail and a machine connection, wherein the machine connection is designed to arrange the double-blade mower on a machine, wherein the blade rail has bearing elements, wherein the upper blade is movably mounted on the blade rail by means of the upper blade guide arm through bearings of the blade rail, wherein the lower blade is movably mounted on the blade rail by means of the lower blade guide arm through bearings of the blade rail, wherein the blade rail has a bar with an upper side, wherein the bearings are provided on an underside of the bar, wherein the underside is spaced from the upper side of the blade rail, wherein the upper side of the blade rail is flat, so that transverse transport of cut stalks is possible without disruption.
[0007] This allows for the cut stalks to be removed sideways, which in turn avoids having to drive over the area to be mowed and also allows for the collection of the cut stalks. In particular, this allows for the cut stalks to be removed sideways without touching the ground and having to be transported further by the ground.
[0008] For example, the upper knife guide arm is L-shaped or double-L-shaped. It is conceivable that the upper knife guide arm engages the upper knife with a first end on an upper side of the upper knife. It is conceivable that an underside of the upper knife is movably mounted on an upper side of the lower knife. It is conceivable that a second end of the upper knife guide arm and a second end of the lower knife guide arm are aligned in a plane. For example, the upper knife guide arm and the lower knife guide arm are mounted with their respective second ends on the bearing.
[0009] It is also suggested that the top of the knife rail be flat. This makes removal easier.
[0010] It is also proposed that the bearings of the knife rail be attached to the bar, with the bar having recesses on the upper side in which fastening means for securing the bearings are arranged, so that the upper side of the bar is flat. This makes it possible to create a knife rail that has no upwardly protruding projections on the upper side, e.g., screw heads, rivets, or nuts.
[0011] It is also proposed that the double-blade mower have a belt rake, wherein the belt rake is arranged above the blade bar, wherein the belt rake is provided in such a way that transport tines of the belt rake can be guided along the longitudinal extent of the blade bar on the upper side of the bar, thus enabling transverse transport of cut stalks along the longitudinal extent of the blade bar. The belt rake enables lateral removal of the cut stalks. The belt rake enables removal of the cut stalks directly after cutting by the upper and lower blades, so that the cut stalks do not come to rest on the mown ground behind the blades.
[0012] For example, the belt rake is movably connected to the knife rail by means of a folding mechanism.
[0013] It is further proposed that the double-blade mower have a sliding shoe in which the bearings are arranged, the sliding shoe having a bottom surface that slides over the area to be mowed during operation of the double-blade mower. For example, the sliding shoe has a level or flat bottom surface. This prevents snagging with stalks or plants in the area to be mowed.
[0014] It is also proposed to include a sliding plate, which fits flush with the top of the blade bar, so that the top of the blade bar and the top of the bar form a flat surface. This enlarges the flat surface, facilitating the removal of the cut stalks.
[0015] It is also proposed that the upper blade and the lower blade have a blade drive pin at one end, by means of which the upper blade and the lower blade are movable relative to each other. For example, the blade rail extends in a longitudinal direction from one end of the blade rail to another end of the blade rail. For example, the upper blade and the lower blade are movable along the longitudinal direction.
[0016] It is also proposed that a drive be provided that is connected to the knife drive pin of the upper knife and the lower knife, with the drive moving the upper knife and the lower knife via the knife drive pins. For example, the drive is arranged at one end of the knife rail.
[0017] A working machine is also proposed which has a double-blade mower according to one of the previously mentioned embodiments.
[0018] Several embodiments are explained in more detail with reference to the following drawings, giving further details and advantages.
