Abstract
Description
Noise protection walls and other structures, such as recesses, walls or boundaries, including open spaces with unfavourable alignment, are suitable for receiving PV modules, provided they meet the static requirements for durability. The mounting of PV modules on the vertical noise protection walls has the following disadvantages:Optimum south alignment and angle of incidence are only possible to a limited extent. The usable areas are thus significantly reduced.Blending effect.Shading by Planting.Greatly reduced power consumption with high module requirements and thus insufficient efficiency. In order to avoid this impairment and the reduction in efficiency, the Y construction is used in our solution. That is, the module area is mounted above the LSW as shown in the attached sketches. Glare effects and shadowing are avoided. The length of the LSW can be used circumferentially because the entire module surface is irradiated independently of the alignment and the angular position. This produces an optimum yield in relation to the modulus surface. With this construction, the disadvantages are completely avoided in comparison with the vertical mounting on the LSW.A further advantage is the inclination of the module surface of 10 to 20 degrees, which generates a reflection of the sound waves towards the base surface on the road side and thus acts to absorb and on the other hand reduces the noise due to the refraction of the sound wave. The projection of the PV module surface can be 0.5 to 3 meters according to the static requirement.
Claims
Y-PV construction system is mounted above noise protection walls or other structures such as walls, recesses or open spaces which are suitable for this purpose in a Y construction, as is schematically illustrated on the attached sketches.Y-PV construction system according to Claim 1, characterized in thatthe mounting of the projecting PV module surfaces takes place with suitable connecting elements above the noise protection wall and not on the vertical LSW itself.Y-PV construction system according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that a gap of 10 to 30 cm remains open as a wind passage between the lower edge of the module surface and the upper edge of the LSW in order to meet the static requirements.Y-PV construction system according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that an increase in weight of the projecting carriers or a wind-deflecting spoiler is applied to the underside of the module surface in order to improve the stability if required.
