Description

[0001] A utility model has been filed for a bucket for separating silicone and smoothing agent. This involves a bucket-in-a-bucket system in which the second bucket (also called the insert) has a perforated bottom to separate the silicone from the smoothing agent. The insert bucket also features a holder for the various necessary scraping aids, as well as a brush for applying the smoothing agent.

[0002] The outer bucket has a lid to prevent the liquid inside (e.g. release agent or dishwashing liquid) from spilling out. The bucket is filled to about one fifth with the said liquid. Inside the outer bucket there is a second bucket (insert bucket) which has holes in the bottom so that the liquid also gets into the insert bucket. The insert bucket contains the brushes and scraper aids for silicone work in a separate holder. The silicone is applied as usual and any waste that arises during removal is scraped off with the help of the scraper aid on the bucket so that the silicone waste falls into the insert bucket and also into the liquid. Once the silicone work is finished, the silicone waste can be easily separated from the smoothing agent by removing the insert bucket and the silicone waste it contains and disposing of it properly. The smoothing agent doesn't need to be thrown away, as it's contained in the outer bucket. This insert makes it easy to separate the silicone and smoothing agent. The bucket insert has a fixed holder for brushes and a second insert for scrapers, which can be removed if required. This way, the brush, smoothing agent, scraper, and silicone waste are all combined in one bucket, making it easy to handle and transport.
