Abstract

Wing carousel for the circular movement of figures on a raceway (3) connected to the impeller (9) by cords or chains (5), characterized by that an impeller (9) with blades (8) is carried by the impeller axle (7) in a borehole of the column (11) by a bearing shell (12) and held centered by a guide disc (13) at the upper end of the column (4), The movement of the impeller (9) with the blades (8) generated by the rising heat from candles or lanterns is transmitted synchronously to the raceway (3) by the suspension cords or chains (5). Base plate (1), raceway base (2), column (4), bearing shell (12) for the vane axis and guide disc (13) are static elements.

Description

[0001] Pyramids are well-known products of Erzgebirge folk art.

[0002] Its function is based on the fact that rising heat generates a rotating movement of the unit consisting of the impeller, pyramid column and pyramid plate.

[0003] In the case of the vane carousel, however, only the vane wheel (9) moves with the vanes (8) and a race (3) suspended from it by cords (5), which is free of material on the inside.

[0004] All other components such as Base plate (1) with raceway base (2) Column (4) and Heat generator are stationary.

[0005] A suitably large base plate (1) serves to accommodate the heat generators and to fix the raceway base (2) and the carousel column (4) with a drill hole (11) using a fixing element (e.g. screw) (10)

[0006] The impeller (9) with the blades (8) centrally accommodates the impeller axis (7) and on its periphery the attachment of the suspension cords (5).

[0007] The carousel column (4) has a drill hole (11) at its upper end.

[0008] At the lower end of the borehole (11) there is a bearing shell (12) and at the upper end there is a guide disc (13) for the impeller axle (7).

[0009] The running ring (3) is attached to the suspension cords (5) floating approximately 2-3mm above the base plate (1).

[0010] The race base (2) prevents excessive wobble of the race (3).

[0011] The race ring (3) is used to hold seasonal figures and can be fitted with wooden dowels to allow them to be interchanged.

[0012] The impeller (9) with the blades (8), the impeller axle (7) and the race (3) suspended from the impeller (9) are the moving parts and run synchronously. Claims

[1] Wing carousel for the circular movement of figures on a raceway (3) connected to the impeller (9) by cords or chains (5), characterized by that an impeller (9) with blades (8) is carried by the impeller axle (7) in a borehole of the column (11) by a bearing shell (12) and held centered by a guide disc (13) at the upper end of the column (4), The movement of the impeller (9) with the blades (8) generated by the rising heat from candles or lanterns is transmitted synchronously to the raceway (3) by the suspension cords or chains (5). Base plate (1), raceway base (2), column (4), bearing shell (12) for the vane axis and guide disc (13) are static elements. [2] Wing carousel according to claim 1. characterized bythat the base plate (1), raceway base (2) and column (4) can also be individual parts, but are then statically and firmly connected to one another by a fastening element (10). [3] Wing carousel according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that only the combination of impeller (9) with blades (8), suspension cords or chains (5) connected to the race (3) carried by the impeller axle (6) are moving parts. [4] Wing carousel according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the race base (2) is at least 4-5 mm high to prevent the race (3) from wobbling. [5] Wing carousel according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the race (3) centered by the race base (2) runs 2-3mm above the base plate (1). [6] Impeller carousel according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the impeller (3) can be equipped with dowels on the surface for changing seasonal figures.
