Description

Technical area

[0001] The invention relates to a power transmission structure for electric winch which is less susceptible to failure and does not have problems of meshing inaccuracy and gear breakage described in the prior art, in particular to a power transmission structure for electric winch which has clear switching positions and higher fault tolerance. State of the art

[0002] Electric winches are commonly used in elevators or tow trucks to move people, objects, etc. vertically or horizontally. However, when an instant stop is required during operation, existing technology provides an instant stop mechanism. The conventional stop mechanism uses a gear mechanism. Power is transmitted through the engagement of the gears. When the gears disengage, operation stops.

[0003] There are two other types of stopping mechanisms: electrical stopping (due to a power failure) or mechanical stopping (gears disengaged). The above-mentioned stopping mechanisms can stop the electric winch instantly.

[0004] However, when using the above-mentioned stopping mechanisms, there are the following problems and deficiencies that need to be improved: 1. When using an electric stop mechanism (due to a power failure), there is the problem that the electronic module may malfunction due to moisture after prolonged use. And if damaged by external forces, a short circuit may easily occur, causing the electric winch to malfunction. 2. When using a mechanical stop mechanism (gears disengaged), there is a certain probability that the gears will mesh inaccurately when the emergency stop push button is reset after being pressed. This means that the gears will not be positioned correctly, resulting in the teeth jamming and being unable to separate. This may even lead to tooth breakage. Object of the invention

[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a power transmission structure for electric winch which is less susceptible to failures and does not have the problems of meshing inaccuracy and gear breakage described in the prior art, in particular a power transmission structure for electric winch which has clear switching positions and higher fault tolerance.

[0006] This object is achieved by the power transmission structure for an electric winch, which comprises a winch group connected to a power transmission group. The power transmission group is connected to a coupling device. The coupling device has a positioning rod having a first support portion and a second support portion located at a different height than the first support portion, wherein a displacement portion is provided between the first support portion and the second support portion. A limiting element surrounds the positioning rod and has at least one limiting portion. A transmission element is movable within the limiting portion and is displaced between the first support portion, the displacement portion, and the second support portion when the positioning rod is moved back and forth.A guide element surrounds the limiting element and has at least one guide section for engagement of the transmission element, wherein the guide element is connected to the power transmission assembly. A drive device is connected to the power transmission assembly.

[0007] When an emergency occurs and it is necessary to stop the operation of the winch assembly, the user can push or slide the positioning rod, so that the transmission element is displaced from the original position on the first support section by the displacement part to the position on the second support section. That is, the transmission element is completely retracted from the original state in which part of it protrudes from the limiting section and engages with the guide section, resulting in the transmission element being separated from the guide section. The guide section loses the power transmission of the transmission element and can no longer drive the power transmission assembly, so the winch assembly stops. If the winch assembly needs to return to its original operating state, the user can extend the positioning rod, so that the transmission element is moved from its original position on the second support section to the position of the first support section by the displacement section. That is, the transmission element is transformed from the original state in which it is fully retracted into the limiting section to the state in which it partially protrudes from the limiting section and engages with the guide section. The guide section takes over the power transmission of the transmission element and can drive the power transmission assembly, allowing the winch assembly to resume operation.

[0008] In the prior art, the use of an electric stop mechanism (due to power failure) poses the problem that the electronic module may malfunction due to moisture after prolonged use. Furthermore, after damage by external force, a short circuit may easily occur, resulting in the electric winch not functioning normally. When using a mechanical stop mechanism (gears disengaged), there is a certain probability that the gear engagement may be inaccurate when the emergency stop push button is reset after being pressed. That is, the gears may not be positioned correctly, resulting in the teeth jamming and being unable to separate. It may even lead to the teeth breaking. These problems are solved by the invention. Short description of the drawings Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 2 is an exploded view of the preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 3 is an exploded view of the coupling device of the preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of the coupling device of the preferred embodiment of the invention (1), Fig. 4A a further illustration of the coupling device according to Fig. 4 of the preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of the coupling device of the preferred embodiment of the invention (2), Fig. 5A a further representation according to Fig. 5 of the preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 6 is a perspective view of another preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 7 is an exploded view of the further preferred embodiment of the invention, Fig. 8 an exploded view of the coupling device of the further preferred embodiment of the invention. Ways to implement the invention

[0009] Fig. 1 to 5A show a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the invention to a further view according to Fig. 5. From the figures it is clearly evident that the present invention comprises: a winch group 1 having a drive element 11 for winding the steel cable and a worm gear 12 connected to the drive element 11 for power transmission; a power transmission group 2 connected to the winch group 1, wherein the power transmission group 2 is a belt transmission group or a gear transmission group and in this embodiment is a belt transmission group, and; a coupling device 3 connected to the power transmission group 2 and comprising: a positioning rod 31 having a first support portion 311 and a second support portion 313 located at a different height than the first support portion 311, a displacement portion 312 being provided between the first support portion 311 and the second support portion 313, and a pressure member 32 being arranged at one end of the positioning rod 31; a limiting element 33 which surrounds the positioning rod 31 and has at least one limiting portion 331; a transmission member 34 movable within the restriction portion 331 and displaced between the first support portion 311, the displacement portion 312, and the second support portion 313 when the positioning rod 31 is reciprocated; a guide element 35 which surrounds the limiting element 33 and has at least one guide section 351 for the engagement of the transmission element 34, wherein the guide element 35 is connected to the power transmission group 2, and a drive device 4 connected to the power transmission group 2, wherein the output shaft of the drive device 4 is connected to the limiting element 33.

[0010] The displacement section 312 is an inclined surface.

[0011] The limiting section 331 is a through-hole. In this embodiment, three through-holes are provided. The transmission element 34 is a ball. The guide section 351 is a recess.

[0012] The drive device 4 is a motor.

[0013] When the winch group 1 is in the operating state, the drive device 4 transmits the power to the limiting element 33 via the output shaft. The transmission element 34 is located on the first support section 311, with one part of the transmission element 34 protruding from the limiting section 331 and the other part still located within the limiting section 331. The part of the transmission element 34 protruding from the limiting section 331 engages the guide section 351 of the guide element 35. Therefore, when the output shaft of the drive device 4 rotates, the limiting element 33 is driven to rotate, i.e., the limiting section 331 rotates the transmission element 34.As the transmission element 34 is rotated by the limiting portion 331, a portion of the transmission element 34 presses against the inner wall of the guide portion 351, causing the guide element 35 to rotate synchronously and drive the power transmission group 2. Therefore, the power from the power transmission group 2 is transmitted to the worm gear 12, causing the drive element 11 to rotate and moving the steel cable.

[0014] When a situation arises where it is necessary to stop the operation of the winch assembly 1, the user can apply a pushing force to the pushing member 32 to move the positioning rod 31 inward, so that the transmission member 34 is displaced from the original position on the first support portion 311 to the position of the second support portion 313 by the displacement part 312. That is, the transmission member 34 is completely retracted into the restriction portion 331 from the original state in which a part of it protrudes from the restriction portion 331 and engages with the guide portion 351, resulting in the transmission member 34 being separated from the guide portion 351. The guide portion 351 loses the power transmission of the transmission member 34 and can no longer drive the power transmission assembly 2, so that the winch assembly 1 stops. However, if the winch group 1 should return to its original operating state, the positioning rod 31 can be pulled out by the pressure element 32, so that the transmission element 34 is displaced from its original position on the second support section 313 by the displacement section 312 to the position of the first support section 311. That is, the transmission element 34 is converted from the original state in which it is fully retracted into the limiting section 331 to the state in which it partially protrudes from the limiting section 331 and engages the guide section 351. The guide section 351 takes over the power transmission of the transmission element 34 and can drive the power transmission group 2, so that the winch group 1 can perform its operation again.

[0015] Fig.6 to 8 show a perspective view of another preferred embodiment of the invention and an exploded view of the coupling device. The difference between the above embodiments is that the coupling device 3 of this embodiment is changed from the original position close to the drive device 4 to the position close to the winch group 1, and the worm gear 12 of the winch group 1 is connected to the limiting member 33. In other words, in this embodiment, the coupling device 3 (including the positioning rod 31, the limiting member 33, the transmission member 34, and the guide member 35) can be installed as long as it is located on the transmission path of the power transmission group 2. Therefore, the improvement of the power transmission structure of the electric winch of the present invention compared with the conventional technology is as follows: 1. Due to the purely mechanical design and simple structural design of the coupling device 3, the problem of failure due to moisture does not occur in the invention. And if damaged by external forces, there is no short circuit problem, so the winch group 1 can function normally. 2. The transmission element 34 can move up and down within the limiting section 331 due to the height difference between the first support section 311, the second support section 313, and the displacement section 312 of the positioning rod 31. This allows the user to decide whether to engage or disengage the guide section 351 as needed, thus controlling the operation of the winch assembly 1. Overall, the invention has a simple structure and high durability. 3. The user can easily operate the clutch device 3 through the pressure element 32 to start or stop the power transmission.
