Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a holding means for attaching an object to an acoustic panel.

[0002] Acoustic panels in various designs are known from the prior art. These acoustic panels, which can be installed, for example, as wall cladding on an interior wall of a building, are primarily intended to improve room acoustics, but also serve decorative purposes.

[0003] It is often desirable to be able to attach additional objects, such as a lighting device, to an acoustic panel in order to expand the functionality of the acoustic panel.

[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide a holding means for attaching an object to an acoustic panel, which can be easily and intuitively mounted on the acoustic panel and also enables a secure hold of an object attached to the acoustic panel.

[0005] The solution to this problem is provided by a holding means for attaching an object to an acoustic panel with the features of claim 1. The dependent claims relate to advantageous further developments of the invention.

[0006] According to the invention, a holding means for attaching an object to an acoustic panel is provided, comprising: - a base having four base legs which define a closed outline of the base, wherein a first base leg and a second base leg are oriented parallel to each other and are straight and are sectionally offset from each other in a longitudinal direction of the holding means, wherein a third base leg extends between the first base leg and the second base leg and is curved outwards in a circular arc, and wherein a fourth base leg, which is opposite the third base leg, extends between the first base leg and the second base leg and is curved outwards in a circular arc. - a retaining dome extending orthogonally to the base and designed to accommodate a fastening means of the object, and having an outer wall and an outer edge section, as well as - two clamping spring means arranged on the outer wall of the retaining dome, wherein the base is shaped such that the retaining means can be fixed by a plug-and-turn movement in a groove of the acoustic panel bounded by two adjacent and spaced-apart lamellae, and wherein the clamping spring means are designed to clamp the retaining means in a mounting position within the groove.

[0007] The retaining element according to the invention, to which an object to be attached to the acoustic panel can be fastened, can be fixed very easily and intuitively by means of a plug-and-turn connection in a groove of the acoustic panel. The clamping spring means ensure that the retaining element is securely held in the intended mounting position within the groove.

[0008] The base of the retaining element is dimensioned such that the distance between the first and second base legs does not exceed the width of the acoustic panel's groove, which is defined by the distance between two adjacent lamellae. During installation, the retaining element is inserted into the groove with the base legs oriented essentially parallel to the lamellae. The underside of the base then rests in the groove on the top side of a plate-shaped base body of the acoustic panel. At the edges, a narrow gap is formed in sections between the lamellae and the top side of the plate-shaped base body, which also forms the bottom of the grooves in the acoustic panel. After being inserted into the groove, the retaining element is rotated so that its base extends section by section into the respective gaps on both sides, thus securing the retaining element in these gaps. This rotation also compresses the retaining element's clamping springs, providing additional clamping force that acts on the adjacent slats, ensuring a particularly secure hold of the retaining element in the relevant groove of the acoustic panel. If required by the object being attached to the acoustic panel, several retaining elements can be used, mounted in one or more grooves of the acoustic panel.

[0009] To simplify the manufacture of the holding element, the holding dome is preferably formed integrally with the base.

[0010] To further simplify the manufacture of the holding device, the clamping spring means are preferably integrally formed with the holding dome.

[0011] In one embodiment, it is proposed that the clamping spring means extend at least sectionally tangentially to the outer wall of the retaining dome.

[0012] In an advantageous embodiment, it is proposed that the clamping spring means be curved outwards in sections in a circular arc shape. Preferably, the clamping spring means can have a greater curvature than the third and fourth base legs of the base.

[0013] In one embodiment, the mounting dome may have an internal thread for receiving a fastening element for the object to be attached to the acoustic panel. The fastening element may, in particular, be a fastening screw or a fastening bolt with an external thread.

[0014] To simplify assembly (and also disassembly) and in particular the execution of the rotational movement of the retaining element after insertion into the groove, an advantageous embodiment provides that the retaining dome has two slots on its outer edge section offset from each other by 180° in the circumferential direction, which are designed to receive a free end of a screwdriver.

[0015] Alternatively or in addition to the slots, it is also possible for an area of the retaining dome adjacent to the upper edge section on an inner side to be formed in a polygonal shape, particularly a hexagonal shape. This allows a polygonal tool corresponding to this polygonal shape to engage in this area to rotate the retaining element. For example, this area can be hexagonal so that a user can use an Allen key to rotate the retaining element.

[0016] Further features and advantages of an embodiment of the invention are described below with reference to the drawings. The same reference numerals are used for identical or similar parts and for parts with identical or similar functions. The drawings show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a holding device for attaching an object to an acoustic panel according to a preferred embodiment, Fig. 2 a top view of the holding device according to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 a perspective view illustrating the mounting of the retaining device in a groove of the acoustic panel, Fig. 4 A perspective view showing the adhesive after installation in the groove of the acoustic panel in a mounting position.

[0017] It is not necessary for a holding means 1 according to the invention for attaching an object to an acoustic panel 10 to have all the features described below. It is also possible for a holding means 1 according to the invention to have only individual features of the embodiment described below.

[0018] With reference to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 comprises a holding means 1 for attaching an object to an acoustic panel 10, a flat base 2 and a cylindrically shaped holding dome 3 with an outer wall 30, which extends orthogonally to the base 2 and is integrally formed with it.

[0019] As shown in particular in the top view according to Fig. As can be seen from Figure 2, base 2 has four base legs 20, 21, 22, 23, which define the outline and thus also the basic geometric shape of base 2. A first base leg 20 and a second base leg 21, which is opposite the first base leg 20, are straight and oriented parallel to each other. The first base leg 20 and the second base leg 21 are oriented longitudinally along the retaining element 1. Fig. The bases 2, designated as the x-direction, are offset from each other in segments. A third base leg 22 extends between the first base leg 20 and the second base leg 21 and is curved outwards in a circular arc. A fourth base leg 23, opposite the third base leg 22, extends between the first base leg 20 and the second base leg 21 and is also curved outwards in a circular arc. In plan view, the outline of base 2 thus resembles, in a certain way, the outline of a parallelogram, except that the third base leg 22 and the fourth base leg 23 are not straight as in a parallelogram, but curved outwards in a circular arc.

[0020] The retaining dome 3 has an internal thread 31, so that a fastening screw or a fastening bolt with an external thread of an object to be attached to the retaining means 1 or of a mounting component of the object can be screwed to the retaining dome 3. For example, a mounting element of a lighting device, in particular a mounting plate of the lighting device, can be attached to several of the retaining means 1 presented here, which are fixed to the acoustic panel 10.

[0021] The retaining dome 3 further comprises two clamping spring elements 4, 5, which are arranged on two opposing sections of the outer wall 30 and are integrally formed with the retaining dome 3. These clamping spring elements 4, 5 extend in opposite directions, sectionally tangential to the outer wall 30 of the retaining dome 3. The two clamping spring elements 4, 5 are also sectionally curved outwards in a circular arc. As shown in the top view according to Fig. As can be seen from 2, the two clamping spring means 4, 5 have a stronger curvature than the third base leg 22 and the fourth base leg 23 of the base 2 to which they adjoin.

[0022] With further reference to Fig. 3 and Fig. Section 4 below will explain in more detail the assembly of the retaining element 1 on an acoustic panel 10 with a plate-shaped base body 17. These two figures each show only a portion of an acoustic panel 10. Two elongated grooves 11, 12 are visible, each laterally bounded by two elongated lamellae 13, 14, 15. The grooves 11, 12 are formed by attaching the lamellae 13, 14, 15 parallel to and spaced apart from each other on a top surface 170 of the plate-shaped base body 17.

[0023] A first groove 11 is laterally bounded by a first side wall 130 of a first lamella 13 and a first side wall 140 of a second lamella 14. A second groove 12 is laterally bounded by a second side wall 141 of the second lamella 14, which is opposite the first side wall 140 of the second lamella 14, and by a first side wall 150 of a third lamella 15.

[0024] The following section describes in more detail the installation of the retaining element 1 in the first groove 11 of the acoustic panel 10. The base 2 of the retaining element 1 is dimensioned such that the distance between the first base leg 20 and the second base leg 21 does not exceed the width of the first groove 11, which is defined by the distance between the first lamella 13 and the second lamella 14. As shown in Fig. As can be seen from Figure 3, the retaining element 1 is inserted into the first groove 11 in an orientation of the base 2 in which the base legs 20, 21 extend essentially parallel to the lamellae 13, 14. A bottom surface of the base 2 then rests in the first groove 11 on the top surface 170 of the plate-shaped base body 17.

[0025] At the edge, between the lamellae 13, 14, 15 and the upper surface 170 of the plate-shaped base body 17, which also forms the groove base of the grooves 11, 12, a narrow gap is formed in sections, which is not explicitly visible in Figures 3 and 4. Starting from the illustration in Fig.3. After insertion into the first groove 11, the retaining element 1 can be rotated counterclockwise such that the base 2 of the retaining element 1 extends section by section into the spaces on both sides, thus securing the retaining element 1 in these spaces. The rotational movement also compresses the clamping spring elements 4, 5 of the retaining element 1, thereby providing an additional clamping force that acts on the first lamella 13 and the second lamella 14, thus ensuring a particularly secure hold of the retaining element 1 in the first groove 11 of the acoustic panel 10. The retaining element 1 is thus secured in the first groove 11 by a plug-and-turn movement, with the clamping spring elements 4, 5 providing additional clamping forces and ensuring a particularly secure hold of the retaining element 1 in the first groove 11.

[0026] The height of the retaining element 1 preferably corresponds to the height, or at least substantially to the height, of the grooves 11, 12 of the acoustic panel 10. To simplify the execution of the rotational movement for locking the retaining element 1 after its insertion into one of the grooves 11, 12, the cylindrical retaining dome 3 has two opposing—in other words, circumferentially offset by 180°—aligned slots 33, 34 on its upper edge section 32. A user can engage these slots with a screwdriver to rotate and lock the retaining element 1 after insertion into the respective groove 11, 12. The slots 33, 34 also simplify the removal of the retaining element 1.

[0027] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a region 35 of the retaining dome 3, adjacent to the upper edge section 32 on an inner side, is designed in a polygonal shape (i.e., as an internal polygon), so that a corresponding polygonal tool can engage in this region 35 to rotate the retaining element 1 during assembly or disassembly. In this particular embodiment, this region is designed in a hexagonal shape (i.e., as an internal hexagon), so that a user can use an Allen key to rotate the retaining element 1.
