Abstract
Description
Technical FieldThe disclosure relates to a manual motorized battery powered (ratchet) fork used over open fire. The center of gravity is located on a self-moving mechanism which transmits the rotary motion from a direct current motor via a gear to the fork stem and the fork tine or tines.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONHand-held open-fire frying forks are known and widely used, which are made of iron or stainless material with a grip of metal, wood or plastic. The drawback of these forks is that they must be turned manually during frying to prevent the food from burning or being not cooked uniformly. In this way, the fried food is not cooked optimally. Conventional frying forks allow uniform browning and cooking of the food to only a limited extent. Moreover, they cannot be placed in a holder which would allow uniform and comfortable browning of the food from all sides above the fire.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, it is an object of the invention to overcome or at least reduce the disadvantages of the prior art. This object is achieved with the features of the independent claims. The dependent claims relate to further aspects of the invention.According to one embodiment of the present invention, a manual motorized battery powered (frying) fork for open fire use is provided in accordance with the present disclosure. This fork may have a motorized rotatable part of the fork body (fork stem) and the fork prongs, which is activated by a switch. This eliminates the above problems, reduces the risk of burning the food, and simplifies and facilitates the frying process over open fire. Moreover, this fork can allow the placement in a static holder in which the desired food is cooked by slow turning without having to be held in the hand.In one embodiment, the fork stem is fixedly connected to the shaft of the transmission. The direct current motor, which is preferably fixedly mounted in the handle, transmits a rotational force via the gear to the rotatable fork stem. The DC motor is powered by batteries, for example one or more AA batteries or AAA batteries LR03 (1.5V). The batteries may be housed in a battery compartment having electrical contacts (positive contact of the battery compartment and negative contact of the battery compartment). The battery compartment is inserted into the handle during operation. The battery compartment can be inserted and removed after unscrewing the battery compartment cover. The battery compartment cover may be unscrewed in a counterclockwise direction and screwed in a clockwise direction, for example. The positive contact of the battery compartment is connected to the positive contact of the DC motor by the bias of a spring. The negative contact of the direct current motor is electrically conductively connected to the handle. The operation of the DC motor is turned on and off by a switch on the battery compartment cover. The switch is electrically conductively connected to the battery compartment or to the negative contact of the battery compartment by the bias voltage of the switch contact spring. The battery compartment cover is conductively connected to the handle after the battery compartment cover is tightened, electrically connecting the negative contact of the DC motor to the DC motor via the handle, thereby completing the circuit and the DC motor rotating the gear box that rotates the fork stem and the fork prongs via the connecting body and the gear box.The battery compartment can also be mounted elsewhere in the handle or externally. The advantages of the hand-held battery-powered straddle-type (fork) for open fire use according to this technical solution lie, among other things, in self-propelled rotational movement. This movement rotates the fork stem and the fork tine or tines, which represents a significant improvement over conventional hand-held meat emulsion. Thanks to this self-propelled mechanism, cooking food with this fork is more convenient and associated with a lower risk of overcooking or burning the cooked food.Brief Description of the DrawingsThe technical solution will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is an overall view of the assembled hand-held direct current powered fork over open fire; FIG. 2 : detailed view of the handle with battery compartment, battery compartment cover and switch; FIG. 3 : Exploded drawing of the handle; FIG. 4 : Schematic side view of the inner arrangement of the handle; FIG. 5 : Detailed view of the battery compartment cover, the switch and the battery compartment.Embodiments of the InventionThe hand-held battery-powered fork for open fire use shown in Figs. 1-5 has fork prongs / comb 1, fork stem / fork body 2, handle 3, front bearing housing 4, front bearing 5, rear bearing housing 6, rear bearing 7, gear 8, fork body and gear connection 9, DC motor 10, DC motor positive contact 11, DC motor negative contact 12, battery compartment positive contact 13, battery compartment 14, battery compartment negative contact 15, switch contact 16, battery compartment cover 17 and switch 18.The front bearing housing 4 is mounted on the side of the handle 3 facing the fork stem 2 and the fork prongs 1, the rear bearing housing 6 is mounted on the side of the handle 3 facing away from the fork stem 2 and the fork prongs 1.For example, as shown in FIG. 4, a rear part of the fork stem 2 is rotatably supported in the front bearing 5 and the rear bearing 7.Generally, in the present disclosure, "rear" denotes a user-facing side and "front" denotes a grill-facing side. The internal arrangement of the handle 3 is shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the fork stem 2 is fixedly connected to the transmission 8 via the connection 9 of the fork stem and the transmission. The motor 10, for example a direct current motor, rotates the gear 8, the gear 8 transmits the torque to the fork stem 2 and the fork prongs 1. the fork stem 2 is held by two radial bearings: the front bearing 5 and the rear bearing 7. the bearings (the front bearing 5 and the rear bearing 7) are accommodated in housings: the front bearing housing 4 (front bearing housing) and the rear bearing housing 6 (rear bearing housing). The bearing housings are fixedly installed in the handle 3. The DC motor 10 is powered by batteries in the battery compartment 14. The battery compartment 14 is connected to the positive contact 13 of the battery compartment by the bias of the spring of the positive contact 11 of the DC motor. The negative contact 12 of the direct current motor is electrically conductively connected to the handle 3. The handle 3 is electrically conductive and connects the negative contact 12 of the DC motor to the battery compartment cover 17 The battery compartment cover 17 has a built-in switch 18 with two internal contacts: an internal contact is electrically conductive connected to the battery compartment cover 17 (e.g., the battery compartment cover 17 is electrically conductive). The other inner contact of the switch 18 is electrically conductively connected to the switch contact 16. The switch contact 16 is a spring that connects by pressure the battery compartment cover 17 and the negative contact 15 of the battery compartment. The inner contacts are hereby mounted inside the handle 3 when the battery compartment cover is mounted.Industrial applicabilityThe handheld battery powered open fire fork of the present disclosure provides a broad range of applications for various situations and activities. Besides camping, sports, domestic and recreational activities as well as the preparation of food in open fire garden, this fork can be used for picnics and family meetings, festivals and outdoor events, survival in nature, outdoor activities and teambuilders, garden party and grills, fishing and the preparation of food for anglers. This innovative fork combines convenience and fun in different situations where the preparation of food over open fire is desired, and at the same time is compact and easy to transport for different outdoor activities.
