Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a circular saw blade for processing various materials, such as steel, aluminum, plastic, and wood. In particular, several saw teeth are formed on the base / body of the circular saw blade. Each of the saw teeth carries a cutting material part. A chip space is formed between successive saw teeth of the circular saw blade.
[0002] German patent application DE 41 41 997 A1 discloses a circular saw blade with a plurality of alternating cutting teeth evenly distributed around the circumference of a disc, and with an equal number of tooth gaps between the cutting teeth. The circular saw blade is less hazardous and less noisy. Furthermore, the circular saw blade operates with less dust. Each tooth gap following a cutting tooth, on the disc side facing away from the cutting side of the cutting tooth, is at least partially covered by a covering surface in the disc's circumferential direction, extending from the base of the tooth gap to the disc's circumference.
[0003] So-called alternate-tooth saw blades or cutting teeth arranged in other tooth geometries are used to create a severing cut. Each cutting tooth is followed by a tooth gap through which the chipped material is removed from the kerf. Each tooth creates a chip, which is collected by the chip space and removed from the material being cut.
[0004] The invention is based on the object of creating a circular saw blade, in particular for electrically operated hand-held circular saws, which requires less effort from the sawyer when sawing, reduces the temperature development during cutting and prevents jamming during the cut, especially with hard materials.
[0005] The problem is solved by a circular saw blade for various, particularly hard materials, which comprises the features of claim 1.
[0006] The circular saw blade according to the invention is characterized in that some of the saw teeth of the circular saw blade carry a cutting material part of a first type that has a first projection in the axial direction of the blade base. Some of the saw teeth of the circular saw blade carry a cutting material part of a second type that has a first projection in the opposite direction to the axial direction of the blade base.
[0007] The cutting material parts of the first type and the cutting material parts of the second type define a group. The plurality of groups are arranged evenly and homogeneously on the saw teeth of the circular saw blade or on its circumference.
[0008] An advantage of the circular saw blade according to the invention is that the different types of cutting material parts prevent jamming during cutting and reduce the thermal load on the circular saw blade.
[0009] In addition to the cutting material parts of the first and second types, some of the saw teeth of the circular saw blade can support the cutting edge. The cutting material part of the third type has a second projection on both sides in the axial direction and in the opposite direction to the axial direction of the blade base.
[0010] According to one possible embodiment, the cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type, and the cutting material parts of the third type define a group. A plurality of the groups are provided uniformly and homogeneously on the saw teeth of the circumference of the circular saw blade.
[0011] According to possible embodiments, the cutting material parts of the first type and the cutting material parts of the second type define different groups. Likewise, the plurality of cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type, and the cutting material parts of the third type define different groups. The plurality of different groups is arranged evenly or irregularly around the circumference of the saw teeth of the circular saw blade.
[0012] According to an advantageous embodiment, the first projection of the cutting material parts of the first type and the cutting material parts of the second type is greater than or equal to the second projection of the cutting material parts of the third type.
[0013] The cutting material part of the first type is attached to the sawtooth in such a way that it is flush with the blade body relative to the first projection. The cutting material part of the second type is attached to the sawtooth in such a way that it is flush with the blade body relative to the first projection. The cutting material part of the third type is attached to the sawtooth in such a way that it has the second projection relative to the blade body on both sides.
[0014] The saw teeth carry the cutting material parts on a cutting material seat, which can be soldered or attached using other connection methods, such as gluing or welding.
[0015] Circular saw blades with cutting material components of the first type, cutting material components of the second type, or cutting material components of the first type, cutting material components of the second type, and cutting material components of the third type are used to create a severance cut that is wider than the base of the circular saw blade. Each cutting material component of a cutting tooth creates a chip, which is collected by the chip space and removed from the material.
[0016] These cutting material components are arranged alternately with a flat left-hand and right-hand side, or with a flat left-hand and right-hand side and centered, or in other sawtooth group arrangements. The tooth variants shown ensure optimized chip removal and significantly lower temperature development during the cutting process. This eliminates the risk of the circular saw blade jamming during cutting, especially on components subject to mechanical stress (such as metal structures, containers, pipes, and the like, which are particularly made of hard materials).
[0017] The advantage of the invention is that the chip generated during cutting is better removed by the formed and larger first projections on one side as well as on the other side of the cutting material part of the first type or the cutting material part of the second type and the two-sided second projections of the cutting material part of the third type (e.g. cutting material part soldered in the middle of the saw tooth), which prevents jamming in the cutting gap in hard materials such as steel.
[0018] According to one possible embodiment, the plurality of cutting material parts of the first type and the cutting material parts of the second type or the plurality of cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type and the cutting material parts of the third type can define differently designed groups.
[0019] A possible further embodiment of a group consists, for example, of a cutting material part of the first type, followed by a cutting material part of the third type and followed by a cutting material part of the second type.
[0020] A still further embodiment of a group is constructed, for example, from a cutting material part of the first type, followed by a cutting material part of the third type, followed by a cutting material part of the second type and again followed by a cutting material part of the third type.
[0021] The groups of one possible embodiment can be arranged homogeneously around the circumference of the circular saw blade. It is also conceivable for different groups to be provided on the circumference of the circular saw blade, distributed evenly around the circumference. The design of the groups and their arrangement around the circumference serve only to describe the invention and should not be construed as a limitation.
[0022] According to a further embodiment, the plurality of cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type and the cutting material parts of the third type can define different types of groups, wherein a plurality of the different types of groups are arranged unevenly on the cutting teeth on the circumference of the circular saw blade.
[0023] The saw teeth can be spaced at different distances around the circumference of the circular saw blade. This results in different distances between the tooth tips of the cutting material parts located on the circumference of the circular saw blade.
[0024] The advantage of arranging the cutting material parts in groups is that it facilitates chip removal and minimizes the temperature load on the circular saw blade.
[0025] The circular saw blade for hand-held circular saws (electrically powered or pneumatically powered) comprises a multitude of cutting teeth distributed evenly or unevenly around the circumference of a disc (base). The cutting teeth can be positioned alternately on the left and right sides, or even left and right sides and centered, or in other tooth groups. Likewise, the tooth spaces (chip spaces) are provided with an equal number of teeth between the cutting teeth.
[0026] According to one possible embodiment, the projection of the cutting material part of the first type has a chamfer at the free end, and the projection of the cutting material part of the second type has a chamfer at the free end. The cutting material part of the third type, for example, has a tapered trapezoid formed at its free end. The design of the tapered trapezoid is also merely descriptive and should not be construed as a limitation of the invention.
[0027] An advantage of the design of the cutting material parts and their offset arrangement on the circular saw blade is that the chip removal per tooth is reduced, which therefore requires less effort from the sawyer.
[0028] In addition, the projections of the first-type cutting material part, the second-type cutting material part, and the two-sided projections of the third-type cutting material part taper toward the center of the circular saw blade. This has the advantage of reducing the temperature input into the circular saw blade.
[0029] According to another possible embodiment, the plurality of cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type, and the cutting material parts of the third type are arranged on the saw teeth of the circular saw blade such that the cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type, and the cutting material parts of the third type are arranged unevenly distributed on the base blade / body of the circular saw blade. The uneven arrangement of the cutting material parts of the first type, the cutting material parts of the second type, and the cutting material parts of the third type is to be understood such that several cutting material parts of the first type, several cutting material parts of the second type, and several cutting material parts of the third type are attached to the saw teeth on the circumference of the circular saw blade in any sequence and number of cutting material parts per group.
[0030] The circular saw blade is particularly suitable for electrically powered or pneumatically powered hand-held circular saws. The numerous cutting material components are positioned evenly or unevenly around the circumference of a workpiece. The cutting teeth can be positioned alternately on the left and right sides, or even left and right sides and centered, or in other tooth groups. The cutting teeth can be provided with an equal number of chip spaces (tooth gaps) between the cutting teeth.
[0031] The invention and its advantages will now be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, without thereby limiting the invention to the embodiment shown. The proportions in the figures do not always correspond to the actual proportions, as some shapes are simplified and others are enlarged relative to other elements for clarity. Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a possible embodiment of the circular saw blade according to the invention, which can be used, for example, in machines for separating metal parts. Fig. 2 shows a cutting material part of a first type and the manner of attachment to a saw tooth of the circular saw blade. Fig. 3 shows a cutting material part of a second type and the manner of attachment to a saw tooth of the circular saw blade. Fig. Figure 5 shows a schematic front view of the superposition of the different types of cutting material parts according to the designs of the cutting material parts from Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, which are on the saw teeth of the circular saw blade. Fig. 6 shows an enlarged view of the superposition of different types of cutting material parts of the Fig. 5. [0032] Identical reference numerals are used for identical or equivalently functioning elements of the invention. Furthermore, for the sake of clarity, only those reference numerals are shown in the individual figures that are necessary for the description of the respective figure. The figures merely illustrate exemplary embodiments of the invention, without, however, limiting the invention to the illustrated exemplary embodiments.
[0033] Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a circular saw blade 1 according to a possible embodiment of the invention. The circular saw blade according to the invention is preferably used in machines for separating metal parts that are under mechanical stress. A plurality of saw teeth 4 are provided on the circumference 3 of the circular saw blade 1. In the body 2 (blade base) of the circular saw blade 1, several slots 5 of different shapes are formed in order to reduce vibrations of the circular saw blade 1. The slots 5 (laser ornaments) in the body 2 produce a vibration reduction in order to enable low-vibration sawing. The number, shape, and positioning of the slots 5 in the body 2 (blade base) of the circular saw blade 1 are variable. The slots 5 can, for example, be introduced into the body 2 (blade base) of the circular saw blade 1 using a laser.According to one possible embodiment, each saw tooth 4 carries a cutting material part 61, 62 or 63, wherein the cutting material parts 61, 62 and 63 each differ in terms of design. Each saw tooth 4 is assigned a chip space 7, which is responsible for receiving and removing the chips generated during sawing. The cutting material parts 61, 62 and 63 can be arranged arbitrarily on the saw teeth 4 or by forming groups. Although the following description deals with three different cutting material parts 61, 62 and 63, this should not be construed as a limitation of the invention. It is conceivable that only two different cutting material parts 61 and 62 are arranged on the saw teeth 4 of the circular saw blade 1 to form groups.
[0034] Fig. Figure 2 shows a cutting material part 61 of a first type and the type of attachment to a saw tooth 4 of the circular saw blade 1, which is formed on the base blade 2 of the circular saw blade 1. The cutting material part 61 of the first type has a first projection 8 in the axial direction A relative to the base blade 2, which has a thickness D. Likewise, a chip space 7 is formed in the base blade 2, to which, for example, the cutting material part 61 of the first type is assigned (see Fig. 1). The cutting material part 61 of the first type is attached to the saw tooth 4 such that a left side 11 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type, which is opposite the first projection 8, is flush with a left side 13 of the base blade 2.
[0035] Fig. 3 shows a cutting material part 62 of a second type and the type of attachment to a sawtooth 4 of the circular saw blade 1, which is formed on the base blade 2 of the circular saw blade 1. The cutting material part 62 of the second type has a first projection 8 in a direction opposite to the axial direction A relative to the base blade 2, which has a thickness D, and the chip space 7. The cutting material part 62 of the second type is attached to the sawtooth 4 such that a right side 12 of the cutting material part 62 of the second type, which is opposite the first projection 8, is flush with a right side 14 of the base blade 2.
[0036] Fig. 4 shows a cutting material part 63 of a third type and the type of attachment to a sawtooth 4 of the circular saw blade 1, which is formed on the base blade 2 of the circular saw blade 1. The cutting material part 63 of the third type has a second projection 9 in the axial direction A relative to the base blade 2, which has a thickness D, and the chip space 7. Likewise, the cutting material part 63 of the third type has a second projection 9 in the opposite direction B to the axial direction A relative to the base blade 2, which has a thickness D, and the chip space 7.
[0037] Fig. Fig. 5 shows schematically a frontal view of the superposition of three different types of cutting material parts 61, 62 and 63 according to the designs of the cutting material parts 61, 62 and 63 from Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, which are attached to the circular saw blade 1. The sequence of the cutting material parts of the first type 61, the second type 62, and the third type 63 defines a group. The sequence of the cutting material parts of the first type 61, the second type 62, and the third type 63 serves merely for description purposes and is not to be construed as a limitation of the invention. The entirety of the cutting material part 61 of the first type and the cutting material part 62 of the second type define the first projection 8 on both sides, which projects beyond the thickness D of the base blade 2 of the circular saw blade 1.
[0038] Fig. Fig. 6 shows an enlarged view of the superposition of the cutting material part 61 of the first type, the cutting material part 62 of the second type and the cutting material part 63 of the third type, as in Fig. 5 shown. Fig. 6 shows a difference 10 on both sides between the first projection 8 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type or the cutting material part 62 of the second type and the second projection 9 of the cutting material part 63 of the third type. This means that during the cutting process, the cutting material part 61 of the first type and the cutting material part 62 of the second type are in lateral contact with the material 15 to be cut. At the free end 21 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type and at the free end 22 (cutting edge) of the cutting material part 62 of the second type, a chamfer 30 is formed, which ensures reduced surface contact between the cutting material parts 61 and 62 when the circular saw blade 1 is inserted into the material 15 to be cut.Furthermore, according to one possible embodiment, the cutting material part 63 of the third type has a trapezoid 31 formed at the free end 23 (cutting edge), which projects beyond the free ends 21 and 22 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type and the cutting material part 62 of the second type. The trapezoid 31 tapers in the radial direction R and projects beyond the free ends 21 and 22 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type and the cutting material part 62 of the second type. Here, too, the trapezoid 31 serves to reduce surface contact and thus reduce thermal stress on the cutting material part 63 of the third type. In the most general embodiment, the cutting material part 63 of the third type is tapered at the free end 23 (cutting edge) and is not limited to the shape of a trapezoid 31.
[0039] Fig. Figure 7 shows a schematic view of the cutting area of the circular saw blade 1 defined by the saw teeth 4. In the embodiment shown here, the cutting material part 61 of a first type, the cutting material part 62 of the second type and the cutting material part 63 of the third type define a group 60. The group 60 is then arranged homogeneously on the saw teeth 4 of the circular saw blade 1 if always identically designed groups are arranged on the circumference of the circular saw blade 1. The in Fig. The group 60 shown in Figure 7 serves merely as a description and is in no way to be construed as a limitation of the invention. It will be obvious to a person skilled in the art that the groups may be composed differently than described above. The groups may also not be arranged homogeneously on the saw teeth 4 on the circumference of the circular saw blade 1. It is also conceivable for groups of different compositions, i.e., heterogeneous, to be arranged on the saw teeth 4 on the circumference of the circular saw blade 1.
[0040] Again Fig. 7, the group 60 is composed in the direction of rotation U of the circular saw blade 1 of the cutting material part 61 of the first type, the cutting material part 62 of the second type and the cutting material part 63 of the third type. The cutting material part 61 of the first type and the cutting material part 62 of the second type each define a first projection 8 on the saw tooth 4, which projects beyond the base blade 2 of the circular saw blade 1. The cutting material part 63 of the third type defines the second projection 9 on both sides of the saw tooth 4. The chip space 7 is arranged upstream of each cutting material part 61, 62 and 63 in the direction of rotation U of the circular saw blade 1.
[0041] Fig. Figure 8 shows a perspective partial view of the circular saw blade 1 according to the invention. Each saw tooth 4 carries one of the cutting material parts 61, 62 or 63. The chip space 7 is arranged in front of each cutting material part 61, 62 or 63 in the direction of rotation U. Here too, as Fig.7, group 60 comprises cutting material part 63 of the third type, cutting material part 62 of the second type, and cutting material part 61 of the first type. It is also conceivable that the tooth tips 25 of the different and consecutive cutting material parts 61, 62, or 63 may also have a different tooth tip spacing 26.
[0042] It is self-evident that changes and modifications to the structure of the circular saw blade 1 can be made without departing from the scope of the following claims.
