Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The invention relates to a support device for supporting a housing. The aim is to reliably support the housing at a predetermined height. BACKGROUND

[0002] Gas turbine exhaust casings, especially those of large gas turbines, are very heavy. This requires corresponding support, which in turn is very heavy. Although a slight misalignment between the gas turbine exhaust casing and the gas turbine can be compensated for using compensating elements, permissible misalignment limits must not be exceeded. This is particularly important to prevent uncontrolled exhaust gas leakage from the gas turbine.

[0003] Since the exhaust system is of no further importance, it is important to keep support costs low and therefore only provide the bare minimum required for support. Therefore, support is usually provided via lattice-like frames consisting of vertical steel posts and cross braces. Load straps are used that grip underneath the gas turbine exhaust casing to be supported.

[0004] The height is easily adjusted by shortening or lengthening the load straps. This is both a particularly cost-effective and easy-to-use solution. In particular, the load straps require no additional equipment to install, as they are manageable in weight.

[0005] However, it has been found to be disadvantageous that, depending on the setting and condition of the load bands, the long-term correct storage of the gas turbine exhaust casing cannot always be guaranteed. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The object of the present invention is to enable a cost-effective and simple mounting of a heavy gas turbine exhaust casing, which reliably ensures the correct position of the exhaust casing over a longer period of time.

[0007] The object is achieved by an embodiment of the invention according to the teaching of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0008] A housing support is used to support a housing. The housing support has a grid-like shape and comprises at least two posts arranged vertically on either side of the housing to be supported, as well as at least one cross brace connecting the posts.

[0009] The housing is supported by a support element that extends between two posts. The support element is attached to a post head at each end, and a lifting device located on the post head allows the support element to be raised.

[0010] According to the invention, it is initially provided that the support element is formed by a rigid bracket support.

[0011] It is essential that the lifting device comprises a support element which is attached to the post head and on which the bracket support rests, and a lifting piston which is arranged between the support element and the post head. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0012] A generic housing support is used to support a housing. The type of housing is initially irrelevant. The housing support is particularly suitable for supporting large, heavy components that must be stored at a specified height. Therefore, the housing in the preferred application is a gas turbine exhaust housing.

[0013] The housing support has a grid-like shape and comprises at least two posts arranged vertically on both sides of the housing to be supported and at least one cross brace for connecting the posts.

[0014] In an advantageous embodiment, at least four vertical posts are provided, arranged in pairs opposite one another. The four posts are connected by cross braces running transversely to the housing and by cross braces connecting adjacent posts along the length.

[0015] The housing is supported by a support element that extends between two posts. The support element is attached to a post head at each end, and a lifting device located on the post head allows the support element to be raised.

[0016] If four posts are present, two adjacent support elements are preferably used, each arranged between two opposite posts.

[0017] The lifting device is not intended to lift the housing from a transport position to its final position. Rather, it serves to adjust the housing's exact height within the required accuracy. Possible tolerances must be taken into account.

[0018] In order to avoid or at least reduce a change in position over a longer period of time, in particular a sinking, the invention provides that the support element is formed by a rigid bracket support.

[0019] The design as a rigid bracket support leads to a disadvantage in terms of the weight of the bracket support, which - depending on the size - is no longer manageable without aids, but ensures the reliability of the support device in its function as a support for the housing at a fixed height.

[0020] It is essential for successful installation and storage of the housing that, according to the invention, the lifting device comprises a support element and a lifting piston.

[0021] The support element is attached to the post head when the housing is being stored. The bracket support, in turn, rests on the support element. Thus, the support during storage of the housing is transferred from the housing via the bracket support to the support element and then via the post head and the post.

[0022] The lifting piston is provided for height adjustment. This is positioned between the post head and the support element. This allows the support element to be raised by the lifting piston to adjust the housing to the required height. Once the correct position is reached, the support element is then secured to the post head.

[0023] Although the solution according to the invention has increased the assembly effort, the position of the housing can now be guaranteed even over a long period of time.

[0024] Although adjusting the height using a lifting piston allows for easy adjustment, precise adjustment is time-consuming, as a lifting piston—especially a hydraulic one—cannot be precisely positioned easily. Therefore, for optimization, it is advantageous to use height-adjustable or selectable adjustment devices that can be inserted between the support element and the post head.

[0025] The use of adjustment devices allows the housing to be raised slightly above the desired position without having to maintain an exact dimension. The adjustment devices can then be inserted or adjusted. When the housing is lowered, the height is determined by the adjustment devices. This allows the exact position to be reached in a short time.

[0026] In a first variant, washers are used as adjustment means, which should be available in different thicknesses.

[0027] In a second preferred variant, adjustment screws are used as adjustment means. These can be screwed into the support element and rest on the post head. Thus, the height of the support element, and thus of the housing, can be adjusted relative to the post head by simply turning the adjustment screw.

[0028] To ensure even contact between the support element and the post head without additional bending moment, it is advantageous to use two opposing adjustment screws—the same applies to other adjustment devices. This allows the piston to be positioned centrally.

[0029] Once the exact position has been achieved, it is particularly advantageous to attach the support element to the post head using fastening screws. In addition to preventing any remaining mobility, this also prevents the adjustment elements, preferably the adjustment screws, from being permanently subjected to the full weight.

[0030] The shape of the support element is initially irrelevant, provided that it can be attached to the post head and a lifting piston can be arranged between the support element and the post head.

[0031] The support element preferably has a top support and two opposing screw plates. The support and screw plates can be constructed as a single piece, a cast component, a welded construction, or in multiple parts. In each case, the stirrup support rests on the support, and the support is supported by the two screw plates, with the screw plates in turn being attached to the post head.

[0032] The lifting piston can preferably act directly on the support.

[0033] The adjustment devices can be positioned between the support and the post head. The use of adjustment screws is particularly simplified when they are positioned on the mounting plates.

[0034] Although the bracket support is designed as an inherently rigid structure, the heavy weight of a supporting housing can result in a transverse force on the support element. This obviously leads to additional stress on the connection between the support element and the post head, in addition to the vertical forces that must be supported.

[0035] To absorb transverse forces and to guide the support element on the post head, especially during assembly and adjustment, it is particularly advantageous to have support means for guiding and supporting the support element in a transverse direction, i.e., in a direction toward the support element opposite the housing. The initial design of these support means is irrelevant.

[0036] In a first advantageous variant, the post head has two opposing, parallel, vertically extending guide surfaces. These can be implemented, for example, as a vertical groove. It is also possible to provide external guide surfaces in the area of the attachment to the post head. In this case, sliding surfaces are complementary to these on the support element, which engage with the guide surfaces. A slight amount of play, which ensures assembly and adjustability, i.e., vertical displacement, must be taken into account.

[0037] In a second advantageous variant, two opposing guide plates are arranged on the support element, with the post head located between the guide plates. One guide plate is arranged on the side facing the bracket support, and the other is arranged opposite.

[0038] It is particularly advantageous if the guide plates are not integral with the support element, but at least one of the two guide plates is mountable. This solution allows for easier installation of the support element on the post head by removing at least one guide plate.

[0039] The design of the bracket support is initially irrelevant, as long as a certain inherent rigidity and the load-bearing capacity for the weight of the housing are ensured.

[0040] The bracket support preferably comprises two vertically aligned support struts arranged parallel to one another, as well as at least one support support attached thereto. The support struts must extend to a support head, or into a support head, with the support head resting against the support element. Thus, the weight force can be transferred from the housing via the support struts and the support head to the support element.

[0041] For example, the support struts can be made of flat steel cut using a laser cutter. The design of the support support is of secondary importance. At the very least, it serves to connect the two support struts and also as a base for the housing. A bent flat steel is preferred.

[0042] Although the bracket support can be constructed in one piece, it is advantageous, especially in cases of high weight that prevent handling without aids, for the bracket support to be constructed in two parts and thus comprise two support segments. In this case, the two support segments are provided with a coupling plate at the adjacent end, whereby the two coupling plates can be firmly connected to each other, for example, by screwing.

[0043] The division into two support segments may also require additional assembly aids. It is advantageous to use an auxiliary device located centrally between the posts below the stirrup support. This can be mounted, for example, on a cross brace. The auxiliary device should include at least one, preferably two, lifting pistons, which allow the support segments to be lifted at the end with the coupling plates, so that they can be connected to each other after lifting. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of a housing support 01 with two bracket supports 04, each of which is supported on two posts 02. Fig. 2 shows the execution from Fig. 1 with an exemplary housing 31. Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of the lifting device 11 with the support element 14 on the post head 12. Fig. 4 also shows the lifting device 11 in a side view. Fig. 5 shows a support segment 05a as part of the bracket support 04. Fig. 6 shows the auxiliary device 21 under the support segments 05a. DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

[0044] In the Fig. Figure 1 shows an exemplary design for a housing support in perspective. The grid-like structure with four posts 02, which are connected to each other via cross braces 03, is visible. Between each pair of opposing posts is a bracket support 04, which in this example consists of two support segments 05a, 05b. The bracket supports 04 are mounted at the opposite ends on lifting devices 11 on the posts 02.

[0045] Also visible is the arrangement of auxiliary devices 21 on a cross member 03 below the bracket supports 04.

[0046] In the Fig. 2 is supplementary to Fig. 1 shows an example of a housing support 01 with a housing 31 mounted thereon. For example, this could be a gas turbine exhaust housing.

[0047] In the Fig. 3, the lifting device 11 becomes the housing support from Fig. 1 shown in perspective.

[0048] In the Fig. 4 the lifting device 11 is shown in a side view.

[0049] The post head 12, onto which the support element 14 is mounted, can be seen in outline. The bracket support 04, i.e., a support segment 05a with its support head 06, is mounted on the support element 14.

[0050] The support element 14 has a support 16 on its upper side, which forms the connection to the screw plates 15 arranged on both sides. A lifting piston 13 is arranged centrally between the post head 12 and the support 15, by means of which the support element 14 and thus the bracket support 04 and a housing 31 mounted thereon can be lifted.

[0051] The two screwing plates 15 rest laterally on the post head 12 and are fastened in a fixed position by means of fastening screws 18.

[0052] Also visible is the arrangement of two opposing adjusting screws 19, each of which is mounted on a screwing plate and supported on the post head 12.

[0053] On the side of the support segment 05a and opposite it are mounted guide plates 17, which are supported by the screwing plates 15. The guide plates 17 also lie on the post head 12 without being directly screwed to it. In particular, the guide plates 17 secure the position in a transverse direction and thus prevent additional shear forces on the screwing of the screwing plates 15 to the post head 12.

[0054] To precisely adjust the height of a supporting housing 31, the support element 14 can be raised using the lifting piston with the fastening screws 18 loosened. Once the desired height has been reached or the support element 14 is slightly above the planned height, the adjusting screws 19 can be screwed onto the post head 12, or at a certain distance, provided the support device 14 is above the intended position. After lowering the lifting piston 13, the desired height can be achieved immediately.

[0055] It is also possible to adjust the pressure in the pistons so that the force required to lift the support element is not quite sufficient, but a small amount of the missing force can be applied via the adjusting screws 19. This also allows the intended height for the mounted housing 31 to be achieved directly and without much effort.

[0056] In the Fig. Figure 5 shows an exemplary design for a support segment 05a as part of a bracket support 04. The structure consists of two parallel support struts 07 made of flat steel, extending along the housing to be supported and vertically. A support support 08 is inserted between the support struts 07 and the housing to be supported. This support support 08 connects the two support struts 07 on the one hand and forms the base on the other. This support support 08 can also be made from flat steel by bending.

[0057] At the upper end is the support head 06, which is mounted on the support 16 of the support element 14. At the opposite end is a coupling plate 09, with the opposing coupling plates 09 being screwed together to form the bracket support 04.

[0058] To this end, the Fig.6 an auxiliary device 21, which is arranged centrally under the bracket support at the joint of the two coupling plates 09. In this example, the auxiliary devices comprise two lifting pistons 22, which are intended to lift the support segments 05a, 05b at the ends before screwing them to the coupling plates 09 in order to connect them 09 to one another.
