Description

[0001] The "Rast-In" system allows for easy and flexible installation and removal of panniers, dry bags, water bottle cages, and other accessories on the bike. Only the mounting bolt is permanently attached to the bike, allowing for flexible accessory selection. The accessories can be attached anywhere on the bike with two or three mounting bolts. Bags with straps or Velcro fasteners are also compatible. The system makes cleaning the bike easier and allows water bottles to be transferred to other bikes, reducing the number of water bottle cages required.

Claims

[1] The invention includes two different bicycle mounts: Holder (1): Designed for smaller bags or items. Holder (2): Designed for larger, heavier bags or items. Both brackets use a common fastening system consisting of frame retaining bolts (3): These are used to attach the brackets to the bicycle frame or fork. Locking pins (4): Secure the brackets in position. Height-adjustable foot (5): Available only with holder (2), allows for precise alignment and fastening of the objects to be transported. [2] Fastening system according to claim 1 Fig. 1 shows the holder (1) with two frame retaining bolts (3). The frame retaining bolts (3) are firmly attached to the bicycle frame or fork. The mount (1) is secured by a locking bolt (4). Fig. 2 shows the attachment or removal of the holder (1). The mount (1) can only be attached or removed at an angle between 30° and 40°. The fork opening of the mount (1) is pushed onto the frame retaining pin (3) opposite the locking pin (4) before it can be brought into a final, straight position. When the mount is attached, the locking pin (4) automatically engages a hole in the frame retaining pin (3) and secures the mount (1). When removing the holder (1), the locking bolt (4) must be pulled. [3] Fastening system according to claim 2 Fig. 3 shows the holder (2) with three frame retaining bolts (3). The frame retaining bolts (3) are firmly attached to the bicycle fork. The holder (2) is secured by a locking bolt (4). Fig. 4 shows the attachment or removal of the holder (2). The mount (2) can only be attached or removed at an angle between 30° and 40°. The fork opening of the mount (2) is pushed onto the frame retaining pin (3) opposite the locking pin (4) before it can be brought into its final, straight position. When the mount is attached, the locking pin (4) automatically engages a hole in the frame retaining pin (3) and secures the mount (2). When removing the holder (2) the locking bolt (4) must be pulled. The mount (2) features a height-adjustable foot (5) that can be adjusted using an M5 countersunk screw. Additional accessories can be attached to the mount (2) using Velcro or straps.
