Description

The present invention relates to a roll of cover film for paint booths and the like, to a kit with this roll, to a booth with a plurality of these kits. The invention is designed in particular for vehicle painting booths; however, other uses are not to be ruled out if the walls of a booth have to be protected from contact with certain substances.PRIOR ARTIn the field of vehicle painting booths, such as paint ovens, it is known to coat the walls of the booth with a cover film and thus to protect them from paint. The foil is usually made of electrostatic material, i.e. it can adhere to the walls of the cabin. In the known technique, the film is supplied in rolls where it is folded over on itself several times with fold lines running orthogonally to the winding axis of the roll, as can be seen in Fig. 1.This role is impractical to handle and therefore requires at least two persons to mount. In a first step, one person rolls the roll in the horizontal direction, while the other person holds the film. It must then be uniformly applied to the walls. This means that the two operators must adjust to attach the top edge of the film to the W walls of the cabin by means of adhesive tapes. The film must also be unfolded and, since it is folded over several times on itself, however, it inevitably enters a chaotic state due to the electrostatic effect of the superposed layers. Two persons will therefore take much time and lending to properly cover the walls of the cabin, as illustrated in Figure 2.Further disadvantages of the prior art are associated with the fact that if one wants to replace only part of the cover of the walls of the cabin, this is not possible. It is indeed necessary to replace the entire film. This not only makes the known system impractical, but also quite expensive. The purpose of the present invention is to overcome some of the problems of the prior art completely.A preferred purpose of the present invention is to make the lining of the walls of a cabin with an electrostatic cover sheet more practical and quick.Another purpose of the present invention is to allow the easy covering of the walls of a cabin by using a single person.Another purpose of the present invention is that only a part or a few parts of the cover of a cabin can be replaced as needed.Another object of the present invention is to provide a system for covering cabins which is simple to implement.Another object of the present invention is to provide an economical cabin cover system.GENERAL INTRODUCTIONThe technical problems are solved by a roll of cover film for cabins, a kit with this roll, a cabin with a plurality of these kits, according to the appended claims.DETAILED DESCRIPTIONOther features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments thereof, which is taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and is given by way of illustration only and not by way of limitation. In such drawings:FIGS. 1 and 2 schematically illustrate the known technique;FIG. 3 schematically illustrates a painting booth on the walls of which are mounted a series of kits according to the present invention, where the rolls are oriented with the unwinding direction downwards; the figure illustrates the foils of the various rolls with folded wings;FIG. 4 is similar to FIG. 3, in which the foils of the various rolls are cut and their wings are unfolded so as to overlap those of the adjacent foils;FIG. 5 shows one of the kits in the configuration of FIG. 3;FIG. 6 shows one of the kits in the configuration of FIG. 4;FIG. 7 shows a roll of electrostatic foil according to the present invention compatible with the kit of the previous figures;FIG. 8 shows a section through the kit of FIG. 5 ;Figures 9 and 10 show alternative embodiments of rolls of electrostatic foil according to the present invention compatible with the kit in the previous figures. With reference to Figures 3 and 4, there is illustrated a paint booth according to the present utility model, which is identified in its entirety by the reference numeral 1.The cabin 1 comprises a space 2 defined by at least one row of vertical walls 3 adjacent to each other. On at least some of the walls 3 there is a series of kits according to the present invention, each kit being identified in its entirety by the reference numeral 5.As shown in Figures 5-6 and 8, each kit 5 comprises a roll of electrostatic foil 6 according to the present invention, each roll being identified in its entirety by the reference numeral 10.Each reel 10 is contained in an operating position in a box 15 of the respective kit, where it has an axis of winding and unwinding X which is horizontal and parallel to the wall 3 on which the kit 5 stands. The roll 10 can be freely inserted into the box 15 and removed for replacement and can be rotated about the horizontal axis X during unwinding. The box 15 comprises an outlet opening 16, e.g. a horizontal notch, configured such that the film 6 can exit from the roll 10 during unwinding.Preferably, the kit comprises a braking device 20 for braking the unwinding of the roll 10, e.g. to prevent unintentional unwinding. Preferably, the braking device comprises a coupling element 21 movably fixed to the box 15 and urging means 22 for urging the coupling element towards the roller 10, preferably orthogonal to the axis of rotation X. The urging means are, for example, elastic means, such as a spring, interposed between the coupling element 21 and the box 15.The box 15 preferably has a removable or raisable cover 16 to facilitate the replacement of the reel 10. For example, the cover 16 rotates about an axis X1 parallel to the axis X of the roller 10 when the latter is in the operating position in the box 15.The axis of rotation of the lid 16 is defined, for example, by one or more hinges 17.Referring to Fig. 7, the film 6 is a tape which is wound into a roll 10.The film 6, in the configuration wound onto the reel 10, has a length L in the direction of the axis X that is less than or equal to 200 cm, i.e. L≤200 cm.Preferably, different sizes of rollers are possible.L is, for example, in at least one of the following intervals: [25-50] cm, [75-100] cm, [125-150] cm, [175-200] cm.Preferably, L belongs to at least one of the following intervals:- [40-50 [cm- [90-100 [cm- [140-150 [cm- [190-200 [cmThe sizes of the boxes 15 correspond to the sizes of the rollers 10, that is to say they are so large that they can accommodate them, for example with respect to their length R which is R>L and preferably R≤(L+10cm).The film 6 is preferably wound on the roll 10, at least one edge perpendicular to the winding axis X being folded over to form a flap 30 so as to have, in the deployed state, a length Lmaxthat is greater than the length L in the wound configuration (FIG. 6 ).Figure 6 shows the case that the film 6 has two wings 30, one for each edge orthogonal to the axis X.In this case, the wings in the folded configuration are preferably spaced apart from each other in the direction of the axis X, i.e. they do not overlap to facilitate their later unfolding. The wings 30 have a length H in the direction parallel to the axis X which is smaller than the length L of the wound film. For example, H preferably belongs to the interval [1-20] cm, more preferably to the interval [1-15], and even more preferably to the interval [1-10] cm.The film 6 is preferably a constant L ribbon. More preferably, the ribbon has a constant Lmax, e.g., a rectangular shape in its entirety. Preferably, the band has wings of constant H.Preferably, the film 6 in the wound configuration has an inner inner main surface 7 facing the axis X and an outer main surface 8 opposite the previous one.The wings 30 are preferably folded over to lie on the inner surface in the wound configuration. In the kit 5, the rollers 10 are housed so that the outer surface 8 faces towards the wall 3 when unwinding, which facilitates and makes more practical the unfolding of the wings 30.As shown in Figures 3 and 4, in use the boxes 15 are mounted on the walls 3 of the cabin 1 side by side, preferably at the same height, at a distance from each other which allows the wings 30 to overlap during unfolding. The film 6 is unrolled by being pulled down and then cut along a cut line T.The foil adheres to the walls 3 in this configuration because it is electrostatic. The distance between one sheet and the next is compensated for by the deployment of the wings 30 which at least partially overlap each other.Since the length of the walls of the cabins is generally equal to a multiple of one meter or half a meter, thanks to the intended sizes of the wound film, it is possible to configure the rolls 10 and position them along the walls 3 so as to cover the latter and create a uniform cover. FIG. 3 shows the example in which the kits are arranged one behind the other in the horizontal direction. The length R of a kit added with its distance D to one of the adjacent kit 5, for example, is equal to one of 50, 100, 150, 200 cm.In the example illustrated, the rollers 10 and hence the associated boxes are all of the same size, but it is not excluded that rollers (10) and respective boxes 15 of different size are used in the same cabin. If it is then desired to replace only a part of the cover, it is sufficient to renew the film 6 which corresponds to one or some of the kits 5.Referring to Figures 9 and 10, there are shown two variants of roller, designated 110 and 210, which differ from roller 10 only by wings 30. In particular, roller 110 includes only one vane 30, while roller 210 does not include any vanes. In both cases, the length L of the film in the wound configuration corresponds to the above-mentioned conditions relating to the length L.In this way, these two rollers are compatible with the boxes 15 and more generally with the kits 5 and can also be used as a replacement part.We indicate that the boxes 15 preferably comprise means for attachment 40 to the walls of the cabins, configured for example for at least one of the following fastenings: by screwing, dowelling, snapping, gluing, etc. However, boxes 15 directly integrated in the walls 3 of the cabin are also not excluded.GENERAL INTERPRETATION OF TERMSIn understanding the purpose of the present invention or the utility model, the term "comprising" and derivatives thereof, as used herein, are to be understood as open ended terms that specify that stated features, elements, components, groups, integers, and / or phases are present, but do not preclude the presence of other, unspecified features, elements, components, groups, integers, and / or phases.
