Temporary clothing tattoo

Abstract

A piece of clothing, in particular a T-shirt, comprising a textile material, characterized in that a temporary tattoo can be applied thereto, which adheres by means of water and pressure, can be fixed by applying a mixture of approximately equal parts of flour and baby powder, and can be removed without residue by the action of heat, in particular by a household hairdryer.

Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a garment, in particular a T-shirt, with a temporarily changeable design and a method for temporarily applying and removing a design on the garment.

[0002] T-shirts with permanently applied designs, such as those made using textile printing or transfer foil, are well known in the art. These designs cannot be changed, wear out over time, or no longer suit the wearer's taste after a certain period. Styles change frequently, especially among young adults, leading to premature discontinuation of the garments.

[0003] The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a reusable garment whose design can be temporarily changed easily, inexpensively and without leaving residue - without the need for special machines or specialist knowledge.

[0004] This task is solved by a garment made of 100% cotton, onto which commercially available water-based tattoos can be applied. The tattoos are applied to the fabric using water and light pressure. After the design dries, it is fixed with baby powder, which increases its durability. The applied designs typically last for about a week.

[0005] To remove the tattoo, heat it with a household hairdryer and peel it off the fabric without leaving any residue. The garment is then ready for a new design.

[1] Item of clothing, in particular a T-shirt, comprising a textile material, characterized by that a temporary tattoo can be applied to it, which adheres by means of water and pressure, can be fixed by applying a mixture of approximately equal parts of flour and baby powder and can be removed without residue by the application of heat, in particular by a household hairdryer. [2] Garment according to claim 1, characterized by that the tattoo is a standard water tattoo intended for application on human skin. [3] A garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the tattoo can be individually designed and selected by the user. [4] A garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the textile material is made of 100% cotton or a cotton blend.
