Description

Technical field:

[0001] The invention relates to a device for comfortably stabilizing the head while sitting, especially when traveling, in which commercially available neck pillows are incorporated into a flexible insert net (1) with a strap system (2). State of the art:

[0002] Neck pillows are widely used, but often do not provide sufficient stabilization, causing the head to tilt to the side or the sleeping position to remain uncontrollable. Devices with integrated supports or pillows with rigid structures are frequently expensive, bulky, or inflexible in use. Purpose of the invention:

[0003] The task is to provide a lightweight, cost-effective and flexible device that can efficiently stabilize commercially available neck pillows - without the need for additional rigid elements.

[0004] The design should be universally applicable and transportable in a space-saving manner. Solution:

[0005] The invention consists of a flexible insert net (1) for receiving a commercially available neck pillow and length-adjustable Velcro straps of the belt system (2) attached thereto.

[0006] These straps can be secured under the opposite forearm, leg, or optionally with the airplane seatbelt. The tension of the straps keeps the neck pillow in a stable position – the head remains supported without any bothersome straps crossing the face. Special advantages: No modification or alteration to the neck pillow is necessary. Extremely lightweight (a few grams) Small pack size No hard or disruptive materials Universally compatible with most neck pillows Various carrying and fixing options (e.g., forearm, leg, seat belt) Reference symbol list 1 Flexible insert net for neck pillows 2 Velcro straps / strap system
