Description

[0001] Headlights on bicycles are usually mounted on the handlebars or fork. However, this is not possible on many bicycles, either because the fork is not designed accordingly or the handlebars are unsuitable for the standard mounts used for battery-powered headlights due to their cross-section.

[0002] Furthermore, the handlebars are often already occupied by other attachments, so there is no room left for a headlight bracket.

[0003] The invention aims to provide a way to mount a headlight at a different location on the bicycle handlebars. The handlebar end is suitable for this purpose if a suitable bracket can be attached there that does not require any additional space on the handlebars. According to the invention, a bracket that can be mounted in the handlebar end is provided.

[0004] It is advantageous to use a headlight that has its own bracket designed for mounting on the lower handlebars. The handlebar end bracket according to the invention can be adapted to this bracket. However, connections that can accommodate the conventional headlight bracket are also conceivable.

[0005] An example of a headlight bracket according to the invention is shown in Fig. Figure 1 shows an internal clamping mechanism (1), a rotary adjustment (2) and a swivel adjustment (3).
