Abstract
Hypergolic two-component system for space propulsion, comprising an oxidizer and a fuel which are provided separately and are brought into contact with each other in a thruster to react, wherein the oxidizer comprises hydrogen peroxide, characterized in that the fuel is a multi-component mixture comprising ammonium thiocyanate, a molecular liquid and an ionic liquid comprising a thiocyanate anion and one or more cations.
