AI Technical Summary
Existing air-conditioning systems for masonry, particularly concrete ceilings, floors, or walls, face challenges in maintaining a defined heat-exchanger-free mounting region around installation boxes until the concrete has cured, making it difficult to correct the position of heat exchanger tubes after initial installation.
The introduction of a spacer, which is positioned to maintain a heat-exchanger-free mounting region around the installation box, prevents heat exchanger tubes from entering this area. The spacer is connected to the installation box via fastening means, ensuring the mutual distance is fixed until the masonry is cast.
This solution allows for flexible positioning of heat exchanger tubes until shortly before casting, ensuring a defined heat-exchanger-free region around the installation box, which is essential for safe assembly and drilling operations.

Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a device for air conditioning a room for masonry to be cast, in particular ceilings, floors or walls made of concrete, comprising at least one heat exchanger assigned to a room surface and arranged on a formwork surface, through which a tempering fluid can flow, and at least one installation box assigned to the room surface and accessible via the room surface.
[0002] In connection with the air conditioning of rooms using surface heating or cooling systems, various support elements, in particular support rails, are known for the pipes carrying the heat transfer fluid. The support elements, including the pipes, are embedded in a hardening concrete casting compound. For example, EP 2679923 B1 discloses support rails comprising two longitudinal profiles running parallel and spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the rail, which together form several upwardly open pipe receptacles extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail. Installation boxes are often also cast in today's system, which are connected to distributors, for example, via dummy pipes or pre-equipped pipes. To ensure that a defined safety zone remains free around the installation boxes in order to carry out any assembly work in this area and to drill holes, the heat exchanger tubes or the holding elements must be fixed to the formwork, in particular nailed, before the concrete is poured. The holding rails, together with the pipes, are embedded in a hardening concrete casting compound on site at a construction site. The holding rails are usually nailed to a formwork panel beforehand. The disadvantage of this, however, is the fact that it is almost impossible to subsequently correct the position of the heat exchanger tubes. The aim is to have the heat exchanger tubes laid in a floating manner, which will allow position adjustments right up until shortly before pouring.
[0003] A method and marker points for marking and locating a measuring point in a poured concrete slab, whereby the formwork for the concrete slab is provided with a marker for the measuring point depicted on the formwork before the concrete slab is poured, is known from AT 515068 A1. This ensures that, in concrete slabs equipped with pipes, holes are subsequently drilled into the slab only at locations marked with measuring points, i.e., at locations in the vicinity of which there are no pipes that would be at risk of being drilled into.In order to be able to detect the marking bodies in a simple manner without impairing the plaster layer applied to the underside of the concrete ceiling, it was proposed that a marking ring made of a magnetic material be detachably fastened to the formwork concentrically to the measuring point and that in order to locate the marking ring remaining in the concrete ceiling after demolding and covered by a plaster layer, a freely movable magnetic or ferromagnetic locating ring be moved along the plaster layer and attracted to the plaster layer coaxially to the marking ring via the magnetic field of the locating ring and / or the marking ring.
[0004] The invention is based on the object of designing a device for air conditioning a room of the type described above in such a way that, when the heat exchanger tubes are mounted floating on a formwork, it is nevertheless ensured that a defined heat exchanger-free installation area around the installation box can be maintained until the casting compound has hardened.
[0005] The invention achieves this objective by providing a spacer, which is also associated with the room surface, to keep a heat exchanger-free installation area surrounding the installation box clear. The spacer prevents the heat exchanger tubes from penetrating the heat exchanger-free installation area. If, for example, the heat exchanger tubes are carelessly moved towards the installation area on a construction site, the spacer surrounding the installation box prevents the heat exchanger tubes from penetrating the installation area by acting as a stop for the pipes. In a simple case, the spacer can be connected to the respective installation box directly or indirectly via formwork. The room surface can lie in the same plane as the formwork surface, for example, when manufacturing a cooling ceiling. When constructing underfloor heating, the formwork surface will be below the room surface, which is usually created with the casting. It is advantageous if the spacers and heat exchanger tubes have different colors, which also makes it easier to check that fixture parts of different colors do not overlap or cross each other before casting.
[0006] Particularly flexible construction conditions arise when fastening elements are provided that are designed in such a way that the mutual distance between the installation box and the associated spacer on the formwork surface is determined by the fastening elements, at least until the masonry is poured. The fastening elements can be nails that secure the spacer to the formwork.
[0007] The heat exchanger can be formed by pipe sections, the mutual spacing of which is determined by means of holding elements, in particular holding rails, whereby the holding elements rest loosely on the formwork surface at least until the masonry is poured or can also be fastened to the formwork by means of fastening means.
[0008] In a simple case, the spacer can comprise an annular profile, in particular an annular pipe, which can be quickly fabricated on site by a technician from a single piece of pipe. The spacer can be inserted into at least two, preferably at least three, retaining element parts distributed around the circumference of the ring. For this purpose, appropriately cut, i.e., shortened, sections of the retaining elements can be used on site.
[0009] The retaining element parts are fixed to the formwork surface with fastening means, in particular nails, for which the nails are driven into the formwork.
[0010] The holding elements and holding element parts comprise at least one longitudinal profile extending in a longitudinal direction, wherein the longitudinal profile has at least one pipe receptacle extending transversely to the longitudinal direction, and wherein the holding element parts have fastening means receptacles extending in particular transversely to the formwork surface, thus ensuring a secure connection between the spacer and the formwork.
[0011] The drawing shows an example of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 a plan view of a device for air conditioning a room before casting with a casting compound and Fig. 2 the device from Fig. 1 in section along line II-II on an enlarged scale.
[0012] The device for air conditioning a room for masonry 1 to be cast, in particular ceilings, floors or walls cast from concrete, comprises at least one heat exchanger 4 assigned to a room surface 2 and arranged on a formwork surface 3, through which a temperature control fluid can flow, and at least one installation box 5 assigned to the room surface 2 and accessible via the room surface 2. In order to keep a heat exchanger-free assembly area comprising the installation box 5 clear, a spacer 6 is also provided, which is also assigned to the room surface 2.
[0013] In addition, fastening means 7 are provided, which are designed such that the mutual distance between the installation box 5 and the associated spacer 6 on the formwork surface 3 is determined by the fastening means 7, at least until the pouring of a masonry 1. In a simple case, the fastening means 7 are nails driven into the formwork.
[0014] The heat exchanger 4 is formed by pipe sections whose mutual spacing is determined by retaining elements 8. The retaining elements 8 rest loosely on the formwork surface 3, at least until the masonry is poured. The retaining elements 8 are profile slides into which several pipe sections can be securely inserted next to one another. The pipes can be connected in parallel, or a pipe coil is provided, as is common when installing underfloor heating or ceiling cooling systems, for example.
[0015] The spacer 6 preferably comprises an annular profile, in particular an annular pipe, which is closed, for example, in the region of the annular gap with a suitable fitting. The spacer 6 is in particular inserted into at least three retaining element parts 9 arranged distributed over the circumference of the ring. The retaining element parts 9 are secured to the formwork surface 3 with fastening means 7, in particular nails.
[0016] The holding elements 8 and holding element parts 9 each comprise at least one longitudinal profile extending in a longitudinal direction 10, wherein the longitudinal profile has at least one pipe receptacle 11 extending transversely to the longitudinal direction 10. The holding element parts 9 have fastening means receptacles extending transversely to the formwork surface 3. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
