Description

Technical area

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of photographic cameras and in particular to a support tripod. Background technology

[0002] In the field of photographic equipment, a tripod mainly consists of a central base and three legs fixed to the outer perimeter of the base. The upper part of the base is provided with an external assembly, and the monopod is attached to the external assembly. The lower end of the external assembly is connected to a ball, which is rotatably mounted in the installation cavity inside the base. The base is also provided with a locking mechanism for locking the ball into the base. The outer side of the base is equipped with a foot pedal for driving the movement of the locking mechanism.

[0003] After the operator completes the photography operation with the tripod and monopod on it, the monopod usually needs to be kept in an upright position to prevent the monopod and the photography equipment on it from falling. The conventional operation method is as follows: first place the monopod in a vertical state and then squat down to control the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism locks the ball to ensure that the monopod does not fall. This conventional operation method requires the operator to squat down to control the locking mechanism. This is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but can also easily cause the ball to rotate when the conventional locking mechanism locks the ball, causing the monopod to deviate from the vertical direction. It is often necessary to operate the locking mechanism several times to repeat the locking and unlocking operations and keep the monopod in an upright state, which is laborious to use. Description of the invention

[0004] Therefore, the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome the disadvantage of the prior art, which is that the locking operation of the ball on the tripod is cumbersome, and thus to provide a support tripod.

[0005] In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problems, the technical solution of the present invention is as follows: A support stand comprising a stand body provided with a rotational cavity at the upper end, a ball confined to a spherical surface formed by the rotational cavity and rotatable relative to the rotational cavity, and a ball pivot locking mechanism provided in the stand body and used to lock or unlock the ball; wherein the ball pivot locking mechanism comprises: a locking unit that slidably cooperates with the tripod body; an elastic return element elastically arranged between the locking assembly and the tripod body; a limit assembly attached to the tripod body, the limit assembly being provided with a movable pin that cooperates with the locking assembly (4); wherein the locking assembly, when sliding under an external force, can move the movable pin relative to the locking assembly and position it in the locking locking position or unlocking locking position on the locking assembly; wherein the locking assembly bears against the ball in the locking locking position to limit the axial oscillation of the ball relative to the tripod body; and the locking assembly releases the ball in the unlocking locking position to allow the axial oscillation of the ball relative to the tripod body.

[0006] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, the locking assembly is pressed down and then released when it is necessary to lock the ball onto the tripod, so that the ball and its associated external components remain stable. The movable pin moves relative to the locking assembly and is positioned at the locking position of the locking assembly. At this time, the locking assembly rests against the ball, preventing the ball from swinging relative to the axis of the tripod body.Since the size of the elastic return element can be designed relatively large, the locking force exerted by the locking assembly on the ball under the action of the elastic return element is also relatively large, and the locking effect of the ball is also relatively good. When it is necessary to make the ball swing relative to the axis of the tripod body, press the locking assembly again and then release it. The movable pin moves relative to the locking assembly and is positioned in the unlocking locking position of the locking assembly, and the ball can swing relative to the axis of the tripod body, making the ball locking and unlocking of the support tripod very simple and straightforward.

[0007] Furthermore, the downward sliding of the locking assembly under the action of an external force can cause the movable pin to move relative to the locking assembly alternately into a first movable position and a second movable position on the locking assembly; wherein the locking assembly, under the action of the elastic return element, can move the movable pin from the first movable position to the locking position or from the second movable position to the unlocking locking position.

[0008] Furthermore, the limit assembly is axially fixed relative to the tripod body and rotatably arranged relative to the circumferential direction, and the movable pin is movably coupled to the outer circumference of the limit assembly along the radial direction of the limit assembly.

[0009] Furthermore, an elastic limiting member is provided between the limiting assembly and the movable pin, the elastic limiting member being used to drive one end of the movable pin to extend radially outward from the outer wall surface of the limiting assembly along the limiting assembly, and the locking assembly is provided with a guide groove on its inner wall surface, one end of the movable pin extending outside the limiting assembly protruding into the guide groove.

[0010] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, the locking assembly can cause the limit assembly to rotate around its own axis via the movable pin, and at the same time, the movable pin can move along the radial direction of the limit assembly. This arrangement allows the movable pin to lock the locking assembly in the locking position or the unlocking position. In addition, the guide groove on the inner wall of the locking assembly can restrict the movement direction of the movable pin, allowing the movable pin to slide from the first movable position to the locking locking position and from the second movable position to the unlocking locking position. This allows the locking assembly to be released after a single push, allowing the ball to swing freely. When the locking assembly is pressed down and released again, the ball can only be in a vertical state and cannot swing freely. This easy-to-use function has a simple structure and is easy to implement.

[0011] In addition, the locking locking position, the unlocking locking position, the first movable position, and the second movable position are located at different positions in the guide groove; wherein, in the axial direction of the locking assembly, the distance between the locking locking position and the ball is greater than the distance between the first movable position and the ball, the distance between the unlocking locking position and the ball is greater than the distance between the second movable position and the ball, and the distance between the locking locking position and the ball is greater than the distance between the unlocking locking position and the ball; wherein, when the movable pin is in the locking locking position and the locking assembly is not subjected to a downward force, the movable pin and the locking assembly abut each other along the axial direction of the locking assembly to limit the movement of the movable pin from the locking locking position to the first movable position; wherein, when the movable pin is in the locking locking position and the locking assembly is subjected to a downward compressive force, the movable pin is moved from the locking locking position to the second movable position, the movable pin abutting against the locking assembly to limit the path of a first downward compressive movement of the locking assembly; wherein, when the movable pin is in the second movable position and the downward compressive force on the locking assembly disappears, the locking assembly moves upward under the elastic restoring force of the elastic restoring member, the movable pin moves from the second movable position to the unlocking locking position, the movable pin and the locking assembly abut axially along the locking assembly to limit the movement of the movable pin from the unlocking locking position to the second movable position; wherein, when the movable pin is in the unlocking locking position and the locking assembly is subjected to a downward compressive force, the movable pin is moved from the unlocking locking position to the first movable position, the movable pin abutting the locking assembly to limit the travel of a second downward compressive movement of the locking assembly.

[0012] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution and arranging the locking locking position, the unlocking locking position, the first movable position and the second movable position on the guide groove, the locking assembly can be locked in the locking locking position and the unlocking locking position, and the locking assembly can automatically move from the first movable position to the locking locking position and from the second movable position to the unlocking locking position under the action of the elastic return element.

[0013] Furthermore, the guide groove includes a first strip groove, a second strip groove, a first spiral groove, and a second spiral groove, wherein the longitudinal direction of the first rod-shaped groove and the second rod-shaped groove are both parallel to the axial direction of the stand body, wherein both ends of the first spiral groove are connected to the first strip groove and the second strip groove, respectively, and both ends of the second spiral groove are connected to the first strip groove and the second strip groove, respectively.

[0014] By adopting the above technical solution, the guide groove consisting of the first strip groove, the second strip groove, the first spiral groove and the second spiral groove has a simple structure and is easy to implement.

[0015] Furthermore, the depth of the groove at one end of the first spiral groove connected to the first strip groove is greater than the groove depth of the first strip groove so that the movable pin can slide along the first spiral groove to the second strip groove; wherein the second spiral groove has a groove depth greater than the groove depth of the second groove at the end connected to the second groove so that the movable pin can slide along the second spiral groove to the first strip groove.

[0016] Furthermore, the first movable position and the locking locking position are arranged at opposite ends of the first strip groove and the second movable position and the unlocking locking position are arranged at opposite ends of the second strip groove.

[0017] By adopting the above technical solution, when the external assembly on the support stand is in a vertical state, the movable pin is located at the junction between the first spiral groove and the first strip groove, and the locking assembly is pressed down. During the downward movement of the locking assembly, the movable pin can only move along the first spiral groove because the groove depth at the end connecting the first spiral groove and the first strip groove is greater than the groove depth of the first strip groove. Under the action of the chute force, the limiting assembly rotates. At this time, the movable pin moves to the end where the first spiral groove and the second strip groove are connected, and then the movable pin moves to the upper end of the second strip groove. At this point, the locking assembly can no longer be pushed down; release the locking assembly, and the locking assembly moves to the lower end of the second strip groove under the action of the elastic return element and is locked by the movable pin. At this point, the locking protrusion is separated from the ball, the ball is in an unlocked state, and the ball can swing freely in the rotation cavity. The locking assembly is pushed down again, and since the groove depth at the end connecting the second spiral groove and the second strip groove is greater than the groove depth of the second strip groove, the movable pin can only move along the second spiral groove during the downward movement of the locking assembly. Under the action of the chute force, the limit assembly rotates. At this point, the movable pin reaches the top of the first strip groove, and the locking assembly can no longer be pushed down. Therefore, release the locking assembly. Under the action of the elastic return element, the locking assembly moves to the bottom of the first strip groove and is locked by the movable pin. At this point, the locking assembly moves closer to the ball until the locking protrusion enters the ball insertion hole, locking the ball and holding the ball upright.

[0018] Furthermore, the first strip groove, the first spiral groove, the second strip groove and the second spiral groove are sequentially arranged along the circumferential direction of the inner wall surface of the locking assembly; wherein the first strip groove and the second spiral groove, when the number of guide grooves is a group, are connected to each other at the beginning and the end, and the guide grooves are connected along the circumferential direction of the inner wall surface of the locking assembly; wherein the plurality of guide groove groups, when the number of guide grooves is a plurality of groups, are evenly arranged in a circumferential direction along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly; wherein the first strip groove of a former group of guide grooves and the second spiral groove of a latter group of guide grooves are connected, and the plurality of guide groove groups extend along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly in a circumferential direction along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly; wherein the movable pin can slide alternately in a plurality of guide grooves.

[0019] Furthermore, the locking assembly comprises an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve arranged coaxially with the tripod body, wherein the outer sleeve slidably cooperates with the tripod body and the inner sleeve is fixed to the inner side of the outer sleeve; wherein the guide grooves are provided on the inner wall side of the inner sleeve.

[0020] By adopting the above technical solution, the locking assembly is manufactured separately from the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve and then assembled, which makes the processing of the locking assembly more convenient.

[0021] In addition, the inner sleeve consists of a large number of circular arc pieces that are connected to each other at the beginning and end.

[0022] By adopting the above technical solution, the inner sleeve consists of several arc-shaped pieces spliced together, which reduces the difficulty of processing the above-mentioned guide groove in the inner sleeve.

[0023] In addition, the end of the inner sleeve is provided with several positioning pins, and the outer sleeve is provided with positioning holes that cooperate with the several positioning pins.

[0024] In addition, the mating surface between the outer sleeve and the tripod body has a specially shaped cross-section.

[0025] By adopting the above technical solution, the mating surface between the outer sleeve and the tripod body has a specially shaped cross-section, and the relative circumferential fixation of the locking assembly and the tripod body can be easily achieved.

[0026] In addition, the outer sleeve is provided with a plurality of notched grooves on the outer peripheral wall, with the grooves of the notched grooves directed rearward toward the ball.

[0027] By adopting the above technical solution, the structural strength of the outer peripheral wall of the outer sleeve can be reduced by the arrangement of the notch groove on the outer sleeve, and the outer sleeve is prone to slight deformation, thereby facilitating the assembly of the outer sleeve into the tripod body.

[0028] In addition, a receiving cavity is formed between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve, wherein the elastic return element is at least partially accommodated in the receiving cavity.

[0029] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, the elastic return element is arranged in the receiving cavity between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve. The receiving cavity can limit the position of the elastic return element, and the large outer diameter of the receiving cavity is very close to the outer diameter of the tripod body. Therefore, an elastic return element with a large outer diameter and strong elasticity can be provided in the tripod body to further improve the locking effect of the locking assembly on the ball under the action of the elastic return element.

[0030] In addition, a plurality of movable pins are evenly arranged along the circumferential direction of the limit assembly, and the number of movable pins is less than or equal to the number of guide grooves.

[0031] By adopting the above technical solution and arranging multiple movable pins, the reliability of the entire ball pivot locking mechanism can be improved.

[0032] Furthermore, the tripod body is fixed internally with a limiting shaft provided coaxially with the tripod body, wherein the limiting assembly is rotatably connected to the limiting shaft about the axis of the limiting shaft, wherein the limiting shaft is provided with a limiting step that blocks one side of the limiting assembly facing away from the tripod body.

[0033] By adopting the above technical solution, the arrangement of the limit shaft and the limit step on it can improve the stability of the limit assembly during rotation, so that the limit assembly rotates around the axial direction of the limit shaft without being prone to vertical deviations.

[0034] Furthermore, the limiting assembly includes an inner sleeve rotatably connected to the outer periphery of the limiting shaft, and an outer sleeve fitted and fixed on the outer periphery of the inner sleeve; the outer periphery of the inner sleeve is provided with a mounting hole, and the outer periphery of the outer sleeve is provided with a through hole corresponding to the position of the mounting hole; the elastic limiting member is arranged in the mounting hole, one end of the movable pin is located in the mounting hole, and the other end can extend out of the through hole.

[0035] In addition, the locking assembly is provided with a central shaft hole in the middle, wherein the shaft hole slidably cooperates with the limit shaft in the axial direction of the limit shaft.

[0036] By adopting the above technical solution, the central shaft hole of the locking assembly and the limit shaft slide in the axial direction, and the limit shaft plays a guiding role in the sliding movement of the locking assembly, which is beneficial to ensuring the precise sliding of the locking assembly along the axial direction of the limit shaft, whereby the locking projection of the locking assembly can accurately bring the ball into a vertical state and avoid the problem of deviation of the moving direction of the locking assembly, which would cause the ball to be displaced when locking.

[0037] Furthermore, the ball is provided with an insertion hole toward the locking assembly, one end of the locking assembly being provided with a locking projection toward the ball, the locking projection extending into the insertion hole to limit the rotation of the ball relative to the rotation cavity.

[0038] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, when the support rod is connected to the external assembly of the support stand, if you want to keep the support rod stable and vertical for an extended period, you only need to press the locking assembly and then release it. The locking assembly moves from the first movable position to the locking position under the action of the elastic return element. At this time, the locking protrusion of the locking assembly extends into the slot in the ball, and the locking protrusion presses against the ball from the inside out, preventing the ball from swinging relative to the axis of the tripod body. This way of locking the ball by clamping the ball from the inside out by the locking protrusion not only has a very good locking effect on the ball, but also, because the locking protrusion together with the locking assembly can only slide into the slot in the ball from the bottom up, the locking protrusion automatically drives the ball into rotation before the locking assembly is locked. When the locking assembly is locked, the ball is driven by the locking protrusion to move the external assembly and the support rod mounted on it to a vertical position. After the ball is clamped, the external assembly and the support rod of the ball do not deviate from the vertical direction. The ball can be locked or released vertically in one operation, eliminating the need to repeat multiple operations to lock the ball and its external assembly and support rod in the vertical state, simplifying the process.

[0039] In addition, the locking protrusion has the shape of a round table with a small upper part and a large lower part, and the insertion hole of the ball has the shape of a cone, which has the same profile as the locking protrusion.

[0040] In addition, the upper end of the rotary cavity is provided with an upper opening, and the ball is connected to a connecting head protruding from the upper opening of the rotary cavity; and the plug is used to connect external components.

[0041] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, the outer wall surface of the truncated conical locking protrusion fits tightly against the wall of the conical hole in the ball when the locking assembly is locked, which can increase the contact area between the two in the locked state, thereby improving the locking effect. After the ball is locked, the external assembly and the support rod do not deviate from the vertical direction.

[0042] In addition, the external assembly is used to connect a support rod or monopod that connects and supports photographic equipment.

[0043] In addition, the interior of the tripod body is also provided with a sliding cavity located at the lower end, and the locking assembly is slidably disposed in the sliding cavity along the axial direction of the tripod body and fixedly disposed in a circumferential direction relative to the tripod body.

[0044] In addition, the tripod body comprises a coaxially provided body sleeve and a ball sleeve, wherein the rotation cavity is arranged in the ball sleeve and the sliding cavity is arranged in the body sleeve.

[0045] By adopting the above technical solution, the tripod body is assembled using the body sleeve and the ball sleeve, so that the corresponding parts can be manufactured and assembled separately, which can reduce the difficulty of product manufacturing and assembly.

[0046] In addition, it further comprises a pressure element; one end of the pressure element is pivotally connected to one end of the locking assembly in the direction of the ball and the other end projects outwardly from the tripod body, wherein the pressure element is used to drive the locking assembly for movement in a direction away from the ball.

[0047] Furthermore, the pressure element comprises an annular body fixedly connected between the body sleeve and the ball sleeve, the annular body being arranged between the ball and the locking assembly; the annular body being provided with a rotation axis on the side facing the ball, the pressure element further comprising a foot pedal, one end of which is rotatably connected to the rotation axis, while the other end protrudes from a lateral opening in the tripod body.

[0048] By adopting the above-mentioned technical solution, the pressure element, consisting of a ring-shaped body and a rotating foot pedal, has a simple structure, is easy to assemble and manufacture, and the foot pedal is easy to step on. When locking or unlocking the ball, the operator does not need to squat, making operation more comfortable.

[0049] In addition, the locking assembly can pass through the center hole of the annular body, and the foot pedal is provided with holes through which the locking assembly can be passed.

[0050] By adopting the above technical solution, it is convenient that the foot pedal exerts an increased compressive force on the locking assembly after being pressed down.

[0051] In addition, the ball sleeve is provided with a lower damping ring and an upper damping ring spaced from each other, the lower damping ring and the upper damping ring forming the rotation cavity, and the diameter of the center hole of the lower damping ring and the diameter of the center hole of the upper damping ring are smaller than the diameter of the center hole of the ball; the outer wall of the ball sleeve is screwed with a damping adjustment knob, the damping adjustment knob abuts the upper surface of the upper damping ring, and the damping adjustment knob is used to regulate the magnitude of the damping force exerted by the ball through the upper damping ring and the lower damping ring.

[0052] By adopting the above technical solution, the damping force exerted by the upper damping ring and the lower damping ring on the ball can be adjusted through the arrangement of the damping adjustment knob.

[0053] In addition, at least three support legs are connected to the outer circumference of the body sleeve.

[0054] In summary, the support stand provided by the present invention adopts the ball locking method with a foot pressure member. The operator only needs to step on and release the foot pedal, and the ball will automatically find the vertical direction and remain vertical without deviating from the vertical direction. When the operator needs to use it, they only need to step on and release the foot pedal again, and the ball can swing at any angle. The ball can be locked or released in the vertical direction in one operation, and there is no need to repeat multiple operations to lock the ball and the external assembly and support rod on it in the vertical state, which simplifies the operation. When the movable pin 71 is in the locking locking position 421a, the locking assembly 4 abuts the ball 2.to limit the oscillation of the ball 2 relative to the axis of the tripod body 1, and the movable pin 71 locks the locking assembly 4 in the locking locking position 421a; when the movable pin 71 is in the unlocking locking position 421b, the locking assembly 4 releases the ball 2 to allow the ball 2 to oscillate relative to the axis of the tripod body 1, and the movable pin 71 locks the locking assembly 4 in the unlocking locking position 421b; when the movable pin 71 is in the first movable position 421c, the movable pin 71 limits the locking assembly 4 in the first movable position 421c to limit the first compression stroke of the locking assembly 4; when the locking assembly 4 is in the second movable position 421d, the movable pin 71 limits the locking assembly 4 in the second movable position 421d,to limit the second compression stroke of the locking assembly 4.,

[0065] The support stand further comprises a pressure element 6, one end of the pressure element 6 being pivotally connected to one end of the locking assembly 4 in the direction toward the ball 2, and the other end projecting outwardly from the lateral opening 112 of the stand body 1; the pressure element 6 is used to drive the locking assembly 4 to move in a direction away from the ball 2.

[0066] With this support tripod, when it is necessary to lock the monopod or support rod connected to the external assembly 3 in an upright state, press the pressing member 6 downward and then release the pressing member 6. The locking assembly 4 moves from the first movable position 421c to the locking locking position 421a under the action of the elastic return member 5. At this time, the locking assembly 4 presses upward against the ball 2, and the movable pin 71 and the locking assembly 4 abut each other along the axial direction of the locking assembly 4. The ball 2 cannot swing relative to the axis of the tripod body 1, and the ball 2 is locked in a vertical state. The external assembly 3 and the monopod or support rod connected to the corresponding ball 2 are also held in a vertical state; when it is necessary to swing the ball 2 and the connected external assembly 3 along the axis of the tripod body 1, press the pressure element 6 again and then release the pressure element 6. The locking assembly 4 moves from the second movable position 421d to the unlocking locking position 421b under the action of the elastic return element 5. The locking assembly 4 releases the ball 2, and the movable pin 71 and the locking assembly 4 abut each other along the axial direction of the locking assembly 4.The ball 2 can swing freely along the axis of the tripod body 1 in the rotation cavity, and the corresponding external component 3 connected to the ball 2 and the monopod or support rod can also swing freely. Only one operation is required to lock and unlock the ball 2 on the support tripod, and the operation is very simple and easy, which can significantly improve the product competitiveness of the support tripod.

[0067] In some embodiments, the ball 2 is provided with an insertion hole 22 toward the locking assembly 4. One end of the locking assembly 4 is provided with a locking projection 411 toward the ball 2. The locking projection 411 extends into the insertion hole 22 to limit the rotation of the ball 2 relative to the rotation cavity. When the locking assembly 4 is in the locked state, the locking projection 411 of the locking assembly 4 extends into the slot in the ball 2, and the locking projection 411 fits tightly against the ball 2 from the inside out, preventing the ball 2 from rotating relative to the rotation cavity. This method of locking the ball 2 by clamping the ball 2 from the inside out by the locking projection 411 not only has a very good locking effect on the ball 2, but since the locking projection 411, together with the locking assembly 4, can only slide from bottom to top into the slot in the ball 2, the locking projection 411 also automatically drives the ball 2 into rotation before the locking assembly 4 moves to the locking position. When the locking assembly 4 is locked, the ball 2 is driven by the locking projection 411 to move the external assembly 3 and the support rod thereon to a vertical position. After the ball 2 is clamped, the external assembly 3 and the support rod of the ball 2 do not deviate from the vertical direction. The ball 2 can be locked or released vertically in one operation, and it is not necessary to repeat multiple operations to lock the ball 2 and the external assembly 3 and support rod thereon in the vertical state, which simplifies the process. In some alternative embodiments, the insertion hole 22 may not be provided in the ball 2, and the locking projection 411 may not be provided on the locking assembly 4. The locking assembly 4 directly or indirectly abuts the lower end of the ball 2 to realize the locking or unlocking of the ball 2. In some alternative embodiments, the tripod body 1 is provided with a damping seat located on the ball 2 and the locking assembly 4, and the damping seat defines a part of the outer spherical surface of the rotation cavity. The locking assembly 4 drives the damping pad to move upward and then uses the damping pad to lock the ball 2.

[0068] In some embodiments, the locking protrusion 411 has the shape of a round table with a small upper part and a large lower part, and the insertion hole 22 of the ball 2 has the shape of a cone, which has the same profile as the locking protrusion 411. When the locking assembly 4 is locked, the outer wall surface of the truncated cone-shaped locking protrusion 411 closely abuts the hole wall of the conical hole in the ball 2, which can increase the contact area between the two in the locked state, thereby improving the locking effect; after the ball 2 is locked, the external assembly 3 and the support rod on the ball 2 do not deviate from the vertical direction.

[0069] In some embodiments, the limit assembly 7 is arranged in the tripod body 1, and the locking assembly 4 is provided with a cavity inside; when the locking assembly 4 slides vertically, the limit assembly 7 can protrude into the inner cavity of the locking assembly 4. The limit assembly 7 is fixed axially relative to the tripod body 1 and arranged rotatably relative to the circumferential direction, and the movable pin 71 is movably coupled to the limit assembly 7 along the radial direction of the limit assembly 7. The movable pin 71 is used to lock the locking assembly 4 in the locking locking position 421a or the unlocking locking position 421b.When the locking assembly 4 slides downward under the action of the pressure element 6, the locking assembly 4 can drive the limiting assembly 7 to rotate about its own axis via the movable pin 71. When the locking assembly 4 springs back upward under the elastic action of the elastic return element 5, the movable pin 71 automatically remains stationary. However, the position of the movable pin 71 on the locking assembly 4 moves linearly from the first movable position 421c to the locking locking position 421a or from the second movable position 421d to the unlocking locking position 421b.In alternative embodiments, the limiting assembly 7 can also be arranged outside the locking assembly 4 or the stand body 1, provided that the limiting assembly 7 can lock the locking assembly 4 in the locking position 421a and the unlocking position 421b. Each limiting assembly 7 can be arranged at a specific position, or there can be multiple limiting assemblies 7, wherein the multiple limiting assemblies 7 lock or limit the locking assembly 4 at different positions.

[0070] In some embodiments, an elastic limiting member 74 is provided between the limiting assembly 7 and the movable pin 71. The elastic limiting member 74 is used to drive one end of the movable pin 71 to extend radially outward from the outer wall surface of the limiting assembly 7 along the limiting assembly 7. The locking assembly 4 is provided with a guide groove 421 on its inner wall surface, and one end of the movable pin 71 extending outside the limiting assembly 7 projects into the guide groove 421.The guide groove 421 on the inner wall of the locking assembly 4 can restrict the movement direction of the movable pin 71, allowing the movable pin 71 to lock the locking assembly 4 in the locking position 421a or the unlocking position 421b, and allowing the movable pin 71 to slide from the first movable position 421c to the locking position 421a and from the second movable position 421d to the unlocking position 421b, thereby simultaneously locking and unlocking the support stand. In the locked state, the ball 2 and the external assembly 3 mounted thereon are automatically in an upright position; in the unlocked state, the ball 2 and the external assembly 3 mounted thereon can swing freely.

[0071] In some embodiments, the locking locking position 421a, the unlocking locking position 421b, the first movable position 421c, and the second movable position 421d are located at different positions in the guide groove 421; in the axial direction of the locking assembly 4, the distance between the locking locking position 421a and the ball 2 is greater than the distance between the first movable position 421c and the ball 2, the distance between the unlocking locking position 421b and the ball 2 is greater than the distance between the second movable position 421d and the ball 2, and the distance between the locking locking position 421a and the ball 2 is greater than the distance between the unlocking locking position 421b and the ball 2.When the movable pin 71 is in the locking locking position 421a and the locking assembly 4 is not subjected to a downward compressive force, the movable pin 71 abuts the locking assembly 4 in the axial direction of the locking assembly 4 to limit the movement of the locking assembly 4 from the locking locking position 421a to the first movable position 421c. When the movable pin 71 is in the locking locking position 421a and the locking assembly 4 is subjected to a downward compressive force of the pressure element 6, the movable pin 71 moves from the locking locking position 421a to the second movable position 421d, in which the movable pin 71 abuts the locking assembly 4 to limit the first downward compressive movement path of the locking assembly 4.When the movable pin 71 is in the second movable position 421d and the downward pressing force by the pressing element 6 on the locking assembly 4 disappears, the locking assembly 4 moves upward under the elastic restoring force of the elastic restoring element 5, the movable pin 71 moves from the second movable position 421d to the unlocking locking position 421b, the movable pin 71 and the locking assembly 4 abut each other axially along the locking assembly 4 to limit the movement of the locking assembly 4 from the unlocking locking position 421b to the second movable position 421d.When the movable pin 71 is in the unlocking locking position 421b and the locking assembly 4 is subjected to a downward compressive force by the pressure element 6, the movable pin 71 moves from the unlocking locking position 421b to the first movable position 421c, the movable pin 71 abuts the locking assembly 4 to limit the second downward compressive travel of the locking assembly 4.

[0072] The arrangement of the locking locking position 421a, the unlocking locking position 421b, the first movable position 421c and the second movable position 421d on the guide groove 421 allows the locking assembly 4 to be locked in the locking locking position 421a and the unlocking locking position 421b, and the locking assembly 4 can automatically move from the first movable position 421c to the locking locking position 421a and from the second movable position 421d to the unlocking locking position 421b under the action of the elastic return element 5.

[0073] In some embodiments, the guide groove 421 includes a first strip groove 4211, a second strip groove 4212, a first spiral groove 4213, and a second spiral groove 4214. The longitudinal directions of the first rod-shaped groove 4211 and the second rod-shaped groove 4212 are both parallel to the axial direction of the stand body 1. Both ends of the first spiral groove 4213 are connected to the first strip groove 4211 and the second strip groove 4212, respectively, and both ends of the second spiral groove 4214 are connected to the first strip groove 4211 and the second strip groove 4212, respectively. The length of the first strip groove 4211 is greater than the length of the second strip groove 4212, and the length of the first spiral groove 4213 is greater than the length of the second spiral groove 4214.The first movable position 421c and the locking locking position 421a are located at opposite ends of the first strip groove 4211, and the second movable position 421d and the unlocking locking position 421b are located at opposite ends of the second strip groove 4212; the locking locking position 421a is located at the end where the first spiral groove 4213 communicates with the first strip groove 4211, and the unlocking locking position 421b is located at the end where the second spiral groove 4214 communicates with the second strip groove 4212. The guide groove 421, consisting of the first strip groove 4211, the second strip groove 4212, the first spiral groove 4213, and the second spiral groove 4214, has a simple structure and is easy to implement.

[0074] In some embodiments, the groove depth at one end of the first spiral groove 4213 connected to the first strip groove 4211 is greater than the groove depth of the first strip groove 4211 so that the movable pin 71 slides along the first spiral groove 4213 to the second strip groove 4212; the second spiral groove 4214 has a groove depth greater than the groove depth of the second groove 4212 at the end connected to the second groove 4212 so that the movable pin 71 can slide along the second spiral groove 4214 to the first strip groove 4211. When the external assembly 3 on the support stand is in a vertical state, the movable pin 71 is located at the junction between the first spiral groove 4213 and the first strip groove 4211. Press the pressing member 6 downward, and the pressing member 6 exerts a pressing force on the locking assembly 4, and the locking assembly 4 moves downward.During the downward movement of the locking assembly 4, the movable pin 71 can only move along the first spiral groove 4213 because the groove depth at the end connecting the first spiral groove 4213 and the first strip groove 4211 is greater than the groove depth of the first strip groove 4211. Under the action of the chute force, the limiting assembly 7 rotates. At this time, the movable pin 71 moves to the end where the first spiral groove 4213 and the second strip groove 4212 are connected, and then the movable pin 71 moves to the upper end of the second strip groove 4212. At this time, the locking assembly 4 can no longer be pressed downward; after the release of the pressing element 6, the locking assembly 4 moves to the lower end of the second strip groove 4212 under the action of the elastic return element 5 and is locked by the movable pin 71.At this time, the locking projection 411 is separated from the ball 2, the ball 2 is in an unlocked state, and the ball 2 can swing freely in the rotating cavity. The pressure element 6 is pressed down again, the pressure element 6 exerts a pressing force on the locking assembly 4, and the locking assembly 4 moves downward. Since the groove depth at the end connecting the second spiral groove 4214 and the second strip groove 4212 is greater than the groove depth of the second strip groove 4212, the movable pin 71 can only move along the second spiral groove 4214 during the downward movement. Under the action of the chute force, the limit assembly 7 rotates. At this time, the movable pin 71 reaches the upper end of the first strip groove 4211, and the locking assembly 4 can no longer be pressed down. Therefore, release the pressure element 6.The locking assembly 4 moves to the lower end of the first strip groove 4211 under the action of the elastic return member 5 and is locked by the movable pin 71. At this time, the locking assembly 4 moves closer to the ball 2 until the locking projection 411 enters the insertion hole 22 of the ball 2, thereby locking the ball 2 and maintaining the ball 2 upright.

[0075] In some embodiments, the first strip groove 4211, the first spiral groove 4213, the second strip groove 4212, and the second spiral groove 4214 are arranged sequentially along the circumferential direction of the inner wall surface of the locking assembly 4. The first strip groove 4211 and the second spiral groove 4214 are connected to each other at the beginning and end when the number of guide grooves 421 is a group, and the guide grooves 421 are connected along the circumferential direction of the inner wall surface of the locking assembly 4.In another embodiment, the number of guide grooves 421 is a plurality of groups, and the plurality of groups of guide grooves 421 are evenly arranged in a circumferential direction along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly 4; the first strip groove 4211 of an earlier group of guide grooves 421 and the second spiral groove 4214 of a later group of guide grooves 421 are connected to each other, and the plurality of groups of guide grooves 421 extend along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly 4 in a circumferential direction along the inner wall surface of the locking assembly; the movable pin 71 can slide alternately in a plurality of guide grooves 421.

[0076] In some embodiments, three movable pins 71 are evenly arranged along the circumferential direction of the limiting assembly 7, and the number of movable pins 71 is equal to the number of guide grooves 421. Arranging a plurality of movable pins 71 can improve the reliability of the entire locking mechanism. It is conceivable that the number of movable pins 71 may be smaller than the number of guide grooves 421; for example, the number of movable pins 71 may be two.

[0077] In some embodiments, the locking assembly 4 includes an outer sleeve 41 and an inner sleeve 42 arranged coaxially with the tripod body 1. The outer sleeve 41 slidably cooperates with the sliding cavity 111, and the inner sleeve 42 is fixed to the inner side of the outer sleeve 41 by a plurality of sets of locking screws; the guide grooves 421 are provided on the inner wall side of the inner sleeve 42. The end of the inner sleeve 42 is provided with a plurality of positioning pins 45, and the outer sleeve 41 is provided with positioning holes that cooperate with the plurality of positioning pins 45. The locking assembly 4 is manufactured separately from the outer sleeve 41 and the inner sleeve 42 and then assembled, which makes the processing of the locking assembly 4 more convenient.

[0078] In some embodiments, the inner sleeve 42 consists of three arcuate pieces spliced together, which reduces the difficulty of processing the above-mentioned guide groove 421 in the inner sleeve 42.

[0079] In some embodiments, the mating surface between the outer sleeve 41 and the tripod body 1 has a specially shaped cross-section; in this way, the relative circumferential fixation of the locking assembly 4 and the tripod body 1 can be easily achieved, and assembly is simple.

[0080] In some embodiments, the outer sleeve 41 is provided with three notched grooves 412 on the outer peripheral wall, wherein the three notched grooves 412 are directed rearward toward the ball 2. The structural strength of the outer sleeve 41 can be reduced by the arrangement of the notched groove 412 on the outer peripheral wall of the outer sleeve 41, and the outer sleeve 41 is susceptible to slight deformation, thereby facilitating the assembly of the outer sleeve 41 into the sliding cavity 111 of the tripod body 1.

[0081] In some embodiments, a receiving cavity 43 is formed between the outer sleeve 41 and the inner sleeve 42, and the elastic return element 5 is at least partially housed in the receiving cavity 43. Such an arrangement allows the locking assembly 4 to confine the elastic return element 5 by the receiving cavity 43. Since the large outer diameter of the receiving cavity 43 is very close to the outer diameter of the tripod body 1, an elastic return element 5 with a large outer diameter and strong elasticity can be provided in the tripod body 1 to further improve the locking effect of the locking assembly 4 on the ball 2 under the action of the elastic return element 5.

[0082] In some embodiments, the tripod body 1 is internally secured with a limiting shaft 8 provided coaxially with the tripod body 1. The limiting assembly 7 is rotatably connected to the limiting shaft 8 about the axis of the limiting shaft 8, and the limiting shaft 8 is provided with a limiting step 81 that blocks one side of the limiting assembly 7 facing away from the tripod body 1. The arrangement of the limiting shaft 8 and the limiting step 81 thereon can improve the stability of the limiting assembly 7 during rotation, so that the limiting assembly 7 rotates about the axial direction of the limiting shaft 8 without tending to vertical deviations. The limiting assembly 7 includes an inner sleeve 72 rotatably connected to the outer circumference of the limiting shaft 8, and an outer sleeve 73 fitted and secured onto the outer circumference of the inner sleeve 72.The outer periphery of the inner sleeve 72 is provided with a mounting hole, and the outer periphery of the outer sleeve 73 is provided with a through hole corresponding to the position of the mounting hole. The elastic limiting member 74 is arranged in the mounting hole, one end of the movable pin 71 is located in the mounting hole, and the other end can extend out of the through hole. The outer sleeve 73 is provided with a concave cavity 731 that fits the limiting step 81 of the limiting shaft 8.

[0083] In some embodiments, the locking assembly 41 is provided with a central shaft hole in the center, and the shaft hole slidably engages the limiting shaft 8 in the axial direction of the limiting shaft 8. With such an arrangement, the limiting shaft 8 plays a guiding role in the sliding movement of the locking assembly 4, which is advantageous for ensuring the precise sliding of the locking assembly 4 along the axial direction of the limiting shaft 8, whereby the locking projection 411 of the locking assembly 4 can accurately bring the ball 2 into a vertical state and avoid the problem of a deviation in the moving direction of the locking assembly 4, which would cause the ball 2 to be displaced during locking.

[0084] In some embodiments, the tripod body 1 includes a coaxially provided body sleeve 11 and a ball sleeve 12, with the rotation cavity 111 disposed in the ball sleeve 12 and the sliding cavity 111 disposed in the body sleeve 11. The tripod body 1 is assembled using the body sleeve 11 and the ball sleeve 12, so the corresponding parts can be manufactured and assembled separately, which can reduce the difficulty of product manufacturing and assembly.

[0085] In some embodiments, the pressure element 6 comprises an annular body 61 fixedly connected between the body sleeve 11 and the ball sleeve 12, wherein the annular body 61 is arranged between the ball 2 and the locking assembly 4; the annular body 61 is provided with a rotation axis 62 on the side facing the ball 2. The pressure element 6 further comprises a foot pedal 63, one end of which is rotatably connected to the rotation axis 62, while the other end protrudes from a lateral opening 112 in the tripod body 1. The pressure element 6, which consists of an annular body 61 and a rotatable foot pedal 63, has a simple structure, is easy to assemble and manufacture, and the foot pedal 63 is easy to step on. When locking or unlocking the ball 2, the operator does not need to squat, which makes operation more comfortable. The locking projection can pass through the center hole of the annular body 61, and the foot pedal 63 is provided with a hole for the passage of the locking projection; with such an arrangement, it is convenient that the foot pedal 63 exerts an increased pressing force on the locking assembly 4 after being depressed.

[0086] In some embodiments, the ball sleeve 12 is provided with a lower damping ring 91 and an upper damping ring 92 that are spaced apart from each other, the lower damping ring 91 and the upper damping ring 92 form the rotation cavity, and the diameter of the center hole of the lower damping ring 91 and the diameter of the center hole of the upper damping ring 92 are smaller than the diameter of the center hole of the ball 2; the outer wall of the ball sleeve 12 is screwed with a damping adjustment knob 10, the damping adjustment knob 10 abuts the upper surface of the upper damping ring 92, and the damping adjustment knob 10 is used to regulate the height of the damping ring 92 and, in turn, the magnitude of the damping force exerted by the ball 2 through the upper damping ring 92 and the lower damping ring 91.

[0087] In summary, the support stand provided by the present invention adopts the locking method for the ball 2 with a foot pressure member. The operator only needs to step on and release the foot pedal 63, and the ball 2 will automatically find the vertical direction and remain vertical without deviating from the vertical direction. When the operator needs to use it, they only need to step on and release the foot pedal 63 again, and the ball 2 can swing at any angle. The ball 2 can be locked in the vertical direction or the ball 2 can be released in one operation, and there is no need to repeat multiple operations to lock the ball 2 and the external assembly 3 and support rod thereon in the vertical state, which simplifies the operation.

[0088] Of course, the above-mentioned embodiments serve only as examples for clear explanation and are not intended to limit the embodiments. Other forms of changes or modifications are also possible for general technical personnel in this field based on the above description. An exhaustive list of all embodiments is neither necessary nor possible. The obvious changes or modifications derived therefrom still fall within the scope of the present invention.
