Description

Technical area

[0001] The invention relates to a foldable leg lifting device that has a folding function and enables training with alternating leg lifting movements. State of the art

[0002] A conventional leg raiser generally includes a base, a front handle, a rear support rod, a drive mechanism, a magnetic resistance mechanism, and a linkage mechanism. The drive mechanism consists of two rods pivotally mounted on either side of the rear support rod at one end and pivotally connected to a pedal at the other end. Sprockets and a chain are mounted between two sides of the rear support rod and one end of the two rods. The magnetic resistance mechanism can be driven in one direction by the sprockets, generating resistance. The linkage mechanism allows the two rods to pivot in opposite directions. However, there are the following drawbacks: (1) The cost of the sprockets and chain is too high, and calibration and adjustment for smooth rotation is time-consuming.(2) The magnetic resistance mechanism requires at least a magnetic control assembly, wheels, and a belt (or chain), which leads to high costs. (3) The above two points even result in long assembly times and excessive costs for the entire device. In the current economic downturn, buyers cannot accept this, and it is difficult to sell. (4) Folding is not possible, and thus requires a large amount of space. Object of the invention

[0003] The invention provides a foldable leg lifting device, comprising a base assembly having a first support rod, a second support rod and two third support rods, wherein the first and second support rods are each connected at their lower ends to a crossbar which can lie flat on the ground, wherein the upper end of the second support rod is foldably connected to the center of the first support rod, wherein the upper ends of the two third support rods are foldably hinged to two sides of the upper end of the first support rod, and wherein a transverse support element is provided below the two third support rods; ; a main handle support which is attached at its upper end to the front section of the first support rod and is provided with a handle at the upper end; two drive rods, which are pivoted by their upper ends to one side of the two third support rods and can pivot alternately forwards and backwards along an arcuate path of movement, with a pedal pivoted at each of their lower ends; and a coupling mechanism including a pivoting body, two coupling rods, and two resistance cylinders, the pivoting body being arranged symmetrically and pivotably behind the two third support rods 13 on the left and right, the lower ends of the coupling rods being pivotally connected to the left and right sides of the pivoting body, and the upper ends being connected to the first joints at the upper ends of the drive rods, the upper ends of the resistance cylinders being pivotally connected to the left and right sides of the pivoting body, and a fastening element being firmly connected between their lower ends and the support element, so that the two drive rods can pivot alternately forwards and backwards through the pivoting body.

[0004] The advantages of the invention are as follows: The alternating leg raises with resistance can effectively train the hip, knee, and ankle joints and stretch the core muscles, such as the abdominals and glutes. Assembly is quick and the cost is low. The price of the entire device is quite competitive, easily attracting the attention of buyers and consumers. The components are collapsible, reducing the volume of the shipping packaging and allowing for space-saving storage.
