[1] A compact electric heat press for ironing both sides of a garment simultaneously, comprising: a housing that can accommodate all components of the electric press; a pair of heating plates configured to provide opposing heated surfaces for simultaneously heating both sides of a garment; a foldable handle connected to the body, the foldable handle being ergonomically designed for comfortable operation; a microprocessor unit configured to control the temperature of the heating plates, monitor operating parameters and activate safety functions; a motion sensor operatively connected to the microprocessor unit and configured to detect device inactivity and turn the device off after a predetermined period of inactivity; a power supply unit configured to supply power to the heating plates and other electronic components of the press; and a user interface configured to display operating status and receive user inputs for temperature control via provided power control switches.
