Description

The invention relates to a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwashing basket, or a part thereof.Wire baskets are known, in particular washing or rinsing baskets, which are used, for example, in dishwashers. These are typically made of wires, which are optionally bent and often welded to one another only at points to form a frame, wherein the frame is subsequently coated with a plastic, for example in a sintering process. It is known to cross two wires with their side walls lying against one another and to weld them at points at the contact region. There is the problem that the wire strikes against the plastic coating and is therefore damaged, in particular tears, breaks or chips off, particularly at the butt-cut wire ends of the plastic coating, whereupon the wire basket or the part of the wire basket begins to corrode at this point. The described crossing points, in which two wires cross with their side walls lying against one another, can likewise entail the risk that the plastic coating tears, breaks or chips at these points or the protruding ends. The object of the invention is therefore to propose an alternative wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwasher basket, or a part thereof. The object is achieved according to the invention by a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwashing basket, or a part thereof having the features of claim 1.Advantageous embodiments and developments are specified in the dependent claims. The wire basket according to the invention, in particular washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably dishwashing basket, or part of a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwashing basket, has at least one base wire with a side wall and a longitudinal axis and at least one transverse wire arranged on the base wire, wherein the transverse wire has a first end, a second end, a side wall and a longitudinal axis, wherein the transverse wire has an end face at its first end and the transverse wire is fastened with the end face to the side wall of the base wire. In this case, the end face can in particular bear at least in sections or completely against the side wall of the base wire.By fastening the end face of the transverse wire to the side wall of the base wire, an intersection of two wires can be avoided. As a result, the number of free ends and thus the number of weak points can be reduced. In particular, the base wire and the transverse wire can be arranged substantially in one plane.According to the invention, it is provided that a first angle between the longitudinal axis of the base wire and the longitudinal axis of the transverse wire is not 90°. In many applications, it is desirable for the longitudinal axis of the transverse wire to be at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the base wire, for which purpose the transverse wire may have to be bent. By arranging the longitudinal axis of the transverse wire at a first angle not equal to 90° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the base wire, subsequent bending of the transverse wire can be avoided. As part of a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwashing basket, it is possible on the one hand to consider a part which is arranged pivotably or tiltable on a base frame of the wire basket, such as, for example, a folding rake or a spike rake, a plate holder or a glass holder, or another separate insert, but also a section of the base frame of the wire basket. The transverse wire is preferably straight. Complicated bending processes can thus be dispensed with. The first angle is preferably in the range from 45° to 85°, preferably in the range from 60° to 80°, particularly preferably in the range from 74° to 76°. Such angles have proven to be expedient for many applications in wire baskets, in particular washing or rinsing baskets, particularly preferably dishwashing baskets, or parts thereof, such as in particular foldable elements, such as for example folding rakes or spike rakes, in which plates or glasses can be positioned.Preferably, the end face of the transverse wire is arranged at a second angle not equal to 90° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the transverse wire, which can increase the accuracy of the positioning between the transverse wire and the base wire.Advantageously, the second angle corresponds to the first angle, which can simplify the production method.Preferably, the transverse wire is welded to the base wire, whereby a stable connection between the transverse wire and the base wire can be made possible.According to a preferred development of the invention, the wires arranged on one another are coated with a plastic coating, preferably comprising a polyamide, polypropylene, polyethylene or PVC, particularly preferably comprising polyamide 11 or polyamide 12. Such materials can provide good corrosion protection and can be processed easily.Advantageously, the base wire has a length of 40 mm to 1400 mm, preferably 40 mm to 700 mm, particularly preferably of 40 mm to 300 mm, and the transverse wire has a length of 10 mm to 400 mm, particularly preferably of 40 mm to 100 mm. Preferably, the base wire and / or the transverse wire have a diameter of 2.5 mm to 10 mm, preferably 2.5 mm to 5 mm. Wires dimensioned in this way result in stable wire baskets or parts thereof.According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the base wire and / or the transverse wire are made of steel. Steel wires can be produced cost-effectively and can be welded well.According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, a plurality of transverse wires are arranged at a distance from one another on the base wire, wherein each of the transverse wires is fastened in each case by the end face to the side wall of the base wire in such a way that the first angle between the longitudinal axis of the base wire and the longitudinal axis of the respective transverse wire is not 90°, wherein the transverse wires are arranged parallel to one another. For example, the part of a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwashing basket, can be designed in this way as a hinged rake or spike rake, plate holder or glass holder. The invention is explained in detail with reference to the following figures. They show FIG. 1 is a side view of a base wire with a plurality of transverse wires arranged thereon, FIG. 2 shows an enlarged detail of a longitudinal section through a connection point between one of the transverse wires and the base wire from FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a portion of the base wire shown in FIG. 1 with transverse wires disposed thereon.FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrate different views of a part of a wire basket, in particular a washing or rinsing basket, particularly preferably a dishwasher basket, with a base wire 10 and a plurality of transverse wires 20 arranged thereon. The base wire 10 has a first end 11, a second end 12, a side wall 13, and a longitudinal axis A 1. It is possible for the base wire 10 to be formed in an angled manner. In this case, the longitudinal axis A 1 refers to the straight portion of the base wire 10 on which the cross wires 20 are arranged. The base wire 10 has in particular a round cross section and can be manufactured from steel. The base wire 10 can have a length L 1 of 40 mm to 1400 mm, preferably 40 mm to 700 mm, particularly preferably 40 mm to 300 mm, and a diameter D 1 of 2.5 mm to 10 mm, preferably 2.5 mm to 5 mm.The transverse wire 20 has a first end 21, a second end 22, a side wall 23 and a longitudinal axis A 2 and is in particular of straight design. The transverse wire 20 has in particular a round cross section and can be manufactured from steel. The transverse wire 20 can have a length L 2 of 10 mm to 400 mm, preferably 40 mm to 100 mm, and a diameter D 2 of 2.5 mm to 10 mm, preferably 2.5 mm to 5 mm. At its first end 21, the transverse wire 20 has an end face 24, which is arranged at a second angle α 2 not equal to 90° with respect to the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20, at least after the fastening process. The second angle α 2 is in particular in the range of 45° to 85°, preferably in the range of 60° to 80°, particularly preferably in the range of 74° to 76°, and can be, for example, approximately 75°. Prior to the fastening process, it is possible that the end face 24 can be arranged both at the second angle α 2 of approximately 90° to the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20 and already at the desired angle α 2 not equal to 90° to the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20.The second end 22 of the transverse wire 20 can have an end face which is arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the second end 22 can be rounded with a spherical head 25. The second end 22, in particular in contrast to the first end 21, can be designed to be rotationally symmetrical to the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20.The transverse wire 20 is fastened, in particular welded, to the side wall 13 of the base wire 10 by the end face 24 in such a way that a first angle α 1 between the longitudinal axis A 1 of the base wire 10 and the longitudinal axis A 2 of the transverse wire 20 is not 90°. The first angle α1is in particular in the range from 45° to 85°, preferably in the range from 60° to 80°, particularly preferably in the range from 74° to 76°.The wires 10, 20 welded to one another can be coated with a plastic coating, preferably comprising a polyamide, polypropylene, polyethylene or PVC, particularly preferably comprising polyamide 11 or polyamide 12.The plurality of transverse wires 20 are fastened to the base wire 10 in particular parallel to one another, such that the first angle α 1 is identical for each of the transverse wires 20. The transverse wires 20 are arranged on the base wire 10 in particular spaced apart equidistantly from one another. The part of the dishwasher basket can be, for example, a fixed or foldable comb, for example a folding rake or spike rake, of which typically two are arranged parallel to one another in a dish tracking basket in order to position plates or the like in the dishwasher basket, or else another plate holder or glass holder.List of reference characters10 Base wire 11 First end 12 Second end 13 Side wall 20 Transverse wire 21 First end 22 Second end 23 Side wall 24 End face 26 Uncoated surface 27 Protective cap 25 Head α 1 First angle α 2 Second angle A 1 Longitudinal axis A 2 Longitudinal axis D 1 Diameter D 2 Diameter L 1 Length L 2 Length
