Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a storage box made of paper, cardboard or corrugated board, in particular for storing bulk material. The invention also relates to a blank for producing a storage box.Storage boxes and blanks for producing storage boxes of the type mentioned at the beginning are known in a great variety. Storage boxes with an integrated chute for opening and closing the storage box are known, for example, in EP 3 578 473 B1, DE 297 11 664 U1 and DE 10 2006 025 297 A1. However, the disadvantage of the known storage boxes made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard is that they are relatively susceptible to damage, whether due to external influences or due to the pressure exerted by the stored bulk material on corresponding inner surfaces of the storage boxes. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a storage box of the type mentioned at the beginning and a corresponding blank for producing this storage box, which have improved stability or entail them and are thus better secured against damage. These objects are achieved by a storage box having the features of claim 1 and a blank having the features of claim 10. Advantageous embodiments of the storage box are to be regarded as advantageous embodiments of the blank and vice versa.A first aspect of the invention relates to a storage box made of paper, cardboard or corrugated board, comprising a base wall, a top wall and a rear wall connecting the base and top walls, wherein on the side of the storage box opposite the rear wall an inner wall of a front wall articulated to the base wall and configured to be movable is configured for closing and opening a receiving space of the storage box formed by the base wall, top wall, rear wall and front wall. Side cheeks articulated laterally on opposite sides of the inner wall in each case serve to form a movable chute. Furthermore, in each case one side walls articulated laterally on opposite sides of the base wall are designed for laterally closing the receiving space of the storage box. In addition, at least one closure tab articulated laterally on opposite sides of the top wall is provided in each case for bearing on an outer surface of the respective side wall, wherein at least one connection tab is formed in each case on the ends of the respective closure tabs opposite the top wall for connection to an outer surface of the bottom wall opposite the top wall.In other words, the invention relates to a storage box made of paper, cardboard or corrugated board, which can be closed and opened by a movable front wall part. This part consists of an inner wall fixed to the bottom wall and side cheeks forming a chute. The box is additionally reinforced in the region of the side walls by closure flaps which contribute to the lateral closure of the receiving space. This construction offers a number of technical advantages over known storage boxes made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard. The integrated chute enables simple and convenient input and output of the bulk material. The movable inner wall, which forms the front wall, ensures a secure closure of the box. The side walls reinforced by means of the closure flaps contribute to the stability and safety of the storage box, since the box is of double-walled design in these regions. As a result, the storage box according to the invention is particularly robust and resistant to damage, which makes it ideal for storing bulk material. In addition, there is the possibility that an outer wall is hinged on the side of the cover wall opposite the rear wall for resting on an outer surface of the inner wall, wherein the inner wall forms the front wall with the outer wall. This measure also significantly increases the stability of the storage box according to the invention, since it is also of double-walled design in the region of the front wall. The storage box according to the invention can be manufactured in particular in solid cardboard and corrugated cardboard designs. In an advantageous embodiment of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that a tear strip and / or a perforation line are formed between the outer wall and the cover wall for at least partially separating the front wall from the storage box. In other words, it is provided that the storage box is connected to the front wall by a tear strip or a perforation line at a point between the outer wall and the cover wall, so that the front wall can be at least partially separated from the storage box. This configuration allows the user to more easily open and use the storage box, as the front wall can easily be severed along the tear strip or perforation line and moved across the hinge to the bottom wall. The formation of a tear-open strip or the stated perforation line also serves as a so-called security closure, since after opening of the storage box, its original state can no longer be realized. The user is therefore aware that the box has already been opened at least once. In addition, there is the possibility that the tear strip is reinforced by a reinforcing tape, in particular a reinforcing tape made of plastic. This ensures reliable actuation of the tear strip even under higher force. In further advantageous embodiments of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that the connecting tabs of the top wall are glued, glued or sealed to the opposing bottom wall. In other words, it is provided that the connecting tabs of the cover wall are permanently connected to the base wall. This permanent connection of the connecting straps results in a significantly higher stability and resistance of the box to damage due to external influences or pressure of bulk material from the interior. In addition, it is possible for at least one prefabricated, double-sided adhesive tape surface and / or at least one adhesive, glue or sealing point to be arranged on the base wall on the connecting flaps and / or the corresponding bearing surfaces for the connecting flaps. In other words, it is provided that the connecting flaps or the bottom wall are provided with double-sided adhesive surfaces or adhesive, glue or sealing points in order to facilitate and improve the assembly of the storage box. The storage box according to the invention is thus advantageously equally well suited for use both in manual and in machine packaging processes. For machine packaging, the double-sided adhesive tape sections (prefabricated on the connecting tabs) would be replaced by adhesive spots (e.g. hot glue or the like) to be applied in the packaging machine. In addition, the configuration of the storage box according to the invention enables an advantageous rapid erecting of the box in the manual or machine packaging process. In a further advantageous embodiment of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that the outer wall is glued, glued or sealed to the outer surface of the inner wall. In other words, it is provided that the outer wall and the outer surface of the inner wall are connected to one another by adhesive bonding, adhesive bonding or sealing to form the front wall with double walls. The bonding, gluing or sealing of the outer wall to the outer surface of the inner wall leads to an improved stability of the storage box in this region. The connected construction achieves a more stable body which is less susceptible to damage by external influences or pressure from the inside. In a further advantageous embodiment of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that at least one plug-in tab for re-closing the storage box after opening the chute is articulated on the side of the inner wall opposite the bottom wall. In other words, it is provided that the inner wall is provided with at least one plug-in tab which serves for the secure reclosure of the storage box after the opening of the chute. In a further advantageous embodiment of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that projections or latching noses directed in the direction of the lid wall are formed in edge regions of the side walls of the chute in such a way that the projections or latching noses engage in corresponding guide and latching openings formed in the lid wall or a transition region between the lid wall and the respective closure flaps. In other words, it is provided that the chute is provided with projections which engage into depressions on the top wall and thus limit the movability of the chute. This embodiment offers several technical advantages. On the one hand, the engagement of the projections in the guide and engagement openings determines a defined movement path of the chute. On the other hand, the movement path of the chute is limited, so that an undesired emptying of the storage box due to an excessively wide opening of the chute cannot occur. In a further advantageous embodiment of the storage box according to the invention, it is provided that the storage box is produced from a one-piece blank. In other words, it is provided that the production of the storage box is returned to a single blank. This one-piece blank allows a simplified and more efficient manufacturing process of the storage box. The reduction of the individual parts required leads to lower material costs and an improved production speed. Furthermore, the use of a one-piece blank minimizes waste due to incorrect processing of individual parts, which in turn contributes to resource conservation.A second aspect of the invention relates to a blank made of paper, cardboard or corrugated board for producing a storage box comprising a base wall, a top wall and a rear wall connecting the base and top walls, wherein on the side opposite the rear wall an inner wall of a front wall is hinged to the base wall. At the ends of the respective closing flaps opposite the top wall, at least one connecting flap is formed for connection to an outer surface of the bottom wall opposite the top wall in the folded state of the blank. In particular, there is the possibility that on the side of the cover wall opposite the rear wall, an outer wall is articulated for resting on an outer surface of the inner wall in the folded state of the blank, wherein the inner wall forms the front wall with the outer wall. This construction according to the invention offers a number of technical advantages over known storage boxes made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard. Thus, the side walls which can be reinforced contribute to the stability and safety of the storage box, since the box produced by means of the blank according to the invention is of double-walled configuration in these regions. As a result, this storage box is particularly robust and resistant to damage, which makes it ideal for storing bulk material. In addition, the stability of the storage box produced from the blank according to the invention is further significantly increased, since it is also of double-walled configuration in the region of the front wall. The blank according to the invention can be produced in particular in solid cardboard and corrugated cardboard designs. In a further advantageous embodiment of the blank according to the invention, it is provided that a tear strip and / or a perforation line are formed between the outer wall and the top wall. In other words, it is provided that the box produced by means of the blank can be characterized by a tear strip and / or a perforation line which interrupts the connection between the outer wall of the front wall and the top wall. This embodiment offers the user the possibility of opening and closing the storage box produced from the blank according to the invention as required. The tear strip or perforation line allows the box to be easily separated at one location, thereby allowing more rapid access to the bulk material contained therein. The simple separation of the box by a tear strip or a perforation line increases the operating comfort and saves the user time and effort compared to known solutions with, for example, welded edges. In further advantageous embodiments of the blank according to the invention, it is provided that at least one prefabricated, double-sided adhesive tape surface and / or at least one adhesive, glue or sealing point is arranged on the connecting flaps and / or the corresponding bearing surfaces for the connecting flaps on the base wall. This arrangement enables a permanent connection of the connecting flaps to the base wall and results in a significantly higher stability and resistance of the box produced by means of the blank according to the invention to damage due to external influences or pressure of bulk material out of the interior. In addition, it is possible for at least one prefabricated, double-sided adhesive tape surface and / or at least one adhesive, glue or sealing point to be arranged on the base wall on the connecting flaps and / or the corresponding bearing surfaces for the connecting flaps. In other words, it is provided that the connecting flaps or the bottom wall are provided with double-sided adhesive surfaces or adhesive, glue or sealing points in order to facilitate and improve the assembly of the blank. The blank according to the invention is thus advantageously equally well suited for use both in manual and in machine packaging processes. For machine packaging, the double-sided adhesive tape sections (prefabricated on the connecting tabs) would be replaced by adhesive spots (e.g. hot glue or the like) to be applied in the packaging machine. In addition, the configuration of the blank according to the invention enables advantageous rapid erecting in the manual or machine packaging process. In a further advantageous embodiment of the blank according to the invention, it is provided that at least one plug-in tab is hinged on the side of the inner wall opposite the base wall. In other words, it is provided that the inner wall of the front wall is provided with at least one plug-in tab on the side opposite the bottom wall, which plug-in tab serves for the secure re-closure of the storage box after the opening of the chute. In a further advantageous embodiment of the blank according to the invention, it is provided that in edge regions of the side walls of the chute, at least one projection or in each case at least one latching nose is formed in such a way that the projections or latching noses, in the folded state of the blank, engage in corresponding guide and latching openings formed in the lid wall or a transition region between the lid wall and the respective closure flap. In other words, it is provided that the side cheeks of the chute are provided with projections or latching noses which, in the folded state of the blank, engage in openings provided for this purpose on the lid wall or in the transition region to the closure flap. This advantageous embodiment enables improved stability and safety of the storage box, since the chute is reliably connected to the lid wall by the projections or latching noses and is thus protected against undesired opening or damage. The locking of the chute on the top wall ensures a stable and secure closure of the storage box, which is important in particular in the transport or storage of bulk material. This embodiment offers several technical advantages. On the one hand, the possibility of engaging the projections into the guide and engagement openings in the folded state of the blank defines a defined movement path of the chute. On the other hand, the path of movement of the chute is thus limited, so that an undesired emptying of the storage box due to an excessively wide opening of the chute cannot occur. In a further advantageous embodiment of the blank according to the invention, it is provided that it is formed in one piece. This one-piece blank allows a simplified and more efficient manufacturing process of the storage box. The reduction of the individual parts required leads to lower material costs and an improved production speed. Furthermore, the use of a one-piece blank minimizes waste due to incorrect processing of individual parts, which in turn contributes to resource conservation.Further features of the invention are evident from the claims, the exemplary embodiments and on the basis of the drawings. The features and combinations of features mentioned above in the description and the features and combinations of features mentioned below in the exemplary embodiments can be used not only in the respectively specified combination but also in other combinations without departing from the scope of the invention. They show FIG. 1 shows a schematically illustrated lateral view of a storage box according to the invention in the open state; FIG. 2 shows a schematically illustrated view of a bottom wall of the storage box according to FIG. 1 ; FIG. 3 shows a schematic illustration of a blank according to the invention for producing the storage box according to FIGS. 1 and 2 ; and FIG. 4 shows a schematic illustration of a blank according to the invention according to a second embodiment.FIG. 1 shows a schematically illustrated lateral view of a storage box 10 in the open state. The storage box 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 serves in particular for storing bulk material, for example small-part metal goods such as screws, nails, nuts, etc. This is a so-called folding box made of corrugated cardboard. In the further description of the exemplary embodiments and of the claims, various general terms are used. Thus, the term "bending line" can be understood to mean all lines which make it possible to angle elements of the storage box or of the blank over a defined course with respect to one another. In addition to the mentioned bending lines, folding, perforation or grooving lines or a combination of these lines can also be used. In addition, it is possible that combinations of these cutting lines are also used. The terms "cover-side", "base-side", "cover-side" and "base-side" are intended to denote in each case the orientation of the storage box with respect to a support on which the storage box rests. The term "at least one(s)" is understood to mean that, for example, one connecting tab or also a plurality of connecting tabs are formed. The storage box 10 according to a first exemplary embodiment comprises a bottom wall 12, a top wall 16, and a rear wall 14 connecting the bottom and top walls 12, 16. An inner wall 20 articulated to the bottom wall 12 and formed movably on the side of the storage box 10 opposite the rear wall 14, a front wall 18 for closing and opening an accommodation space 22 of the storage box 10 formed by the bottom wall 12, top wall 16, rear tie bar and front wall 14, 18. The receiving space 22 serves for receiving goods, in particular bulk material. The storage box 10 shown consists of a single corrugated corrugated cardboard. Other paper, bond coat and carton materials, as well as multi-ply corrugated boards are also possible for making the storage box 10.It can be seen that a side cheek 24, 26 articulated laterally on opposite sides of the inner wall 20 is arranged in each case for forming a chute 28. Furthermore, the storage box 10 comprises in each case a side turn 30, 32 which is articulated laterally on opposite sides of the base wall 12 for laterally closing the receiving space 22 of the receiving box 10.In this case, it is clear from FIG. 2, which shows a schematically illustrated view of the base wall 12, that a respective connecting tab 38, 40 for connection to an outer surface of the base wall 12 is formed at the ends of the respective closure tabs 34, 36 opposite the cover wall 16. It is also clear from FIG. 2 that, due to the side turn 30, 32 being located one above the other with the respective closure flaps 34, 36, the storage box 10 is of double-walled design in this region. This double-walled configuration significantly increases the stability of the storage box 10. This is advantageous in particular when, for example, small iron parts such as screws, nails or similar heavy parts are to be stored in the storage box 10. In this case, the connecting tabs 38, 40 are glued to the base wall 12 in the exemplary embodiment shown. However, it is also possible for the connecting flaps 38, 40 to be glued or sealed to the bottom wall 12. For the adhesive bonding of the connecting tabs 38, 40, at least one prefabricated double-sided adhesive tape surface 62 and / or at least one adhesive, glue or sealing point each can be arranged on these and / or corresponding bearing surfaces for the connecting tabs 38, 40 on the base wall 12.Furthermore, it can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2 that on the sides of the cover walls 16 opposite the rear wall 14, an outer wall 42 for resting on an outer surface of the inner wall 20 is articulated. The inner wall 20 forms with the outer wall 42 the double-walled front wall 18. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the outer wall 42 is bonded to the outer surface of the inner wall 20. However, it is also possible for these two elements to be glued or sealed. It can be seen that a tear strip 44 is formed between the outer wall 42 and the top wall 16 for at least partially separating the front wall 18 from the storage box 10. In the illustrated embodiment, tear strip 44 is shown in Fig. 1 with a reinforcing strip 66. The tear strip 44 is still connected to the outer wall 42. To open the storage box 10, the outer wall 42 was separated from the top wall 16 via the perforation line 78 (see also FIG. 3 ). The front wall 18 can be moved via the articulation of the inner wall 20 on the bottom wall 12. It can be seen that the side cheeks 24 and 26 form a lateral delimitation of the thus widened receiving space 22 of the storage box 10. This allows safe and targeted removal of the bulk material from the receiving space 22.It can also be seen that hinged to the sides of the inner walls 20 opposite the bottom wall 12 is a plug-in tab 46 for reclosure of the storage box 10 after opening the chute 28. To re-close the storage box 10, the plug-in tab 46 is brought into engagement with an inner surface of the top wall 16. It can also be seen that a grip opening 64 is formed in the top wall 16, which serves for easier opening and closing of the storage box 10. Pressure can be exerted on the plug-in tab 46 via the grip opening 64, in order to be able to release the connection of the outer wall 42 to the top wall 16 more easily on the one hand and to enable the storage box 10 to be opened and closed easily multiple times by means of the front wall 18 or the chute 28 on the other hand.It can also be seen that projections or latching noses 48, 50 are formed in edge regions 70 of the side cheeks 24, 26 of the chute 28 in the direction of the top wall 16, in such a way that the projections or latching noses 48, 50 can engage in corresponding guide and latching openings 52, 54 formed in the top wall 16 or a transition region between the top wall 16 and the respective closure tab 34, 36. The design of the latching noses 48, 50 allows reliable guidance of the side cheeks 24, 26 and thus of the chute 28. In addition, the opening path of the chute 28 is securely limited. The storage box 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is produced from a one-piece blank 60 as shown in FIG. 3.FIG. 3 shows a schematic illustration of a blank 60 for producing the storage box 10 according to FIGS. 1 and 2. the blank 60 comprises the base wall 12, the top wall 16 and the rear wall 14 connecting the base and top walls 12, 16, wherein on the side opposite the rear wall 14 the inner wall 20 of the front wall 18 is articulated on the base wall 12. The bottom wall 12 is connected to the rear wall 14 via a bending line 72 and the rear wall 14 is connected to the top wall 16 via a bending line 74.On the side opposite the rear wall 14, the bottom wall 12 is connected to the inner wall 20 via a bending line 76. It can be seen that, laterally on opposite sides of the inner wall 20, the side cheeks 24, 26 are connected to the inner wall 20 via bending lines 94, 96. In the folded state of the blank 60, the side cheeks 24, 26 form the chute 28 together with the inner wall 20 and the front wall 18, respectively. It can furthermore be seen that, on the laterally opposite sides of the bottom wall 12, the side walls 30, 32 are articulated via bending lines 82, 84. Furthermore, closure flaps 34, 36 are articulated laterally on opposite sides of the top wall 16 via bending lines 90, 92, which serve for bearing on an outer surface of the respective side wall 30, 32 in the folded state of the blank 60. The closure flaps 34, 36 are also connected in articulated fashion via bending lines 98, 100 to a respective connecting flap 38, 40. The connecting flaps 38, 40 serve for connecting to an outer surface of the bottom wall 12 opposite the top wall 16 in the folded state of the blank 60.It can be seen that a plurality of prefabricated double-sided adhesive tape areas 62 are formed on the connecting tabs 38, 40. Before the connection tabs 38, 40 are adhesively bonded to the bottom wall 12, these adhesive tape surfaces 62 are secured by a protective film 102.It can also be seen that on the side of the top wall 16 opposite the rear wall 14, the outer wall 42 is hinged via a perforation line 78. The outer wall 42 is used here for resting on an outer surface of the inner wall 20 in the folded state of the blank 60. in the folded state of the blank 60, the inner wall 20 and the outer wall 42 form the double-walled front wall 18.It can be seen that, in addition to the perforation line 78, the tear-open strip 44 is formed in the region between the outer wall 42 and the top wall 16. The tear strip is formed by the perforation line 78 and corresponding cuts in the outer wall 42. It also has a reinforcing strip 66 and grip bottles 68 arranged on both sides. It can also be seen that on the side opposite the bottom wall 12 the plug-in tab 46 is articulated via a bending line 80. In the edge regions 70 of the side cheeks 24 and 26, a respective latching nose 48, 50 is arranged. The latching noses 48, 50 are designed in such a way that in the folded state of the blank 60 they latch with the guiding and latching openings 52, 54 or engage in them. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the guide and latching openings 52, 54 are formed in a transition region between the cover wall 16 and the respective closure tab 34, 36.The illustration of the blank 60 also reveals the largely double-walled configuration of the storage box 10 produced from the blank 60. This relates in particular to the double-walled configuration of the side walls 30, 32 with the closure flaps 34, 36 and to the double-walled configuration of the front wall 18 with the inner wall 20 and the outer wall 42 adjoining it.Furthermore, it can be seen that adhesive flaps 56, 58 are articulated on the bottom wall 14 laterally via bending lines 86, 88, respectively. The adhesive flaps 56, 58 likewise serve to increase the stability of the storage box 10 produced from the blank 60.FIG. 4 shows a schematic illustration of a blank 60 according to a second embodiment. The reference numerals used here correspond to the reference numerals used to describe the features of the blank 60 according to the first exemplary embodiment. In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, this blank 60 has two perforation lines 104, 106, which are arranged parallel to one another and overall form the tear strip 44. Furthermore, the adhesive tape areas 62 are designed in the manner of strips, wherein an adhesive tape area 62 is arranged on each connecting tab 38, 40. The adhesive tape areas 62 are again protected by means of a protective film 102 before use. The use of a prefabricated adhesive tape strip 62 is suitable in particular when the storage box 10 is used in manual packaging processes.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
