Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a roof replacement tile. This tile has a clamping element for optimally positioning a fastening element, for example, for the substructure of a photovoltaic system.
[0002] It is known from the state of the art to install substructures for photovoltaic systems on roofs to provide a stable base for the individual power generation modules of the photovoltaic system. The substructure must be reliably attached to a load-bearing component of the roof structure, for example, a roof beam. This requires precise positioning of the fastening elements.
[0003] It is also known that replacing existing roof tiles with replacement tiles made of a metallic material is advisable, as roof tiles made of concrete or clay, in particular, are prone to cracking due to the substructure. Therefore, it is common practice to replace the existing roof tile with a replacement roof tile and attach the fastener in the area of the replacement roof tile, firmly connecting it to the roof substructure.
[0004] To ensure that the fastening element is reliably held to the roof substructure, it must be aligned according to the load-bearing parts of the roof substructure. For example, the fastening element is then screwed through the replacement roof tile to a beam of the roof substructure. To simplify the alignment of the fastening element, prior art document EP 2 330 256 B1 provides a rail on the replacement roof tile. The fastening element is movable within this rail and can be moved to the desired location to then create a firm connection to the roof substructure. Even if the prior art provides options for simplified pre-positioning of the fastening element, there is always the risk of unintentional displacement of the already aligned fastening element before it is finally fixed, for example by screwing.
[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a roof replacement tile which enables a simple and reliable temporary fixation of fastening elements with simple and cost-effective production and assembly.
[0006] This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. The subclaims contain preferred developments of the invention.
[0007] The roof replacement tile according to the invention has an edge region that is modeled on conventional roof tiles. This makes it possible, in particular, to replace conventional roof tiles installed on a roof with a roof replacement tile, whereby the roof replacement tile integrates into the structure of the conventionally installed roof tiles. In particular, it is provided that the roof replacement tile is designed to correspond to conventional roof tiles at several edge regions in order to easily insert the roof replacement tile into an already covered roof. In other words, the roof replacement tile is designed to be compatible with a conventional roof tile system.
[0008] On at least one side, a central section of the roof replacement tile adjoins the edge section. A clamping strip is attached to the central section. The clamping strip is designed to hold a fastening element for roof structures between the central section and the clamping strip in a force-fitting manner. The fastening element is clamped between the clamping strip and the central section.
[0009] The fastening element is intended to be fastened to a roof substructure. To do this, the fastening element must be positioned above a corresponding part of the roof substructure, for example a load-bearing beam or batten, in order to ensure reliable fastening. Fastening is carried out, for example, by screwing the fastening element through the roof replacement tile. The clamping strip can be used to temporarily fix the fastening element in place to support the process of fastening to the roof substructure. In particular, the risk of slipping and thus incorrect positioning of the fastening element is reduced or avoided. The force-locked or clamped fastening element can therefore be reliably connected to the roof substructure. An additional form-fit connection between the roof replacement tile and the fastening element is preferably prevented.
[0010] The fastening element is preferably used for attaching roof structures. This could, for example, be the substructure of a photovoltaic system. The use of the roof replacement tile also prevents compressive loads from the roof structure from being transferred to conventional roof tiles, which could lead to damage, such as breakage, of the conventional roof tiles.
[0011] The roof replacement tile is preferably designed to be aligned in a first direction along a direction of an eave or a ridge of a roof. The clamping strip runs along the first direction. The fastening element can therefore be positioned and held in place with respect to the roof replacement tile in any desired manner over the entire dimension of the clamping strip with respect to the first direction. This makes it easy to position the fastening element along the first direction, with the clamping strip providing a connection, in particular a temporary one.
[0012] The clamping strip is preferably designed to prevent or impede movement of the fastening element by clamping. This prevention occurs at least along the first direction. Displacement of the fastening element along the clamping strip is not intended. Rather, the clamping strip serves to reliably hold the fastening element in place, preventing it from accidentally being repositioned once it has been achieved.
[0013] The clamping strip particularly advantageously extends, with respect to the first direction, over at least half the dimension of the roof replacement tile along the first direction. In other words, the clamping strip is at least half as long as the roof replacement tile, measured along the first direction. This provides a sufficiently large area in which the fastening element can be positioned relative to the roof replacement tile and held in place by the clamping strip.
[0014] The clamping strip and the central region preferably form a substantially U-shaped region. The fastening element can be inserted into the U-shaped region to create a force-locking connection. The legs of the U-shaped region exert a compressive force on the fastening element, so that the force-locking connection, in particular the clamping, is reliably achieved.
[0015] In an advantageous embodiment, the central region is flat, at least in the region of the clamping strip. Preferably, the entire central region is flat, with only the at least one edge region adjoining the central region being shaped by forming, such as bending and / or flanging, in a manner corresponding to conventional roof tiles. On the one hand, the flat central region makes it easy and inexpensive to manufacture the replacement roof tile. On the other hand, the flat central region enables the fastening element to fit optimally and thus reliably support the roof replacement tile. In addition, the fastening element can be reliably positioned over the entire central region, as long as it can be held force-fittingly by the clamping strip.
[0016] The roof replacement tile comprises, in particular, a base body having the central region. Preferably, the base body also comprises the above-described edge region, wherein the central region and edge region are, in particular, different regions of the same one-piece component. The clamping strip is preferably connected to the base body. The connection can, for example, be materially bonded and / or form-fitting and / or force-fitting. In particular, the connection can be made via at least one mounting element, for example via one or more rivets. In an alternative embodiment, the clamping strip and the base body are formed as a single piece.
[0017] The roof replacement tile is preferably made of a metallic material. For example, the roof replacement tile is made of sheet metal. Manufacturing is particularly preferred by forming. This makes the roof replacement tile easy and cost-effective to produce and ideal for replacing existing roof tiles when a fastening element needs to be connected to the roof substructure at this point.
[0018] The invention further comprises a system comprising a replacement roof tile as described above and a fastening element for roof structures. The replacement roof tile can be mounted on a roof substructure as described above and serves to replace a conventional roof tile present on the roof substructure. The fastening element serves to accommodate a roof structure and can be fastened in a force-fitting manner between the central region and the clamping strip of the replacement roof tile. Furthermore, the fastening element can be connected to the roof substructure by means of at least one connecting element through the replacement roof tile. The roof structure can thus be supported directly on the roof substructure, for which purpose the fastening element must be optimally positioned above the roof substructure for connection using the connecting element.By means of the force-locking connection of the fastening element between the clamping strip and the central area, a connection, in particular a temporary one, is possible between the roof replacement tile and the fastening element, so that pre-positioning of the fastening element is simplified.
[0019] A sealing element is preferably arranged between the central region and the fastening element. The sealing element is made, for example, of plastic and / or elastic. The sealing element is preferably a flat, solid body. The sealing element is provided to seal the passage of the connecting element through the roof replacement tile. Alternatively or additionally, the sealing element is designed to increase friction between the central region and the fastening element. In this way, it can be achieved in particular that the fastening element is reliably held to the roof replacement tile by a force-fitting connection using the clamping strip. Fastening by means of a connecting element, which is, for example, a screw, can then be carried out simply and reliably, wherein the passage of the connecting element through the roof replacement tile is sealed by the sealing element. The sealing element is preferably attached to the fastening element, for example by adhesive bonding.
[0020] Further details, advantages, and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. It shows: Fig. 1 a schematic view of a roof replacement tile according to an embodiment of the invention, Fig. 2 a schematic sectional view of the roof replacement tile according to the embodiment of the invention, Fig. 3 a schematic detailed view of the roof replacement tile according to the embodiment of the invention, and Fig. 4 a schematic view of a system comprising a roof replacement tile and a fastening element according to an embodiment of the invention.
[0021] Fig. 1 schematically shows a roof replacement tile 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 2 shows schematically the Fig. 1 marked section AA through the roof replacement tile 1 and Fig. 3 shows schematically the Fig. 2 marked detail a of the roof replacement tile 1.
[0022] The roof replacement tile 1 has at least one edge region 2, in this exemplary embodiment, several edge regions 2. The edge regions 2 are adapted to ensure compatibility with conventional roof tiles. This makes it possible to replace a conventional roof tile with the roof replacement tile 1 according to the exemplary embodiment shown.
[0023] For example, if a roof structure, such as a photovoltaic system, is to be installed on the roof of a house, the roof structure must be connected to the roof substructure. For this purpose, fastening element 5 (see Fig. 4) are provided, which can be connected to the roof substructure, for example, by screwing. The roof replacement tile 7 serves, on the one hand, to support a fastening element 5 so that it does not rest on conventional roof tiles, which could lead to damage to conventional roof tiles.
[0024] The roof replacement tile 1 is made, for example, from a metallic material, in particular from sheet metal. Manufacturing is carried out, for example, by forming. This makes the roof replacement tile 1 easy and cost-effective to manufacture and can serve optimally as a support point for the roof structure.
[0025] In addition, the roof replacement tile 1 has a central region 3, which adjoins the edge region 2 on at least one side. A clamping strip 4 is attached to the central region 3. The clamping strip 4 is designed to hold the fastening element 5 for roof structures in a force-fitting manner between the central region 3 and the clamping strip 4.
[0026] The roof replacement tile 1 has a first direction 100 and a second direction 200. The roof replacement tile 1 is oriented with the first direction 100 along a direction of an eave or a ridge of a roof, so that the second direction 200 corresponds to the ridge-eave direction. The clamping strip 4 is oriented along the first direction 100. It is provided that the dimension of the clamping strip 4 along the first direction 100 is at least half the dimension of the roof replacement tile 1 along the first direction 100. The central region 3 is flat, at least in the region of the clamping strip 4.
[0027] Thus, the fastening element 5 can be positioned on the central region 3 and aligned according to the roof substructure. The fastening element 5 can thus be easily attached above load-bearing parts of the roof substructure in order to fasten the fastening element 5 to the roof substructure. The fastening element 5 can be optimally supported on the roof replacement tile 1. The roof replacement tile 1 can also fix the fastening element 5 at least temporarily by clamping it between the clamping strip 4 and the central region 3. The clamping strip 4 is designed in particular to prevent or impede movement of the fastening element 5 along the first direction 100 by clamping. Thus, accidental slipping of the fastening element 5 is avoided until a permanent connection to the roof substructure is established.
[0028] The clamping strip 4 and the central region 3 form a substantially U-shaped area. This acts as a clamping area into which the fastening element 5 can be inserted for a force-locking connection. The design of the U-shaped area adapts the clamping area to the corresponding size of the fastening element 5.
[0029] As particularly in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the roof replacement tile 1 has a base body 9. The base body 9 encompasses the central region 3. The clamping strip 4 is connected to the base body 9, in the illustrated embodiment via mounting elements 6, which are, for example, rivets. However, it is also possible to use a different type of connection, for example, a material-fit and / or form-fit and / or force-fit connection. The clamping strip 4 and the base body 9 can also be formed as a single piece.
[0030] Fig.4 schematically shows a system 10 according to an embodiment of the invention. The system 10 comprises a roof replacement tile 1 and a fastening element 5 for roof structures. The components roof replacement tile 1 and fastening element 5 have the properties described above. It is thus provided that the roof replacement tile 1 can be attached to a roof substructure (not shown) and that the fastening element 5 is to be fastened to this roof substructure. For this purpose, the fastening element 5 is aligned relative to the roof substructure and fastened in this position between the central region 3 and the clamping strip 4 of the roof replacement tile 1. The pre-positioned fastening element 5 is thus already held on the roof replacement tile 1, whereby slipping is prevented. The fastening element 5 can then be connected to the roof substructure by means of at least one connecting element 8, for example a screw, through the roof replacement tile 1. By holding the fastening element 5 to the roof replacement tile 1, a reliable connection between the roof substructure and the fastening element 5 can be achieved, since the connection process does not require the fastening element 5 to be manually held.
[0031] A sealing element 7 is also attached to the fastening element 5. The sealing element is, in particular, a flat body and is arranged between the central region 3 and the fastening element 5. The sealing element 7 serves to seal the passage of the connecting element 8 through the roof replacement tile 1. Furthermore, the sealing element 7 serves to increase friction between the central region 3 and the fastening element 5. Thus, the force-fitting connection between the fastening element 5 and the roof replacement tile 1 is further increased by the sealing element 7, thereby further reducing the risk of unintentional displacement of the fastening element 5 before it is fixed to the roof substructure.
