Abstract
Description
[0001] It is generally known that cuboid-shaped water tanks (i.e., water containers) are used, proportioned and manufactured with design solutions so that they can be installed without deformation and with self-supporting placement on a suitable horizontal support surface. Among these, the use of polyethylene tanks manufactured by rotational molding is known. From the Italian patent for an industrial invention No. 102020000017311, a "system, method, prefabricated modular water tank, designed for complete architectural integration within walls" is known, which provides for the use of a parallelepiped container that can be housed in a frame consisting of a casing and a lid, thus enabling stable installation within building elements. From the Italian patent No.Utility model 202024000002233 is known to be a “modular water tank for architectural integration”, wherein this tank is made of polyethylene by means of a rotational molding process and consists of a frame having two identical surfaces which can be connected by spacers.
[0002] However, this well-known technique has some disadvantages. Self-supporting, cuboid containers must be manufactured with a base that is proportionate to their height to prevent them from tipping over. If these containers are manufactured in a slimmer form, they typically incorporate ribs, ridges, cavities, or curved sections to ensure stability, which significantly reduces the storage volume relative to the space required.
[0003] Another disadvantage of the aforementioned containers is the concentration of water accumulation, whereby the loads per unit area may not be compatible with the permissible loads of existing ceilings. The solution proposed in Italian patent for industrial inventions No. 102020000017311 has several disadvantages: - no inspection opening (i.e. access) is provided in the tank body; - the shape of the tank is not optimal for the rotational molding process, as numerous “circular openings”, i.e., “continuous channels” with a small diameter, as well as short pieces of “connecting pipes”, are embedded in the tank body; - the frame consists of a lid and a housing, which require numerous welding points, a considerable amount of material and higher transport costs due to the prefabricated housing volume; - The type of tank connection involves the use of electrically weldable sleeves that must be attached to the "connecting pipes" embedded in the tank body, a solution that entails higher production and installation costs as well as the use of more complex tools for the pipe connections.
[0004] The solution proposed by the utility model registered in Italy under No. 202024000002233 has some disadvantages: - the frame has a complex geometry, which results in higher manufacturing and installation costs; - the frame consists of two sides, one of which is not strictly necessary when attaching it directly to an existing wall; - the circular passage channels do not allow for an even distribution of the Polvethvlen on the channel walls during the rotational forming process.
[0005] The purpose of this pattern is to avoid the disadvantages of the known technique.
[0006] In the proposed design, the tank is configured such that the number and position of the through-channels prevent significant deformation. Advantageously, the through-channels have a conical shape to improve the formation of a phenolic resin layer on the channel walls and to facilitate the removal of the tank from the mold at the end of the rotational molding process.
[0007] Advantageously, the frame of this pattern provides at least one support for attachment to the tank wall, which is only mounted on the outside of the tank and connected to the wall by means of spacers.
[0008] The technical problem and the stated objectives are essentially achieved with the present design, which comprises the technical features listed in one or more of the attached claims and consists of a modular container for wall mounting (10) comprising at least a wall mounting system (11) and a container (12): - the container (12) includes continuous channels (16) and at least one access (17) with a lid (18); - the wall mounting system (11) comprises at least one support (13) arranged orthogonally to the continuous channels (16), and spacers (14) passing through these continuous channels (16) and having the function of connecting one or more supports (13) to the wall (19); characterized by the fact that: - the aforementioned supports (13) preferably have the form of a plate or a hollow profile; - the said tank (12) is manufactured by rotational forming technology and has a geometry corresponding to a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces, pairwise parallel and at a certain distance from each other, wherein this parallelepiped is bounded by three distances between two parallel faces, the smallest distance between two parallel faces being in a range of 10 cm to 30 cm inclusive, and the other two distances between two parallel faces being in a range of 50 cm to 300 cm, wherein the said tank (10) has at least one access opening (17) with a cover (18), wherein the said tank (10) has a number of through channels (16) being orthogonal to the two larger faces in a range of 1 to 30, wherein these through channels (16) advantageously have a conical shape with a mean diameter advantageously less than 30 cm; corresponding to claim 1.
[0009] Compared to the state of the art, the present solution offers the advantage of simplifying the attachment of the tank to or within a wall, thus reducing the amount of materials required as well as the production and transport costs of the frame system.
[0010] An example of the system's operation involves installing one or more modules on a wall. The brackets (i.e., supports) are attached with screws of the same type as the spacers, which have internal threads at both ends. These screws are in turn fastened with double-cut screws to anchors of the same type, which are inserted into the wall in the usual manner. These anchors provide stable anchoring of the tank to the wall. Advantageously, the brackets can be made from hollow metal profiles with concentric holes on the faces perpendicular to the spacers. The hole on the outside is larger to allow the screw head to pass through, while the hole on the inside (between the bracket and the spacer) is smaller, corresponding to the diameter of the screw body.
[0011] At the same time, cover elements can be attached to the outside of the supports for aesthetic reasons, for example a series of wooden panels fastened with screws of a known type, or pre-formed panels.
[0012] The present model is described in detail, based on the description of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment, which is schematically represented for illustrative and non-limiting purposes in the accompanying figures, in which: - Fig. schematically shows, in axonometric view, a modular container for wall mounting (10) according to the present solution; - Fig. shows schematically, in axonometric view, the container (12); - Fig. shows schematically, in axonometric view, the fastening system (11); - Fig. schematically shows the detail of the cross-section of the container (12) in the middle of the through channels (16); - Fig. This is an example of the installation of two modules (10) arranged in series on a wall (19), wherein these modules (10) are clad with building elements or known materials (20) which are attached to the outside of the supports (13) of the fastening system (11).
[0013] Referring to the aforementioned illustrations, this solution concept relates to a modular module (10) comprising a fastening system (11), wherein the brackets (13) and spacers (14) are preferably made of metal, and a tank (12), preferably made of polyethylene. Alternatively, the brackets (13) can be made of wood or other materials or have different shapes. The spacers (14) can also be made of different materials and shapes or have different fastening solutions, for example, with plug-in connections that allow for plug-in fastening.
[0014] This tank (12) includes several continuous channels (16) of a conical shape through which the spacers (14) pass, which are attached at one end to the supports (13) and at the other end to the wall (19) to fix the tank (12) and prevent it from tipping over.
[0015] This tank (12) includes an access opening (17) and a lid (18) of a known type.
[0016] In this description, thickness refers to the depth of the object when positioned vertically or the height of the object when positioned horizontally or at an angle. The present solution has been described above with respect to preferred embodiments, although solutions may also exist that relate to the same core of the invention of the model as defined in the scope of the claims listed below.
