Description
BACKGROUND OF THE REVELATION Technical Area
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a terminal block structure and in particular a pluggable terminal block with a push handle. Description of the state of the art
[0002] A terminal block is a common connection component widely used in fields such as industrial communication with large amounts of information, industrial equipment with close integration between devices, the energy industry to improve the reliability and safety of energy systems, and highly automated industrial control.
[0003] To achieve quick installation and easy maintenance, pluggable terminal blocks, which combine wiring and PCB connections, have appeared on the market. They comprise a female terminal block and a male terminal block that can be quickly connected or disconnected.
[0004] However, if the connection between the female and male terminal blocks tends to loosen, the stability of signal and power transmission can be compromised. Therefore, a locking mechanism is typically provided between the female and male terminal blocks. Consequently, providing a pluggable terminal block with a locking mechanism and quick-release function, while maintaining a simple overall configuration, has become a key research and development focus for the inventor.
[0005] In light of the foregoing, the inventor has carefully studied the prior art and applied theoretical principles to address the aforementioned problems, which has become the developmental goal of the present disclosure. PRESENTATION OF REVELATION
[0006] The present disclosure provides a pluggable terminal block with a push-button handle. A distal end of an elastic arm is pivotally connected to a pivot mount of a plug body. When the elastic arm is returned to its restoring position, it drives a second locking section to engage with a first locking section. When the push-button handle is pressed, it drives the second locking section to release from the first locking section, causing the elastic arm to deform elastically, thus achieving the advantages of rapid release and a simplified structure for the pluggable terminal block.
[0007] In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a pluggable terminal block with a push handle is provided, comprising: a socket terminal block provided with a first locking section; and a plug terminal block removably inserted into the socket terminal block, the plug terminal block comprising: a plug body comprising an insulating housing provided with a receiving chamber, an opening communicating with the receiving chamber, and a pivoting holder located in the receiving chamber; and a push handle movably arranged in the receiving chamber, the push handle comprising a pressure section, an elastic arm, and a second locking section, wherein a distal end of the elastic arm is pivotably connected to the pivoting holder and the pressure section is exposed from the opening;wherein, when the elastic arm is returned to a reset position, the elastic arm drives the second locking section to lock with the first locking section; and when the pressure section is pressed, the pressure section drives the second locking section to release from the first locking section, and the elastic arm deforms elastically.
[0008] Based on the foregoing, the push-button handle of the present disclosure enables rapid unlocking between the socket terminal block and the plug terminal block by means of a distal end of the elastic arm, which is pivotally connected to a pivot bracket of the insulating housing. Furthermore, due to the simple structural arrangement of the elastic arm, the pivot pin, and the pivot hole, the pluggable terminal block of the present disclosure offers the advantages of rapid release and a simplified structure. [0009] The detailed description and technical content of this disclosure are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the accompanying drawings serve only for illustration and are not intended to limit this disclosure.
[0010] It will be directed to the Fig. 1 to Fig. 4 Reference is made to the present disclosure. The present disclosure provides a pluggable terminal block with a push handle, comprising mainly a socket terminal block 1 and a plug terminal block 2.
[0011] As in the Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the socket terminal block 1 is provided with one or more first locking sections 11. In particular, the socket terminal block 1 is provided with one or more insertion slots 12, each insertion slot 12 receiving a first connection (not shown). Each first locking section 11 is a locking groove 13 formed on an inner wall of the corresponding insertion slot 12.
[0012] As in the Fig. 1 to Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the plug terminal block 2 is removable and inserted into the socket terminal block 1; that is, the plug terminal block 2 can be inserted into the socket terminal block 1, and the plug terminal block 2 can also be detached from the socket terminal block 1. The plug terminal block 2 comprises a plug body 21 and a push-button handle 22.
[0013] Additionally, the connector body 21 comprises an insulating housing 211 and one or more secondary terminals (not shown) embedded in the insulating housing 211. When the connector terminal block 2 is inserted into the socket terminal block 1, the first terminals are electrically connected to the second terminals.
[0014] Furthermore, the insulating housing 211 is provided with a receiving chamber 212. The insulating housing 211 has an opening 213 on its outer surface, which communicates with the receiving chamber 212. The insulating housing 211 includes a pivoting bracket 214 located in the receiving chamber 212. The receiving chamber 212 is defined by an opposing inner upper wall 215 and an inner lower wall 216, and the opening 213 is formed in the inner upper wall 215.
[0015] Furthermore, the pressure handle 22 is movably arranged in the receiving chamber 212. The pressure handle 22 comprises a main body 221, a pressure section 222, an elastic arm 223, a second locking section 224, and an extension piece 225. The pressure section 222 is formed on a top surface of the main body 221 and is free of the opening 213. The elastic arm 223 is a linearly shaped elastic arm 3, with one end extending from the main body 221 and the other end pivotally connected to the pivot bracket 214; that is, a distal end of the elastic arm 223 is pivotally connected to the pivot bracket 214. The extension piece 225 extends from the main body 221, and the second locking section 224 is a locking block 226 projecting from the extension piece 225.
[0016] In this embodiment, the push handle 22 is made of plastic material. The main body 221 is a frame-shaped body 6, and the outer shape of the frame-shaped body 6 is a rectangular frame. The linearly shaped elastic arm 3 is movably arranged within the frame-shaped body 6. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this.
[0017] Furthermore, either the distal end of the elastic arm 223 or the distal end of the pivot bracket 214 is extended with a pivot pin 4, and the other distal end of the elastic arm 223 and the pivot bracket 214 is provided with a pivot hole 5, the pivot pin 4 being pivotably connected to the pivot hole 5. In detail, the pivot bracket 214 of this embodiment comprises a post 217 projecting upwards from the inner bottom wall 216 and a pivot hole 5 formed in the post 217. The pivot hole 5 is an arcuate recess 218 formed in the upper surface of the post 217. The distal end of the elastic arm 223 is extended, with the pivot pin 4 pivotably connected to the pivot hole 5; however, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0018] As in Fig. Figure 3, which depicts a state of use of the pluggable terminal block 10 of the present disclosure, shows the plug terminal block 2 being inserted into the socket terminal block 1. When the pressure section 222 is not pressed, the elastic arm 223 is returned to a reset position. The linearly shaped elastic arm 3 is arranged horizontally between the inner upper wall 215 and the inner lower wall 216 and simultaneously drives the main body 221 to move upwards towards the inner upper wall 215, causing the pressure section 222 to protrude from the opening 213 and driving the second locking section 224 to lock with the first locking section 11.This is achieved by locking the socket terminal block 1 and the plug terminal block 2 via the first locking section 11 and the second locking section 224, thus preventing the connection between the socket terminal block 1 and the plug terminal block 2 from coming loose.
[0019] As in Fig.Figure 4, which represents another state of use of the pluggable terminal block 10 of the present disclosure, shows the plug terminal block 2 being inserted into the socket terminal block 1. When the pressure section 222 is pressed, it simultaneously drives the main body 221 to move downwards towards the inner lower wall 216, causing the elastic arm 223 to deform elastically. This causes the linearly shaped elastic arm 3 to be positioned obliquely, forming an acute angle θ with the inner lower wall 216, and drives the second locking section 224 to release itself from the first locking section 11. This achieves the effect of quickly unlocking the socket terminal block 1 and the plug terminal block 2 via the pressure handle 22.
[0020] Accordingly, the push handle 22 of the present disclosure enables rapid unlocking between the socket terminal block 1 and the plug terminal block 2 by means of a distal end of the elastic arm 223, which is pivotably connected to the insulating housing 211. Furthermore, due to the simple structural arrangement of the elastic arm 223, the pivot pin 4, and the pivot hole 5, the pluggable terminal block 10 of the present disclosure offers the advantages of rapid release and a simplified structure.
[0021] In summary, the pluggable terminal strip with the push-button handle described in this disclosure has not been found in similar products or in publicly used products and exhibits industrial applicability, novelty, and inventive step, fully meeting the requirements for patent protection. Therefore, this disclosure is filed under patent law to protect the inventor's rights.
