Abstract

A data processing system for determining dependencies and controlling resources in distributed data processing systems, comprising a plurality of mutually distributed processing units, a data acquisition unit for recording state and processing data of the processing units, a control unit for allocating computing resources, and a storage unit for storing state information, characterized in that a hardware-implemented dependency analysis unit is provided, which is configured to capture, model, and represent dependencies between processing operations and data states in real time in a structured dependency representation, and that a resource control unit is provided, which deterministically controls the allocation of computing resources depending on the determined dependencies.
