Abstract
A process for preparing a supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide-silica complex, the process comprising: (i) reacting a zinc compound and molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) in an aqueous system to form a reaction mixture; and (ii) contacting the reaction mixture with silica to form the supported zinc dimolybdate hydroxide-silica complex.
