Description
[0001] The invention relates to an adapter device for various busbar systems, which allows electrical devices designed for a specific busbar subsystem to also be connected to a different busbar main system.
[0002] Busbars comprise an arrangement of current conductors that can be used to distribute electrical energy. Busbars can be made of aluminum or copper, for example. One or more electrical devices, particularly switching devices, can be mounted on busbars. In many cases, the busbars are installed in lockable switchgear cabinets, as conventional busbars themselves do not offer any protection against accidental contact. Busbars can transmit both AC and DC voltages. Multiple busbars can be mounted in parallel and carry different current phases, such as L1, L2, or L3, of a power system. In addition, busbars can also form neutral conductors (N) or protective conductors (PE). The spatial dimensions can vary for different busbar systems.Busbars with a large cross-section are suitable for transporting currents with high rated currents. The spacing between different parallel busbars can also vary. Hybrid busbars, which have contact slots, can also be provided.
[0003] The electrical connection or combination of different busbar systems traditionally requires considerable effort in terms of assembly and wiring. Furthermore, the connection points between conventional busbar systems are often not touch-safe. A further disadvantage of conventional wiring of different busbar systems is that the connection cannot be made safely during operation or while live.
[0004] EP 2 911 253 A1 further discloses a busbar adapter comprising a lower adapter part, the lower adapter part having a base with receptacles for receiving connecting bars that can be electrically contacted with busbars. The connecting bars can be electrically connected to at least one electrical device that can be attached to the upper adapter part of the busbar adapter.
[0005] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an adapter device which allows different busbar systems to be connected to one another safely and flexibly.
[0006] This object is achieved according to the invention by an adapter device having the features specified in claim 1.
[0007] The invention therefore provides an adapter device according to claim 1.
[0008] The adapter device has the advantage that no manual wiring is required between the different busbar systems, thus reducing installation effort.
[0009] In addition, the adapter device according to the invention provides a safe and reliable electrical connection between different busbar systems.
[0010] A further advantage of the adapter device according to the invention is that the connection between different busbar systems can also be made during operation or under voltage.
[0011] In one possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the adapter housing of the adapter device has two separable adapter housing halves which are mechanically and electrically connected to one another.
[0012] In one possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the two adapter housing halves comprise a first adapter housing half on the rear side of the adapter housing, which has the busbar main interface for electromechanically contacting busbars of the busbar main system, and a second adapter housing half on the front side of the adapter housing, which has the busbar sub-interfaces with the busbars of the various busbar subsystems integrated in the adapter housing or attached to the adapter housing.
[0013] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the busbar main interface provided on the rear side of the adapter housing has an associated contact component for each busbar of the busbar main system for contacting the corresponding busbar of the busbar main system.
[0014] In one possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, several busbars of different busbar subsystems provided on the front side of the adapter housing are electrically connected in parallel to the contact component via electrical conductors contained in the adapter housing of the adapter device. These electrical conductors can comprise electrical lines or busbars.
[0015] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the busbars of the busbar sub-interfaces integrated in the adapter housing each have slotted busbars, hybrid busbars or solid busbars.
[0016] In one possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the hybrid busbars of the at least one busbar sub-interface each comprise a current-carrying rail profile and a contact-receiving rail profile which has evenly spaced contact slots for receiving electrical contacts of an electrical device.
[0017] In the adapter device according to the invention, a wall on the housing front side of the adapter housing in the region of the busbar sub-interface has through-slots for passing through electrical contacts of an electrical device to be connected, which can be inserted into underlying contact slots of a slotted busbar or hybrid busbar integrated in the adapter housing for electrically contacting the busbars of the busbar main system.
[0018] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the adapter housing of the adapter device is elongated and has on the rear side of the housing along a longitudinal axis of the adapter housing a plurality of contact components arranged one above the other for contacting a plurality of current busbars of the main current busbar system running parallel in the horizontal direction.
[0019] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the first housing half of the adapter housing provided on the rear side is fixedly mounted on the busbars of the busbar main system with the busbar main interface for electromechanically contacting the busbars of the busbar main system.
[0020] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the second adapter housing half provided on the housing front side of the adapter housing, which has the busbar sub-interfaces, is mechanically detachable from the first adapter housing half fixedly mounted to the busbars of the busbar main system and, after rotation through 180° along a transverse or rotational axis of the adapter housing, can be mechanically connected again to the first adapter housing half.
[0021] The rotation also allows cables to be connected that are brought to the adapter device from above in a control cabinet.
[0022] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the busbar main system has a number of at least two busbars for different current phases, which run parallel to one another in the horizontal direction and which can each be electromechanically contacted by at least one contact component of the busbar main system provided on the rear side of the adapter housing to establish an electrical connection with a corresponding number of busbars of different busbar subsystems integrated in the adapter housing on the front side of the housing.
[0023] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the electrical devices placed on the busbar sub-interfaces have outgoing lines which can be guided through feed-through tunnels of busbar sub-interfaces in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the adapter housing towards an end face of the adapter housing.
[0024] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, support rails for attaching connection terminal blocks or other accessories are provided on at least one end face of the adapter housing.
[0025] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the electrical devices placed on the busbar sub-interfaces of the adapter device have fuse switch-disconnectors which are connected between the busbars of the busbar main system and electrical consumers which are connected to connection terminals of connection terminal blocks and which, when manually actuated, disconnect the electrical consumers from the busbars of the busbar main system or connect them to them.
[0026] The use of terminal blocks allows for a convenient connection situation. The cables only need to be connected to the terminal blocks and do not need to be routed through the adapter or adapter housing to the devices. By rotating the front part of the adapter or the front half of the adapter housing by 180°, cables that are routed from above in a control cabinet can also be connected. In one possible design, the terminal blocks can be integrated into the adapter device or mounted on the adapter device as an accessory.
[0027] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, the busbars of the busbar main system have a rated current strength that is different from the rated current strength of the busbars of the busbar subsystems.
[0028] In a further possible embodiment of the adapter device according to the invention, current and / or voltage measuring units for each busbar of the busbar main system are integrated in the adapter housing of the adapter device.
[0029] In addition, current measurement is possible on the incoming side of the subsystems. A further current measurement is also possible on the outgoing level of the subsystems.

[0032] Fig. 1 shows an exemplary arrangement in which adapter devices 1 according to the invention are provided to combine or electrically connect different busbar systems. Fig. 1 In the exemplary arrangement shown, two adapter devices 1-1, 1-2 are provided. Fig. 1 shows a view of the two adapter devices 1-1, 1-2 from above. Fig. 1 The left adapter device 1-1 shown is equipped with electrical devices or components 2 in the example shown and the Fig. 1 The second adapter device 1-2 shown on the right is not equipped with electrical devices or components 2. The adapter device 1 according to the invention serves to connect at least one electrical device 2, which is designed for a specific busbar subsystem 11, 12, to a busbar main system 7. Fig. 1 In the arrangement shown, the adapter device 1-1 is equipped with four electrical devices or electrical components 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D. For each equipped or attached electrical device 2, an associated terminal block 3 is provided on the underside of the adapter device 1, as shown in Fig. 1 Accordingly, the Fig. 1 The adapter device 1-1 shown on the left has four connection terminal blocks 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, which are connected to the corresponding electrical devices or components 2 via power lines 19. Instead of the power or outgoing lines 19, in a further embodiment, integrated power conductors or busbars can also be provided in the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1, which are provided with line connection terminals at the subsystem level and at the lower end of the adapter device 1. In this way, at the subsystem level, the outgoing lines of the components can be connected to the line connection terminals of the integrated outgoing busbars. The outgoing lines to the consumer devices can, in turn, be connected to the underside of the adapter housing.
[0033] The two adapter devices 1-1, 1-2 each have an associated adapter housing 4-1, 4-2. The adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1 has a busbar main interface on a rear side of the housing for electromechanical contacting of busbars 6 of a busbar main system 7. Fig. 1 In the exemplary embodiment shown, the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7 are located in a contact protection system 5. The electrically insulating contact protection system 5 encloses the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7. The contact protection system 5 can be modular and comprise several contact protection modules. These contact protection modules have, for example, holding feet that are provided for engaging behind the busbars 6. The various contact protection modules of the contact protection system 5 can be locked to adjacent contact protection modules and cover the busbars 6-i of the busbar main system 7 over their entire surface. The various contact protection modules of the contact protection system 5 have, in the Fig. 1 The embodiment shown has terminal receiving areas 8-i for accommodating connection terminals. These connection terminals are intended for the electrical contact of the busbars 6-i of the busbar main system 7 located below the contact protection modules of the contact protection system 5. In the Fig. 1 In the exemplary embodiment shown, the contact protection system 5 is provided for three parallel busbars 6-1, 6-2, 6-3 of the main busbar system 7. Accordingly, each contact protection module of the contact protection system 5 has three terminal receiving areas 8-1, 8-2, 8-3. In the exemplary arrangement shown, the busbars 6 can be attached, for example, by busbar supports 26 to a wall or within a housing or a control cabinet. Fig. 1 In the exemplary embodiment shown, the busbars 6-i of the busbar main system 7 extend in a horizontal direction. For example, the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7 can be solid busbars with a rectangular cross-section, which allows the transmission of electrical currents with a high nominal current. In one possible embodiment, the various contact protection modules of the contact protection system 5 can be pushed onto the plurality of busbars 6-i arranged parallel in the horizontal direction in such a way that the holding feet of the contact protection modules engage behind the busbars 6. The various terminal receiving areas 8-i have Fig. 1 illustrated embodiments have contacting slots 9 arranged in parallel, as shown in Fig. 1 The contacting slots 9 serve for electrical contacting of the underlying busbars 6 by means of connecting terminals or connecting components. The contacting slots 9 are preferably designed such that they provide a uniform division of several mutually locked contact protection modules of the contact protection system 5. Furthermore, the terminal connection areas 8-1, 8-2, 8-3 in the Fig. 1 The illustrated embodiment has flat, tapered insertion devices 10-i, which are provided for inserting clamping brackets of the connecting terminals. The various modules of the contact protection system 5 are preferably made of an electrically insulating, heat-stable and fire-retardant material. Fig. 1 In the embodiment shown, the main busbar system 7 is a touch-protected 185 mm busbar system for transmitting high electrical power.
[0034] Each of the two adapter devices 1-1, 1-2 has an adapter housing 4-1, 4-2, which is also made of an electrically insulating material. The adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1 has a busbar main interface on the rear side of the housing for electromechanically contacting busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7. Furthermore, the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1 has one or more busbar sub-interfaces on the front side of the housing. These busbar sub-interfaces serve to attach at least one electrical device 2 to the adapter device 1 from the front and to electrically connect it to the busbar main system 7 via the busbars of the respective busbar subsystem 11, 12 integrated in the adapter housing 4, as well as via electrical lines or rails 28 running or contained in the adapter housing 4.
[0035] In the Fig. 1 In the embodiment shown, the adapter device 1 has two busbar subsystems 11, 12 with corresponding subinterfaces on its front side. Fig. 1 The illustrated embodiment is a subsystem with slotted busbars. As shown in Fig. 1 As shown, each of the two adapter devices 1-i has a first upper busbar subsystem 11 and a second lower busbar subsystem 12. The Fig. 1 The adapter device 1-1 shown on the left is fully equipped with electrical devices or components 2A to 2D. Two first electrical components or devices 2A, 2B are mounted on the upper busbar sub-interface of the busbar subsystem 11, and the two electrical devices 2C, 2D are mounted on the busbar sub-interface of the second busbar subsystem 12. Each busbar sub-interface is suitable for accommodating at least one electrical device 2, for example, a fuse switch-disconnector. A corresponding terminal block 3 can be provided for each mounted electrical device 2, as shown in Fig. 1 for the left adapter device 1-1. In one possible embodiment, these terminal blocks 3 can be placed or pushed onto support rails 13, 14. For example, two support rails or top hat rails can be provided for each terminal block 3 for attaching the corresponding terminal block 3. In the Fig. 1 In the arrangement shown, the right adapter device 1-2 is not equipped with electrical devices 2 and does not have the corresponding connection terminal blocks 3, so that the support rails 13, 14 are inserted from the front into Fig. 1 are recognizable. In the Fig. 1 In the illustrated embodiment, the support rails 13, 14 for attaching the connection terminal blocks 3 are located on the lower end face of the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1.
[0036] In the example shown, the adapter housing 4 has two busbar sub-interfaces of the two busbar subsystems 11, 12 on its front side. These serve to place at least one electrical device onto the adapter device 1 and to electrically connect it to the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7 running on the rear side within the contact protection system 5. This electrical connection is established on the one hand via the busbars 15, 16 of the respective busbar subsystem 11, 12 integrated in the adapter housing 4 and on the other hand via internal electrical lines or rails 28 running in the adapter housing 4. In the Fig. 1 In the illustrated embodiment, the busbars 15, 16 integrated in the adapter housing 4 each comprise hybrid busbars. The first upper busbar subsystem 11 comprises, in the illustrated embodiment, three busbars 15A, 15B, 15C integrated in the adapter housing. The second lower busbar system 12 also comprises three parallel integrated busbars 16A, 16B, 16C, which are arranged in parallel below the Fig. 1 from the front visible contact slots 17, 18. The busbars 15, 16 of the subsystems 11, 12 can be slotted busbars ( Fig. 26 , Fig. 27 , Fig. 36 ), massive busbars ( Fig. 37 ) or hybrid busbars ( Fig. 38 ). The number of busbars 15, 16 of the two busbar sub-interfaces 11, 12 can, in one possible embodiment, correspond to the number of busbars 6-i of the main busbar system 7. Each busbar 15, 16 of the two busbar sub-interfaces of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 preferably comprises a current-carrying busbar profile and a contact-receiving busbar profile. The current-carrying busbar profile of the busbar 15, 16 integrated in the adapter housing 4 essentially serves to transport an electrical current. The contact-receiving busbar profile of the busbar 15, 16 connected thereto preferably has evenly spaced contact slots or contact openings for receiving protruding electrical contacts of an electrical device 2.The wall on the front side of the adapter housing 4 has feed-through slots 17A, 17B, 17C and 18A, 18B, 18C in the area of the busbar sub-interfaces. These feed-through slots 17, 18 serve to pass through the electrical contacts of an electrical device 2 to be connected, which can be inserted or plugged into the contact slots of the busbar 15, 16 integrated into the adapter housing 4 directly below them. This allows electrical contact between an electrical device 2 and the busbars 15, 16 of the respective busbar subsystem 11, 12 to be achieved, which in turn are electrically connected internally via integrated cables or brackets to the corresponding busbars 6-1, 6-2, 6-3 of the main busbar system 7.In this way, electrical devices 2 that are plugged into a busbar sub-interface are electrically connected to the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7 contained in the contact protection system 5.
[0037] As in Fig. 1 As shown, the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1 is elongated. The adapter housing 4 can have several contact components arranged one above the other on its rear side along its longitudinal axis for contacting the busbars 6-i of the main busbar system 7, which run parallel in the horizontal direction.
[0038] The adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1 preferably has two separable adapter housing halves that are mechanically connected to one another. The two adapter housing halves comprise a first adapter housing half 4A on the rear side of the adapter housing 4 and a second adapter housing half 4B on the front side of the adapter housing 4. The first adapter housing half 4A on the rear side of the adapter housing 4 has a busbar main interface for electromechanically contacting the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7.The second adapter housing half 4B on the front side of the adapter housing 4 comprises the various busbar sub-interfaces of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 with busbars 15, 16 of the two busbar subsystems 11, 12 integrated in the adapter housing 4 or busbars of busbar subsystems attached to the adapter housing 4.
[0039] The busbar main interface provided on the rear side of the adapter housing 4 preferably has an associated contact component for each busbar 6 of the busbar main system 7 for contacting the corresponding busbar 6 of the busbar main system 7. Preferably, several busbars 15, 16 of different busbar subsystems 11, 12 provided on the front side of the adapter housing 4 are electrically connected in parallel to this contact component via the lines contained in the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1. Fig. 1 In the exemplary embodiment shown, the busbar main system 7 has a number of three busbars 6 for different current phases L1, L2, L3, which run parallel to one another in the horizontal direction and which can each be electromechanically contacted by at least one contact component of the busbar main system 7 provided on the rear side of the adapter housing 4 for electrical connection to a corresponding number of two busbars 15, 16 of the two busbar subsystems 11, 12 integrated on the front side of the adapter housing 4. For example, the Fig. 1 The first busbar 6-1 shown above has a current phase L1 and is connected via the adapter device 1, on the one hand, to the busbar 15A of the upper busbar subsystem 11 and, on the other hand, to the busbar 16A of the lower busbar subsystem 12. In the same way, the busbar 6-2 of the main busbar system 7 can be electrically connected in parallel via the adapter device 1 to the second busbar 15B of the upper busbar subsystem 11 and to the second busbar 16B of the lower second busbar subsystem 12. Furthermore, in an analogous manner, the third lower busbar 6-3 of the main busbar system 7 is connected in parallel to the two busbars 15C, 16C of the two busbar subsystems 11, 12 integrated in the adapter housing 4.The electrical current flowing via the busbar 6-i of the busbar main system 7 can thus be easily distributed between two or more busbar subsystems 11, 12. In the case of the system shown in . Fig. 1 In the example shown, the busbars 15, 16 of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 comprise slotted busbars. Alternatively, the busbars 15, 16 of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 can also have conventional solid busbars or hybrid busbars, wherein the current-carrying cross-section can differ from the cross-section of the busbars 6-i of the main system 7. The number of busbar subsystems 11, 12 can vary depending on the application. For example, the adapter device 1 can also comprise three or more busbar subsystems 11, 12. The spacing of the busbars 15, 16 of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 can be, for example, 40 or 60 mm. The busbar main system 7 can be, for example, a 185 mm power system or a different type of system, for example a 60 mm system or a 100 mm system. The attached or equipped electrical devices 2 may be of various types, for example fuse switch disconnectors or other types of electronic devices, for example motor starters or the like.
[0040] Adapters for circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers, motor starters and other components can be mounted on the subsystem. Fig. 34 shows, for example, two circuit breakers 2E, 2F, which are attached to the subsystems via two adapters.
[0041] In one possible embodiment, the electrical devices 2 mounted on the busbar sub-interfaces can have outgoing lines 19, which are guided through feedthrough tunnels 23 of the busbar sub-interfaces in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the adapter housing 4 towards an end face of the adapter housing 4. For example, the Fig. 1 The electrical devices 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D of the adapter device 1-1 shown on the left have 4 groups of outgoing cables 19A, 19B, 19C, 19D, which run downwards along the longitudinal axis of the adapter housing 4 towards the lower end face, with each group comprising three outgoing cables 19 per device 2 (i.e., a total of 3 x 4 = 12 outgoing cables 19). The mounting rails 13, 14 for attaching the associated connection terminal blocks 3A to 3D are located on the lower end face of the adapter housing 4. Fig. 1 In the example shown, the adapter device 1-1 shown on the left is equipped with four electrical fuse switch-disconnectors 2A to 2D. These are connected between the busbars 6 of the busbar main system 7 and the busbars 15, 16 of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 on the one hand and electrical consumers on the other hand. The electrical consumers (not shown in Fig. 1 ) are connected to terminals 27 of the terminal blocks 3A to 3D and can be connected using the Fig. 1 The fuse switch-disconnector 2 shown can be disconnected from or connected to the busbar systems. For this purpose, the fuse switch-disconnectors 2A to 2D each have manually operable levers 20 that can be operated by an operator. For example, when the hand lever 20 is in the upper position, the consumer devices (not shown) that are permanently connected to the connection terminal blocks 3A to 3D are connected to the busbar subsystems 11, 12 and draw an electrical current I from the busbar subsystems 11, 12. If the lever 20 of the fuse switch-disconnector 2 is pulled downward by an operator, the associated electrical consumer device is disconnected from the associated busbar subsystems 11, 12 and thus also from the main busbar system 7.In one possible embodiment, the busbars 6 of the main busbar system 7 have a rated current that differs from the rated current of the busbars of the busbar subsystems 11, 12. For example, the busbars 6 of the main busbar system 7 are designed for a rated current of 630 amperes, while the hybrid busbars 15, 16 of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 have a rated current of 160 amperes. Associated measuring units or measuring devices can be provided for each busbar in the adapter housing 4 of the adapter device 1. These measuring units include, for example, current measuring units and / or voltage measuring units. For example, a current transformer or other current measuring device can be installed on the access busbars, which measures a total current of the two busbar subsystems 11, 12.Furthermore, in one possible embodiment, a partial current can be measured per busbar subsystem 11, 12. Furthermore, in one possible embodiment, the electrical currents per outgoing device can be measured using a current measuring device. Depending on the configuration, current measurements can be implemented for different current outgoing devices to electrical consumers. [0079] The adapter device 1 according to the invention is not limited to the Figuren 1 bis 36 illustrated embodiments. For example, the adapter device 1 can comprise more than two busbar subsystems. Furthermore, the busbar subsystems can also comprise other types of busbars, for example solid busbars without contact slots, as in Fig. 37 The profile of the busbars of the busbar subsystems can also vary, for example, to achieve higher rated currents.
[0080] Fig. 38 shows a further embodiment with busbars 15, 16, which are designed as hybrid busbars, wherein the current-carrying rail profile is designed for a higher nominal current than in the Fig. 36 shown embodiment. The hybrid busbars 15, 16 in Fig. 38 are designed in a cross-section to fit into a rectangular envelope and thus easily replace conventional solid busbars with a rectangular cross-section. They have a contact-receiving section with contact slots and a current-carrying section with a solid cross-section, as shown in Fig. 38 recognizable. Other shapes are possible, for example a T-shaped current-carrying section. The number of parallel busbars of the various busbar subsystems 11, 12 and / or the main busbar system 7 can vary depending on the application; for example, more than three busbars can be provided per busbar system, in particular neutral or protective conductors. The shape and number of contact components can also vary depending on the application.
[0081] The adapter device 1 according to the invention allows different busbar systems to be combined flexibly. The adapter device 1 is designed such that the largest possible number of electrical devices 2 and electrical consumers can be mounted within a switch cabinet in a space-saving manner. The busbar supports can be completely built over. With the aid of the adapter device 1 according to the invention, different busbar subsystems, for example a crossboard, or conventional busbar systems can be adapted to a higher-level busbar main system 7. Accessories, in particular measuring devices, can be mounted on support rails 13, 14 of the adapter device 1 or integrated within the adapter housing 4. In one possible embodiment, these measuring devices can be connected to the main system 7 via data orBus lines deliver measurement data to a central control device, which is mounted, for example, in the switch cabinet. This allows complete control or monitoring of the attached electrical devices 2 and / or the power consumption units or power-consuming devices connected to them. The adapter device 1 according to the invention can be easily placed and mounted on an existing main busbar system 7 with parallel, horizontally running busbars 6-i with little effort. Furthermore, electrical devices 2, for example load-break switches, can be easily placed directly from the front by a technician, whereby complete contact protection is ensured. In the Fig. 40 In the arrangement shown, movable elements or configuration elements 32 are provided, which can be moved back and forth between two positions in order to expose or cover through-slots 17, 18. In the Fig. 40 In the illustrated embodiment, both sub-interfaces of the subsystems 11, 12 have four manually movable elements 32-1 to 32-4. The elements 32-1, 32-2 are each shown in a lower position, while the sliding elements 32-3, 32-4 are in the upper position. In the upper position of the sliding elements 32, the feed-through slots 17 are located directly above the contact slots of the underlying busbars of the busbar subsystems 11, 12. In the lower position of the sliding elements 32, terminal connection areas 33 are accessible from the front, as shown in Fig. 40 shown. The sliding elements 32 can be manually operated and pushed back and forth between different positions. This makes it possible to place different device types on the busbar subsystems 11, 12, namely, on the one hand, devices 2 with protruding contacts for insertion into the feed-through slots 17, 18 (and the underlying contact slots of the slotted busbars or hybrid busbars) and, on the other hand, electrical devices 2 with connections for inserting terminal clips into flat, beveled insertion devices of the terminal connection areas 33-i, which engage behind the busbars of the busbar subsystems 11, 12 to establish electrical contact and a mechanical connection. The sliding elements 33 can have mounting openings and / or coding openings to protect against incorrectly polarized connection of the devices.

In this design variant, the two sub-interfaces 11, 12 each have three rows of terminal connection areas 33-1, 33-2, 33-3. These serve for inserting terminal clamps for connecting electrical devices 2. The terminal connection areas 33-1, 33-2, 33-3 can have beveled insertion devices that serve for inserting terminal clamps of the connection terminals for connecting the devices 2.
[0086] Further embodiments are possible. For example, the busbars, in particular slotted busbars or hybrid busbars, can be coated with an electrically insulating layer to increase contact protection. In one possible embodiment, communication or data signal transmission can take place via the busbars, for example, via PLC communication.
