Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of electronic devices, in particular to a push button assembly and an electronic device. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Existing electronic devices are becoming increasingly compact. Water resistance, acoustic properties, assembly costs, and maintenance costs must all be taken into account.

[0003] Taking a handheld radio as an example, existing handheld radios primarily use three types of front-panel structures: the first design uses ultrasonic bonding of a housing front panel to a front cover. A silicone rubber pushbutton is located between the housing front panel and the front cover. Removing or replacing the silicone rubber pushbutton requires either destroying the front cover or replacing the entire front panel assembly, resulting in high maintenance costs. The second design uses an "inside-out" mounting method for a pushbutton. With this connection method, removing or replacing a pushbutton requires disassembling the main unit of the handheld radio, resulting in complicated disassembly and assembly of the main unit. The third design uses pushbuttons (P+R pushbuttons) made of a combination of plastic and silicone rubber.A P+R push button is attached to the front of the housing using a locking element or a screw. Removing or replacing the push button also requires disassembly of the main unit. Furthermore, adhesive must be applied from the inside during installation to ensure water resistance, which makes installation complicated.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0010] Below, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the application are fully and clearly explained in the embodiments of the application with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is understood that the described embodiments represent only some of the embodiments, not all of the embodiments of the application. All other embodiments that can be obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art from the embodiments of the application without inventive steps are also within the scope of the application.

[0011] It will be Fig. 1 und 2 pointed out, whereby Fig. 1 a schematic structural representation of an embodiment of a push button assembly according to the present application and Fig. 2 a schematic structural detail of the push button holder according to Fig. 1 shows. The push-button assembly 10 of the present application is used in an electronic device. The push-button assembly 10 of the present embodiment comprises a push-button circuit board 100 configured to be fixedly arranged on a housing front of the electronic device, a push-button body 102 arranged on a side of the push-button circuit board 100 facing away from the housing front, and a push-button holder 104 arranged on a side of the push-button body 102 facing away from the push-button circuit board 100 and comprising a boundary frame 1042 and a first fastening portion 1040 and a second fastening portion 1044 located on the boundary frame 1042.The first fastening section 1040 extends from the boundary frame 1042 toward a side facing the push-button circuit board 100, while the second fastening section 1044 extends outward from the boundary frame 1042. The direction of extension of the second fastening section 1044 is perpendicular to the direction of extension of the first fastening section 1040. The first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 are each configured to be inserted into a locking slot on the housing front of the electronic device, so that the push-button holder 104 is detachably connected to the housing front of the electronic device. The boundary frame 1042 serves to delimit the push-button body 102 on a side of the push-button circuit board 100 facing away from the housing front.

[0012] It is understood that the push-button circuit board 100 can be securely snapped onto the housing front of the electronic device or, alternatively, can be formed integrally on the housing front of the electronic device. The push-button body 102 is arranged on the side of the push-button circuit board 100 facing away from the housing front, and the push-button holder 104 is arranged on the side of the push-button body 102 facing away from the push-button circuit board 100. In the present exemplary embodiment, the push-button holder 104 comprises a first fastening section 1040, a second fastening section 1044, and a limiting frame 1042, such that a detachable connection to the housing front of the electronic device is established via the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044.When the push-button holder 104 is firmly connected to the housing front of the electronic device, the push-button body 102 can be firmly attached to the side of the push-button circuit board 100 facing away from the housing front by means of the limiting frame 1042, which ensures easy installation of the push-button body 102 to the electronic device. Since the push-button holder 104 is detachably connected to the housing front of the electronic device via the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044, the push-button body 102 can be replaced after removing the push-button holder 104 from the housing front, thus facilitating assembly and maintenance of the electronic device.According to one possible embodiment, the first fastening section 1040 is arranged on a first edge of the boundary frame 1042, and the second fastening section 1044 is provided in a plurality, wherein the plurality of second fastening sections 1044 are each arranged on a second edge, a third edge, and a fourth edge, which are arranged adjacent to or opposite the first edge of the boundary frame 1042. It is understood that the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 can each be a snap-in connection element, and a snap-in slot is provided on the housing front of the electronic device, which interacts with the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 of the push-button holder 104, respectively.During assembly, the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 are inserted directly into the locking slot, thus establishing the connection between the push-button holder 104 and the front housing of the electronic device. During disassembly, however, the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 are pulled out of the locking slot, allowing the push-button holder 104 to be removed from the front housing of the electronic device. This facilitates the assembly and replacement of the push-button body 102, thus facilitating the assembly and maintenance of the electronic device.

[0013] Furthermore, a through-hole 10400 is provided on the first fastening portion 1040, the arrangement direction of which is perpendicular to the extension direction of the first fastening portion 1040. When the first fastening portion 1040 is inserted into the locking slot on the housing front of the electronic device, the through-hole 10400 is connected to a mounting hole on a housing of the electronic device. It is understood that a pin, a screw, or another fastening element can be passed through the mounting hole on the housing of the electronic device and inserted into the through-hole 10400 on the first fastening portion 1040 by connecting the through-hole 10400 to a mounting hole on the housing of the electronic device when the first fastening portion 1040 is inserted into the locking slot on the housing front of the electronic device. Thus, the stable mounting of the push button holder 104 to the electronic device can be ensured.

[0014] It is further provided that the push button body 102 comprises a push button disc 1020 and the limiting frame 1042 serves to receive the push button disc 1020 and to fasten the push button disc 1020 within the limiting frame 1042.

[0015] Specifically, the push-button disk 1020 comprises a plurality of silicone rubber push buttons, and the boundary frame 1042 is provided with a plurality of receiving recesses that are uniquely assigned to the plurality of silicone rubber push buttons. The receiving recess serves to receive the silicone rubber push button and ensures that the silicone rubber push button is exposed in a protruding manner on a side of the push-button holder 104 facing away from the push-button body 102. It is understood that among the plurality of silicone rubber push buttons, for example, number keys, power buttons, and restart buttons, a corresponding function is realized by each of the silicone rubber push buttons and by a combination of some of the silicone rubber push buttons.

[0016] Furthermore, the push-button body 102 includes a snap-action disc 1022 located on a side of the push-button disc 1020 facing the push-button circuit board 100 and resting against the push-button circuit board 100. A snap-action disc 1022 is provided between the push-button circuit board 100 and the push-button disc 1020, which serves as an electrically conductive point. Pressing the push-button disc 1020 causes a corresponding point of the snap-action disc 1022 to sink, thereby contacting an electrical circuit on the push-button circuit board 100, thus establishing a circuit, allowing electrical current to flow and the entire electronic device to operate normally.Furthermore, to facilitate the installation or replacement of some silicone rubber pushbuttons in the pushbutton disc 1020, the pushbutton disc 1020 can also be formed by several separate silicone rubber pushbuttons arranged on an integral mounting bracket. Depending on the design of the pushbutton disc 1020, the snap disc 1022 can also consist of several separate metallic spring plates arranged in the same way and glued together.

[0017] Furthermore, it is provided that a double-sided adhesive tape (not shown) is provided between the snap-action disk 1022 and the push-button circuit board 100, which is arranged along the edge of the push-button circuit board 100, so that the point at which the snap-action disk 1022 rests against the push-button circuit board 100 is sealed. By arranging a double-sided adhesive tape circumferentially along the edge of the push-button circuit board 100, the seal between the snap-action disk 1022 and the push-button circuit board 100 can be ensured by the double-sided adhesive tape when the snap-action disk 1022 rests against the push-button circuit board 100, preventing the penetration of moisture from the environment in which the push-button assembly 10 is located into the push-button assembly 10 and preventing disruption of the electrical circuit due to the push-button circuit board 100 coming into contact with moisture.

[0018] According to one possible embodiment, a sound transmission hole 1000 is provided on the push-button circuit board 100, the snap-action disc 1022, the push-button disc 1020, and the push-button holder 104, each of which is connected to one another. It should be understood that the size and arrangement of the sound transmission hole 1000 on the push-button circuit board 100 should be determined taking into account the layout of the electrical circuit on the push-button circuit board 100, while the size and arrangement of the sound transmission hole 1000 on the snap-action disc 1022, the push-button disc 1020, and the push-button holder 104 should be determined both in accordance with the size and arrangement of the sound transmission hole 1000 on the push-button circuit board 100 and in consideration of the sound transmission effect of the push-button assembly 10.Furthermore, the shape of the sound transmission hole 1000 can be determined according to actual needs, and for example, a round hole, a rectangular hole, or even an elongated hole or a trapezoidal hole, as in . Fig. 1 presented, conceivable.

[0019] The location where the snap disk 1022 rests against the push button circuit board 100 can be sealed by providing a double-sided adhesive tape circumferentially along the edge of the push button circuit board 100.In addition, a double-sided adhesive tape can also be provided circumferentially on the edge of each sound transmission hole 1000 on the push button circuit board 100, so that when the snap disk 1022 rests against the push button circuit board 100, the double-sided adhesive tape on the edge of the sound transmission hole 1000 on the push button circuit board 100 further ensures the sealing effect between the snap disk 1022 and the push button circuit board 100 and prevents the penetration of moisture from the environment in which the push button assembly 10 is located into the push button assembly 10 via the interconnected sound transmission holes 1000 on the push button holder 104, the push button disk 1020, the snap disk 1022 and the push button circuit board 100 into the push button assembly 10. Thus, the push button assembly 10 can achieve a waterproof rating of IP68, which is the highest waterproof rating for connectors.

[0020] Furthermore, the push-button assembly 10 may include a speaker grille 106 disposed between the push-button disc 1020 and the push-button holder 104, which serves to prevent contaminants from entering the interior of the push-button assembly 10 through the sound passage hole 1000. It is understood that tiny amounts of contaminants could enter the push-button assembly 10 through the sound passage hole 1000 on the push-button holder 104 and the push-button disc 1020, and shielding via the speaker grille 106 largely prevents the ingress of dust or other contaminants into the interior of the push-button assembly 10, thus preventing any impairment of the normal operation of the push-button assembly 10.

[0021] It is understood that at a location corresponding to the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 on the push-button circuit board 100, the snap-action disk 1022, and the push-button disk 1020, a respective recess 1002 is provided, which serves to guide the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 through in order to insert them into the locking slot on the housing front of the electronic device. Since, among other things, the push-button circuit board 100, the snap-action disk 1022 and the push-button disk 1020 are present, by providing the recess 1002 at the location corresponding to the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 on the push-button circuit board 100, the snap-action disk 1022 and the push-button disk 1020, it can be prevented that the push-button circuit board 100, the snap-action disk 1022 and the push-button disk 1020 prevent the first fastening section 1040 and the second fastening section 1044 from being prevented from being inserted into the locking slot on the housing front of the electronic device, thereby facilitating assembly and disassembly of the push-button holder 104.

[0022] Furthermore, the present application further comprises an electronic device. Fig. 3 und 4 pointed out, whereby Fig. 3 a schematic structural representation of an embodiment of the electronic device according to the present application and Fig. 4 a schematic structural detail of the device body according to Fig. 3 The electronic device of the present embodiment includes a push-button assembly 10 according to the above embodiment. For the push-button assembly 10 of the electronic device, reference is made to the contents of the above embodiment.

[0023] The electronic device further comprises a device body 20, which includes a housing 200, a loudspeaker assembly 202 provided within the housing 200, and a housing front 204 located on the surface of the housing 200. The housing front 204 is located on one side of a sound emission surface of the loudspeaker assembly 202. The push-button assembly 10 is arranged on a side of the housing front 204 facing away from the loudspeaker assembly 202.

[0024] In the present embodiment, the push-button holder in the push-button assembly 10 is detachably connected to the housing front 204. When the push-button holder is firmly connected to the housing front 204, the push-button body in the push-button assembly 10 can be firmly attached to the side of the push-button circuit board facing away from the housing front 204 by means of the limiting frame, which ensures simple assembly of the push-button body to the device body 20. Since the push-button holder is inserted into a locking slot 2040 on the housing front 204 via the first fastening section and the second fastening section and is thus detachably connected to the housing front 204, the push-button body can be replaced after removing the push-button holder from the housing front 204, which ensures simple assembly and maintenance of the electronic device as well as low assembly and maintenance costs.

[0025] Furthermore, a mounting hole 2000 is provided on the housing 200 of the electronic device, and a pin, a screw, or other fastening element can be passed through the mounting hole 2000 on the housing 200 of the electronic device and inserted into the through-hole on the first fastening portion. When the first fastening portion is inserted into the locking slot 2040 on the housing front 204 of the electronic device, the through-hole on the first fastening portion is connected to a mounting hole 2000 on the housing 200. Thus, the stable mounting of the push-button holder to the electronic device can be ensured.

[0026] Specifically, the electronic device may be a handheld radio, a vehicle center console, or any other device with a push-button device.

[0027] During the assembly of the electronic device, the push-button circuit board is first attached to the housing front 204 of the device body 20. Then, double-sided adhesive tape is provided along the edge of the push-button circuit board, and the snap dome is adhered to the push-button circuit board using the double-sided adhesive tape. The push-button disc is then mounted on the snap dome. Finally, the push-button holder and the housing front 204 are attached via the first attachment section and the second attachment section of the push-button holder. The push-button disc is attached between the snap dome and the push-button holder via the limit frame of the push-button holder, thus completing the assembly of the entire electronic device.
