Description

[0001] The invention relates to a centrifugal pendulum absorber for a motor vehicle drive train, preferably for use in or on a clutch of this drive train, comprising a carrier and a pendulum mass pivotably mounted relative to the carrier via at least one roller body. The at least one roller body is received with a first rolling area in a (first) roller track of the carrier and with a second rolling area in a (second) roller track of the pendulum mass. Furthermore, the invention relates to a torque transmission device comprising this centrifugal pendulum absorber.

[0002] Centrifugal pendulums of this type are already well known in the art. In this context, for example, an idea filed with the German Patent and Trademark Office under the file number DE 10 2013 221 607.6 discloses a centrifugal pendulum with two pendulum masses guided along raceways on one or two support elements by means of spherical rollers.

[0003] Document WO 2015 / 058766 A1, which is considered to be the closest prior art, discloses the features of the preamble of claim 1.

[0004] However, it has been found that a disadvantage of the designs known from the prior art is that the roller conveyors of the variants implemented so far can only withstand the high loads occurring during operation if they undergo post-processing, which is a relatively complex process. In addition, the design of the roller conveyors already requires the highest possible proportion of smooth cuts so that the corresponding cut surfaces can serve directly as roller conveyors. It was therefore proposed that the corresponding components of the support or the pendulum masses be made from cold-rolled strip material, as this in principle allows for a suitable cut quality. However, this has the disadvantage of being relatively expensive. Furthermore, it is proposed that the sheet thickness be as high as possible, as this increases the surface area of the roller conveyors. However, this not only results in an increase in the weight of the centrifugal pendulum, but also in more complex manufacturing, which requires additional measures. Furthermore, the corresponding sheets are often carburized beforehand to achieve a high case hardening depth. This also leads to an increase in manufacturing costs.

[0005] It is therefore an object of the present invention to eliminate the disadvantages known from the prior art and in particular to provide a centrifugal pendulum which is easier to manufacture and yet is as wear-resistant as possible.

[0006] According to the invention, this object is achieved by a centrifugal pendulum according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are set out in the dependent claims.

[0007] In particular, this object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one of the two roller conveyors is formed partially or completely by an axially formed / extended sheet metal section such that a free edge of the axially formed sheet metal section points away from the nearest pendulum mass. By forming the roller conveyor(s) from a sheet metal section in this way, they are no longer formed directly by a cut surface, but rather by a lateral surface of the support or pendulum mass. This significantly reduces the need for post-processing of the actual cut surfaces. In addition, the roller conveyors are designed to be as wide as possible, making them even more wear-resistant.

[0008] It is advantageous if the formed sheet metal section has a region curved by the sheet metal forming, with which a partial region of the roller body can be brought into contact, and over which the partial region of the roller body preferably rolls.

[0009] Accordingly, it is also advantageous if the sheet metal section completely or partially forms a hole bearing area of a through hole forming the roller conveyor. The extension of the roller conveyor can thus be individually determined by the sheet metal section.

[0010] In this context, it is also expedient if the sheet metal section forms a radial inner side and / or a radial outer side of the hole bearing area. If both the inner side and the outer side of the hole bearing area are formed by the sheet metal section, it is further preferred if the sum of the length of the sheet metal section on the radial outer side and the length of the sheet metal section on the radial inner side (length corresponds in each case to an axial extension along a rolling axis of the roller bodies) is smaller than a width (width corresponds to radial width) of the through hole.

[0011] It is also advantageous if the carrier has two flange elements, with each flange element having a (first) roller track for each roller body, which is formed by an axially formed sheet metal section. This further increases the available guide surface / rolling surface.

[0012] The (respective) sheet metal section is advantageously formed such that it runs essentially perpendicular to a radially extending disk region of the carrier or pendulum mass. Essentially perpendicular to the disk region is understood to mean an angle of 90° ± 10° relative to the disk region.

[0013] Furthermore, it is advantageous if a transition between the sheet metal section and the disk area is formed in such a way that the radius formed by this transition is less than half the material thickness of the disk area. It has proven particularly advantageous if this radius is formed in a calibration process in a stamping tool sequence.

[0014] If the at least one roller body has a conical support surface by means of which it is axially supported on the carrier or the pendulum mass, preferably in the region of the formed sheet metal section curved by the sheet metal forming, its centering is further optimized.

[0015] Furthermore, it has proven advantageous if the (second) roller track of the pendulum mass is longer than the (first) roller track of the carrier. This results in the longest possible rolling surfaces for the roller bodies.

[0016] If the roller conveyor of the carrier and / or the roller conveyor of the pendulum mass are case-hardened, the robustness is further increased.

[0017] Furthermore, the invention relates to a torque transmission device, preferably in the form of a clutch, for a motor vehicle drive train, with a centrifugal pendulum according to the invention according to at least one of the previously described embodiments and a clutch disc connected to the carrier of the centrifugal pendulum.

[0018] In other words, the invention thus provides a centrifugal pendulum absorber with drawn / extended roller tracks. To reduce wear in a centrifugal pendulum absorber, particularly in a two-flange design, particularly one attached to a clutch disc, it is proposed that the track of the pendulum mass and / or the flange(s) be made from the formed surface of a sheet metal.

[0019] The invention will now be explained in more detail below with reference to figures, in which context various embodiments are also shown.

[0020] They show: Fig. 1 is a detailed view of a centrifugal pendulum according to the invention, cut in the longitudinal direction, according to a first embodiment, wherein a roller body mounted in roller tracks of a carrier and a pendulum mass is illustrated, Fig. 2 is a front view of a centrifugal pendulum according to the invention according to Fig. 1 with a longitudinal section Fig. 1 characteristic section line II, Fig. 3 a longitudinal section of the centrifugal pendulum as a full section, Fig. 4 a perspective view of a centrifugal pendulum according to the Figs. 1 to 3 , wherein several sheet metal sections of a flange element of the centrifugal pendulum, each forming a roller conveyor, can be seen, Fig. 5 a detailed view of the Fig. 4 with V marked area, Fig. 6 a detailed view of the sheet sections according to Fig. 5 having area of the flange element, Fig. 7 a front view of a in the centrifugal pendulum of the Fig. 1inserted flange element, Figs. 8a and 8b two longitudinal sections (with and without circumference lines) of the flange element according to Fig. 7 along the Fig. 7 with VIII-VIII marked section line, Fig. 9 a sequence of images to illustrate a manufacturing process of a flange element according to Fig. 7 implemented roller conveyor, whereby the four partial representations show the different manufacturing steps, Fig. 10 a sequence of images to illustrate the manufacture of a flange element according to a second embodiment, in which only a radial outer side of a roller conveyor is provided with the axially flared sheet metal section, and Fig. 11 a longitudinal sectional view of a torque transmission device in which the centrifugal pendulum of the Figs. 1 to 5 can be used.

[0021] The figures are merely schematic in nature and therefore serve solely to clarify the invention. The same elements are designated by the same reference numerals.

[0022] With Fig.11 A preferred application area of a centrifugal pendulum 1 according to the invention, described in more detail below, is illustrated. The centrifugal pendulum 1 is shown in this Fig.11 shown schematically; its further development is then shown in the Figs. 1 to 10 The centrifugal pendulum 1 is in Fig. 11 It is non-rotatably mounted on a clutch disc 22 of a torque transmission device 21. The torque transmission device 21 is implemented as a clutch, namely a friction clutch. The centrifugal pendulum absorber 1 typically serves to absorb torsional vibrations in a motor vehicle drivetrain and, together with the torque transmission device 21, is preferably used between an internal combustion engine and a transmission.

[0023] The centrifugal pendulum 1, as with the Figs. 1 to 3 in connection with a first embodiment, has a carrier 2. The carrier 2 is designed in several parts. The carrier 2 has two flange elements 14, 15, each forming a first roller track 6 for a roller body 3. The flange elements 14 and 15 form Fig. 2 a plurality of first roller tracks 6 arranged distributed in the circumferential direction. Each first roller track 6 of the first flange element 14 is aligned with a first roller track 6 of the second flange element 15 axially / in the axial direction (i.e., along a rolling axis 24 of the roller body 3). The respective first roller track 6 extends in the circumferential direction of the flange element 14, 15 essentially in a kidney shape and is formed by an axial through-hole 11. In each first roller track 6 of a flange element 14, 15, the roller body 3 runs with a first rolling area 5.

[0024] A pendulum mass 4 is accommodated axially between the regions of the flange elements 14, 15 forming the first roller tracks 6, which is guided in its pendulum / pivoting movement relative to the carrier 2 via the roller bodies 3. For this purpose, the pendulum mass 4 has a second roller track 8. The roller body 3 is accommodated in its axial region between the first roller tracks 6, forming a second rolling area 7 in this second roller track 8. The pendulum mass 4 is thus pivotally guided via the roller bodies 3 and by their accommodation in the roller tracks 6, 8 in the centrifugal force field during operation of the torque transmission device 21. Fig. 2It can also be seen that two roller bodies 3 are present for each pendulum mass 4, wherein these two roller bodies 3 assigned to a pendulum mass 4 run in a continuous first roller track 6 of the pendulum mass 4. Typically, several pendulum masses 4, here three, arranged distributed in the circumferential direction are pivotally mounted on the carrier 2 in this way.

[0025] According to the invention, each of the first roller conveyors 6 is formed by an axially folded / formed / flared sheet metal section 9 of the flange elements 14, 15 such that a free edge or cut edge of the axially formed sheet metal section 9 points away from the nearest pendulum mass 4. This is possible with the different Figures 1 to 9illustrated with reference to the first embodiment. The two flange elements 14, 15 made of sheet metal are thus provided in the region of their first roller conveyors 6 in the same way with a plurality of axially formed sheet metal sections 9, which directly form the first roller conveyor 6, wherein the free edges or the cut edges of the formed sheet metal sections 9 of the two flange elements 14, 15 point away from each other.

[0026] This forming process is carried out in conjunction with Fig. 9shown in detail using the example of the second flange element 15, although this process naturally also applies to the first flange element 14. Accordingly, a metal sheet / steel sheet, preferably a hot-rolled strip, is first provided with a certain material thickness 19, which is then machined such that the axially projecting sheet metal section 9 is created. First, a small through-hole 23 is formed (preferably by punching or cutting). The sheet metal section 9 is then flared, i.e. axially deformed such that a through-hole 11 is created, which forms the first roller conveyor 6 at least on its radial outer side 12 and on a radial inner side 13. In a final calibration process, the length of the sheet metal section 9 is increased again on the outer side 12 and on the inner side 13.This creates a radius 18 at a transition 17 between a radially extending disc area 16 of the second flange element 15 and the sheet metal section 9, which is smaller than half the material thickness 19.

[0027] With Fig. 9 In the finished state according to the rightmost partial representation in section, it can also be seen that the sum of the length / axial extension I1 of the sheet metal section 9 on the radial outer side 12 and the length / axial extension I3 of the sheet metal section 9 on the radial inner side 13 is smaller than the radial extension I2 ( / width / width) of the through hole 11 (also referred to as the track opening).

[0028] This creates a one-piece sheet metal section 9 on the respective flange element 14, 15 in the form of a sheet metal cup, which extends / is flared in the axial direction. Its previously punched or cut edge 25 is thus axially aligned and thus radially spaced / not in frictional contact with the roller body 3 and points away from the nearest pendulum mass 4 or the one to be guided. In particular, the formed sheet metal section has a region curved by the sheet metal forming, with which a partial region of the roller body can be brought into contact and over which the partial region of the roller body preferably rolls.

[0029] With Fig. 1It is also clear that the roller body 3 has a conically shaped support surface 20 in an area between each first roller conveyor 6 and the pendulum mass 4, which axially bears against a flange element 14, 15, preferably in the area of the respective formed sheet metal section 9 that is curved due to the sheet metal forming, and thus (axially) center the roller body 3 in the axial space between the flange elements 14, 15.

[0030] It can also be seen that each first roller conveyor 6 has a smaller length / axially shorter and thus a smaller contact surface towards the roller body 3 than the second roller conveyor 8.

[0031] Furthermore, the respective first and second roller conveyors 6, 8 are case-hardened.

[0032] As in Fig. 5 As can be seen, this sheet metal section 9 preferably runs around the entire circumference of the hole bearing area 10 forming the through hole 11. Alternatively, as in connection with Fig. 10 illustrated, however, it is in principle also possible to provide only a circumferential area of this through hole 11 / this hole bearing area 10 with the sheet metal section 9, then preferably the area towards the radial outer side 12.

[0033] In this context, for the sake of completeness, it should also be mentioned that in further embodiments, the pendulum mass 4 is alternatively or additionally implemented with such a sheet metal section 9. The pendulum mass 4 is then also completely formed from a metal sheet / steel sheet, preferably hot-rolled strip.

[0034] In other words, the inventive solution to the problem consists in using the sheet metal surface as a roller conveyor 6 (instead of the cutting edge 25). The sheet metal surface has fundamental qualities, which change the measures as follows: Tight cutting clearance in the tool is no longer required, since the cutting edge quality no longer plays a role. The sheets (14, 15, 4) are preferably formed from a hot-rolled strip. The sheet thickness can be selected to be thinner, since the track width is no longer dependent on the sheet thickness. Pre-carburizing of the sheets can be omitted, since increasing the rolling surface reduces the strength requirement.

[0035] The invention therefore concerns the following points: 1) Centrifugal pendulum 1 consisting of rollers 3 and a support 2 formed from sheet metal and pendulum masses 4, wherein the track 6, 8 of the pendulum mass 4 or the support 2 consists of the formed surface of the sheet metal. 2) Centrifugal pendulum 1 consisting of rollers 3 and a support 2 formed from sheet metal and pendulum masses 4, wherein the sheet metal cut edge 25 has no contact with roller 3 and is therefore not a functional surface. 3) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to item 1 or 2, wherein the tracks 6, 8 are formed from the bent sheet metal part that was originally in the track area. 4) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to item 3, wherein the tracks 6, 8 are bent at an angle of 90°±10° to the remaining part. 5) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to item 3, wherein the tracks 6, 8 are calibrated in a stamping tool sequence. This displaces the material in the area of the corner, so the radius 18 is smaller than half the material thickness 19.6) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to point 4, where the rollers 3 have a conicity of 20° adapted to the track installation angle. This achieves self-centering. 7) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to point 3, where the track 6, 8 has a larger area in the center than on the sides. This protects the central area with the highest rolling load against excessive pressure. 8) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to point 3, where the sum of the upper and lower axial extensions of the track 6, 8 is smaller than the track opening (I1+I3). <I2 nach . Fig. 9 ). 9) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to point 3, with only the upper side of track 6, 8 bent. Roller 3 does not roll on the lower side and therefore does not require a bent track at this point. 10) Centrifugal pendulum 1 according to point 3, with track 6, 8 case-hardened.
