Description

[0001] The invention relates to a mobile fence element according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a modularly constructed barrier fence made up of several such fence elements.

[0002] Mobile, or transportable, fencing elements are becoming increasingly important and are used, for example, for the temporary containment of demonstrations or for security in stadiums or around ships in ports. The particular advantage of such fencing elements lies in their mobility, as they can be erected and dismantled quickly. Several fencing elements are connected together to form a barrier. More recently, surveillance devices such as cameras or motion sensors have been increasingly used to identify individuals approaching the barrier. However, such surveillance devices require electrical or data cables that must be laid along the barrier or its base.In the case of mobile fence elements and barrier fences formed from them, these electrical or data lines are often only fixed on the side to be shielded on the outside of the base for reasons of time, and are therefore accessible from the outside with some skill, so that there is a risk that they can be cut or damaged, for example by sharp-edged tools, and thus the monitoring devices are rendered inoperable.

[0003] Fence elements of this type for constructing a barrier fence are described, for example, in EP 1 945 888 B1. The individual, identically constructed fence elements each comprise a base with at least two posts, between which a surface structure is arranged. Each post is inserted into a receiving groove or bore in the base and fixed therein. In this case, the surface structure is a metal mesh. The base also has recesses in its bottom area for a lifting device, so that, for example, the lifting forks of a forklift can be inserted into these recesses and the fence element can be transported in this way.In the known example, a steel cable is used to connect the individual fence elements to each other. This cable is guided through eyelets on the outside of the base, and tensioning it prevents an unwanted separation of the individual fence elements of the barrier fence.

[0004] With this type of barrier fence, a disadvantage is that the assembly and fastening of the steel cable to connect the individual fence elements requires considerable additional effort, and handling such a steel cable is relatively difficult. Furthermore, the eyelets used to thread the steel cable through can be damaged during transport and thus rendered unusable.

[0005] In connection with the Figure 8EP 1 945 888 B1 describes a variant of a fence panel base in which a pipe is embedded in the base material. This pipe can be used, for example, to run electrical cables or to guide the aforementioned rope. A disadvantage of this design, however, is that threading the cables or rope into the pipe is very complex and requires considerable time and skill. Furthermore, when two fence panels are adjacent, a gap remains between the pipes, as they cannot seamlessly merge. This gap poses the risk that the electrical cables inside the pipe could be damaged or severed by external force.

[0006] A known design of mobile fence elements is described, for example, in DE 10 2015 107 273 B3, the solution for connecting the bases of which can also be used in the present case.

[0007] CN 208 885 121 U describes a fence element comprising a concrete base in the form of a cable trough with two side walls of different heights enclosing a channel between them, and several pillars supported by the base, between which a flat structure is arranged, each pillar being fixed to the higher side wall. The cable trough is open at the top, has a cable outlet in the lower side wall, and may be covered by a cover. Additional components, such as square steel bars or square tubes, may be embedded in the underside of the base to allow it to be moved with a forklift. Lighting may be provided at the top of the pillars.

[0008] The invention is based on the objective of providing a mobile fence element with a simple structure, wherein a modular barrier fence is formed within a very short time by connecting several fence elements, in which an unwanted separation of the fence elements by unauthorized persons is made difficult or impossible and willful damage or destruction of cables or electrical lines for existing monitoring devices is no longer possible.

[0009] The invention solves this problem with the features of independent claims 1 and 9.

[0010] Further embodiments of the invention are the subject of the respective subsequent dependent claims.

[0011] A mobile fence element comprising a base with at least one recess for a lifting device and at least two pillars, between which a surface structure is arranged, wherein each of the pillars is inserted into a receiving groove or a receiving bore of the base and fixed therein, was further developed according to the invention in such a way that the base has on one side, on the side to be shielded of the mobile fence element, a channel designed as a receiving groove open transversely to the surface structure for receiving cables or tension ropes, which extends continuously along the entire length of the base.

[0012] The invention effectively avoids the disadvantages of the prior art described above. Since the channel for receiving the cables, which can be, for example, electrical or data lines or tension cables, is designed as an open channel, the cables or tension cables can be laid within the channel very easily. This makes the assembly of the barrier fence simple and time-saving. Because the channels are recessed into the bases of the individual fence elements, they are inaccessible from the outside, i.e., from the side to be protected. Thus, sabotage of the cables or electrical lines, or of the tension cables, can be prevented easily and very effectively.

[0013] The pillars can be fixed to the base using either a material bond, a form-fit, or a force-fit connection. A material bond between pillar and base refers specifically to the pillars being inserted directly into the base during its manufacture and bonded to it, which can be easily achieved, for example, through a casting process.

[0014] A force-fit connection between pillar and base is one example of a conceivable option.

[0015] Furthermore, a positive-locking connection between the pillar and the base can be established, for example, via a screw connection, which is generally detachable. However, the screw connection can be concealed by an interlocking connection of the adjacent bases, thus preventing unauthorized loosening, which is a significant advantage. Additionally, safety measures are known for such screw connections that also prevent unwanted loosening and could be used here if necessary. To facilitate the assembly of the barrier fence and to achieve a concealed arrangement of the screw connection between the pillar and the base, one proposed solution of the invention is that at least one receiving groove is incorporated directly into the base flange and at least one receiving groove is incorporated directly into the engagement contour of the base.During the manufacture of the barrier fence, the ends of the fence element's posts are inserted into these grooves and, for example, screwed to the base or fixed by potting in the grooves.

[0016] The bases used can be made from different materials. A very simple design variant, for example, involves casting the bases from concrete. The solution according to the invention can be implemented very easily in this case by forming the channel within the base during its manufacture.

[0017] Since concrete is a very hard, brittle, and sometimes sharp-edged material, a first embodiment of the invention involves inserting a profile element into the channel, lining it and closing it with a cover. The profile element and the cover can advantageously be simple plastic or aluminum molded parts. The only important factor is that the profile element corresponds to the inner contour of the channel and, like the cover, has an inner surface that prevents damage to the cables or tensioning ropes laid in the channel. The cover also ensures that the cables or tensioning ropes laid within the channel are correctly positioned and secured and cannot become unintentionally dislodged from their support provided by the channel.Furthermore, such a design of the channel with a profile element and a cover represents a significant simplification with regard to the installation of the cables or tension cables and thus the entire barrier fence, resulting in considerable time savings.

[0018] According to a further development of the invention, a positive-locking or force-locking connection should exist between the profile element and the cover when the channel is closed. For example, snap-fit or latching connections are conceivable, for which both the profile element and the cover have interacting elements.

[0019] The profile elements can be inserted into the channel of the base using a material-fit connection, for example, by adhesive bonding, or a form-fit connection. However, an improved embodiment of the invention involves the inclusion of dowel blocks in the channel of the base for fixing the profile elements. The dowel blocks are made of materials suitable for receiving screws. For example, the dowel blocks can be made of wood or hard plastic and, in particularly advantageous versions, have threads that correspond to the screws. This makes the installation of the profile elements within the channel of a base simple and quick.

[0020] As previously mentioned, the base can be a single concrete segment. An alternative design option is a fillable hollow structure. This allows the base to be made of sheet metal or plastic, for example, and filled with sand or similar materials on-site to achieve the necessary weight for the safety of the barrier fence. This simplifies the transport of the individual bases or fence elements, as the overall weight of the fence elements is reduced until they are assembled into a complete barrier fence.

[0021] As is generally known, the surface structure of the fence element used here can be a panel, a slatted frame, a grid, or a mesh structure. If, for example, a panel is used as the surface structure, it can also be used as an advertising medium or for conveying information, so that, for instance, images can be projected onto such a panel. Furthermore, a panel also provides excellent privacy screening.

[0022] As has been emphasized several times, barrier fences of the type concerned here are predominantly used to shield security-relevant areas. Therefore, it must be ensured in every case that the individual fence elements cannot be separated from one another, even by force. For this reason, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the base has a base flange on one of its end faces and an engagement contour on the end face opposite the base flange, so that the base flange of one of at least two interconnected fence elements can be positively engaged in the engagement contour of another fence element arranged adjacent to this one. This positive-locking connection ensures that separation of the fence elements from the side to be protected is not possible, even with the use of tools and / or force.

[0023] A specific embodiment of the solution described above consists, according to the invention, in the base flange and the engagement contour of two adjacent fence elements being designed to interlock in a toothed manner. Since the base is crucial for the stability of the fence element and thus of the entire barrier fence, it has a suitable weight that must be sufficient to absorb or counteract forces acting on the fence system, such as those that can arise from wind or physical impact. The high weight of the base also offers the advantage that the individual fence elements cannot be easily separated from one another. Furthermore, if the aforementioned toothed connection is provided, the connection between the bases can be improved, thus preventing unauthorized separation of the fence system.

[0024] According to the present invention, a modular barrier fence consists of several interconnected, mobile fence elements, as previously described in detail. It is of particular importance that the channels of two adjacent and interconnected fence elements are directly adjacent to one another, thus forming a continuous channel along the barrier fence.

[0025] This highlights the key advantage of the inventive design of the fence elements with a channel configured as an open receiving groove. For example, when very long barrier fences are erected, correspondingly long cables or tensioning ropes must also be laid. In the prior art publication EP 1 945 888 B1, it was proposed to embed pipes in the concrete base and lay the cables or tensioning ropes inside the pipes. The effort required for this is considerable, and if individual fence elements need to be repaired, the entire tensioning rope or the entire length of the cables must first be removed from the pipes in order to remove a single fence element from the barrier fence and, for example, replace it with a new one. This is no longer necessary with the invention. Thanks to the open design of the channel, a single fence panel can easily be removed from the barrier fence and replaced with a new one. This simply requires opening the channel in the affected section, provided it is closed by a cover, and removing the cable or tension wire. No further costs are therefore necessary for repair or replacement.

[0026] However, the barrier fence according to the invention has further, very important features. According to one embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the barrier fence has at least one camera base on its side to be shielded, with corresponding engagement geometries, which is equipped with a mast for monitoring devices and / or with a control cabinet.

[0027] To avoid unnecessarily complicating the installation of the barrier fence through the use of camera bases, a further development of the invention provides that the camera base has cable channels for extending the cables of the bases. Thus, such a camera base has the same features as the bases of the other fence elements. The camera base can also include posts and a surface structure arranged between the posts, similar to the fence elements described above. This allows the camera base to be easily integrated into the barrier fence without requiring any additional effort.

[0028] Since the camera base must accommodate various electrical cables, it is advantageous in this particular case if the cable management channels consist of pipes inserted or molded into the camera base. Preferably, these are plastic pipes, as this prevents the risk of damage to the installed cables.

[0029] A further special feature of a barrier fence according to the invention is that it has corner bases at corners with channels corresponding to the bases or camera bases and with corresponding engagement contours, which allow the lateral connection of two fence elements at an angle, preferably at a right angle to each other. This simple method not only enables a straight design of the barrier fence, but also allows it to be erected around corners. This makes the barrier fence very flexible overall and adaptable to different local conditions.

[0030] In this sense, according to one embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the barrier fence has left and right corner bases in order to further improve the previously described flexibility of its design. As already described in connection with the fixing of the profile elements within the channel of a base, it is also advantageous for the design of the channels of the corner bases and the camera bases to provide an adhesive bond or dowel blocks for fixing the profile elements, so that profile elements can also be inserted into these channels, which can then be closed by suitable covers.

[0031] In particularly critical areas, it is unfortunately sometimes necessary to reinforce a barrier fence with barbed wire or NATO wire. According to one embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the posts, viewed longitudinally along the barrier fence, have a Y-shape. The spread created by the Y-shape at the upper end of the posts allows for the simplified insertion of the barbed wire, which is supplied pre-assembled on rolls and thus has a spiral shape. The barbed wire or NATO wire is therefore simply inserted into the Y-shape of the posts.

[0032] The aforementioned design of the base with recesses on the bottom allows, for example, the use of a forklift truck whose lifting forks can be inserted directly into the recesses, thus enabling the transport of the fence elements and the assembly of the barrier fence from several fence elements. Accordingly, the lifting device can be a forklift truck or a crane. The camera bases and corner bases also have, according to one embodiment of the invention, at least one recess for a lifting device. To facilitate the transport of the individual fence elements and, furthermore, to enable the assembly of the barrier fence, hooks or eyelets can, of course, also be incorporated into the base. In particular, hooks or eyelets incorporated into the base can be used for transport by means of a crane whose boom is equipped with lifting devices compatible with the hooks or eyelets.

[0033] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The exemplary embodiments shown do not represent a limitation to the variants depicted, but merely serve to illustrate a principle of the invention.

[0034] Identical or similar components are always designated with the same reference numerals. To illustrate the functionality according to the invention, the figures show only highly simplified schematic representations, omitting components not essential to the invention. However, this does not mean that such components are not present in a solution according to the invention.

[0035] It shows: Figure 1: a spatial representation of a barrier fence consisting of several fence elements, Figure 2: the view of a barrier fence from the side to be screened, corresponding to the direction of view of arrow II. Figure 1 Figure 3: a base of a fence element in a side view, Figure 4: a view in the direction of arrow IV from Figure 3 on the base, Figure 5: a view of a channel equipped with a profile element and a cover in a sectional view according to the arrow V from Figure 2 Figure 6: a profile element for use in a channel, Figure 7: a cover for connection with the profile element and for closing the channel, Figure 8: a camera base that is not yet potted, Figure 9: a corner base as a right-hand version and Figure 10: a corner base as a left-hand version.

[0036] In the Figure 1Figure 16 shows a spatial representation of a barrier fence 16 consisting of several fence elements 1. The barrier fence 16 comprises several fence elements 1 of varying lengths, each consisting of a base 2. In the example shown, the base has grooves 7 at its ends into which posts 4 and 5 are inserted and secured. A surface structure 6, in this case a steel mesh, is arranged between the posts 4 and 5. Viewed longitudinally, the posts 4 and 5 each have a Y-shape, allowing barbed wire 31 to be inserted into the resulting space to prevent climbing over the barrier fence 16. The barrier fence 16 also features various monitoring devices mounted at the top of a mast 18.A motion sensor 19 and a surveillance or infrared / thermal camera 20 are indicated there. Of course, other types of surveillance devices can also be used on such a mast 18 in any combination. The surveillance devices 19, 20 require electrical cables or data cables, which must be laid inside the mast 18 and also along the barrier fence 16, specifically on the side opposite the area to be shielded. To prevent such electrical or data cables from being damaged or severed by sharp-edged tools during violent attacks on the barrier fence 16, a channel 8 designed as an open receiving groove is incorporated into the base 2 of each fence element 1. This channel is lined with profile elements 10 in a manner described in more detail below to prevent damage to the electrical or data cables. In the area of mast 18 for the monitoring devices 19, 20, it is generally necessary to provide a control cabinet 21. This control cabinet 21 is installed in the... Figure 1In the illustrated embodiment of a barrier fence 16, a camera base 17 is mounted on a camera base, which also supports the mast 18. The fence element on which the control cabinet 21 is mounted is narrower than the other fence elements 1 of the barrier fence 16 shown. Since the bases 2 of the fence elements 1 are usually cast from a concrete material, the outwardly open channel 8 can be easily integrated into the base 2 during its manufacture. Furthermore, each base 2 has recesses 3 on its bottom side, designed for the engagement of a lifting device. The lifting device could, for example, be a forklift truck, whose forks engage in the recesses 3 to lift and transport the corresponding fence element 1. This also provides mobility for the individual fence element 1.

[0037] The Figure 2illustrates the connection to the description of Figure 1 The depicted barrier fence 16 is shown in a perspective that corresponds to arrow II from Figure 1 corresponds.

[0038] From the Figure 3 A base 2 of a fence element 1 is shown as a separate component in a side view. This view clearly shows that the channel 8 is designed as an open receiving groove. In the representation of the Figure 3No profile elements 10 are inserted into the channel 8, so the dowel blocks 11 inserted therein are visible. The dowel blocks 11 are used to fasten the profile elements 10 in the channel. They facilitate fixing the profile elements 10 with screws or other fasteners, such as clamps or rivets. The dowel blocks 11 can be made of, for example, hard plastic or wood. When the base 2 is manufactured from concrete, the dowel blocks 11 are inserted into the base 2 during the casting process. The base 2 also has different engagement geometries on its end faces 12 and 13. A base flange 14 is formed on end face 12, while an engagement contour 15 in the form of a recessed geometry matching the base flange 14 is provided on end face 13.In this way, several bases 2 can be coupled together in a longitudinal direction in a form-fitting manner, whereby the connection can also be designed in a toothed manner.

[0039] From the Figure 4 a glance in the direction of arrow IV Figure 3 on the base 2. The illustration provides an improved view of the described engagement geometry of the base 2, consisting of engagement contours 15 and base flanges 14, which interlock when several bases 2 are joined together. In the Figure 4 The previously described receiving grooves 7 for the insertion of pillars 4 and 5 are also clearly visible.

[0040] The Figure 5 allows a view of a channel 8 equipped with a profile element 10 and a cover 9 in a sectional view according to the viewing direction of the arrow V. Figure 2The profile element 10 has an external geometry corresponding to the cross-section of the channel 8, allowing it to be easily inserted into the channel 8. The previously described dowel blocks 11 also enable reliable fixation of the profile element 10 within the channel 8. After the electrical or data cables have been inserted into the channel 8, the channel 8 is closed by the cover 9. For this purpose, the profile element 10 and the cover 9 have corresponding engagement geometries.

[0041] The Figure 6Figure 10 shows a profile element 10 for use in a channel 8. This is a one-piece molded plastic or aluminum part with a U-shaped cross-section. Accordingly, the profile element 10 has two vertical legs 25 on its sides, each of which has a groove 26 on its outer end that transitions into a hook-shaped contour 27. On the inner side, the end sections of the vertical legs 25 each have a ribbed structure 28.

[0042] The one in Figure 7 The cover 9 shown is suitable for the profile element 10 according to Figure 6 The design includes a leg on its underside, which is not visible when mounted, and which has a corresponding ribbed structure 29 corresponding to the ribbed structure 28 of the profile element 10. Furthermore, the claw 30 formed on the cover 9 engages in the groove 26 of the profile element 10 when the cover 9 is mounted.

[0043] The description of Figure 1 The previously mentioned camera base 17 is available in an un-potted version in the Figure 8 The illustration shows that the hollow interior of the camera base 17 can be viewed, revealing that it has various cable routing channels 22 used to guide electrical or data cables to the control cabinet 21 or the mast 18. When the camera base 17 is potted, dowel blocks 11 or screw sleeves can also be provided to facilitate mounting the control cabinet 21 onto the camera base after its completion. The camera base 17 also has several recesses 3 on its bottom side, which serve for the engagement of lifting forks of a hoist. Furthermore, the illustration shows that... Figure 8It also shows that the camera base 17 is equipped with intervention contours 14 and 15, which enable direct coupling with the bases 2 of the barrier fence 16.

[0044] Finally, the Figure 9 and 10 Two special versions of the bases are available. These are corner bases 23 and 24, which, as so-called left and right versions, allow the barrier fence 16 to be guided at an angle, preferably at a right angle, thus enabling the creation of fence corners. Corner bases 23 and 24 also have suitable engagement contours 14 and 15 for connection to the bases 2. Dowel blocks 11 are also provided in the inferred channel 8. REFERENCE MARK LIST:
