Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a mouthpiece for a personal hydration system and a personal hydration system comprising a mouthpiece.

[0002] Examples of a mouthpiece for a personal hydration system are disclosed in US 2015 / 196148 A1, DE 86 18 112 U1 or FR 526 303 A.

[0003] It is known to use personal hydration systems that allow users to drink while participating in athletic or recreational physical activities. These personal hydration systems typically have a bladder-like fluid reservoir that is carried in a pack mounted on the back or waist. One end of a flexible tube is connected to the reservoir through an outlet port and another end of the flexible tube is connected to a mouthpiece. The tube allows the mouthpiece to be worn in the user's mouth to allow the user to draw water from the reservoir at will.

[0004] Although personal hydration systems have proven to be a significant improvement over traditional water bottles, they do have some drawbacks. One drawback of current mouthpieces is that they are complex to manufacture and use. Indeed, some current hydration systems are configured for use in applications such as sports, recreational activities, or military activities. For military use in a Nuclear, Radiological, Biological, and Chemical (NRBC) configuration, these hydration systems require modification of the mouthpiece to connect it to the NRBC protective masks.

[0005] The invention aims to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing in particular a single tip for a versatile, ergonomic, easy-to-use personal hydration system which is easily adapted to different activities in non-NRBC and NRBC environments, i.e. with or without wearing an NRBC respiratory protection mask.

[0006] In a first aspect, the present invention relates to a mouthpiece for a personal hydration system including a means for storing a liquid, said mouthpiece comprising: means for conveying a liquid, selection means for configuring the nozzle in a position chosen from: a closed position in which the liquid conveying means are blocked, a first position in which the liquid passes through the conveying means to allow hydration directly by mouth and a second position in which the conveying means are connected to docking means connected to a protective mask and in which the liquid passes through the conveying means and the docking means of the protective mask to allow hydration by mouth via the protective mask; wherein the liquid conveying means comprise a central cylindrical body surmounted by an arm arranged perpendicular to the central cylindrical body, said arm comprising a first end connected to a teat and a second end connected to the docking means of the protective mask;and wherein the nozzle comprises a three-way valve. ;

[0007] In a second aspect, the present invention relates to a mouthpiece for a personal hydration system including a means for storing a liquid, said mouthpiece comprising: means for conveying a liquid, selection means for configuring the tip in a position chosen from: a closed position in which the liquid conveying means are blocked, a first position in which the liquid passes through the conveying means to allow hydration directly by mouth and a second position in which the conveying means are connected to docking means connected to a protective mask and in which the liquid passes through the conveying means and the docking means of the protective mask to allow hydration by mouth via the protective mask; in which: the liquid conveying means comprise an outer cylindrical body, a central cylindrical body, an inner cylindrical body, a movable valve and an elastic element, the inner cylindrical body being arranged in the central cylindrical body, the outer cylindrical body cooperating with the central cylindrical body, the movable valve being arranged in the inner cylindrical body, said movable valve being connected to the elastic element; the central cylindrical body and the inner cylindrical body comprise an upper face including an opening in which an upper face of the movable valve can engage; the central cylindrical body is movable; and the outer cylindrical body comprises an upper face including an opening crossed by the central cylindrical body.

[0008] The mouthpiece for a personal hydration system according to the invention is unique, ergonomic, easy to implement for the user and requires no modification to adapt to various applications. The mouthpiece is configured so as to allow liquid intake by the mouth directly or via a connection on a protective mask. Thus, a single mouthpiece is used for two distinct applications.

[0009] In the embodiment where the liquid conveying means comprise an outer cylindrical body, a central cylindrical body, an inner cylindrical body, a movable valve and an elastic element, the inner cylindrical body being arranged in the central cylindrical body, the outer cylindrical body cooperating with the central cylindrical body, the movable valve being arranged in the inner cylindrical body, said movable valve being connected to the elastic element, the outer cylindrical body, the central cylindrical body, the inner cylindrical body, the movable valve and the elastic element cooperate so that the nozzle can reach a position chosen from the closed position, the first position or the second position.

[0010] In one embodiment, the elastic element is a spring.

[0011] In the embodiment where the central cylindrical body and the internal cylindrical body comprise an upper face including an opening in which an upper face of the movable valve can engage, the upper face of the movable valve is arranged so as to block the liquid conveying means, i.e. the positioning of the central cylindrical body, of the internal cylindrical body are in the closed position and do not allow the liquid to reach the conveying means. Furthermore, it is possible to unlock and pull only the central cylindrical body (first position). Finally, a connection with the docking means of the protective mask is possible so that the liquid passes through the conveying means and the docking means of the protective mask, by exerting pressure on the movable valve so that the movable valve and the elastic element are retracted (second position).

[0012] In one embodiment, when the nozzle is configured in the second position, the valve and the elastic element operate as a self-sealing system. In this embodiment, if the docking means are disconnected from the conveying means intentionally or involuntarily, the elastic element moves from a retracted position to an extended position so that the upper face of the movable valve engages the upper faces of the central cylindrical body and the inner cylindrical body and thus blocks the supply of liquid.

[0013] In the embodiment where the central cylindrical body is movable, the central cylindrical body slides, for example, along the outer cylindrical body.

[0014] In one embodiment, the central cylindrical body comprises radial rotation means for rotating in grooves in the outer cylindrical body. In this embodiment, the radial rotation means easily rotate in the grooves in the outer cylindrical body so as to reach the closed position or the first position by vertical displacement of the central cylindrical body.

[0015] Preferably, the radial rotation means are bayonets.

[0016] In another embodiment, the central cylindrical body comprises friction means allowing its vertical displacement.

[0017] In one embodiment, the central cylindrical body is a teat, for example a non-drip teat. In particular, the central cylindrical body behaves like a teat when the nozzle is configured in the first position.

[0018] For this, the external cylindrical body, the central cylindrical body, the internal cylindrical body and the movable valve are made of polymer.

[0019] Preferably, the outer cylindrical body, the central cylindrical body, the inner cylindrical body and the movable valve are suitable for food contact. Thus, they meet the regulatory or normative requirements guaranteeing that there is no risk of toxicity induced by the release of toxins linked to the polymers in the liquids.

[0020] In one embodiment, the outer cylindrical body, the central cylindrical body, the inner cylindrical body and the movable valve are anti-allergenic.

[0021] In one embodiment, the docking means of the protective mask are connected to a pipette arranged in the protective mask. In particular, when the tip is configured in the second position, it is connected to a protective mask.

[0022] For example, in the closed position, the upper face of the central cylindrical body, the upper face of the inner cylindrical body and the upper face of the movable valve are aligned so that liquid cannot escape from the nozzle.

[0023] For example, to ensure liquid intake directly into a user's mouth, the user can rotate or pull the central cylindrical body, causing rotation of the radial rotation means, in the grooves of the outer cylindrical body, or translation from the closed position to the first position. The user can then suck the liquid directly into his mouth.

[0024] For example, to ensure liquid intake via the protective mask, from the closed position to the second position, the user can exert pressure on the movable valve so that the elastic element and the movable valve are retracted. The docking means can then be connected to the movable valve so that the liquid passes through the docking means of the protective mask connected to a pipette which is located in the protective mask. The user can then suck up the liquid via the pipette of the protective mask.

[0025] To ensure liquid intake via the protective mask, from the first position to the second position, the user can turn or push the central cylindrical body, causing a rotation of the radial rotation means in the grooves of the external cylindrical body or a translation from the first position to the closed position. The docking means can then be connected to the movable valve so that the liquid passes through the docking means of the protective mask connected to a pipette which is located in the protective mask. The user can then suck up the liquid via the pipette of the protective mask.

[0026] For example, to lock the tip from the first position to the closed position, the user simply pushes or rotates the central cylindrical body towards the outer cylindrical body. This locks the tip and ensures a seal.

[0027] For example, to lock the nozzle from the second position to the closed position, it is then sufficient to remove the docking means so that the elastic element passes from a retracted position to an extended position so that the upper face of the movable valve engages in the upper faces of the central cylindrical body and the internal cylindrical body and thus blocks the supply of liquid. In this example, the movable valve and the elastic element operate as a self-sealing system. Thus, the nozzle is locked and the seal is ensured.

[0028] In the embodiment where the liquid conveying means comprise a central cylindrical body surmounted by an arm arranged perpendicular to the central cylindrical body, said arm comprising a first end connected to a teat and a second end connected to the means for docking the protective mask, the central cylindrical body and the arm cooperate so that the nozzle can reach a position chosen from the closed position, the first position or the second position.

[0029] In the embodiment where the nozzle comprises a three-way valve, the three-way valve can then rotate so as to block the liquid conveying means, i.e. the first and second ends of the arm (closed position); to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means to reach the teat, i.e. to block only the second end of the arm (first position); or to allow connection with the docking means of the protective mask and to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means and the docking means of the protective mask, i.e. to block only the first end of the arm (second position).

[0030] In one embodiment, the three-way valve includes a pivot about which it rotates to select one of said positions.

[0031] In one embodiment, the nozzle comprises a movable valve and an elastic element. The movable valve and the elastic element operate as a self-sealing system. Preferably, the movable valve and the elastic element are arranged in the second end of the arm of the conveying means. In this embodiment, when the docking means are connected to the second end of the arm, the elastic element is in the retracted position so that the liquid passes through the nozzle conveying means and the protective mask docking means. Furthermore, if the protective mask docking means are unintentionally disconnected from the second end of the arm, the elastic element passes from a retracted position to an extended position so that the movable valve closes the second end of the arm. Thus, the supply of liquid is blocked.

[0032] In one embodiment, the cylindrical body, arm, and nipple are made of polymer.

[0033] Preferably, the cylindrical body, the arm and the teat are suitable for food contact. Thus, they meet the regulatory or normative requirements guaranteeing that there is no risk of toxicity induced by the release of toxins linked to the polymers in the liquids.

[0034] In one embodiment, the cylindrical body, arm and teat are anti-allergenic.

[0035] The present invention also relates to a personal hydration system comprising a mouthpiece according to the invention and a means for storing a liquid.

[0036] In one embodiment, the nozzle comprises an adapter arranged between the liquid conveying means and the protective mask docking means. In this embodiment, the adapter is therefore arranged on the nozzle, i.e. in place of the protective mask docking means. The nozzle has the advantage of being adaptable to any type of mask regardless of the design of the protective mask docking means. Thus, a single nozzle can be connected to an infinite variety of protective masks.

[0037] In one embodiment, the adapter comprises a first end configured to be connected to the liquid conveying means and a second end configured to be connected to the docking means of the protective mask.

[0038] In one embodiment, the first or second end of the adapter is a male element intended to engage in the liquid conveying means or the docking means of the protective mask forming a female element.

[0039] In one embodiment, the first or second end of the adapter is a female element intended to receive the liquid conveying means or the protective mask docking means forming a male element.

[0040] In particular, in one embodiment, the liquid conveying means forming a male or female element comprise an outer cylindrical body, a central cylindrical body, an inner cylindrical body, a movable valve and an elastic element.

[0041] In particular, in one embodiment, the liquid conveying means forming a male or female element comprise the second end of the arm surmounting the central cylindrical body.

[0042] For example, the adapter has a tubular shape.

[0043] In one embodiment, the system includes a liquid supply tube. In this embodiment, the supply tube is connected to the nozzle delivery means.

[0044] For example, the protective mask comprises docking means connected to a mouthpiece according to the invention or to a mouthpiece of the hydration system.

[0045] In one embodiment, the docking means of the protective mask are connected to a pipette arranged in the protective mask. Thus, the user can be supplied with liquid while wearing the protective mask.

[0046] In one embodiment, the protective mask is a CBRN mask.

[0047] The invention will be better understood from the following description, which relates to one or more embodiments according to the present invention, given as non-limiting examples and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which: [ Fig. 1 ] is a side view of an example of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention in the closed position, [ Fig. 2 ] is an overview of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention in the closed position, [ Fig. 3 ] is a schematic sectional view of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention in the closed position, [ Fig. 4 ] is a side view of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, said mouthpiece being configured in the first position, [ Fig. 5 ] is an overview of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, said mouthpiece being configured in the first position, [ Fig. 6 ] is a schematic sectional view of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention, said nozzle being configured in the first position, [ Fig. 7 ] is a side view of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, said mouthpiece being configured in the second position, [ Fig. 8 ] is an overview of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, said mouthpiece being configured in the second position, [ Fig. 9 ] is a schematic sectional view of a nozzle for a hydration system, said nozzle being configured in the second position according to the invention, [ Fig. 10 ] is a schematic sectional view of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention, said nozzle being separated from the docking means of a protective mask, the movable valve and the elastic element functioning as a self-sealing system, [ Fig. 11 ] is an overview of an example of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, [ Fig. 12 ] is a side view of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, [ Fig. 13 ] is another side view of a mouthpiece for a hydration system according to the invention, [ Fig. 14 ] is a top view of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention, [ Fig. 15 ] is an example of a tip for a hydration system according to the invention, said tip being configured in the first position, [ Fig. 16 ] is a sectional view of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention, said nozzle being configured in the first position, [ Fig. 17 ] is an example of a tip for a hydration system according to the invention, said tip being configured in the second position, [ Fig. 18 ] is a schematic sectional view of an example of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention comprising a self-sealing system, said nozzle being configured in the second position and [ Fig. 19 ] is a schematic sectional view of an example of a nozzle for a hydration system according to the invention comprising a self-sealing system, said nozzle being detached from the docking means of a protective mask and being configured in the second position according to the invention and [ Fig. 20 ] is a schematic view of different examples of adapters connecting a mouthpiece and a protective mask according to the invention.

[0048] THE Figures 1 à 19 illustrate a mouthpiece 1, 2 for a personal hydration system (not shown) including a means for storing a liquid (not shown). The mouthpiece 1, 2 comprises means for conveying a liquid and selection means for configuring the mouthpiece in a position chosen from: a closed position in which the liquid conveying means are blocked, a first position in which the liquid passes through the conveying means to allow hydration directly via the mouth and a second position in which the conveying means are connected to the docking means 3 arranged on a protective mask (not shown) and in which the liquid passes through the conveying means and the docking means 3 of the protective mask to allow hydration via the mouth via the protective mask.

[0049] THE Figures 1 à 10 illustrate an example of a nozzle 1 in which the liquid conveying means comprise an outer cylindrical body 11, a central cylindrical body 12, an inner cylindrical body 13, a movable valve 14 and an elastic element 15, the inner cylindrical body 13 being arranged in the central cylindrical body 12, the outer cylindrical body 11 cooperating with the central cylindrical body 12, the movable valve 14 being arranged in the inner cylindrical body 13, said movable valve 14 being connected to the elastic element 15. The outer cylindrical body 11, the central cylindrical body 12, the outer cylindrical body 11, the movable valve 14 and the elastic element 15 cooperate so that the nozzle 1 can reach a position chosen from the closed position, the first position or the second position. The elastic element 15 may be, for example, a spring.

[0050] As it appears on the figures 1 à 10 , the central cylindrical body 12 and the internal cylindrical body 13 comprise an upper face 12a, 13a including an opening in which an upper face 14a of the movable valve 14 can engage. The upper face 14a of the movable valve 14 is arranged so as to block the liquid conveying means, i.e. the central cylindrical body 12 and the internal cylindrical body 13 (closed position, Figures 1-3 And 10 ); to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means to reach the central cylindrical body 12, i.e. to unlock and pull only the central cylindrical body 12 (first position, Figure 4-6 ); or to allow a connection with the docking means 3 of the protective mask (second position) and to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means and the docking means 2 of the protective mask, i.e. to exert pressure on the movable valve 14 so that the movable valve 14 and the elastic element 15 are retracted (second position, Figure 7-9 ).

[0051] When the nozzle 1 is configured in the second position, the movable valve 14 and the elastic element 15 operate as a self-sealing system. Thus, if the docking means 3 are disconnected from the conveying means involuntarily, the elastic element 15 moves from a retracted position to an extended position so that the upper face 14a of the movable valve 14 engages in the upper faces 12a, 13a of the central cylindrical body 12 and the internal cylindrical body 13 and thus blocks the supply of liquid ( Figure 10 ).

[0052] The central cylindrical body 12 is movable. Thus, the central cylindrical body 12 slides along the external cylindrical body 11.

[0053] The outer cylindrical body 11 comprises an upper face 11a including an opening crossed by the central cylindrical body 12.

[0054] The central cylindrical body 12 comprises radial rotation means or friction means such as vertical translation means 16 intended to rotate or translate in grooves located in the external cylindrical body 11. The radial rotation or vertical translation means 16 can easily move up and down in the grooves located in the external cylindrical body 11 so as to reach the closed position or the first position. Preferably, the radial rotation or vertical translation means 16 are bayonets.

[0055] The central cylindrical body 12 takes the form of a teat, for example a non-drip teat, by which a liquid can be directly delivered into the mouth of a user. In particular, the central cylindrical body 12 is a teat when the tip 1 is configured in the first position.

[0056] For example, the outer cylindrical body 11, the central cylindrical body 12, the inner cylindrical body 13 and the movable valve 14 are made of polymer.

[0057] Preferably, the outer cylindrical body 11, the central cylindrical body 12, the inner cylindrical body 13 and the movable valve 14 are suitable for food contact.

[0058] For example, the outer cylindrical body 11, the central cylindrical body 12, the inner cylindrical body 13 and the movable valve 14 are anti-allergenic.

[0059] When the tip 1 is configured in the second position, it is connected to a protective mask. The docking means 3 of the protective mask are then connected to a pipette (not shown) arranged in the protective mask.

[0060] THE Figures 1-3 illustrate an example of a closed position. For example, the upper face 12a of the central cylindrical body 12, the upper face 13a of the internal cylindrical body 13 and the upper face 14a of the movable valve 14 are aligned so that the liquid cannot escape from the nozzle 1.

[0061] THE Figures 4-6 illustrate an example of a first position. For example, to ensure liquid intake directly into a user's mouth, the user can rotate or pull the central cylindrical body 12, causing a rotation of the radial rotation means 16, in the grooves of the outer cylindrical body 11 or a translation from the closed position to the first position. The user can then suck the liquid directly into his mouth.

[0062] THE Figures 7-9 illustrate an example of a second position. To ensure liquid intake via the protective mask, from the closed position to the second position, the user can exert pressure on the movable valve 14 so that the elastic element 15 and the movable valve 14 are retracted. The docking means 3 can then be connected to the movable valve 14 so that the liquid passes through the docking means 3 of the protective mask connected to a pipette which is located in the protective mask. The user can then suck up the liquid via the pipette (not shown) of the protective mask.

[0063] To ensure liquid intake via the protective mask, from the first position to the second position, the user rotates or pulls the central cylindrical body 12, causing a rotation of the radial rotation means 16 in the grooves of the external cylindrical body 11 or a translation from the first position to the second position. The docking means 3 can then be connected to the movable valve 14 so that the liquid passes through the docking means 3 of the protective mask connected to a pipette which is located in the protective mask. The user can then suck up the liquid via the pipette of the protective mask.

[0064] To lock the tip from the first position to the closed position, the user then simply has to push the central cylindrical body 12 towards the external cylindrical body 11 or to rotate the central cylindrical body 12 so that the radial rotation means 16 return to the closed position. Thus, the tip 1 is locked and the seal is ensured.

[0065] To lock the nozzle from the second position to the closed position, it is then sufficient to remove the docking means 3 so that the elastic element 15 passes from a retracted position to an extended position so that the upper face 14a of the movable valve 14 engages in the upper faces 12a, 13a of the central cylindrical body 12 and of the internal cylindrical body 13 and thus blocks the supply of liquid. In this example, the movable valve 14 and the elastic element 15 operate as a self-sealing system ( Figure 10 ). Thus, the tip 1 is locked and the seal is ensured.

[0066] THE Figures 11-19 illustrate another example of a nozzle 2 in which the liquid conveying means comprise a central cylindrical body 21 surmounted by an arm 22 arranged perpendicular to the central cylindrical body 21, said arm 22 comprising a first end E1 connected to a teat 23 and a second end E2 connected to the docking means 3 of the protective mask (not illustrated). The central cylindrical body 21 and the arm 22 cooperate so that the nozzle 2 can reach a position chosen from the closed position, the first position or the second position.

[0067] The end piece 2 comprises a three-way valve 24. The three-way valve 24 can then rotate so as to block the liquid conveying means, i.e. the ends E1, E2 of the arm 22 (closed position, Figure 11 ); to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means to reach the teat 23, that is to say to block only the second end E2 of the arm (first position, Figures 15-16 ); or to allow a connection with the docking means 3 of the protective mask and to allow the liquid to pass through the conveying means and the docking means 3 of the protective mask, i.e. to block only the first end E1 of the arm (second position, Figures 17-18 ).

[0068] For example, the three-way valve 24 comprises a pivot 25 around which it rotates to select one of said positions.

[0069] For example, the end piece 2 comprises a movable valve 26 and an elastic element 27. The movable valve 26 and the elastic element 27 operate as a self-sealing system. Preferably, the movable valve 26 and the elastic element 27 are arranged in the second end E2 of the arm 22 of the conveying means. Thus, when the docking means 3 are connected to the second end E2 of the arm 22, the elastic element 27 is in the retracted position so that the liquid passes through the conveying means of the end piece 2 and the docking means 3 of the protective mask. Furthermore, if the docking means 3 of the protective mask are disconnected voluntarily or involuntarily from the second end E2 of the arm 22, the elastic element 27 passes from a retracted position to an extended position so that the movable valve 26 closes the second end E2 of the arm 22. Thus, the supply of liquid is blocked. The elastic element 27 is, for example, a spring (。 Figures 18 And 19 ).

[0070] Preferably, the cylindrical body 21, the nipple 23 and the arm 22 are made of polymer.

[0071] Preferably, the cylindrical body 21, the teat 23 and the arm 22 are suitable for food contact.

[0072] Preferably, the cylindrical body 21, the teat 23 and the arm 22 are anti-allergenic.

[0073] There Figure 20 illustrates the nozzle 2 in which the liquid conveying means comprise a central cylindrical body 21 surmounted by an arm 22 arranged perpendicular to the central cylindrical body 21, said arm 22 comprising a first end E1 connected to a teat 23 and a second end E2. The cylindrical body 21 is for example connected to the liquid supply tube 7.

[0074] In this example, the tip 2 may comprise a tubular-shaped adapter chosen from the adapters 4a, 4b, 4c illustrated schematically in Figure 20 The chosen adapter 4a, 4b, 4c is configured to be arranged between the liquid conveying means and the docking means 5a, 5b, 5c of a protective mask 6a, 6b, 6c.

[0075] The adapter 4a, 4b, 4c may comprise a first end E1a configured to be connected to the liquid conveying means and a second end E2a configured to be connected to the docking means 5a, 5b, 5c of a protective mask 6a, 6b, 6c.

[0076] For example, the first end E1a or the second end E2a of the adapter is a male element intended to engage in the liquid conveying means or the docking means 5a, 5b, 5c of a protective mask 6a, 6b, 6c forming a female element.

[0077] For example, the first end E1a or the second end E2a of the adapter is a female element intended to receive the liquid conveying means or the docking means 5a, 5b, 5c of a protective mask 6a, 6b, 6c forming a male element.

[0078] The male and female elements are represented in the Figure 20 by identical symbols including in particular a circle, a triangle, a rectangle or a square.

[0079] In this example, the means for conveying the liquid forming a female or male element comprise the second end E2 of the arm 22 surmounting the central cylindrical body 21.

[0080] The personal hydration system (not shown) comprises a mouthpiece 1, 2 according to the invention and a means for storing a liquid (not shown). The hydration system also comprises a liquid supply tube 7 ( Figure 20 ) which is connected to the means of conveying the tip 1, 2.

[0081] For example, the protective mask (not shown) comprises docking means 3 connected to a nozzle 1, 2 according to the invention or to a nozzle 1, 2 of the hydration system according to the invention.

[0082] For example, the docking means 3 of the protective mask are connected to a pipette (not shown) arranged in the protective mask. Thus, the user can, while wearing the NRBC protective mask, be supplied with liquid. The tip according to the invention can be easily used in various applications without the need for an additional connection element for the user. Furthermore, the optimized tip is ergonomic and easy to implement for the user.
