Description
technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of handheld vacuum cleaners, and in particular to the assembly of handheld vacuum cleaners. Such vacuum cleaners generally have a modular assembly structure composed of various sub-assemblies designed to be assembled together during the assembly phase of the handheld vacuum cleaner. To this end, the vacuum cleaner generally comprises a first sub-assembly including a technical unit equipped with a motor assembly, and a second sub-assembly including a handle unit designed to be assembled to the technical unit. State of the art
[0002] EP3632284 B1 is a known technical unit for a handheld vacuum cleaner comprising a motor assembly and a plurality of power cables extending between the motor assembly and a power connector. This technical unit is designed to be assembled with a handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a plurality of power cables extending between an energy storage system, such as a battery, and a power connector designed to be connected to the power connector following the assembly of the technical unit to the handle assembly.
[0003] Such a technical block simplifies the manufacture of the vacuum cleaner since it is possible to manufacture two separate sub-assemblies of the vacuum cleaner independently, which can then be assembled together during the assembly of the vacuum cleaner.
[0004] However, the structure of the technical block and the handle block of EP3632284 B1 is complex, which negatively impacts the reliability and manufacturing cost of such components. Summary of the invention
[0005] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.
[0006] The technical problem underlying the invention is to propose a technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner that is easy to assemble and offers reliability and a reduced cost for the portable vacuum cleaner.
[0007] To this end, the invention relates to a technical unit for a handheld vacuum cleaner comprising: a main body housing a motor assembly; a cable support piece; a power connector suitable for connection to an energy storage system of the vacuum cleaner; a set of first electrical cables extending from the motor assembly to the power connector via the cable support piece, the cable support piece including elements for retaining the first electrical cables; the technical unit being configured so that, during the assembly of the handheld vacuum cleaner, it is attached to a handle block comprising a handle and a housing for receiving the main body. According to the invention, the cable support piece is suitable, during the assembly phase, for being fixed inside the handle.
[0008] Thanks to this invention, the technical block integrates all the electrical / electronic functions, while the handle block simply serves as a mechanical interface for connecting the various components of the handheld vacuum cleaner. This simplifies the handle block's structure and improves the vacuum cleaner's reliability because, unlike the aforementioned prior art, an electrical connection between the handle block and the technical block is not required to power the motor assembly. Furthermore, this integration of electrical / electronic functions optimizes the vacuum cleaner's manufacturing cost.Furthermore, the technical unit allows for easy mounting on the handle assembly, as the main body is designed to fit into the designated slot on the handle. The support piece facilitates the integration of electrical cables into the handle and ensures the correct positioning of the power connector for connection to the vacuum cleaner's energy storage system, such as a battery. Additionally, the support piece ensures that the initial electrical cables are securely held during transport of the technical unit and properly positioned during assembly.
[0009] According to advantageous but not mandatory aspects of the invention, such a technical block for a portable vacuum cleaner may incorporate one or more of the following features, taken in any technically permissible combination.
[0010] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the main body also includes an electronic control board for the vacuum cleaner and the technical block includes a set of second electrical cables extending from the electronic control board to the power connector via the cable support piece, the cable support piece including elements for retaining the second electrical cables.
[0011] This arrangement ensures that the second set of electrical cables is securely held during transport of the technical unit and correctly positioned during assembly. Furthermore, this arrangement allows the electronic control board to be powered via these second cables.
[0012] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the cable support piece includes a housing for receiving an electronic board supporting at least one vacuum cleaner control button suitable for cooperating with an actuator mounted on the handle.

[0017] Such an arrangement ensures optimized assembly of the technical block onto the handle block.
[0018] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the handle comprises a front shell and a rear shell adapted to be assembled, the front shell comprising a recess for receiving the cable support piece and the cable support piece comprising elements for securing the cable support piece to a rear face of the front shell.
[0019] This arrangement makes it easier to assemble the cable support piece into the handle.
[0020] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the cable support piece includes at least one guide / keying element adapted to cooperate with the rear face of the front shell to ensure proper positioning of the cable support piece in the cable support piece receiving recess during the assembly phase.
[0021] This design ensures the correct positioning of the cable support piece, and therefore the electrical cables within the handle, thus optimizing the assembly of the technical unit onto the handle assembly. It also prevents incorrect assembly that could lead to quality issues or even safety problems when using the vacuum cleaner.
[0022] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the main body comprises an air diffusion nozzle and advantageously a filter positioned around the air diffusion nozzle.
[0023] Such an arrangement allows for optimized suction and in particular optimized air circulation while ensuring filtration of the air expelled from the vacuum cleaner.
[0024] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the main body includes a filter positioned at the outlet of the motor assembly.
[0025] Such an arrangement optimizes the quality of the air expelled from the vacuum cleaner.
[0026] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the cable support piece is attached to the power connector solely by means of electrical cables extending between the cable support piece and the power connector.
[0027] According to an advantageous feature of the invention: either the cable support piece is attached to the main body solely by means of electrical cables extending between the cable support piece and the main body; or the technical block includes a piece for attaching the support piece to the main body such as a plastic or even metallic blade, the plastic blade preferably being flexible.
[0028] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the technical block also includes a human-machine interface positioned on an external face of the main body and the human-machine interface forms a guide rib suitable for cooperating with a groove in the receiving housing during the assembly phase.
[0029] Such an arrangement simplifies the assembly of the vacuum cleaner and ensures guidance of the main body in the main body receiving housing during the assembly phase.
[0030] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the main body comprises an outer casing and the human-machine interface is projecting from the outer casing so as to form the guide rib suitable for guiding the main body into the main body receiving housing during the assembly phase.

[0032] This arrangement allows an operator to clearly visualize the guide rib and groove during the assembly phase, thus simplifying the assembly process. Furthermore, it allows a user to easily view information provided by the human-machine interface.
[0033] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the human-machine interface includes on a front side a receiving notch for an axial projection formed in the groove of the receiving housing of the main body.
[0034] Such an arrangement makes it possible to obtain a robust assembly and to concentrate a maximum of function close to the human-machine interface.

[0113] Next, the main body 14 is positioned in the receiving housing 40 for the main body. For this purpose, the human-machine interface 28 is slid into the groove 116. A translational movement of the human-machine interface 28 within the groove 116 of the receiving housing 40 is performed.
[0114] Then, in a subsequent step, the main body 14 is fixed to the receiving housing 40 via the fastening elements 59. Advantageously, during this step, the cover 35 is removed from the rear face of the main body 14, and the operator then accesses the fastening elements, which are manipulated to perform the fixing operation. The operator then repositions the cover 35 on the rear face.
