Abstract

Vaporizing devices for generating an inhalable aerosol, methods for manufacturing them, and cartridges for use with them are provided. In one aspect, the vaporizing device may include a cartridge that may include a heating element (5242) having a first region (5244), a second region (5245), and one or more cutoff regions (5249) between the first and second regions; and a vaporizing body having a receptacle configured to insertably receive at least a portion of the cartridge, at least one first inductive coil configured to generate a first magnetic and / or electromagnetic field for heating the first region, at least one second inductive coil configured to generate a second magnetic and / or electromagnetic field for heating the second region, and a controller configured to independently apply power to the at least one first inductive coil and the at least one second inductive coil.Heating assemblies and methods for their manufacture are also provided.
