Abstract

Textile envelope (1) comprising two superimposed flexible textile layers (10, 20), between which is defined an internal space (30), and an opening (40) allowing access to said internal space (30), said envelope (1) being characterized in that it comprises a storage pocket (60) connected to one of the two layers (10, 20) of the envelope (1) along said opening (40) and which is adapted to be placed in a storage position in which the pocket (60) is disposed in the internal space (30) and in a deployed position out of the internal space (30), the pocket (60) being dimensioned to receive and store the folded layers (10, 20).

Technical field

[0002] In the bedding industry, it is common practice to use a duvet cover to keep a duvet clean while allowing the user to change the exterior appearance of the duvet. Such a cover comes in the form of a bag, or envelope, roughly parallelepiped in fabric with one side open for the insertion of a duvet. This type of cover, however, poses a problem when filling it with a duvet. Indeed, in this case, it is necessary to slide the duvet into the cover by a relatively narrow end and try to match the corners of the duvet with the corners of the cover in order to have the flattest possible surface. This technique is a source of time loss as well as irritation since it is very difficult to place the duvet perfectly. The problem becomes even more significant when the cover is large.This covering technique can also be a source of health problems by generating Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) for people repeating these same gestures in their profession.

[0003] In order to at least partially resolve this drawback, it is known to open the duvet cover on three sides in order to position the duvet in the cover and then close it. Such solutions are known in particular from documents FR2840518A1 and EP1082928A1. However, in this type of cover, there is no provision for making the duvet easy to store. Furthermore, document JPH07028476U presents a sleeping bag comprising a bag-shaped portion extending from the upper edge of said bag and comprising an integrated cushion. However, the bag-shaped portion can accommodate approximately half of the body of the bag once rolled up, which does not entirely protect the bag, which may, for example, become dirty. In addition, the bag-shaped portion constitutes a hood and has a rigid structure that is shaped to stand on its own by having a curved surface in the shape of an arc, which presents a drawback, in particular for transport or storage.Document IT MI20 100 265 A1 describes a duvet that can be transformed into a cushion when the duvet is inserted into a pocket attached to a small side of the duvet.

[0004] There is therefore a need for a solution that can at least partially overcome these drawbacks. Statement of the invention

[0005] One of the aims of the invention is to provide a duvet cover that is easy to use and store. In particular, one of the aims of the invention is to provide a duvet protective cover solution that allows the duvet to be easily stored with its cover while allowing the duvet to be easily and quickly inserted into the cover. Another aim of the invention is also to limit musculoskeletal disorders by making it easier to cover the duvet.

[0007] The duvet cover according to the invention thus comprises an integrated retractable storage pocket which allows the duvet cover to be housed once folded so that it can be used as a pillow or can be easily stored. Claims

1. A rectangular comforter cover (1), comprising two superimposed flexible textile layers (10, 20), between which an internal space (30) is defined, and an opening (40) formed at least at one of the short edges of the cover (1) and allowing access to said internal space (30), said cover (1) being adapted to receive a comforter (2) in the internal space (30) and said cover (1) further comprising a flat, flexible storage bag (60) connected to one of the two layers (10, 20) of the cover (1) at one of its short edges, along said opening (40), and which is adapted to be placed in a storage position in which the bag (60) is disposed integrally within the internal space (30) and in a deployed position outside the internal space (30), the bag (60) being dimensioned to receive and fully store the folded layers (10, 20) and the comforter (2) so as to form a pillow or cushion in which the storage bag (60) functions as a pillowcase.

2. The cover (1) according to claim 1, wherein the bag (60) is made of the same material as one of the two layers (10, 20).

3. The cover (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bag (60) is attached to one of the two layers (10, 20).

4. The cover (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the bag (60) is sewn or zipped onto one of the two layers (10, 20).

5. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the length of the junction between the bag (60) and the layer (10, 20) to which the bag (60) at one of the edges (1C) of the cover (1) is connected is of the order of a third of the length of said edge (1C).

6. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (1) comprises opening and closing means (50) adapted to open access to the internal space (30) at the opening (40).

7. The cover (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the opening and closing means comprise at least one zipper.

8. The cover (1) according to any one of claims 6 or 7, wherein the opening and closing means comprise at least one strip made of a self-gripping material.

9. The cover (1) according to any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the opening and closing means comprise snap fasteners.

10. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the opening (40) is formed between the two layers (10, 20).

11. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the opening (40) is formed through one of the layers (10, 20).

12. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the bag (60) is provided with a closure member, for example of the zipper type, invisible in the storage position of the bag (60) in order to keep the bag (60) closed and in place in its integral storage position flat between the layers of the cover (1).

13. The cover (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (1) is lined on its outer sides.
