Description

[0001] The invention relates to a fitting for a sliding door with breakout functionality, comprising an upper fitting unit guided in a ceiling guide of the fitting and a lower fitting unit guided in a floor guide of the fitting for guiding a door leaf of the sliding door in normal operation along a first sliding direction and an opposite second sliding direction, wherein, in the breakout case, the fitting units enable the door leaf of the sliding door to pivot about an axis of rotation defined by the fitting units, according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a sliding door with breakout functionality, comprising a fitting for a sliding door and at least one door leaf which is slidably mounted by the fitting in normal operation along a first sliding direction and an opposite second sliding direction.

[0002] Sliding doors with breakout functionality and fittings for such sliding doors that enable this breakout functionality are generally known. In normal operation, these doors are used as sliding doors, whereby one or more door leaves, often motorized, can be moved between a closed and an open position, guided in a ceiling and floor track. In the event of a breakout, for example, in the case of a fire alarm or another situation where a large opening needs to be created quickly, the door leaf(s) can also be pivoted around a pivot axis and thus opened like a hinged door.

[0003] A problem with known sliding doors featuring breakout functionality has been found to be that, while the top edge is pivotally mounted by the hardware and usually secured along the sliding direction by the integrated drive, the lower edge is either unguided or at least free to move along the sliding direction. This allows the door leaf to swing freely, at least along the sliding direction, or even completely unhindered, when the breakout function is activated. This can result in the door leaf becoming jammed or requiring excessive force to swing open, often exceeding legal limits.

[0004] In the prior art, a known workaround to the problem described above is to provide the lower secondary closing edge of the door leaf with a supporting roller. While this can generally prevent tilting that hinders or even completely prevents the door leaf from swinging out, it simultaneously creates new requirements for the substrate to ensure that the supporting roller does not also tilt and thereby hinder or again completely prevent the door leaf from swinging open.

[0005] US 2005 / 183340 A1 discloses a fitting according to the preamble of claim 1. This document discloses a braking arrangement for locking a vertically or horizontally sliding window or door in the track of a frame. The track has an elongated base and a pair of spaced-apart, opposing side walls extending perpendicularly from the base. Each side wall has an inner shoulder spaced from and parallel to the base. The arrangement includes a sliding body with a central opening extending from a front to a rear of the body. The sliding body has a side opening on each side of the sliding body, which communicates with the central opening. A pair of braking elements is provided, with one braking element positioned in each of the side openings.A cam, which has a back and a front, is designed to accommodate a pivoting element mounted on the window sash or door.

[0006] The cam is positioned in the central opening and designed to be rotated within the opening by the pivoting element. The cam, the sliding body, and the brake elements comprise an interacting structure for converting a rotary motion of the cam into a radial motion of the brake elements through the side openings and an axial motion of the cam and sliding body to lock the brake assembly in the rail.

[0007] DE 10 2012 210 594 A1 discloses a sliding door system with at least one sliding leaf slidably guided on a guide device. The sliding door system can be used in an escape route in which the sliding leaf can be pivoted by manual force from a basic position, corresponding to the normal operation of the sliding door system and located essentially in the plane of the sliding door system, into at least one escape route position. The sliding leaf has a compensation device to prevent the pivoted sliding leaf from sagging on the main closing edge side. The compensation device has a flexible force transmission element that connects an upper guide element or a component connected thereto with a lower guide element or a component connected thereto and is guided over at least one stationary deflection element.

[0008] US 2017 / 009513 A1 discloses locking systems featuring rollers that run along the top and bottom of individual sliding elements, the rollers being horizontally oriented and arranged in a track designed to receive the horizontal rollers. A track leveling system allows installers to more easily install and align the system between floors and siding that are not perfectly flush. A pressure piece allows the system to be closed by means of sliding elements that press into the piece to deflect it, thus improving the seal of the individual sliding elements. A hinge mechanism allows the sliding elements to be rotated to stack them at one end of the system.

[0009] It is an object of the present invention to at least partially overcome the disadvantages of known fittings and sliding doors of the prior art described above. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a fitting and a sliding door that enable a breakout functionality with exceptional reliability and high operational safety, especially without placing additional demands on the installation environment of the sliding door.

[0010] The aforementioned problem is solved by the claims. In particular, the problem is solved by a fitting with the features of independent claim 1 and by a sliding door with the features of claim 12. Further features and advantages of the fitting and the sliding door according to the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings.

[0011] The terms "top", "bottom", "vertical" and "horizontal" used throughout the description of the invention refer to a sliding door or its components in the installed state.

[0012] According to the invention, the problem is solved by a fitting for a sliding door with breakout functionality, comprising an upper fitting unit guided in a ceiling guide of the fitting and a lower fitting unit guided in a floor guide of the fitting for guiding a door leaf of the sliding door in normal operation along a first sliding direction and an opposite second sliding direction, wherein, in the breakout case, the fitting units enable the door leaf of the sliding door to pivot about an axis of rotation defined by the fitting units. The fitting according to the invention has a locking device for positively and / or force-fit locking of the lower fitting unit in the floor guide against movement in the first sliding direction and / or the second sliding direction in the breakout case.

[0013] The fitting according to the invention is designed for use in a sliding door and enables, in particular, normal operation of this sliding door, in which a door leaf can be moved between a closed position and an open position along the sliding directions. The first sliding direction can, for example, be defined as a movement of the door leaf towards its closed position, i.e., in the closing direction, and the second sliding direction correspondingly opposite, as the opening direction. The ceiling guide and the floor guide, which essentially determine the guidance of the door leaf in normal operation, extend along these sliding directions and are mostly linear in design.

[0014] The upper and lower fitting units of the hardware can be arranged and attached to the upper and lower ends, respectively, particularly to an edge or corner of the door leaf. For this purpose, they preferably include the necessary fastening elements. A drive unit with a motor for automatic movement of the door leaf during normal operation is also conceivable; this is usually arranged on and / or in the ceiling track and mechanically connected to the upper fitting unit.

[0015] Furthermore, the fitting, in particular the two fitting units, is designed such that the door leaf can be swung open in the event of a breakout. Specifically, both fitting units have a bearing device, preferably a pivot bearing, which allows the door leaf to swing open in the event of a breakout. The positions of the two fitting units in the ceiling guide and floor guide, respectively, define the axis of rotation around which the door leaf pivots.

[0016] In normal operation, the door leaf is preferably aligned along the sliding directions, so that, for example, a lower secondary closing edge of the door leaf runs parallel to the sliding directions. In most embodiments, the two hardware units are arranged on the door leaf such that they are opposed to each other with respect to the sliding directions. In other words, the pivot axis of the door leaf defined by the hardware units for the breakout event is, in this preferred case, oriented perpendicular to the sliding directions. This orientation of the pivot axis allows the door leaf to swing out in the breakout event to be particularly safe and less prone to malfunction.

[0017] Due to the deactivation of the drive, which usually accompanies the occurrence of a breakout event, the position of the upper fitting unit in the ceiling guide is fixed, particularly in the case of an automatic sliding door. Preferably, however, such a fixing of the upper fitting unit also occurs in non-motorized sliding doors, for example, during the triggering of the breakout event.

[0018] To reliably maintain the orientation of the axis of rotation transverse to the sliding directions even in the event of a breakout, a locking device is provided in the fitting according to the invention. This locking device makes it possible to fix the position of the lower fitting unit, in particular essentially to the position that the lower fitting unit assumed when the breakout occurred. To achieve this, the locking device is designed such that it can lock the lower fitting unit in the floor guide by means of a positive and / or non-positive locking mechanism. This prevents movement of the lower fitting unit in the first and / or the second sliding direction and thus prevents tilting of the axis of rotation from its ideal orientation transverse to the sliding directions.

[0019] Preferably, the locking device secures the lower fitting unit against movements in both the first sliding direction and the second sliding direction.

[0020] Since the hardware units, and thus also the axis of rotation they define, are usually located near a vertical edge of the door leaf, the locking device secures the lower hardware unit at least against movement in the sliding direction in which the majority of the lower horizontal edge, i.e., the lower secondary closing edge, of the door leaf would move towards the floor guide. For example, if the hardware units are located at the top and bottom on a left side of the door leaf, and a first sliding movement to the left opens the sliding door and a second sliding movement to the right closes the sliding door, the locking device secures the lower hardware unit at least against movement in the first sliding direction, i.e., the opening direction. In this way, the lower secondary closing edge remains aligned parallel to the floor guide or, in the event of a movement in the closing direction, merely moves away from it, so that the swinging out of the door leaf is not obstructed.

[0021] In summary, the fitting according to the invention enables a breakout function for a sliding door with exceptional reliability and high operational safety. Since tilting of the door leaf with its main closing edge towards the floor guide is reliably prevented, this is particularly feasible without the need for a supporting roller and the associated additional requirements for the installation environment of the sliding door. For example, rough or uneven floor coverings, especially, for instance, anti-slip mats, can also be used.

[0022] The fitting according to the invention is characterized in that the locking device has a toothing extending in the floor guide along the sliding directions and a locking element which is rotatably mounted in the lower fitting unit and adapted to the toothing and can be mechanically connected to the door leaf in such a way that, in the event of a breakout, the door leaf is swung open, causing the locking element to rotate. This rotation engages the toothing, thereby positively locking the lower fitting unit in the floor guide. The mechanical connection between the door leaf and the locking element can again be established directly or indirectly via further elements, for example, a transmission gear. Overall, in this embodiment of the fitting according to the invention, the locking of the lower fitting unit is achieved via a positive fit between the locking element and the toothing. The risk of over-pressing the locking mechanism, which is at least theoretically possible with a purely force-fit locking mechanism, can be significantly reduced in this way.

[0023] The toothing preferably extends along the sliding directions to cover the entire sliding path of the door leaf. This allows the lower fitting unit to be locked in any sliding position of the door leaf in the event of a breakout. An adapted design of the toothing and the locking element according to the invention means, in particular, that the shape of the toothing, especially its teeth and the intervening locking receptacles, and the locking element are chosen to be opposite. This ensures a particularly large-area and therefore particularly effective positive locking connection between these components. Both the teeth and the locking receptacles are preferably identical over the entire toothing.

[0024] Furthermore, the toothing is preferably chosen in such a way, particularly depending on the size of the sliding door or door leaf, that the two opposing requirements are met as well as possible: firstly, that it is fine enough so that the positive locking occurs even with slight rotations of the door leaf, for example, rotations of less than 10°, and secondly, that it is not too fine, so that shearing of the teeth of the toothing would be a concern in the event of a breakout.

[0025] According to a first alternative, the locking element for engaging the gear teeth has a locking edge with an angle of 80° to 100°, preferably 90°, with a sliding surface of the locking element adjoining the locking edge, which is aligned parallel to the sliding directions during normal operation. Due to the adapted design, the gear teeth, in particular their recessed locking receptacles, also have a corresponding shape with the same angle. A locking edge with an angle between 80° and 100° has proven to be a good compromise for fulfilling the two requirements specified above as effectively as possible. The presence of a sliding surface, which preferably extends so far that it covers several teeth and locking receptacles of the gear teeth during normal operation, prevents or at least hinders unintentional engagement of the locking edge in one of the locking receptacles during normal operation.

[0026] Furthermore, the fitting according to the invention can be designed such that the locking element is cuboid in shape. A cuboid shape of the locking element makes it particularly easy to achieve the advantages described in the previous paragraph. At the same time, in the event of a breakout, the edge located on the side of the locking element diagonally opposite the locking edge can also bear against the base guide, thus further supporting the locking element from tilting within the entire base guide. This facilitates and thus makes even more secure the locking of the lower fitting unit in the base guide.

[0027] According to a second alternative, the toothing has a rack and the locking element has a pinion that matches the rack, wherein a pinion section of the pinion, which faces the rack in normal operation, is equipped with a toothless, preferably smooth and parallel to the sliding directions, sliding side.

[0028] A pinion according to the invention is in particular a gear, wherein the teeth of the gear are adapted to the corresponding teeth of the rack. Tests have determined that size "M2" is particularly suitable for the rack and the pinion.

[0029] By providing a sliding surface on the pinion section, which includes at least one, preferably two or more, of the pinion's teeth, unintentional engagement of the remaining pinion teeth with the rack can be prevented or at least made more difficult. The design of the locking device with a pinion featuring a sliding surface and a rack allows, in particular, for trouble-free normal operation, while at the same time ensuring that even a slight rotation of the door leaf, and thus also of the pinion via the mechanical connection, leads to an immediate engagement of the remaining pinion teeth with the rack. This ensures immediate locking of the lower fitting unit in the floor guide in the event of a breakout.

[0030] According to a further development, the fitting remover according to the invention can be provided with a rack and pinion made of plastic, preferably with the sliding surface being produced by milling. Plastics are easily formable and, in particular, readily machinable materials that can be mass-produced in a wide variety of shapes and with a wide range of material properties. This makes it particularly easy to manufacture large quantities of appropriately dimensioned and mechanically stable racks and pinions made of plastic. In particular, commercially available components can also be used, which can then be further processed, for example, in the case of the pinion, by milling to create the sliding surface.

[0031] The sliding face and / or a pinion hub of the pinion, during normal operation, forms part of the door leaf's guidance system along the sliding directions. For example, the sliding face can be so large along the sliding directions that it extends over several teeth of the rack. During normal operation, the pinion, with its sliding face, can then slide along the teeth of the rack, thus forming part of the door leaf's guidance system. A pinion hub or axle can extend through a guide slot in the bottom guide, particularly in the case of a direct mechanical connection between the pinion and the door leaf. Alternatively or additionally, the pinion hub or axle can also be used to form part of the door leaf's guidance system by interacting with the edges of the guide slot.

[0032] Furthermore, the fitting according to the invention can be characterized in that the locking device comprises a cable connection between the upper fitting unit and the lower fitting unit, wherein a cable of the cable connection is guided in such a way that it engages a first side of the upper fitting unit and a second side of the lower fitting unit opposite the first side with respect to the axis of rotation, wherein in the assembled state the axis of rotation divides a lower edge of the door leaf into a larger first edge section and a smaller second edge section, wherein in particular the first edge section is at least twice, preferably at least 10 times larger than the second edge section, and wherein the second side of the lower fitting unit faces the first edge section of the lower edge.By using such a cable connection as part of a locking device, the cable of which is preferably kept under tension, it can be ensured that, in the event of a breakout, where, as described above, the upper fitting unit is fixed in the ceiling guide, the lower fitting unit is also locked in the floor guide, at least against movement in the direction opposite to the second side of the lower fitting unit. The arrangement according to the invention, such that the cable is guided along the larger first edge section before engaging the second side of the lower fitting unit, ensures that this larger, longer first edge section is prevented from tilting towards the floor guide. In this way, reliably enabling the door leaf to swing open in the event of a breakout can be ensured particularly easily.

[0033] Furthermore, the fitting according to the invention can be further developed such that the cable of the cable connection is a steel cable. Steel cables are particularly strong and permanently stable. They can transmit high forces even with small diameters and thus low weight. Furthermore, steel cables are length-stable, so that complex tensioning devices in the cable connection can be dispensed with or at least made simpler and smaller.

[0034] According to an alternative or additional embodiment, the fitting according to the invention can further be characterized in that the cable connection has three deflection pulleys, wherein the cable runs from the upper fitting unit to an upper deflection pulley, from this to a first lower deflection pulley, from this past the lower fitting unit to a second lower deflection pulley, and from this back to the lower fitting unit. As already described above, the cable engages two sides of the upper and lower fitting units that are opposite each other with respect to the axis of rotation. The cable therefore requires a guide that fulfills this condition. A guide with three deflection pulleys can not only fulfill this requirement particularly easily, but also allows the cable to be guided completely around the door leaf without the need for complex additional guides. For example, at least one of the pulleys can be arranged within the frame of the sliding door. This makes it particularly easy to avoid routing the cable over the space covered by the door leaf, which could be considered a disadvantage, especially with a door leaf made of a transparent material.

[0035] The embodiment of the fitting according to the invention described in the preceding paragraph can be further developed such that the rope runs from the upper fitting unit parallel to the sliding directions to the upper deflection pulley, from this perpendicular to the sliding directions to the first lower deflection pulley, from this parallel to the sliding directions to the second lower deflection pulley, and from this deflected by 180° again parallel to the sliding directions back to the lower fitting unit. InIn this design, the cable connecting the upper and lower fitting units runs either parallel or perpendicular to the sliding directions. Concealing the cable within the fitting and / or frame of the sliding door is particularly easy in this way. Since sliding doors predominantly have rectangular elements, especially door leaves but also adjacent fixed panels, scaling the cable connection between sliding doors of different sizes can also be simplified.

[0036] Furthermore, the fitting according to the invention can be provided with a base guide comprising a Z-shaped first profile and a U-shaped second profile, wherein the two profiles are connected to each other, preferably screwed together, in such a way that they form a guide space with a guide slot open along the sliding directions, wherein both profiles adjoin the guide slot, and wherein the toothing is arranged on the side of the guide slot formed by the first profile in the guide space, preferably wherein the profiles are designed as sheet metal profiles. If a locking device with toothing is used, the base guide must be designed accordingly so that the additional toothing can be arranged in it. It has been found that, from a manufacturing and economic perspective, a base guide composed of two profiles, in particular sheet metal profiles, is most advantageous.Particularly when the two profiles are screwed together, this screw connection can also be used to attach the floor guide. The Z-shaped and U-shaped design of the two profiles makes it particularly easy to create a guide space inside the floor guide. This space accommodates not only the toothing but also a section of the lower fitting unit, guided by the floor guide and including the locking element. The open guide slot allows for both easy guidance of the lower fitting unit during normal operation and the mechanical connection of the locking element of the locking device to the door leaf.

[0037] Furthermore, the fitting according to the invention can be designed such that the locking device engages the lower fitting unit in the floor guide by friction and / or positive locking when the door leaf is rotated by 10° or less, preferably by 5° or less. To reliably prevent the door leaf from tilting when opening in a breakout situation, locking immediately at the start of the opening motion, or at least as early as possible during the opening motion, is advantageous. Locking the lower fitting unit even at rotation angles of the door leaf of less than 10° fulfills this requirement. In the embodiments described above, this can be achieved, for example, by appropriately designing the thread pitch of a threaded pin, the angle of a locking edge, or the size of a pinion and rack.Another possibility is to use a gear unit in the mechanical connection between the door leaf and the locking device, whereby even a small rotation of the door leaf leads to a mechanical response of the locking device that is increased according to the gear ratio.

[0038] Furthermore, the problem is solved by a sliding door with breakout functionality, comprising a fitting for a sliding door and at least one door leaf which, in normal operation, is displaceably mounted by the fitting along a first sliding direction and an opposite second sliding direction. The sliding door according to the invention is characterized in that the fitting is designed according to the first aspect of the invention. All the advantages described above with regard to a fitting according to the first aspect of the invention can thus also be provided by a sliding door according to the second aspect of the invention, which has the fitting according to the first aspect of the invention.

[0039] A sliding door according to the invention has at least one door leaf which is slidably mounted by the fitting according to the invention. However, the sliding door according to the invention is not limited to this, but can also have further door leaves which can likewise be mounted by fittings according to the invention. Fixed leaves, with and / or without breakout functionality, can also be parts of a sliding door according to the invention. A sliding door according to the invention can be used as a building closure, but also installed inside a building. Mobile use, for example on ships or in trains, is also conceivable.

[0040] The invention is described below with reference to the figures. Elements with the same function and mode of operation are each provided with the same reference numerals in the figures.

[0041] They show schematically: Fig. 1an embodiment of a sliding door with a fitting that does not have all the features of claim 1, Fig. 2 an embodiment of a fitting that is not part of the claimed invention, Fig. 3 two views of a first embodiment of the fitting according to the invention, Fig. 4 a simplified representation of parts of a locking device of a further embodiment of the fitting according to the invention, Fig. 5 an oblique view of a pinion of a locking device, and Fig. 6 a simplified side view of a floor guide of an embodiment of the fitting according to the invention.

[0042] Fig. 1Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a sliding door 200 equipped with a fitting 10. The fitting 10 has an upper fitting unit 40, which is guided and mounted in a ceiling guide 36 of the fitting 10. Furthermore, a floor guide 20 and a lower fitting unit 50 are provided as part of the fitting 10, the latter also being guided and mounted in the floor guide 20. A door leaf 210 of the sliding door 200 is arranged and attached to the upper and lower fitting units 40 and 50, and is thus also slidably mounted, in particular in a first sliding direction 300 and an opposite second sliding direction 400. In the embodiment shown, the first sliding direction 300 corresponds to an opening direction 302, and the second sliding direction 400 to a closing direction 402 of the sliding door 200.Furthermore, a drive 202 is integrated into the ceiling guide 36, so that the opening and closing of the sliding door 200 can also be driven and thus be automatic in normal operation.

[0043] In addition to normal operation, in which the door leaf 210 moves along the sliding directions 300 and 400, the sliding door 200, enabled by the fitting 10, also offers a breakout function. If necessary, for example in the event of a fire alarm or another incident requiring the entire sliding door 200 to be opened quickly and completely, the door leaf 210 can also be swung open like a hinged door. The two fitting units 40 and 50 are designed accordingly for this pivoting action, defining a pivot axis 212, around which the door leaf 210 pivots, between the two fitting units 40 and 50.

[0044] While the upper fitting unit 40 is usually already locked in place when a breakout occurs, for example, by the drive 202 being blocked in the breakout event, this is not the case for the lower fitting unit 50 in sliding doors 200 of the prior art. When a force is applied to the door leaf 210 to pivot it about the axis of rotation 212, which usually acts with a long lever arm on a side of the door leaf 210 opposite the axis of rotation 212, there is a risk that the remaining movement of the lower fitting unit 50 in the floor guide 20 will cause the door leaf 210 to tilt. In the Fig. 1In the variant shown, the lower fitting unit 50 would deflect under force, particularly in the first sliding direction 300, and the lower edge 214 of the door leaf 210, especially the larger first edge section 216 of the two edge sections 216, 218 into which the lower edge 214 is divided by the pivot axis 212, would become jammed against the floor guide 20 and / or the floor. Opening the door leaf 210 could then no longer be guaranteed, and the breakout functionality of the sliding door 200 would no longer be available.

[0045] To resolve this problem, the fitting 10, and thus the sliding door 200, has a locking device 12 which, in the event of a breakout, locks the lower fitting unit 50 against movement in at least one of the sliding directions 300, 400. In the Fig. 1In the illustrated embodiment, this locking device 12 has in particular a cable connection 100, the cable 102 of which is arranged between the fitting units 40, 50. In particular, the cable 102 engages different sides 42, 52 of the fitting units 40, 50 with respect to the pivot axis 212 of the door leaf 210. In particular, the side 52 of the lower fitting unit 50 is selected such that it faces the larger first edge section 216.

[0046] The cable 102 is further guided over three deflection pulleys 104, 106, 108, with the cable 102 running from the upper fitting unit 40 parallel to the sliding directions 300, 400 to the upper deflection pulley 104, from this perpendicular to the sliding directions 300, 400 to the first lower deflection pulley 106, from this parallel to the sliding directions 300, 400 to the second lower deflection pulley 108, and from this deflected by 180° again parallel to the sliding directions 300, 400 back to the lower fitting unit 50. This arrangement of the cable 102 has the primary advantage that the length of the required cable 102 is constant regardless of the position of the door leaf 210. Furthermore, the attachment of the rope 102 to different sides 42, 52 of the two fitting units 40, 50 described above can be provided particularly easily, while at the same time it is easy to conceal the rope 102 behind covers of the fitting 10 or the entire sliding door 200.

[0047] In the event of a breakout, as described above, the upper fitting unit 40 is normally locked in the ceiling guide 36. Due to the cable connection 100, the lower fitting unit 50 is also automatically prevented from moving in the first sliding direction 300. This reliably prevents the door leaf 210 from being obstructed or even prevented from swinging open by tilting it towards the floor guide 20. In other words, this ensures that the door leaf 210 will swing open in the event of a breakout.

[0048] Besides the in Fig. 1 In addition to the illustrated design with a rope connection 100, there are further alternative or additional possibilities for the design of the locking device 12. These are described in the following Figures 2 to 6 shown and described in more detail.

[0049] In Fig. 2Two figures A and B are shown, where figure A shows a top view of a fitting 10, in particular the bottom guide 20 and parts of the lower fitting unit 50, in normal operation and figure B shows a side view of this fitting 10 at the beginning of a breakout case.

[0050] In this embodiment, the lower fitting unit 50 incorporates essential parts of the locking device 12. A guide element 60 is mounted in the floor guide 20 along the sliding directions 300, 400. As indicated in Figure B, movement of the guide element 60 perpendicular to the sliding directions 300, 400, particularly upwards, is also limited by the floor guide 20. A threaded pin receptacle 62 is centrally provided in the guide element 60, into whose internal thread 64 a matching external thread 74 of a locking element 70, in particular a threaded pin 72, engages. The threaded pin 72 is fixed to the door leaf 210 (see Figure B). Fig. 1) connected, so that a rotation of the door leaf 210 causes a corresponding rotation of the threaded pin 72.

[0051] In normal operation, see Figure A, the door leaf 210 is guided by the guide element 60 and its interaction with the floor guide 20 along the sliding directions 300, 400.

[0052] In the breakout case, the beginning of which is shown in Figure B, the door leaf 210 is pivoted about its axis of rotation 212, which in the illustrated case also corresponds to the axis of rotation 212 of the threaded pin 72. This causes the threaded pin 72 to rotate via the mechanical coupling, which in turn extends the threaded pin 72 completely out of the guide element 60 via the threaded connection 64, 74, and wedges it against the lower end of the floor guide 20. A preferably conical element end 76, as shown, supports this wedge action, as does a correspondingly shaped continuous groove 22 in the floor guide 20. As a result of the aforementioned wedge action of the threaded pin 72, or more generally of a locking element 70, the lower fitting unit 50 is locked in the floor guide 20. This occurs particularly even at small rotation angles of the door leaf 210, preferably at rotation angles of less than 10°.This also ensures that the door leaf 210 can be swung open in the event of a breakout, in particular against movement in both sliding directions 300, 400.

[0053] An embodiment of a locking device 12 of a fitting 10 according to the invention is shown in Fig. 3 shown. In this embodiment as well, the locking device 12 is designed to lock the lower fitting unit 50 in the floor guide 20 against movement in both sliding directions 300, 400. In the upper figure A of the Fig. 3 This is a breakout case; the lower figure B shows normal operation.

[0054] In this embodiment, a toothing 32 is arranged in a guide chamber 28 of the base guide 20, the toothing 32 extending along the sliding directions 300, 400. Furthermore, the locking device 12, as part of the lower fitting unit 50, has a locking element 80 also arranged in the guide chamber 28, which, as shown, may preferably be cuboid in shape. The locking element 80 has, in particular, a locking edge 82, and the toothing 32 is designed accordingly. At the locking edge 82, the locking element 80 shown has an angle of 90°; preferably, an angle between 80° and 100° is used.

[0055] A sliding side 90 adjoins the locking edge 82, which in normal operation, as shown in Figure B, is aligned along the sliding directions 300, 400. This allows the locking element 80, and thus the entire lower fitting unit 50, not only to be moved along the sliding directions 300, 400, but also, for example, to be guided by the sliding side 90 sliding along the toothing 32.

[0056] According to the invention, the locking element 80 is connected to the door leaf 210 in the assembled state (cf. Fig. 1) mechanically connected, preferably directly or indirectly, for example via a gear unit. In this way, in the event of a breakout, pivoting the door leaf 210 leads to a rotation of the locking element 80 in the guide space 28, see Figure A. The locking edge 82 then engages in the toothing 32 and thus positively locks the entire lower fitting unit 50 in the floor track 20. In the illustrated embodiment, this is further supported by the edge of the locking element 80, which is diagonally opposite the locking edge 82, abutting the inside of the guide space 28.

[0057] Parts of a particularly preferred embodiment of a fitting 10 according to the invention or of the corresponding locking device 12 are shown in the Fig. 4, 5shown, which are described together below. This embodiment also includes a toothed gear 32 and a locking element 80, which, as in the one described in Fig. 3 The embodiment of the locking device 12 according to the invention is designed in the floor guide 20 or as part of the lower fitting unit 50 (see illustration). Fig. 3 ).

[0058] In contrast to a locking element 80 with a simple locking edge 82, in the Fig. 4, 5 In the embodiment shown, the locking element 80 is now designed as a pinion 84 and the toothing 32 as a matching rack 34. A plastic can be used as the preferred material for both the pinion 84 and the rack 34. As shown, in normal operation (cf. Fig. 4The pinion section 88 facing the rack 34 is designed as a toothless sliding surface 90, thereby enabling movement of the pinion 84 and thus of the entire lower fitting unit 50 along the sliding directions 300, 400. The sliding surface 90 can preferably be produced by milling a section 88 of a complete pinion 84. The sliding surface 90 on the rack 34 also provides part of the guidance for this movement. A further part of this guidance can be provided, in particular, by a pinion hub 86 of the pinion 84, which is located in a guide slot 30 (see figure). Fig. 6 ) the floor guide 20 is guided.

[0059] As explained above, this shows in particular Fig. 4 normal operation. In the event of a breakout, the pinion 84, which in the assembled state is connected to the door leaf 210 (see below), is disengaged. Fig. 1) mechanically connected, is also twisted and engages in the rack 34 after only a few degrees of rotation, preferably 10° or less. In this way, the lower fitting unit 50 is locked in the floor guide 20 with only minimal delay, and the door leaf 210 can swing open unhindered.

[0060] Fig. 6 shows a preferred embodiment of a floor guide 20, as it is used in particular with a locking device 12 in the Figs. 2 to 5The illustrated embodiments can be used. For this purpose, the base guide 20 has a Z-shaped first profile 24 and a U-shaped second profile 26. The profiles 24, 26, which are preferably designed as sheet metal profiles, can be screwed together, and the screw connection 38 can also be used to fix the entire base guide 20. Due to the special shape of the profiles 24, 26, they form a guide space 28 with a guide slot 30 open along the sliding directions 300, 400. In this way, sufficient installation space for the toothing 32, which is designed, for example, as a rack 34, can be created particularly easily. The locking element 80 or the pinion 84 can then be arranged in the guide space 28.The mechanical connection to the door leaf 210 can be made via the guide slot 30, which is arranged at the upper edge of the guide space 28 and is formed jointly by both profiles 24, 26, for example by a pinion hub 86, which is additionally guided by the guide slot 30.
