Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a sauna stool according to claim 1 and a sauna cabin with a sauna stool according to claim 8.

[0002] Due to the often limited space in sauna cabins, especially for home use and particularly in extendable sauna cabins, the interior design must be space-saving and efficient while offering the user a variety of possible uses for the sauna cabin.

[0003] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a sauna stool that meets the requirements for the interior design of a sauna cabin described above.

[0004] The problem is solved by the features of independent claim 1. Accordingly, a solution to the problem according to the invention exists if a sauna stool for a sauna cabin, preferably an extendable sauna cabin, has a first usable surface and a second usable surface which are rectangular, arranged perpendicular to each other and have a common edge, wherein the sauna stool has a first height in a first position in which the first usable surface points upwards and the sauna stool has a second height in a second position in which the second usable surface points upwards.

[0005] The solution according to the invention allows the sauna stool to be used in the first position and the second position as a surface for sitting or resting one's feet, thus making it versatile. In addition, one of the positions can be used for storage, allowing the sauna stool to be positioned, for example, under a sauna bench in a sauna cabin. Furthermore, switching between the two positions is simple and requires only tilting the sauna stool.

[0006] According to the invention, the usable surfaces are surfaces that can be used as a seat or storage surface and are essentially flat. A projected surface of the first usable surface onto a plane parallel to the first usable surface corresponds to a projected surface of the sauna stool onto the same plane. Likewise, a projected surface of the second usable surface onto a plane parallel to the second usable surface corresponds to a projected surface of the sauna stool onto the same plane.

[0007] Preferably, the first height does not correspond to the second height. This means the possible uses differ between the two positions.

[0008] Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0009] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first usable surface has a handle by which the sauna stool can be moved from the first position to the second position and back. This makes it easier to move the sauna stool from the first position to the second position and back. The handle can, among other things, be designed as an opening in the first usable surface into which one hand can grasp.

[0010] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment, the sauna stool forms a cavity. This cavity can be used to store additional components, thereby saving further space.

[0011] Preferably, the sauna stool is designed such that the cavity is open in one direction perpendicular to the first usable surface and in another direction perpendicular to the second usable surface. Because the cavity in the sauna stool is open in two mutually perpendicular directions, it is possible to slide an object into the cavity along the floor of the sauna cabin in one of these directions without any part of the sauna stool obstructing this.

[0012] Preferably, the sauna stool further comprises two first struts, which are either arranged at corners of an edge of the first usable surface opposite the common edge and perpendicular to the first usable surface, and terminate at a height of an edge of the second usable surface opposite the common edge, or arranged at corners of the edge of the second usable surface opposite the common edge and terminate at a height of the edge of the first usable surface opposite the common edge, and two second struts, which are arranged between the first struts and either the first usable surface or the second usable surface, perpendicular to the first struts and either the first usable surface or the second usable surface. This forms a stable stool that can be stably positioned on at least four points in the first position and the second position. The sauna stool is preferably formed only from the first usable surface, the second usable surface, the first struts, and the second struts, whereby the usable surfaces can be composed of several elements. This results in a material-saving design for the sauna stool.

[0013] Preferably, the second struts are arranged at the ends of the first struts, such that they are positioned between the ends of the first struts and the corners of the edge of the first usable surface or second usable surface opposite the common edge.

[0014] This means that the storage surface of the sauna stool in the first position and the second position is formed by a lateral surface of the first or second struts and one of the edges of the first or second usable surface opposite the common edge.

[0015] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the sauna stool is made of wood, preferably abachi or walnut. Such materials are especially suitable for the interior design of sauna cabins.

[0016] Furthermore, the present invention relates to a sauna cabin comprising a heating system and a sauna bench with a lying surface, wherein the sauna cabin includes a sauna stool according to one of the embodiments described above, and the first height corresponds to the height of the lying surface and the second height is lower than the height of the lower edge of the sauna bench. Accordingly, advantageous uses of the sauna stool in combination with the sauna cabin arise. In the first position, the sauna stool can be pushed up against the sauna bench so that the first usable surface extends the lying surface of the sauna bench. In the second position, the sauna stool can be at least partially stored under the sauna bench and / or used as an additional seat on a lower level in the sauna cabin or as a footrest for a sauna user sitting on the sauna bench.Accordingly, the sauna cabin according to the invention, together with the sauna stool according to the invention, offers additional usage possibilities.

[0017] In a preferred embodiment, the first height is less than the width of the sauna bench, and the sauna stool has a third height, perpendicular to the first and second heights, which is less than the depth of the sauna bench. This allows the sauna stool to be completely stowed under the sauna bench in the second position.

[0018] According to another preferred embodiment, the sauna cabin has a small stool that can be inserted into the hollow of the sauna stool in a direction perpendicular to the first usable surface or in a direction perpendicular to the second usable surface. This allows an additional interior fitting in the form of the small stool to be used and stored in the sauna cabin without requiring additional space, particularly for storage.

[0019] In a further particularly preferred embodiment, the sauna cabin is a retractable sauna cabin comprising a first cabin element and a second cabin element, wherein the second cabin element is telescopically movable relative to the first cabin element between a retracted position and an extended position, and wherein the sauna bench is arranged in the first cabin element. Retractable sauna cabins allow a sauna to be set up even with limited space when the sauna is not in use. However, in the retracted position, this results in an even smaller interior volume of the sauna cabin, making the use of the sauna stool according to the invention even more advantageous.

[0020] In the second position, the sauna stool is preferably positioned below the sauna bench when the sauna cabin is in its retracted position. Ideally, the sauna stool can be completely stowed away beneath the sauna bench in the second position. This allows for very space-saving storage of the sauna stool within the sauna cabin when moving it from the extended to the retracted position.

[0021] In a preferred embodiment of the sauna cabin as an extendable sauna cabin, the sauna stool is dimensioned such that it can be moved from the second position to the first position within the sauna cabin when the cabin is in the extended position, wherein the third height corresponds to at least 90%, preferably at least 95%, of the distance between the sauna bench and a front wall of the second cabin element in the extended position of the sauna cabin. This allows for the greatest possible increase in the lying area and fully utilizes the volume difference between the retracted and extended positions.

[0022] In another preferred embodiment, the heating system is arranged next to the sauna bench in the first cabin element, with the top of the heating system forming an extension of the sauna bench. This allows for a further increase in the lying surface.

[0023] According to another preferred embodiment, the sauna stool is dimensioned such that it can be placed in the second position on the sauna bench and the heating element when the sauna cabin is in the retracted position and the first height is greater than the width of the sauna bench. This is particularly advantageous when the sauna cabin is very narrow and the sauna stool can no longer be stored under the sauna bench.

[0024] Exemplary embodiments of the sauna stool and the sauna cabin with sauna stool according to the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to drawings.

[0025] The drawings show: Figure 1 A, B: two oblique views from above of a first embodiment of a sauna stool in the first and second positions, Figure 2: an oblique view from above of a second embodiment of the sauna stool in the second position, Figure 3: an oblique view from above of the second embodiment of the sauna stool in the second position and a small stool, Figure 4: an oblique view from above of the second embodiment of the sauna stool in the second position, the small stool and a first cabin element of a first embodiment of an extendable sauna cabin, Figure 5 A, B: a schematic top view of the first embodiment of an extendable sauna cabin in the retracted and extended positions with a sauna stool, Figure 6: a front view of a second embodiment of an extendable sauna cabin in the retracted position with a sauna stool and a small stool.Figure 7: A front view of a third embodiment of an extendable sauna cabin in the retracted position with a sauna stool and a small stool.

[0026] In the following illustrations, identical parts are labelled with the same reference symbols. If a figure contains reference symbols that are not explicitly addressed in the corresponding figure description, reference is made to previous or subsequent figure descriptions.

[0027] The Figures 1A and BFigure 1 shows a first embodiment of a sauna stool 1 according to the invention. This stool has a first usable surface 2 and a second usable surface 3, which can be used as a seat or shelf. These surfaces are rectangular and arranged perpendicular to each other along a common edge 4. The first and second usable surfaces 2 and 3 consist of several parallel beams, with the first usable surface 2 having a recess 7 in its center. In addition to the two usable surfaces 2 and 3, the sauna stool 1 has two first rails 5, which are arranged at the corners of the edge of the first usable surface 2 opposite the common edge 4 and run perpendicular to the first usable surface 2 and parallel to the second usable surface 3, so that the sauna stool 1 can be positioned in a first position, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1A, can be positioned on the ends of the first rails 5 and the edge of the second usable surface 3 opposite the common edge 4, such that the first usable surface 2 faces upwards. In addition, the sauna stool 1 can be placed in a second position, as shown in Figure 1BThe sauna stool 1 is arranged in such a way that the second usable surface faces upwards and the sauna stool 1 rests on the lateral surfaces of the first rails 5 and the edge of the first usable surface 2 opposite the common edge 4. The first embodiment of the sauna stool 1 also has two second rails 6 that run perpendicular to the second usable surface 3 and perpendicular to the orientation of the first rails 5 between the respective first rails 5 and the second usable surface 3.Between the first usable surface 2, the second usable surface 3, the first rails 5 and the second rails 6, the sauna stool 1 forms a cavity 8, which is open in a perpendicular direction to the first usable surface 2 and perpendicular direction to the second usable surface 3 such that a component can be pushed between the first rails 5 under the first usable surface 2 when the sauna stool 1 is in the first position, and a component can be pushed between the second rails 6 under the second usable surface 3 when the sauna stool 1 is in the second position.

[0028] In the first position, the sauna stool 1 has a first height of 13, and in the second position, a second height of 14, with the first height 13 and the second height 14 being shaped differently. The sauna stool 1 can be tilted from the first position to the second position, whereby the grip 7 can be used to facilitate the tilting process.

[0029] Figure 2 Figure 1 shows a second embodiment of the sauna stool 1 in the second position, which differs in that the second rails 6 are arranged between the ends of the first rails 5 and the corners of the edge of the second usable surface 3 opposite the common edge 4.

[0030] Figure 3Figure 1 shows the second embodiment of the sauna stool in the second position and an additional small stool 9, which is partially inserted into the cavity 8 of the sauna stool 1. The sauna stool 1 and the small stool 9 are dimensioned such that the small stool 9 can be fully inserted into the cavity 8 of the sauna stool 1 in the second position.

[0031] Figure 4Figure 1 shows a first cabin element 10 of a first embodiment of a sauna cabin 11, wherein this embodiment is an extendable sauna cabin 11, a sauna stool 1, and a small stool 9. The first cabin element 10 includes a sauna bench 12 and a heating system 19. The sauna stool 1 is dimensioned with respect to the first cabin element 10 such that its first height 13 corresponds to the height of a lying surface of the sauna bench 12, and its second height 14 is lower than a lower edge of the sauna bench 12. Accordingly, the sauna stool 1 can be pushed under the sauna bench 12 in the second position if its first height 13 is lower than a width 16 of the sauna bench 12. Furthermore, the first usable surface 3 increases the lying surface of the sauna bench 12 when the sauna stool 1 is in its first position and pushed against the sauna bench 12.

[0032] In addition to the first height 13 and the second height 14, the sauna stool 1 has a third height 15, which is perpendicular to the first height 13 and the second height 14. Thus, the second height 14 and third height 15 span the area of the first usable surface 2, and the first height 13 and third height 15 span the area of the second usable surface 3. The sauna stool 1 is dimensioned such that the third height 15 is less than the depth 17 of the sauna bench 12, so that in the second position the sauna stool 1 fits completely under the sauna bench 12. Figure 4 The illustrated embodiment can be pushed.

[0033] Figure 5 Figure 1 shows a top view of the first embodiment of the sauna cabin 11, showing not only the first cabin element 10 but also a second cabin element 18, which can be extended relative to the first cabin element 10. Figure 5A sauna cabin 11 in the retracted position and Figure 5BThe sauna cabin 11 is shown in the extended position. In the retracted position, the sauna stool 1 and the small stool 9 are positioned below the sauna bench 12, so that the latter is not in the Figure 5A are shown. In the Figure 5AThe sauna stool 1 is positioned between the sauna bench 12 and a front wall of the second cabin element 18. The third height 15 of the sauna stool 1 is designed such that the first usable surface 2 of the sauna stool 1 almost completely fills the area between the sauna bench 12 and the front wall of the second cabin element 18. This maximizes the usable lying area in the extended position of the sauna cabin 11. The small stool 9 is also positioned next to the sauna stool 1 in the area between the sauna bench 12 and the front wall of the second cabin element 18 and can be used as a footrest. Additionally, the top of the heating system 19 is designed to serve as a lying surface. This further increases the lying area of the sauna cabin 11.

[0034] The Figures 6 and 7Figures 1 and 2 show front views of two further embodiments of the sauna cabin 11 with a sauna stool 1 and a small stool 9, wherein the sauna cabins 11 shown are each extendable sauna cabins in the retracted position and the difference between the two embodiments is in the width of the sauna cabins 11 and correspondingly the width 16 of the sauna lounger 12.

[0035] In the Figure 6 In the illustrated embodiment of the sauna cabin 11, the width 16 of the sauna bench 12 is higher than the first height 13 of the sauna stool 1. This allows the sauna stool 1 to be arranged below the sauna bench 12 in the retracted position of the sauna cabin 11.

[0036] In the Figure 7In the illustrated embodiment of the sauna cabin 11, the width 16 of the sauna bench 12 is less than the first height 13 of the sauna stool 1. Accordingly, the sauna stool 1 cannot be positioned below the sauna bench 12 in the retracted position of the sauna cabin 11. Since the surface of the heating system 19 in the Figure 7 In the illustrated embodiment, where the sauna stool 1 is designed as a lying surface, the sauna stool 1 can instead be stored on the sauna bench 12 and the surface of the heating system 19, whereby the width of the interior of the sauna cabin 11 must be greater than the first height 13.
