Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to the field of sound systems and in particular that of sound systems for bodies of water such as ponds.
[0002] The invention thus relates more particularly to a sound system for a pool and a pool equipped with such a sound system. State of the prior art
[0003] It is known from document FR 3098833 A1 to provide sound systems for pools. Such devices, based on the use of electroacoustic transducers, such as that taught by document WO 2022 / 008685 A1, make it possible to provide a sound environment both in the aerial environment of the pool, via its emerged part, and in the aquatic environment of the pool, via its submerged part.
[0004] Thus, while such pond sound systems provide good sound for the pond, they nevertheless have the disadvantage of generally having to be connected by wire to a sound source. Indeed, the aquatic configuration does not allow for truly effective wired operation. Statement of the invention
[0005] The invention aims to overcome this drawback and thus aims to provide a pool sound system device which allows an optimized wireless connection in order to allow wireless transmission of audio signals to the sound system device.
[0006] The invention relates to this end to a sound system for a pool comprising: at least a first wall and a second wall, the first and second walls being arranged in such a way that one of the first and second walls is, in use of the sound system, at least partly submerged in the pool, the other of the first and second walls being emerged, a first electroacoustic transducer secured to the first wall and a second electroacoustic transducer secured to the second wall, a control unit configured to control and power the first and second electroacoustic transducers, wherein the control unit comprises a radio frequency communication module, such as a Bluetooth communication module ™ or wifi ™ , including at least one antenna arranged in the sound device such that the antenna is at least partly above a waterline of the pool when the sound device is arranged at least partly in the pool.
[0007] Unlike the prior art, in the sound system device according to the invention, due to the arrangement of the antenna at least partly above a water line of the pool, a wireless connection is allowed which is not, or is only slightly, affected by the surrounding water of the pool. As a result, the wireless connection offered by the communication module can be reliable and less energy-consuming compared to the pool sound systems of the prior art offering such a wireless connection.
[0008] By "basin" is meant here, and in the rest of this document, any type of body of water, water basins or water reservoir whether or not they are suitable for swimming, whether this "basin" is for collective or private use, whatever their shape and / or their dimensions and / or the materials they are made of, and whether the latter are natural, such as a lake, a pond, an inlet, or artificial, such as a swimming pool or a bathtub. Non-limiting examples include in-ground pools, semi-in-ground pools, above-ground pools, public pools, spas, pools or swimming lanes with or without a counter-current. The term "basin" also refers to pools for decorative purposes or those suitable for housing animals such as fish, birds or aquatic mammals.
[0009] The sound device may be buoyant and may have at least a first waterline when arranged in the pool, the antenna being arranged at least partially above the first waterline of the sound device.
[0010] With such a flotation characteristic, the device is able to play a central role in the sound system of the pool without this having a significant influence on the wireless communication possibilities of the sound system device of the invention.
[0011] The sound system may have at least a first configuration in which the first wall is at least partly submerged, the second wall being emerged and, a second configuration, the first wall is partly emerged, the second wall being at least partly submerged, the sound system having: the first waterline when arranged in the basin in the first configuration, and a second waterline when arranged in the basin in the second configuration, the at least one antenna being arranged in such a way as to present: a first portion above the first waterline when the sound device is arranged in the pool in the first configuration, and a second portion, separate from or partly merged with the first portion, above the second waterline when the sound device is arranged in the pool in the second configuration.
[0012] With such a configuration, the user does not have to worry about the configuration in which the sound system is located since the antenna allows for an effective wireless connection regardless of this configuration.
[0013] the control unit may include a signal processing module configured to receive an audio signal from the wireless communication module and to apply audio processing to the signal distinct between the first and second transducers so as to provide a control audio signal with processing adapted to the aquatic environment to the one of the first and second transducers that is associated with the one of the first and second walls that is at least partially submerged.
[0014] In this way, the sound transmitted into the air environment and the aquatic environment of the pool is optimal.
[0015] The processing module may have a first processing configuration in which the control audio signal is transmitted to the first transducer with the processing adapted to the aquatic environment, and a second processing configuration in which the control audio signal is transmitted to the second transducer with the processing adapted to the aquatic environment.
[0016] Thus, optimal sound transmission can be implemented both in the first configuration of the sound system and in its second configuration.
[0017] The control module may comprise at least one sensor capable of detecting the configuration in which the sound device is located among the first and the second configuration and the sound device and the processing module being configured to: switching from the first processing configuration to the second processing configuration when the sensor detects a transition of the sound device from the first configuration to the second configuration and switching from the second processing configuration to the first processing configuration when the sensor detects a transition of the sound device from the second configuration to the first configuration.
[0018] With such a sensor, the user does not have to worry about the configuration in which the sound device is located, the latter adapting the audio control signal of the first and second transducers according to the configuration in which it is located.
[0019] The control module may comprise at least one internal power source capable of providing electrical power to power the rest of the control module, the power source preferably being rechargeable.
[0020] In this way, the device is able to operate completely autonomously and does not have to be connected by wire to an audio source, so it can be moved around the pool without restriction.
[0021] The internal power source may be rechargeable and the control module may include at least one of: a solar charging system, such as a solar panel, an inductive charging system.
[0022] In this way, recharging the device can be simplified by being supplied either by sunlight or by a wireless charging base on which the device can simply be placed to enable such recharging.
[0023] At least one of the first and second walls is equipped with a lighting system, such as a lighting system, said at least one of the first and second walls (equipped being preferably a wall intended to be submerged so as to allow lighting of a bottom of the pool.
[0024] Such lighting can provide a visual ambiance to the pool that complements the sound ambiance already provided by the sound system according to the invention.
[0025] The invention further relates to a basin comprising a sound system device according to the invention.
[0026] Such a basin allows you to benefit from the advantages of the device according to the invention which equips it. Brief description of the drawings
[0027] The present invention will be better understood by reading the description of exemplary embodiments, given purely for informational purposes and in no way limiting, with reference to the appended drawings in which: There figure 1 illustrates a pool equipped with a sound system according to a first embodiment of the invention, the figure 2 illustrates a perspective view of the sound system of the figure 1 , there figure 3 illustrates according to a side sectional view of the sound system of the Figures 1 and 2 , there figure 4 illustrates an exploded view of the sound system of the figures 1 to 3 , and the Figure 5 is a functional diagram of a control module of the sound system of the figures 1 to 4 , there figure 6 illustrates a device according to a second embodiment of the invention.
[0028] Identical, similar or equivalent parts of different figures bear the same numerical references so as to facilitate the transition from one figure to another.
[0029] The different parts represented in the figures are not necessarily on a uniform scale, to make the figures more readable.
[0030] The different possibilities (variants and embodiments) must be understood as not being mutually exclusive and can be combined with each other.
[0031] It will be noted that the relative terms of "top", "bottom", "above", "below", "emerged", "immersed" are understood relative to the arrangement of the sound device in use on or in the pool. Thus, in the exemplary embodiment described in the present document, in which the sound device is a floating device, this is the arrangement of the sound device floating in the water of the pool, the wall intended to be emerged being a wall of the device not in contact with the water of the pool (i.e. the surface) when the sound device floats in the pool, the wall intended to be at least partly submerged being the wall of the device n in contact with the water of the pool (i.e. the surface) when the sound device floats in the pool. The reference frames of "top", "below", "top" and "bottom" are thus linked to the reference frames of the sound device in this configuration in use. Detailed description of specific embodiments
[0032] There figure 1 illustrates a pool equipped with a sound system 10 according to a first embodiment of the invention to provide sound to both the aerial environment and the aquatic environment of a pool 1, here a private swimming pool.
[0033] It will be noted that if, in the present embodiment, as shown in the figure 1 , the sound device 10 is a floating device, the latter can, in a manner similar to that taught in document FR 3098833 A1 and as described below in the context of the second embodiment, be capable of being arranged on an edge of a pool 1 without the latter being floating.
[0034] As shown on the figures 2 to 4 , the sound system 10 according to the invention comprises: at least one first wall 101A, at least one second wall 102A, a first electroacoustic transducer 111 secured to the first wall 101 in such a way as to allow sound transmission in the water of the pool and a second electroacoustic transducer 112 secured to the second wall 102, a control unit 130 configured to control and power the first and second electroacoustic transducers 111, 112.
[0035] The first and second walls 101A, 102A are arranged in such a way that one of the first and second walls 101A, 102A is, in use of the sound system 10, at least partly submerged in the basin 1, the other of the first and second walls 101A, 102A being emerged. On the figure 1 , we can see that it is the second wall 102A which has emerged.
[0036] The control unit 130 comprises a radiofrequency communication module 131, such as a Bluetooth ™ or wifi ™ communication module, including at least one antenna 131A arranged in the sound system device in such a way that the antenna is at least partly above a water line 3 of the pool when the sound system device is arranged at least partly in the pool 1.
[0037] This ensures that wireless communication between the control unit 130, i.e. the sound device 10, and a sound source 2, here a mobile phone of a user of the sound device 10, with reduced influence of the water in the pool 1.
[0038] In the present embodiment of the invention, the sound device 10 is in the general form of a polyhedron of the right prism type and more precisely of the right triangular prism type. Thus, as shown in the figure 2, the triangular bases of the sound device 10 respectively form the first and second walls 101A, 102A. The sound device according to this first embodiment also comprises, arranged at the level of each of its first and second walls 101A, 102A, this at the three vertices of the triangular bases, cavities 101B, 102B which are, for the emerged wall 102A, cup holder cavities 102B shaped to each receive a glass. With such an arrangement, the sound device 10 forms a floating bar allowing the glasses of three users to be received without risk of overturning.
[0039] As shown on the figures 3 And 4 , the sound system 10 according to the invention more specifically comprises: a first and a second shell 101, 102 of general half-polyhedron shape of the triangular prism type, one of the triangular bases being open, the other base respectively forming the first and second walls 101A, 102A, said first and second shells 101, 102 each having the cavities 101B, 102B, those of the second shell 102 forming a cup holder, a central seal 103 of triangular shape, shaped to tightly connect the first and second shells 101, 102 at their open base, a central support plate 104 held in the center of the sound device 10 by the central seal 103 to allow support of the control unit 130, holding pads 105, arranged on either side of the central support plate at each of the vertices of the triangle and the cavities 101B, 102B in support of the bottom of cavities 101B,102B in such a way that the pads 105 are held in abutment against the central support plate 105 by said cavities, the first and second electroacoustic transducers 111, 112 arranged integrally with the first and second walls 101A, 102A respectively, the control unit 130 supported by the central plate 104.,
[0040] The materials of the various constituent elements of the device, and in particular the first and second shells 101, 102 and the central seal 103, are preferably chosen to be compatible with use in a humid environment, particularly advantageously in a chlorinated humid environment. Thus, the first and second shells 101, 102 can both be made of a waterproof polymer, neutral with respect to water and a chlorinated environment, such as, for example, PVC (polychlorovinyl) or acrylic. The central seal 103 is preferably made of an elastomer neutral with respect to water and a chlorinated environment, such as a silicone, an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)-based elastomer, a nitrile (NBR) or a fluorinated elastomer.
[0041] In the context of the present embodiment, as shown in the figure 3, the sound system has at least a first configuration in which the first wall 101A is at least partly submerged, the second wall 102A being emerged (configuration illustrated in the figure 1 ) and, a second configuration, in which the first wall 101A is emerged, the second wall 102A being at least partly submerged. According to this possibility, the sound device 10 has: a first waterline 11A when arranged in the basin in the first configuration, and a second waterline 11B when arranged in the basin in the second configuration.
[0042] By "waterline" is meant here and in the rest of this document, in accordance with the definition given in the marine field, the line which separates the submerged part of the sound device 10 from the part which is emerged.
[0043] According to one possibility of the invention, the at least one antenna 131A can be arranged in such a way as to present: a first portion above the first waterline when the sound device 10 is arranged in the pool in the first configuration, and a second portion, separate from or partly merged with the first portion, above the second waterline when the sound device 10 is arranged in the pool in the second configuration.
[0044] Of course, if the presence of such a first and second portion can be obtained by means of an antenna extending on either side of the first and second waterline 11A, 11B as illustrated in the figure 3, it is also conceivable, according to a possibility not illustrated and without departing from the scope of the invention, that the wireless communication module comprises two antennas, a first antenna arranged in the first configuration of the sound device 10 above the first waterline 11A, and a second antenna arranged in the second configuration of the sound device 10 above the second waterline 11A.
[0045] Of course, in a so-called "simplified" configuration of the sound device 10 according to the present embodiment, the sound device may comprise only a single arrangement configuration in which the first wall 101A is intended to be at least partly, and preferably entirely, submerged, and the second wall 102A is intended to be emerged. According to this possibility, the cavities 101B arranged on the first wall 101A, the one intended to be at least partly submerged, may comprise equipment of the sound device 10, such as the lighting system discussed in the remainder of this document.
[0046] There Figure 5 illustrates a functional diagram of the control unit 130. As shown, the control unit may comprise: the connection module 131 in order to allow a wireless connection, such as for example by Bluetooth ™< or by wifi ™<, with a sound source in order to recover at least one audio signal to be broadcast, the connection module 131 comprising the at least one antenna 131A and a connection module 131B, such as a Bluetooth ™< or wifi ™< connection module, a processing module 133 capable of recovering the audio signal provided by the connection module 131 and processing it in order to provide a control audio signal to the first and second transducer based on the audio signal, an internal energy source 132 capable of providing an electrical power supply to power the rest of the control module 130, the internal energy source 132 here being a rechargeable energy source, such as one or more batteries for example based on lithium,a sensor 134 capable of detecting the configuration in which the sound device 10 is located among the first and second configurations and in which the sound device, an inductive charging system 135, configured to allow wireless charging of the energy source.
[0047] Of course, if the energy source is preferably rechargeable, as a variant and without departing from the scope of the invention, it can be based on one or more non-rechargeable batteries. In the same way, it is perfectly conceivable, without departing from the scope of the invention and in a non-advantageous manner, that the energy source is external, the device then being connected by wire to this energy source, such as an urban electricity network.
[0048] Likewise, if an inductive charging system 135 is advantageous, it is also possible, without departing from the scope of the invention, that in addition or as an alternative, the sound device 10 has a connector, preferably waterproof, to allow wired charging of the internal energy source 132.
[0049] In the same way, as an alternative or in addition to an inductive charging system 135, the sound system 10 may comprise a solar charging system, such as a solar panel. Such a solar panel may be arranged on at least one of the first and second walls 101A, 102A, advantageously intended to be exposed when the sound system 10 equips the pool 1. According to one possibility, the invention, each of the first and second walls 101A, 102A may be equipped with a solar panel. Of course, according to this possibility of the invention, said solar panel(s) is / are flush with the surface of the wall 101A, 102A which it equips or is arranged at the level of a part of said wall 101A, 102A which is substantially transparent in a light frequency range in which said solar panel(s) is / are capable of absorbing light.
[0050] According to one possibility of the invention, not illustrated, the control unit 130 can also be configured to control the lighting system, such as one or more light-emitting diodes, equipping at least one of the first and second walls 101A, 102A. This lighting system preferably equips a wall 101A, 102A intended to be submerged so as to allow lighting of a bottom of the pool. Thus, it is perfectly conceivable that the lighting system equips the first and second walls 101A, 102A when the sound system has two configurations. According to this possibility, the lighting system can be configured to illuminate only the wall among the first and second walls 101A, 102A, this from an indication of the configuration of the sound system 10 provided by the sensor 134.Depending on the possibility in which the sound device 10 has a simplified configuration, the lighting system can equip the cavities 101B of the first shell 101.
[0051] According to this possibility of the invention in which the system comprises a lighting system, the control unit 130 can also be configured to control the lighting system, this control can be based on the audio signal recovered from the connection module 131, the lighting provided changing intensity, color and / or direction, depending on the broadcast sound signal.
[0052] According to one possibility of the invention, the processing module 133 may be configured to receive the audio signal from the wireless communication module 131 and to apply audio processing to the audio signal distinct between the first and second transducers so as to provide a control audio signal with processing adapted to the aquatic environment to the transducer among the first and second transducers 111, 112 which is associated with the wall among the first and second walls 101A, 101B which is at least partly submerged. Such a configuration may be based on the indication of the configuration of the sound device 10 provided by the sensor 134.
[0053] Indeed, the processing module 133 can have a first processing configuration in which the control audio signal is transmitted to the first transducer 111 with the processing adapted to the aquatic environment, and a second processing configuration in which the control audio signal is transmitted to the second transducer 111 with the processing adapted to the aquatic environment. Of course, according to this possibility, in the first processing configuration, the control audio signal transmitted to the second transducer 112 has processing adapted to the aerial environment (or without processing other than simple amplification), and in the second processing configuration, the control audio signal transmitted to the first transducer 111 has processing adapted to the aerial environment (or without processing other than simple amplification).
[0054] According to this same possibility, the processing module (133) can be further configured to: switching from the first processing configuration to the second processing configuration when the sensor 134 detects a transition of the sound device 10 from the first configuration to the second configuration and switching from the second processing configuration to the first processing configuration when the sensor 134 detects a transition of the sound device 10 from the second configuration to the first configuration.
[0055] Likewise, according to one possibility of the invention, the control unit 130 may be able to receive several audio signals, at least a first and a second audio signal, and the processing module 133 may be able to provide, by the processing module 133, a first audio control signal to the first electroacoustic transducer 111 based on the first audio signal and a second audio control signal to the second electroacoustic transducer 112 based on the first audio signal. Of course, according to the principle already explained above, the audio control signal for the electroacoustic transducer 111, 112 associated with the wall 101A, 102A at least partly submerged may have processing adapted for the aquatic environment.
[0056] It will be noted that if in the context of the present illustrations of the sound system device 10 according to the invention, in particular those of the figures 3 And 4, the control unit 130 is shown diagrammatically in the form of a parallelepiped housing, of course in the context of a practical arrangement of the device according to the invention, the arrangement may be different. Thus, in a usual configuration, in which the processing module 133 may be provided in the form of one or more electronic cards associated with one or more batteries, said card(s) and said battery(ies) may, for example, be arranged in contact with the central support plate 104. According to this possibility, the control unit may comprise one or two antennas arranged in the vicinity of at least one of the first and second walls 101A, 102A which is a wall which is intended to be emerged.
[0057] It will also be noted that if in the present embodiment, the sound device 10 is provided in the form of a single housing, it is also conceivable, without departing from the scope of the invention, that the sound device 10 comprises several housings connected to each other. According to this possibility, for example, the device may comprise a first housing, comprising the first wall 101A, which is intended to be totally or partially submerged and a second housing, comprising the second wall 102A, which is intended to remain above water.
[0058] There figure 6 illustrates a sound system device 10 according to a second embodiment of the invention which has a configuration similar to that of the device according to document FR 3098833 A1 and which differs from the sound system device according to the first embodiment by its shape and the fact that it is mainly intended to equip a pool edge.
[0059] Thus, in a manner similar to the device according to document FR 3098833 A1, the sound system 10 has a general L-shape with: the base of the L having the second wall 102A which is intended to be emerged, the longitudinal portion of the L having the first wall 101A which is intended to be partly submerged.
[0060] On the other hand, unlike the teaching of document FR 3098833 A1 and in accordance with the invention, in the present embodiment, the control unit 130, including in particular the radiofrequency communication module 131, with its antenna, is arranged in the base of the L which is intended to come to bear on the edge of the pool 1 and thus to remain above water. Thus, with such a configuration, a wireless connection is ensured which is not disturbed by the water of the pool 1.
[0061] Of course, in accordance with the teaching of document FR 3098833 A1, the device may comprise a buoyancy adjustment system 116, such as a ballast in order to ensure good support of the sound device 10 on the edge of the pool 1 while allowing easy movement along the edge of the pool 1. In order to adjust the arrangement of the first wall 101A with respect to the water line, in accordance with the possibility described in document FR 3098833 A1, the longitudinal portion of the L of the sound device 10 according to this second embodiment may offer depth adjustment in the pool 1, for example by means of a telescopic portion or an elastic material portion. Similarly, instead of the buoyancy adjustment system 116, the sound device may comprise a ballast in order to ensure a positioning on the edge of the pool 1 or a suction cup system.
[0062] As indicated above in the general context of the invention, it is of course conceivable that the two parts of the L of the sound system device 10 can be detachable from one another, these remaining connected preferably by a wired connection, or, in the case where the processing unit 130 is arranged in two processing sub-units capable of being connected together with a wireless connection, by a wireless connection.
[0063] According to this latter possibility, each of its processing sub-units equips a respective part of the sound device 10. Of course, in such a configuration, in accordance with the invention, each of its processing sub-units comprises a respective antenna arranged in such a way that said antenna is at least partly above the water line 3 of the pool when the sound device is arranged at least partly in the pool 1. It will be noted that, taking into account the possibility offered by the buoyancy adjustment system of this second embodiment, the part of the sound device 10 having the first wall 101A and which corresponds to the longitudinal portion of the L can be floating when it is detached from the part of the sound device 10 having the second wall 102A.
