Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a drainage device for damming or draining a medium, a drainage system comprising a liquid reservoir, a drain pipe and a drainage device, a method for converting a drainage system and a drain closure for a liquid reservoir.
[0002] Drainage devices for damming or draining a medium from a liquid reservoir are known from the prior art. To prevent flooding and water damage, drainage devices must be designed to include an overflow device that prevents the liquid reservoir from overflowing. Document EP 23184772.4 discloses a drainage device for damming or draining a medium from a liquid reservoir. This known drainage device has the disadvantage of being bulky and requiring a large amount of installation space.
[0003] It is the object of the invention to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to provide a drainage device which can be operated safely and is easy to clean and compact.
[0004] The problem is solved by a drainage device for accumulating or draining a medium, a drainage system, a method for converting a drainage system and by a drainage closure for a liquid reservoir.
[0005] In particular, the object is achieved by a drainage device for damming or draining a medium from a liquid reservoir into a drain pipe. The drainage device comprises a cover, a first dam wall, and a second dam wall. The first dam wall is connected to the cover in an airtight manner. In a neutral state, the second dam wall has a dam wall distance from the cover. A first dam volume is formed between the first dam wall and the second dam wall. The second dam wall is designed to be movable relative to the cover. The second dam wall can be designed to be elastically movable relative to the cover.
[0006] Such a drainage device is simple in design, can be constructed compactly and enables the dedicated drainage of accumulated water at a defined water height.
[0007] The accumulation or drainage of a medium with the drainage device functions technically essentially in the same way as with a drainage closure as described in the document with the reference EP 23184772.4.
[0008] It is possible for the first baffle and the cover to be formed as a single piece. It is also possible for the first baffle and the cover to be connected by a thread. A sealing ring can be located between the first baffle and the cover. The sealing ring can be an O-ring. It is possible for the cover to be pushed, i.e. clamped, onto the first baffle. When the cover is in the target position, it snaps onto the first baffle and preferably penetrates into a recess in the first baffle. The cover is then arranged on the first baffle with a form-fitting fit. This allows the cover to be installed easily and securely. The first baffle and / or the second baffle can partially be designed essentially in the shape of a hollow cylinder or a hollow truncated cone. It is possible for the second baffle to be located within the cavity formed by the first baffle. It is also possible for the first retaining wall and / or the second retaining wall to be at least partially designed like the outer surface of a hollow cuboid. In this case, the drain closure is elongated. Such a drain closure can be used in an area in which a larger area is to be drained, for example in a shower. It is also possible for the first retaining wall and / or the second retaining wall to be at least partially designed like the outer surface of a hollow cube. The first retaining volume can be annular. In this case, the first retaining volume is essentially like part of a hollow truncated cone or a.
[0009] Part of a hollow conical cylinder.
[0010] A neutral state is a state in which essentially no forces other than gravity act on the drainage device. An elastic movement is a movement that occurs when a force is exerted on a component. When the force is no longer exerted on the component, the component moves back to its original position in an elastic movement. An elastic movement is therefore a movement in which a component essentially returns to its original state when the force causing the movement is removed. An elastic movement according to the invention leads to a movement of the second retaining wall and not exclusively to a local deformation without movement of the retaining wall. No webs can be formed between the second retaining wall and the cover. The space between the second retaining wall and the cover is therefore web-free.
[0011] The mobility or elastic mobility of the second retaining wall relative to the cover can result from the first retaining wall and / or the second retaining wall being designed to be movable or elastically movable. "Movable" means that a component or material can be moved by an adult with average strength without significant effort using muscle power.
[0012] It is possible for the entire drainage device to be made of a single material, such as plastic or rubber, and for the mobility to result from the different material thicknesses of the drainage device's components. For example, it is possible for the second retaining wall to be thinner than the first retaining wall, and thus, when a force is applied to the drainage device, the second retaining wall deforms, even though it is made of the same material as the first retaining wall.
[0013] It is also possible that the mobility of the second retaining wall relative to the cover results from the use of different materials. For example, it is possible for one component of the drainage device to be made of rubber and the other components to be made of a plastic, whereby the plastic is less easily elastically deformed than rubber. When a force is applied to the drainage device, the more easily deformable rubber then moves.
[0014] The medium can be a fluid. The medium can be water, where water means a medium that primarily consists of water but may also contain other components such as soap residue and / or dirt particles.
[0015] The liquid reservoir can be, for example, a sink, a shower tray, or a bathtub. The liquid reservoir can also be larger, such as a swimming pool or, in an industrial application, another large basin.
[0016] It is possible that the cover is convex.
[0017] The cover can be designed so that it is convex and curved upwards, counter to the force of gravity. Such a convex design of the cover ensures that a medium located on the cover can flow from the cover by gravity into an area next to the drainage device and from the area next to the drainage device into the drainage device. Such a design of the cover therefore ensures that as little liquid as possible remains in the liquid reservoir when the liquid drains away. In addition, a convex cover is easily accessible for a user and can be advantageously cleaned. Furthermore, the space beneath the cover is optimized and the flow behavior of the liquid in the drainage device is also optimized. The cover can be designed to be essentially rotationally symmetrical. The cover can be essentially linearly symmetrical in plan view. It is also possible for the cover to be elongated.
[0018] It is possible for the cover to be formed as one piece with the first retaining wall. This allows the drainage device to be constructed from a small number of parts and creates absolute airtightness between the cover and the first retaining wall. This makes the drainage device easy to manufacture and assemble. Furthermore, there are fewer mechanical interfaces between the individual components. This reduces the possibility of defects and makes the drainage device robust and durable.
[0019] One-piece means that the cover and the first retaining wall are non-removably connected. The cover and the first retaining wall can, for example, be made of plastic and manufactured using an injection molding process. It is also possible for the cover and the first retaining wall to be made of metal. The first retaining wall can be welded to the cover, creating a single piece. It is also possible for the cover to be made of different materials. For example, the cover can be made of a stable, inexpensive, and easily processable material and coated with an aesthetically pleasing and corrosion-resistant material.
[0020] It is possible for the cover, the first retaining wall, and the second retaining wall to be made of plastic and / or brass and / or chrome steel. It is possible for the cover and / or the first retaining wall and / or the second retaining wall to be made of silicone and / or EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber). It is also possible for the cover, the first retaining wall, and the second retaining wall to be made of different materials. It is also possible for the cover, the first retaining wall, and the second retaining wall to be made of a combination of different materials.
[0021] The first storage volume can be annular. In this case, the first storage volume is essentially shaped like part of a hollow truncated cone or part of a hollow conical cylinder. The second storage wall and the cover can have a vertical distance of less than 5 mm in the neutral installed state. The second storage wall and the cover can have a vertical distance of less than 4 mm in the neutral installed state. The second storage wall and the cover can have a vertical distance of 3 mm in the neutral installed state. It is possible for the cover to be rotationally symmetrical and have a diameter of 8.5 cm or less. The cover can also be rotationally symmetrical and have a diameter of 8 cm or 7 cm.
[0022] It is possible for the first dam to be connected to the second dam by webs. The first dam can be connected to the second dam by at least three webs. The webs can be designed to be elastically deformable.
[0023] The webs can be made of a material as previously described. It is possible for the webs to be made of the same material as the first dam wall and / or the second dam wall. It is possible for the webs to be made of a different material.
[0024] The arrangement of the webs between the first and second retaining walls ensures that fluid can flow through the first retaining volume between the first and second retaining walls without solid particles becoming trapped between the webs or between the webs and the first and second retaining walls. The design of elastically deformable webs makes it possible to manufacture the first and second retaining walls from a solid, stable material and to design the webs to be elastically deformable. The webs can be made of silicone or EPDM, for example.
[0025] It is possible for the first retaining wall, the webs, and the second retaining wall to be formed as a single piece and manufactured by injection molding or multi-component injection molding. In this case, the elastic deformability of at least one of the components results from the component thickness. It is possible for the first retaining wall to be connected to the second retaining wall by at least three webs, optionally four webs or five webs.
[0026] It is possible for the cover to be connected to a lifting device. The lifting device can comprise a positioning device. The positioning device can allow the drainage device to be positioned in a drain pipe. The lifting device can comprise a storage position and a drainage position. In the storage position, the distance between the positioning device and the cover is smaller than in the drainage position.
[0027] In the retention position, the second retention wall is sealingly connected to the drain pipe. In the discharge position, the second retention wall is not sealingly connected to the drain pipe. In the retention position, a medium must therefore pass through the retention volume between the first retention wall and the second retention wall when passing through the drain device in order to flow from the liquid reservoir into the drain pipe. In the discharge position, a medium does not have to pass through the retention volume between the first retention wall and the second retention wall, but can flow directly from the liquid reservoir into the drain pipe. The lifting device is preferably made of brass.
[0028] The lifting device can be moved from the discharge position to the storage position by pressing on the cover. The lifting device can be designed so that it can be over-pressed. In the over-pressed position, the distance between the cover and the positioning device can be smaller than in the storage position.
[0029] In the drainage position, essentially no external forces other than gravity act on the drainage device. In the drainage position, a tensioning device, which may be located in the lifting device, is only slightly tensioned. The tensioning device can be a spring, for example. It is possible that in the storage position, the second storage wall is sealingly connected to the drain pipe. Sealing means that essentially no fluid can penetrate between the second storage wall and the drain pipe. It is possible that in the storage position, when the second storage wall is pressed against a surface of the drain pipe, the second storage wall is slightly deformed and thus tensioned. In the storage position, a spring, which may be located in the lifting device, is more strongly tensioned than in the drainage position.
[0030] The provision of a lifting device ensures that a user of the drain device can easily move the drain device from a storage position to a drainage position or from the drainage position to the storage position. The lifting device can be designed so that it can be clicked into place. The lifting device can then be moved by exerting a vertical force and by lowering it from the drainage position to the storage position. During the lowering process, a compression spring in the lifting device is tensioned. As soon as the lifting device has reached the storage position, the lifting device engages and the drain closure is in the storage position. The lifting device can be unlocked by exerting further vertical force on the lifting device. The lifting device then returns to the drain position under the force of the pre-tensioned compression spring located within the lifting device. The compression spring located within the lifting device is thus tensioned by the vertical force a user exerts on the lifting device when the user moves the lifting device from the drain position to the storage position. When a user unlocks the lifting device by applying a vertical force, the compression spring of the lifting device pushes the second retaining wall against gravity away from the drain pipe into the drain position.
[0031] The over-compressed position is the position in which a spring in the lifting device is most tense. Furthermore, in the over-compressed position, the second baffle is moved relative to the cover. It is possible for the second baffle to touch the cover in the over-compressed position. In the over-compressed position, the first baffle and / or the webs and / or the second baffle are deformed. In the over-compressed position, potential energy is therefore stored in the spring of the lifting device as well as in the first baffle and / or the webs and / or the second baffle. The over-compressed position can only be reached by an external force, for example, by a user pressing on the cover. When the external force is removed, the drain device moves into the storage position if it was previously in the drainage position, or into the drainage position if it was previously in the storage position. The overpressured position is therefore an intermediate position between the storage position and the discharge position. The discharge device only temporarily passes through the overpressured position when an external force acts on the discharge device. When the external force is removed, the discharge device moves to the discharge position or the storage position due to the potential energy of its components.
[0032] It is possible that in the over-pressed position of the lifting device the second retaining wall will hit the cover.
[0033] By stopping the second retaining wall against the cover in the over-pressed position, it is ensured that a user receives a direct haptic signal in the over-pressed position and can thus haptically detect when the lifting device is in the over-pressed position. This ensures that a user can easily determine when the drain device is in the over-pressed position. The user can then reduce the force exerted on the drain device, and the drain device moves into the discharge position or the storage position.
[0034] It is possible for the positioning device to comprise at least three fastening wings, wherein the fastening wings are curved.
[0035] The design of fastening wings allows the drainage device to be advantageously inserted into a drain pipe. When the drainage device is inserted into a drain pipe, the fastening wings are slightly elastically deformed. The fastening wings then exert a force on the inside of the drain pipe when the drainage device is located in the drain pipe. The drainage device is then held in the drain pipe by the fastening wings in a force-fitting manner. The force-fitting connection between the drainage device and the drain pipe by the fastening wings is designed in such a way that the drainage device does not float out of the drain pipe to the surface of a fluid due to hydrostatic buoyancy when the drainage device is surrounded by a fluid in the liquid reservoir. However, the force-locking connection of the drain device to the drain pipe via the mounting wings is designed in such a way that an adult user of average build and strength can remove the drain device without great effort and without tools. The mounting wings can be made of plastic or silicone, for example. The radius of the bend of the mounting wings preferably decreases from the inside to the outside, with the smallest radius at the end of the wings. This allows for optimal force distribution.
[0036] It is possible that the first retaining wall is at least partially elastically deformable.
[0037] The at least partially elastic deformability of the first retaining wall ensures that the elastic deformability of the drainage device is enabled by multiple components. This allows the elastic deformation to be distributed across multiple components, reducing wear and fatigue of the individual components.
[0038] The second retaining wall may comprise a sealing surface which is designed such that in a retaining position a seal can be achieved between the drain pipe and the second retaining wall.
[0039] Such a sealing surface ensures that in the storage position a seal is achieved between the drain pipe and the second storage wall and thus a fluid can be stored.
[0040] The object of the invention is further achieved by a drainage system comprising a liquid reservoir, a drain pipe, and a drainage device as described above. In a storage position and in a drainage position, a distance between the first storage wall and the drain pipe is designed such that a liquid can flow into the first storage volume. Preferably, the drainage system further comprises a siphon downstream of the drain pipe.
[0041] This type of drainage system design allows a liquid to flow into the first storage volume in both the drain and storage positions. This ensures that the liquid can drain smoothly in the drain position, while the medium can only be stored up to a certain height in the storage position. This ensures the overflow protection of the drainage system.
[0042] The positioning device can be positioned in the drainpipe. The positioning device can be secured with a force-lock to prevent it from floating out of the drainpipe.
[0043] Such a force-locking connection has essentially the same advantages as a force-locking connection between a drainage device and a drain pipe as previously described.
[0044] In the storage position, a substantially liquid-tight connection between the sealing surface of the second storage wall and the drain pipe can be achieved.
[0045] Such a connection has essentially the same advantages as previously described.
[0046] In the drain position, the distance between the first retaining wall and the liquid reservoir can be at least as large as the distance between the second retaining wall and the cover.
[0047] Such a distance ensures that the lifting device can be overridden by a user and that a user can thus move the drainage system from the drainage position to the storage position or from the storage position to the drainage position.
[0048] A second storage volume can be formed in the drain siphon. The second storage volume can have a height that corresponds to the water seal height of the drain siphon. The first storage volume can be 1 to 1.15 times as large as the second storage volume. The first storage volume can be 1 to 1.1 times as large as the second storage volume. The first storage volume can also be 1 to 1.05 times as large as the second storage volume. It is possible for the first storage volume to be 1.125 times as large as the second storage volume.
[0049] If the first storage volume is greater than 1,125 times the size of the second storage volume, a gas mixture from the first storage volume is forced through the drain siphon into the further sewer system, automatically reducing the first storage volume. This is therefore the technical and physical limit up to which the system can operate. If this limit is exceeded due to the design, the first storage volume is filled with the medium until the limit is automatically maintained again.
[0050] Such a system ensures the dedicated drainage of standing water from the liquid reservoir. The medium in the drain siphon is pushed downstream along the seal water level by the medium in the liquid reservoir and in the first retention volume of the drain closure. This ensures that when the liquid reservoir is filled with a medium, the medium in the first retention volume rises more slowly than the medium in the liquid reservoir. This allows for a greater retention height in the liquid reservoir.
[0051] The first storage volume between the first storage wall and the second storage wall is slightly larger than the second storage volume in the siphon.
[0052] The first and second storage volumes are proportional to the storage height in the fluid reservoir. If the first and second storage volumes are increased, the storage height in the fluid reservoir also increases.
[0053] If the second storage volume is smaller than the first storage volume, the gas mixture is forced out of the drain pipe into the further sewer system, thereby reducing the effective first storage volume in the system. The first storage volume is preferably 3% to 15% larger than the second storage volume.
[0054] An overflow section is formed in an area between the overflow edge of the second retaining wall and the cover. By placing a drain siphon downstream of the drainage system, an odor seal is ensured. Due to the suction created by sufficient water pressure above the drain seal during the emptying of the reservoir, the siphon is also quickly emptied, creating suction in turn. This quickly and thoroughly drains the entire system until the pressure equalizes and a water column closes the siphon again.
[0055] The drain siphon can be a tubular siphon or a bottle siphon, for example. Other designs are also conceivable.
[0056] It is possible for a siphon to be arranged downstream of the drain closure, said siphon comprising a first inlet opening, a second inlet opening, a flow region, a diversion section and a flow pipe. The second inlet opening is located downstream of the first inlet opening. The first inlet opening can be larger in cross-section than the second inlet opening. The flow region connects the first inlet opening and the second inlet opening. The flow region is designed so that water can flow through it. The diversion section is located downstream of the second inlet opening and is curved. In cross-section, the diversion section has an outer wall with an outer radius and an inner edge with an inner radius, wherein the outer radius is larger than the inner radius. The flow pipe is located downstream of the diversion section. The flow region is at least partially, preferably completely, conical in shape. The flow area can taper in cross-section in the flow direction of the medium.
[0057] A streamlined cross-section allows the fluid to flow downstream, accelerating it in the process. This enhances the suction effect of the siphoning principle, allowing the fluid in the reservoir to drain quickly through the drain cap and siphon.
[0058] It is also possible that, alternatively or in addition to the previously described siphon, a siphon is arranged downstream of the drain closure, which siphon comprises a first inlet opening, a second inlet opening, a flow region, a deflection section, and a flow pipe. The second inlet opening is located downstream of the first inlet opening. The first inlet opening can be larger in cross-section than the second inlet opening. The flow region connects the first inlet opening and the second inlet opening. The flow region is designed so that water can flow through it. The deflection section is located downstream of the second inlet opening and is curved. In cross-section, the deflection section has an outer wall with an outer radius and an inner edge with an inner radius, wherein the outer radius is larger than the inner radius. The flow pipe is located downstream of the deflection section. In the drain, the second inlet opening is formed eccentrically in the deflection section so that in cross-section it is located closer to the outer wall than to the inner wall.
[0059] Such an eccentric arrangement of the inlet opening closer to the outer wall in the diverter section ensures that the medium flows along the outer wall at a high velocity. This creates additional suction in the siphon and enhances the suction effect of the siphoning principle of the drain closure.
[0060] In the previously described siphon, the volume in the conical section is very small. This allows the drain closure to be constructed extremely compactly, since the volume in the conical inlet is crucial for the design of the first retention volume. Furthermore, the acceleration of the water in the conical section achieves a high flow velocity, which also leads to the required discharge volumes in the drain closure.
[0061] The invention is further achieved by a method for converting a drainage system, as described above, from a drainage position to a retention position. The drainage device is positioned in a drainage pipe such that the positioning device is arranged in the drainage pipe, and pressing on the cover overrides the lifting device, while the second retention wall is elastically moved toward the cover. The lifting device then extends less in the retention position, so that the sealing surface of the second retention wall seals against the drainage pipe, while fluid can flow from the fluid reservoir beneath the first retention wall.
[0062] Such a method has essentially the same advantages as a device as previously described.
[0063] In this method, further pressure can enable a change from the retention position to the drainage position. The lifting device can be shortened by over-pressing and then returned to the extended position. This allows the sealing surface of the second retention wall to be spaced from the drain pipe again in the drainage position, allowing fluid to drain away. During the over-pressing, the second retention wall is moved elastically relative to the cover.
[0064] Such a process step has essentially the same advantages as a device as previously described.
[0065] The invention is further achieved by a drain closure for a liquid reservoir. The drain closure comprises a positioning device. The positioning device comprises at least three curved positioning arms. The positioning arms enable a force-fitting fastening of the drain closure.
[0066] The curved shape of the positioning arms ensures that the force-locking fastening of the drain closure can be made and released easily and reliably. Furthermore, the curved shape ensures that the force-locking connection can be established without excessive wear on the positioning arms.
[0067] The invention is explained in more detail in the following figures. They show: Figure 1: A section through a drainage system in the drainage position; Figure 2: A view of a drainage system in the drainage position; Figure 3: A view of a drainage device in the drainage position; Figure 4: A section through a drainage system in the storage position; Figure 5: A view of a drainage system in the storage position; Figure 6: A view of a drainage device in the storage position; Figure 7: A section through a drainage system in the over-pressurized position; Figure 8: A view of a drainage system in the over-pressurized position; Figure 9: A view of a drainage device in the over-pressurized position; Figure 10: A bottom view of a drainage device with a cover with a diameter of 8 cm; Figure 11: A side view of a drainage device with a cover with a diameter of 8 cm; Figure 12: A bottom view of a drainage device with a cover with a diameter of 8 cm; Figure 13: A view of a drainage device with a cover with a diameter of 8 cm;Figure 14A bottom view of a drain device with an apron; Figure 15A side view of a drain device with an apron; Figure 16A bottom view of a drain device with an apron; Figure 17A view of a drain device with an apron; Figure 18A bottom view of a drain device with a cover with a diameter of 7 cm; Figure 19A side view of a drain device with a cover with a diameter of 7 cm; Figure 20A bottom view of a drain device with a cover with a diameter of 7 cm; Figure 21A view of a drain device with a cover with a diameter of 7 cm; Figure 22A bottom view of a drain closure with three positioning arms; Figure 23A side view of a drain closure with three positioning arms; Figure 24A bottom view of a drain closure with three positioning arms. ;
[0068] The Figure 1shows a section through a drainage system 29 in the drainage position. The drainage system comprises a drainage device 1 and a drain pipe 2. The drain pipe 2 has a ribbed outer surface 27 and a collar 16. The drainage device 1 is inserted into the drain pipe 2 by means of the positioning device 10. The positioning device 10 comprises five fastening wings 12. With the five fastening wings 12, the drainage device 1 is force-fitted into the drain pipe 2 by the positioning device 10. The fastening wings 12 are slightly deformed by the drain pipe 2 and exert a substantially radial force on the drain pipe 2. The drainage device 1 has a cover 3, a first retaining wall 4 and a second retaining wall 5. The first retaining volume 7 is formed between the first retaining wall 4 and the second retaining wall 5. The first retaining wall 4 and the second retaining wall 5 are connected by three webs 8.When the drainage device 1 is installed, the second baffle 5 is vertically spaced from the cover 3 by the baffle distance 6. The baffle distance 6 is 4 mm. The first baffle 4 is spaced from the drain pipe 2 by the distance 15. The distance 15 is 7 mm. The first baffle 4 has a first overflow edge 17. The second baffle 5 has a second overflow edge 18. The overflow section 19 is formed between the second overflow edge 18 and the cover 3. The second overflow edge 18 is circular and has a diameter 20 of 22 mm. The cover 3 is rotationally symmetrical and has a diameter 21. The diameter 21 is 7 cm. The first overflow edge 17 is circular and has an inner diameter 22 of 58 mm. The drainage device 1 has a lifting device 9. The lifting device 9 is in the . Figure 1in the drain position. In the drain position, the positioning device 10 and the cover 3 have a distance 11 of 34 mm. The sealing surface 13 of the drain device 1 is spaced from the inner wall 14 of the drain pipe 2. Thus, a liquid can flow between the sealing surface 13 and the inner wall 14 in the direction of the drain pipe 2.
[0069] The Figure 2 shows a view of a drainage system 29. The drainage system 29 is the drainage system 29 from the Figure 1The drainage system 29 comprises a drainage device 1 and a drain pipe 2. The drain pipe 2 has a ribbed outer surface 27 as well as a collar 16 and an inner wall 14. The inner wall 14 of the drain pipe 2 is spaced from the first overflow edge 17 of the drainage device 1. The drainage device 1 is force-fitted into the drain pipe 2 by means of the positioning device 10. The drainage device 1 has a cover 3 and a first retaining wall 4.
[0070] The Figure 3 shows a view of a drainage device 1. The drainage device 1 is a drainage device 1 as shown in the Figure 1 and 2 as part of the drainage system 29. The drainage device 1 in the Figure 3has a cover 3 and a first retaining wall 4. Both the cover 3 and the first retaining wall 4 are rotationally symmetrical. In addition, the drainage device 1 has a first overflow edge 17. The first overflow edge 17 is also rotationally symmetrical. The drainage device 1 has a lifting device 9. The lifting device 9 is located as shown in the Figure 1 and 2 in the discharge position. The discharge device 1 has a positioning device 10. The positioning device 10 comprises five fastening wings 12. The fastening wings 12 are each curved and protrude radially from the lifting device 9.
[0071] The Figure 4 shows a drainage system 29 analogous to the drainage system 29 from the Figure 1 . Unlike in the Figure 1 is the drainage system 29 in the Figure 4in the storage position. The lifting device 9 is thus in the storage position. In the storage position, the sealing surface 13 of the drainage device 1 touches the inner wall 14 of the drain pipe 2. This creates a substantially liquid-tight connection between the sealing surface 13 of the drainage device 1 and the inner wall 14 of the drain pipe 2. A fluid which passes from the environment through the drainage device 1 into the drain pipe 2 must therefore pass through the first storage volume 7 between the first storage wall 4 and the second storage wall 5. In the storage position, the distance 15 between the first storage wall 4 and the drain pipe 2 is smaller than in the drainage position, as shown in the Figure 1 The distance 15 between the first retaining wall 4 and the drain pipe 2 is Figure 4 2mm. In addition, in the storage position, the distance 11 between the positioning device 10 and the cover 3 is smaller than the corresponding distance 11 in the Figure 1 . In the Figure 4 The distance 11 is 29 mm. The distance 6 between the retaining wall and the discharge position is identical to the distance 6 between the retaining wall and the discharge position. In the storage position, a spring (not shown) in the lifting device 9 is under a higher tension than in the discharge position as shown in the Figure 1 is shown.
