The aerosol generation substrate (10) is columnar, and has a heating element insertion-connection hole (10d) inside, wherein the heating element insertion-connection hole (10d) extends in a lengthwise direction of the aerosol generation substrate (10), and penetrates at least one end of the aerosol generation substrate (10) in the lengthwise direction.
