Description

Description Title of the invention: Pre-frame device for window, door or similar type joinery.

[0001] [The present invention relates to a pre-frame device for window, door or similar type joinery, intended for constructions with internal insulation.

[0002] The present invention relates to the field of building joinery and relates to a pre-frame device of particular interest in the case of a construction with insulation from the inside.

[0003] There are already different types of pre-frame systems, some of which are applicable to new constructions, the majority being intended for renovation.

[0004] Metal pre-frames are particularly well known and have been used for a long time in what can be described as economical constructions. Such pre-frames define the framing of openings corresponding to doors or windows in these constructions. They can be equipped with hinges, both on the external side, for hanging shutters, and on the internal side to receive the door or window leaf(s). Such pre-frames create thermal bridges between the interior and exterior and no longer meet current insulation requirements.

[0005] Pre-frames are also known that are designed to be installed on the outside of door or window frames, particularly in the case of external insulation and / or renovation. In this case, these pre-frames form a covering for these frames and usually include means for attaching hinged shutters. Indeed, the significant thickness of external insulation makes it particularly difficult to fix such hinged shutters.

[0006] It is also known as internal joinery cladding pre-frames in the case of renovation. In short, these pre-frames cover the fixed frame of the existing joinery, while being designed to accommodate, by simple interlocking, renovation joinery.

[0007] In the case of a new construction with internal insulation, it should be remembered that it is usual, once the masonry is finished, to directly affix the joinery on the internal side of this masonry, at the level of the openings corresponding to doors or windows.

[0008] The installation of these joinery pieces is a relatively delicate operation given that they must be suspended in front of these openings in a perfectly plumb and square manner, most often using simple fixing brackets.

[0009] Once installed, these joinery pieces are largely exposed to the attacks they may undergo during the various future works, namely risks of scratches, dust infiltration, shock, projection of coating, paint, etc. Very often, it is necessary to replace one or other damaged element of these joinery pieces at the end of the work, representing a significant additional cost.

[0010] While it is possible to remove the openings of these joinery frames to carry out the various works, this leaves the building open to the wind and rain and it is impossible to imagine removing the leaves in the morning before starting work and replacing them in the evening before leaving the site. The existing solutions for protecting these joinery frames cannot fully provide satisfaction. They are often too fragile to withstand the entire duration of the work and quickly deteriorate, so they do not address the problem posed.

[0011] Furthermore, these joinery frames delimit the various coverings that cover the exterior and interior of the building wall; coatings, interior insulating facing, etc., and it is not possible to consider installing these joinery frames at the end of the work, not to mention that such a solution would, as previously, lead to leaving the building open to the elements or even to the risk of vandalism or even theft of materials.

[0012] Pre-frame systems for new construction with interior insulation are known. They are made from folded sheet metal angles that are welded together in the factory or assembled on site.

[0013] While these known pre-frame devices allow for the demarcation of plaster and other insulating coating applications in relation to openings inside which joinery can be installed, they are the source of various disadvantages. In particular, they do not provide a solution to the problem of thermal conduction between the interior and the exterior. In addition, they are difficult to temporarily close an opening while waiting for the work to be completed and the joinery to be installed. These pre-frame devices also cannot accommodate accessories such as a simple protective barrier.

[0014] Furthermore, document DE 200 12 102 U1 discloses a window sill that extends outwards and describes a solution applicable to buildings with external insulation, not internal insulation.

[0015] Furthermore, document DE 20 2017 1580 discloses a pre-frame device for joinery, intended for construction with internal insulating cladding. This pre-frame consists, here, of square elements comprising two wings formed by two slats made of pressure-resistant plastic material. One of these slats is attached perpendicularly to the edge of the other slat, which is fixed on the inside of the wall at the periphery of a window opening made in this wall.

[0016] It is also known from the document DE 20 2014 105293 U1 which also describes a technical solution for external insulation in accordance with the orientation of the rebate of the fixed frame. The insulation system is clipped onto right-angled profiles, one wing of which is attached to a wall, on the periphery of an opening corresponding to a door or window.

[0017] The objective of the present invention is, therefore, to propose a pre-frame device which is capable of addressing all the drawbacks of currently existing solutions.

[0018] Thus, as part of an inventive approach, the Applicant imagined that this pre-frame device results from an assembly of profiles in the form of an angle iron, comprising a fixing wing and a framing wing, the latter having the particularity of being provided with first fixing means intended to cooperate with complementary fixing means of at least one accessory closing and / or protection part and / or an insulating cladding profile.

[0019] According to the invention: - the framing wing is designed in the form of a rectangular tubular profile whose width is defined according to the thickness of the insulating facing and comprising an internal wall, an external wall, an end side to which the fixing wing is made integral, and an end side opposite the end side; - the fixing wing of a profile extends in a plane relative to which the end side of the profile corresponding to the framing wing defines a step; - the frame wing is provided with first fixing means intended to cooperate with complementary fixing means of at least one accessory closing and / or protection and / or peripheral part and / or an insulating covering profile; - said first fixing means take the form of at least one T-shaped groove extending longitudinally at least at the level of the internal and / or external wall and / or the end side of the frame wing.

[0020] According to another feature of the invention, the pre-frame device comprises an insulating covering profile extending along the internal wall of the framing wings of the profiles and comprising a width at least equal to the depth of said pre-frame device.

[0021] According to another specific feature of the invention, the pre-frame device comprises assembly brackets comprising at least two wings each engaging in a fitted manner in one end of a tubular profile defining a framing wing.

[0022] According to yet another feature, the external wall of the frame wings comprises first fixing means in the form of at least one T-groove cooperating with complementary fixing means for accessory parts, such as adjustable support feet and / or fixing brackets or consoles.

[0023] The advantages of the present invention consist in that this pre-frame device is of simple design, capable of being assembled in the factory or on site, whose rigidity facilitates installation and makes it possible to guarantee, at the end of the work, the plumb and square reception of a joinery. In place of this joinery, this pre-frame device can easily accommodate an opaque or translucent closing panel, or even a protective barrier.

[0024] This advantage arises from the first fixing means which equip the profiles of the pre-frame device, these first fixing means being further provided to cooperate with complementary fixing means of insulating cladding profiles avoiding any thermal bridge.

[0025] Other features of the present invention will appear during the description which follows relating to exemplary embodiments given for informational and non-limiting purposes.

[0026] Understanding of this description will be facilitated by referring to the figures in the appendix in which:

[0031] [Fig.5] is a representation of the section of one of the profiles making up the pre-frame device provided with the insulating cladding profile

[0032] [Fig.6] illustrates in different views an assembly bracket intended to connect two profiles of the pre-frame device;

[0033] [Fig.7] is a schematic and vertical sectional representation of a pre-frame device in a particular embodiment for a application to a joinery above which the installation of an independent roller shutter box is planned;

[0034] [Fig.8] is a schematic representation, seen from above, of an assembly bracket for an embodiment corresponding to Figure 7.

[0035] As shown in the attached Figure 1 and in the following Figures 2 to 8, the invention relates to a pre-frame device 1 intended to be fixed on the internal side 2 of a building wall 3, in front of an opening 4 corresponding to a door, window or the like.

[0036] According to the invention, this pre-frame device 1 consists of an assembly of profiles 5 in the form of an angle iron, comprising a fixing wing 6 extending perpendicularly relative to a framing wing 7. As visible in figure 1, once the profiles 5 are assembled and forming the pre-frame device 1, their respective fixing wings 6 extend in the same plane P to be able to be fixed in surface mounting on the internal side 2 of the wall 3.

[0037] The framing wings 7 of these profiles 5 together define a frame 8 shown exclusively as an example of parallelepiped shape in Figure 1. Indeed, it can take many other shapes in line with the joinery that the pre-frame device 1 is intended to accommodate. In particular, it can have a geometric shape with straight or non-straight sides or even an oblong or round shape, just as, in a configuration corresponding to Figure 1, the profile 5 defining the upper crosspiece 9 of the pre-frame device 1 can be curved so as to be able to receive a Romanesque window, for example.

[0038] According to the invention, the framing wing 7 of a profile 5 comprises first fixing means 10 provided to cooperate with complementary fixing means 11 which comprise at least one closure accessory part 12 and / or protection 13 and / or peripheral accessory parts 45 and / or an insulating covering profile 14.

[0039] Preferably, the framing wing 7 is designed in the form of a rectangular tubular profile whose width 15 is advantageously defined as a function of the thickness 16 of the insulating facing 17 which is used to cover the interior the wall 3. Thus, several profiles 5 can be offered on the market, distinguished through this width 15 of the framing wing 7, this in relation to the majority of the thicknesses of existing insulating facing.

[0040] As for the thickness 18 of this framing wing 7, it is chosen according to the inertia to the desired deformation. In this regard, at least one of the internal 19 and external 20 walls of the pre-frame device 1 of this framing wing 7 may comprise one or more reinforcing grooves 21 which improve its resistance to deformation.

[0041] According to yet another feature of the invention, the fixing wing 6 of a profile 5 extends in a plane P with respect to which the end side 22 of the profile corresponding to the framing wing 7 defines a step 23. In short, as visible in this case in Figure 4, when the pre-frame device 1 is applied against a wall 3, the step 23 has the consequence of preserving, between this end side 22 of the framing wing 7 and the wall 3, a gap 24 for the interposition of a sealing joint 25, for example in the form of a strip of compressible material.

[0042] As for the first fixing means 10, these advantageously take the form of at least one T-shaped groove 26 extending longitudinally at least at the level of the internal wall 19 and / or the external wall 20 and / or the end side of the framing wing 7, the end side 27 opposite that 22 cooperating with the fixing wing 6. As appears in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, such a T-shaped groove 26 is preferably provided along the end side 27 of this framing wing 7.

[0043] This particular configuration of these first fixing means 10 has the advantage that any accessory can be fixed at any location along the length of a framing wing 7 of a profile 5. These first fixing means 10 are also easy to design using a process for extruding the profiles 5.

[0044] In this regard, these profiles 5 are preferably made of metal, in particular extruded aluminum which has the advantage of being compatible with the majority of materials in which joinery can be designed.

[0045] The complementary fixing means 11 may take different embodiments. Thus, they may substantially take the form of one or more clamps 28 designed to be engaged in such a T-groove 26 in a known manner, whether from one end of the latter or by fitting in a direction perpendicular to this T-groove 26.

[0046] Such a clamp 28, in its simplest form, may be provided with a tapped hole for receiving a fixing screw or, conversely, a threaded rod onto which a nut may be screwed. Such a clamp may also be directly associated with an accessory part 12; 13; P intended to be attached to or in the pre-frame device 1.

[0047] By means of these clamps 28, intermediate fixing pieces 29 can also be attached to which these accessory pieces 12; 13 can be secured. In an exemplary embodiment visible in Figures 2 and 3, these intermediate fixing pieces 29 are shown in the form of Z-shaped tabs essentially comprising two parallel wings 29a and 29b extending in opposite directions on either side of an intermediate wing 29c. One 29a of the parallel wings cooperates by means of a clamp 28 with the T-shaped groove 26, while the other wing 29b serves as a fixing support for an accessory piece 12; 13. Obviously, such intermediate fixing pieces 29 can take many other forms of embodiment.

[0048] According to the invention, the pre-frame device 1 comprises an insulating covering profile 30 extending along the internal wall 20 of the framing wings 7 of the profiles 5 making up this pre-frame device 1. This insulating covering profile 30 has a width 31 at least equal to the depth 32 of said pre-frame device 1. Thus, this insulating covering profile 30 is designed to cover, at the same time, the entire width 15 of the internal wall 20 of a framing wing 7 and the gap 24 defined through the recess 23 on the end side 22 of the framing wing 7 relative to the fixing wing 6.

[0049] Advantageously, this insulating cladding profile 30 comprises, along a longitudinal edge 33, a covering wing 34 extending in a perpendicular plane and giving it a corner shape. This covering wing 34 is defined to cover the end side 27 of the framing wing 7, while being of length 35 greater than the thickness 18 of this framing wing 7. It thus makes it possible to create a thermal break with respect to this end side 27, while being able to cover the joint plane 37 between the framing wing 7 and the insulating facing 17.

[0050] This insulating cladding profile 30 comprises, on its side 38 intended to be applied to the frame wing 7, complementary fixing means 11 designed to cooperate with the first fixing means 10.

[0051] According to an advantageous embodiment, these complementary fixing means 11 are designed to cooperate by clipping with a T-shaped groove equipping the framing wing 7 as first fixing means 10.

[0052] In the particular configuration of the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the T-shaped groove 26 extending from the end side 27 of the framing wing 7, the covering wing 34 of the insulating cladding profile 30 comprises on its side 38 a tongue and / or T-shaped hooking lugs 39 designed to engage by snap-fastening and forming a perpendicular step in said T-shaped groove 26.

[0053] On this side 38 of this insulating covering profile 30, ribs 40 suitable for the reinforcing grooves 21 included in the internal wall 19 of the frame wing 7 may also be provided, promoting the anchoring on the latter of the insulating covering profile 30.

[0054] The pre-frame device 1 also comprises assembly brackets 41 for connecting the profiles 5 to each other. Such assembly brackets 41 comprise at least two wings 41 a, 41 b, each engaging in a fitted manner in one end of a tubular profile defining a framing wing 7. In this regard, each of these wings 41 a, 41 b has a section which is determined to ensure its immobilization in this tubular profile corresponding to a framing wing 7, this following a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the latter. This adjustment may be, depending on the case, tight, for example in the case of assembly of the pre-frame device 1 in the factory, or with a functional clearance facilitating the assembly of this pre-frame device 1 on site before installation on the wall 3 of a construction. In the latter case, in particular, clamping and / or fixing means are provided to immobilize, after fitting, the wings 41a and 41b of a bracket 41 in each of the ends of the assembled profiles 5.

[0055] These assembly brackets 41 are advantageously made of metal, for example, by folding and stamping a steel sheet. They will preferably be made of aluminum by machining or molding.

[0056] As mentioned previously, thanks to the first fixing means 10 the pre-frame device 1 is able to receive accessory parts 12: 13; P by means of complementary fixing means 11, in particular before the installation of the joinery that it is intended to accommodate. Such accessory parts 12; 13; P can fulfill a function of closing and / or protecting the opening delimited by this pre-frame device 1, or even of supporting or fixing the latter.

[0057] Thus, these accessory parts 13 can take the form of rails 42 extending across the pre-frame device 1 to prevent against the risk of falling. Such a rail 42 is capable of being fixed, at its ends, on frame wings 7 by means of intermediate fixing parts 29 and clamps 28 in cooperation with the T-grooves 26 defining the first fixing means 10.

[0058] These accessory parts 12 can also take the form of panels 43, whether made of wood or transparent or translucent synthetic material, partially or totally closing the opening delimited by the pre-frame device 1. Such panels 43 cooperate, just like a rail 42, with the first fixing means 10 equipping this pre-frame device 1, through complementary fixing means 11 composed of intermediate fixing parts 29 and clamps 28.

[0059] Figure 2 illustrates, by way of example, a pre-frame device 1 accommodating both rails 42 and closing panels 43.

[0060] Figure 4 represents an end-of-construction situation, the pre-frame device 1 being applied to the internal side 2 of the wall 3 with the interposition of the joint 25 in the gap 24. On this internal side 2 of the wall 3 has been subsequently applied an insulating facing 17. On the internal wall 19 of the frame wings 7 of the profiles 5 have been placed the insulating cladding profiles 30 whose covering wings 34 have extended in front of the end sides 27 of these frame wings 7 by covering the joint plane 37 with the insulating facing 17. In this example of implementation, the pre-frame device 1 is illustrated, equipped, in its lower part, with at least one adjustable support foot 45 as an example of a peripheral accessory part.

[0061] Just like the end side 27, the external wall 20 of the framing wings 7 comprises first fixing means 10 in the form of at least one T-shaped groove 26 with which cooperate complementary fixing means 11 in the form of at least one T-shaped tab that comprises an adjustable support foot 45. In the same way, at the level of this or these T-shaped grooves 26 forming the first fixing means 10 can be fixed, as peripheral accessory parts, fixing brackets or consoles contributing, with the fixing wings 6, to securing the pre-frame device 1 to the wall 3.

[0062] This same figure 4 represents a joinery M, in this case, a window, installed in the pre-frame device 1. In this regard, this joinery M is capable of being secured by screwing directly to the pre-frame device 1, more particularly on the framing wings 7 of the profiles 5. The fixed frame 44 of the joinery M comes, here, to cover the covering wings 34 of the insulating cladding profiles 30 on the internal side of the dwelling so as to make the pre-frame device 1 completely invisible.

[0063] If such a pre-frame device 1 can receive, in a configuration similar to that illustrated in figure 4, a window block type joinery M, comprising a window on the upper crosspiece of the fixed frame of which rests, directly, a roller shutter box, it has been represented in the figure 7 a pre-frame device 1 adapted to a configuration in which the roller shutter box C is independent of the joinery M.

[0064] More particularly, in this configuration, one 5a of the profiles 5 making up the pre-frame device 1 is designed to delimit a slot F relative to the wall 3 against which this pre-frame device 1 is attached for the passage of the apron of this roller shutter, so as to allow it to extend in front of the joinery M. In a preferred embodiment, this profile 5a essentially comprises a frame wing 7a of width 15a substantially equal to the width 15 of the frame wings 7 of the profiles 5 reduced by the width of the slot F.

[0065] In the ends of such a profile 5a there is well engaged a wing 41b of an assembly bracket 41 adjusted to the internal section of this profile 5a and the other wing 41a of which is designed with a section adapted to the tubular profile corresponding to a framing wing 7 of a profile 5.

[0066] The advantages arising from this pre-frame device 1 according to the invention consist in that it offers an efficient alternative solution to the installation of joinery at the start of the construction site, thereby avoiding any risk of deterioration of the latter. Thus, this pre-frame device 1 makes it easy to close the construction during this construction site and to accurately delimit the opening for the reception of joinery by serving as a delimitation marker for the coatings and other insulating facing. This pre-frame device 1 also meets the constraints of thermal insulation while considerably facilitating the installation and fixing of the joinery. I
