Abstract
Description
[0001] Guide device and furniture
[0002] The present invention relates to a guide device for a sliding door or a folding sliding door, with a guide rail on which guide tracks for guide elements are formed, and a running part on which at least two guide elements are provided, which are each guided on a guide track on opposite sides of the guide rail, and a piece of furniture.
[0003] EP 3 832 058 A1 discloses a guide device for a sliding door, in which two rollers are provided on a running part, which can be moved along a guide rail on tracks. The running part is made of a bent metal sheet, and one roller is held on an arm that is bendable depending on the position of the guide rail. This allows the position of the two rollers to be adjusted by bending the arm. Due to tolerances in the manufacturing of the guide rail, play may occur between the rollers and the guide rail in certain sections, or stiff movement may occur due to jamming of the guide rail.
[0004] US Pat. No. 11,879,283 B2 discloses a carriage for a sliding door that can be moved along a guide rail. The carriage can be pivoted relative to the guide rail about an axis parallel to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail.
[0005] EP 2 913 467 A1 discloses a carriage for a sliding door, which has two rollers that engage in a groove-shaped receptacle of a guide rail. The rollers are supported on opposite groove walls of the guide rail, with one of the rollers being spring-mounted on a cantilever. A similar design is also shown in JP 2000129996 A.
[0006] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a guide device for a sliding door or a folding sliding door which enables improved guidance.
[0007] This object is achieved with a guide device having the features of claim 1. The guide device according to the invention for a sliding door or a folding sliding door comprises a guide rail on which guide tracks for guide elements are formed, and a running part on which at least two guide elements are provided, which are guided on opposite sides of the guide rail on a guide track, wherein at least one guide element is resiliently mounted in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. By means of such resilient mounting, tolerances on the guide rail can be compensated, for example if the guide rail is curved or has differences in thickness, in particular on a web with guide tracks on opposite sides, so that the resilient mounting of the guide element ensures that the guide element rests on the guide track in all areas of the guide rail.This allows flexible adaptation to the shape of the guide rail and ensures that excessive clamping forces do not occur when the running part is moved along the guide rail.
[0008] Preferably, the at least one guide element rests against the guide rail with a preload. The preload provided by the spring-loaded mounting can be provided within a predetermined range, ensuring, on the one hand, that the guide element rests against the guide rail for play-free operation, and, on the other hand, that the preload ensures smooth guidance of the running part.
[0009] The at least one guide element is preferably held as an extension of an axis, for example a pin or a bolt, which is spring-mounted on a holder. The spring-loaded design of the guide can thus be achieved not only by an elastic design of the guide element, but also by a spring-loaded mounting of the axis or the guide element. The axis is mounted at two bearing points, in a fixed bearing, preferably arranged at the bottom, which secures the axis against axial and radial displacement, and a loose bearing, preferably arranged at the top, formed by the spring-loaded holder, which enables movement of the axis in the radial direction. The distance between the holder and the guide element can be at least 10 mm, in particular between 15 mm and 50 mm.This allows the spring-loaded bearing to utilize the leverage, with the axle being held on the mount and the guide element being guided at a distance from it, so that in addition to the radial or horizontal deflection or displacement of the roller axle, tilting of the roller axle can also be achieved. A spring element is preferably arranged on the mount for supporting the axle for the at least one guide element, which spring element preloads the axle in order to press the guide element against the guide rail. The spring element can optionally be formed integrally with a housing of the running part, so that the guide device can be manufactured with few components. Alternatively, a separate energy accumulator can be mounted on the running part. Furthermore, it is also possible to form two diametrically opposed spring elements on the mount, which enables the axle to deflect or tilt in two directions.
[0010] For particularly smooth guidance, each guide element comprises a rotatably mounted roller that can roll along a guide track of the guide rail. The roller can be mounted on the axis with a vertical axis of rotation, optionally also on a roller bearing. Preferably, all guide elements are provided with a rotatable roller; alternatively, one or more of the guide elements can be designed as sliding elements that can be moved along the guide track. Optionally, all guide elements can also be designed as sliding elements.
[0011] In a preferred embodiment, the spring travel of the at least one guide element perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail is between 0.5 mm and 5 mm, in particular 1 mm and 4 mm. This ensures sufficient spring support for the guide.
[0012] The running part preferably comprises four guide elements, with two guide elements provided on each side of the guide rail. This allows the running part to be secured against twisting during a travel movement.
[0013] For precise guidance, the running part preferably has two fixed guide elements on one side of the guide rails, and two spring-loaded guide elements on the opposite side of the guide rail. The fixed guide elements are mounted so that they cannot move in a direction perpendicular to the guide rail and ensure precise positioning of the running part. Only the guide elements arranged on the opposite side of the guide rail are spring-loaded in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. The fixed guide elements can be held on the running part by an axis, with the axis being held on the running part on opposite sides of the guide element. This prevents movements of the guide element perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, even under higher forces.
[0014] When arranging multiple guide elements on one side of the guide rail, preferably at least two guide elements are offset in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail relative to a guide element on the opposite side. This results in a rotation-proof arrangement of the running part.
[0015] In a piece of furniture with a furniture body and a sliding door or a folding sliding door, a guide device according to the invention is used to hold the sliding door or folding sliding door movable on the furniture body. Preferably, the guide rail is fixed to a floor or top panel of the furniture body. The sliding door can thus be securely guided along the furniture body via the runner.
[0016] The invention will be explained in more detail below using several exemplary embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show:
[0017] Figure 1 is a perspective view of an inventive
[0018] Furniture;
[0019] Figures 2A and 2B show two views of a guide device for the furniture in Figure 1;
[0020] Figures 3A and 3B show two views of the running part of the guide device of the
[0021] Figure 2;
[0022] Figures 4A to 4C show several views of the guide device with a guide element in a resilient position;
[0023] Figures 5A and 5B show two views of a housing of the running part of Figure 4 without guide elements, and Figures 6A and 6B show two views of the housing of the running part of Figure 5, partly in section.
[0024] A piece of furniture 1 comprises a furniture body 2, which has a top panel 4, a base 5, and two side walls 3 connecting the top panel 4 to the base 5. Optionally, a rear wall can also be provided on the furniture body 2. Two folding sliding doors 30 are provided on a front side of the furniture body 2, which doors comprise a pivotable leaf 6 and a pivotable and movable leaf 7. On the right side in Figure 1, the folding sliding door 30 is shown in the closed position, and on the left side in an open position. The two leaves 6 and 7 are connected to one another via hinges 9 and can be moved from a position in one plane into a folded position. The side of the leaf 7 facing away from the hinges 9 is guided on a guide rail 8 on the furniture body 2, which is arranged on the base 5; the guide rail 8 can optionally also be provided on the top panel 2.
[0025] Figures 2A and 2B show in detail a guide device for the leaf 7 of the folding sliding door 30. The guide device comprises a guide member 11, which is fixed to a mounting element 12 on the leaf 7. Optionally, the guide member 11 can also be fixed directly to the sliding door 7, for example, via fastening means such as screws.
[0026] The running part 11 comprises a box-shaped housing which has an upwardly projecting web 14, so that the running part 11 is L-shaped when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 8. Guide elements 13 are provided on the upwardly projecting web 14, which can roll along a guide track on a web 10 of the guide rail 8 and face the leaf 7. These guide elements 13 have a vertical axis of rotation, which is designed as a fixed bearing without spring support. On the opposite side, two further guide elements 15 are arranged on the running part 11, which roll along a guide track on the opposite side of the web 10. The guide elements 15, which are also designed with a vertical axis of rotation, are resiliently mounted on the running part 11 and can thus compensate for differences in thickness on the web 10 or a curvature on the guide rail 8.The guide elements 15 are each held on an axle 16 that extends through the running part 11 and is fixed on a lower side by a holder 17 that secures the axles 16 against axial and radial displacement. Thus, the holder 17 can be considered the lower fixed bearing point or the fixed bearing of the axle 16.
[0027] The guide elements 13 and 15 are designed as rotating rollers that can be rotated smoothly, for example, via a roller bearing or other pivot bearing. The rollers can be made of an elastic material to keep running noise to a minimum.
[0028] In Figures 3A and 3B, the running part 11 is shown without the guide rail 8. It can be seen that the two guide elements 13 are each arranged in a receptacle 20 on the upwardly projecting web 14, wherein each guide element 13 is held on an axle which engages in an upper opening 21 and, on the opposite side, also in an opening, so that the guide elements 13 are held dimensionally stable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 8. On the opposite side, the guide elements 15 are spring-mounted via the axles 16, wherein each axle 16 is held on a receptacle 18 on which a spring element 19 is provided. The axle 16 can be preloaded towards the guide rail 8 via the spring element 19.The distance between the receptacle 18 and the guide element 15 in the longitudinal direction of the axis 16 is preferably between 10 mm and 50 mm, so that a slight deformation of the spring element 19 due to the lever conditions leads to a certain spacing of the guide element 15 from the guide element 13.
[0029] In Figures 4A to 4C, the guide elements 15 are shown in a resiliently deflected position, for example, because the web 10 of the guide rail is thicker than at another location, or for other reasons. The guide elements 13 are essentially fixed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 8 and are not resiliently mounted. Therefore, compensation is only provided by the guide elements 15 on the side facing away from the leaf 7.
[0030] The axle 16 is mounted at a lower fixed bearing point, formed by the holder 17, and an upper bearing point, formed by the receptacle 18, whereby the receptacle 18 can be regarded as a floating bearing due to the elastic spring element 19. As Figure 4B clearly shows, the axle 16 is no longer aligned vertically as in Figure 2B, but has a tilted or inclined position relative to a vertical, so that the axle 16 is aligned at an angle to the plane of the guideway. By tilting the axle, the guide element 15 was moved away from the opposite guide element 13, whereby the rounded contour of the roller of the guide element 15 still rests against the guideway on the web 10.
[0031] In Figures 5A and 5B, the running part 11 is shown without guide elements 13 and 15, axles 16, and holders 17, revealing a one-piece housing 24. It is clear that two receptacles 20 are formed on the upwardly projecting web 14, which have an opening 21 on the top side for inserting an axle and an opening 22 on the bottom side for inserting an axle, so that the axle engages in openings 21 and 22 on both sides of the guide element 13 and can be rigidly mounted.
[0032] On the opposite side of the housing 24, receptacles 18 are formed, into which axes 16 for the guide elements 15 can be inserted. On each receptacle 18, a spring element 19 is designed as a leaf spring, which is formed integrally with the housing 24. The spring element 19 has a curved contour and biases the axis 16 towards the web 14. It is also possible to provide separate spring elements made of metal or another material on the housing 24 or the running part 11 instead of an integrally formed spring element 19. Furthermore, it is conceivable to form a second spring element diametrically opposite the first spring element 19 on the receptacle 18, so that the two spring elements are positioned offset by 180° from one another. This enables the axis 16 to tilt in both directions relative to a vertical.
[0033] In Figures 6A and 6B, the housing 24 of the running part 11 is shown partially in section, and it can be seen that the axle 16 can be inserted into the receptacle 18, wherein the receptacle 18 has a contour that deviates from the circular shape and the curved spring element 19 is provided on one side, which can be placed with a contact surface against the cylindrical axle 16. Narrow webs 25 are formed on the spring element 19, which, due to their special contour, enable elastic deformation of the spring element 19. Spaced from the receptacle 18, an opening 23 is formed in the housing 24 of the running part 11, through which the axle 16 is passed and inserted into the holder 17 in order to mount the axle 16 in the axial and radial directions.
[0034] The guide elements 13 and 15 are arranged at least partially offset in the longitudinal direction of the running part 11. Preferably, at least two guide elements 13 and 15 are arranged on opposite sides of the guide rail 8 on a line perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 8, but it is also possible to arrange the guide elements 13 and 15 vertically offset in a line perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 8.
[0035] In the illustrated embodiment, the running part 11 comprises four guide elements 13 and 15, with two guide elements 13 and 15 each arranged on opposite sides of the web 10 of the guide rail 8. It is also possible to design the running part 11 with only two guide elements 13 and 15 or to provide three or more than four guide elements 13 and 15. The web 10 of the guide rail 8 has a substantially rectangular cross-section and has the guide tracks on opposite sides. It is also possible to design the web 10 in a stepped manner, with at least one groove, or with a different geometry.
[0036] In addition, the running part 11 can also be fixed to a sliding door to guide it instead of to a folding sliding door 30.
