Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Cover for a connection device of a wiping system
[0001] The field of the present invention is that of wiping systems intended for motor vehicles. More particularly, the field of the present invention is that of the connection means implemented between a wiping arm and a wiping blade of such a wiping system.
[0002] Motor vehicles are commonly equipped with wiping systems intended to clean their glass surfaces, and in particular their windshields. Such wiping systems comprise at least one wiping arm and a wiper blade driven by the wiping arm. The wiping arm is thus connected to an electric motor of the vehicle and the wiper blade comprises at least one wiping blade adapted to come into contact with the glass surface to be cleaned. In order to be able to drive the wiper blade, a connection device is arranged between this wiper blade and the wiper arm. Such a connection device conventionally comprises at least one connector secured to the wiper blade and at least one adapter which allows the connector, and therefore the wiper blade on which it is fixed, to be connected to the wiper arm.
[0003] There are now a multitude of different wiper arms which require, for their attachment to the wiper blade, as many different connection devices. "Universal" connection devices suitable for use on most of these wiper arms are now marketed.
[0004] A first disadvantage of these “universal” connection devices lies in the fact that once mounted, the wiping arm received in the adapter of such a connection device remains visible, as does the connector with which the adapter cooperates, as well as the various structural elements which constitute the connection device. It has therefore been proposed to add a cover, mounted in rotation on the adapter and which allows, when it is in the closed position, to hide all of these elements, thus improving the aesthetics of the mounted connection device. This cover can also make it possible to secure the connection between the wiping arm and the adapter. However, this securing is only possible for a particular type of arm, generally called “hook arm”.When the connection device as mentioned above is used with a so-called "pin" wiper arm, this cover interferes with the wiper arm, so that this cover must be removed to allow the use of the connection device with these so-called "pin" arms.
[0005] The removal of this cover is, in the connection devices currently in use work, complex. The present invention falls within this context by proposing a cover for a connection device of a wiping system which is easy to disengage from the adapter of this connection device.
[0006] An object of the present invention thus relates to a cover for a connection device adapted to be rotatably mounted on an adapter of the connection device, the cover extending mainly between a first end and a second end, the first end comprising at least one bearing adapted to cooperate with a rod of the adapter, the cover being configured to be closed in a first direction of rotation and to be opened in a second direction of rotation. According to the invention, the bearing comprises at least one tab adapted to allow the disengagement of the bearing relative to the rod of the adapter, in the first direction of rotation.
[0007] According to the invention, the tab extends towards the outside of the cover. It is understood that, in order to allow the cover to be disengaged from the adapter on which it is mounted in rotation, it must be accessible to users of the cover according to the invention.
[0008] According to a characteristic of the invention, the bearing takes the form of a hollow cylinder which extends along a main extension axis between a first base and a second base and which comprises a peripheral wall which delimits a hollow space, an axial opening being provided in the peripheral wall, this axial opening extending from the first base to the second base and this axial opening being adapted to receive the at least one rod of the adapter. In other words, it is understood that the peripheral wall has a C-shaped profile, the ends of this C-shape delimiting the axial opening provided in the peripheral wall. According to this characteristic, the peripheral wall thus forms a first edge and a second edge distant from each other and which delimit the axial opening provided in this peripheral wall, the at least one tab emerging from the second edge.Optionally, the peripheral wall may be made of an elastic material, i.e. a material suitable for returning to its initial shape after having undergone mechanical stress, so that the rod of the adapter can be forced into the hollow space of the bearing through the axial opening provided in this peripheral wall and so that this peripheral wall then returns to its initial position, thus retaining the rod in the hollow space of the bearing.
[0009] According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the tongue takes the shape of a semicircle whose diameter is less than or equal to a length of the bearing measured between the first base and the second base of the hollow cylinder shape, parallel to the main extension axis of this cylinder. According to this exemplary embodiment, the tongue extends mainly in a main extension plane, the tongue comprising at least one finger which extends mainly along an axis transverse to the main extension plane of the tongue. Optionally, the finger of the tongue may extend, mainly, along an axis perpendicular to the main extension plane of the tongue. According to the invention, the cover comprises at least one retaining means adapted to cooperate with the adapter, this at least one retaining means being distinct from the bearing. According to the invention, this at least one retaining means may for example comprise a branch which emerges from an internal face of the cover and which extends to a button, the branch, the internal face of the cover and the button defining a receiving zone for a rib provided on the adapter.
[0010] Advantageously, the at least one finger forms a gripping area on which a user can exert pressure. Exercising this pressure on the finger of the tab causes a rotational movement of the cover in the first direction of rotation, that is to say the direction of rotation which allows the cover to be closed. The cover in the closed position being held on the adapter by the at least one retaining means, exerting pressure on the finger ultimately results in a disengagement of the cover, and more particularly of the bearing of this cover, relative to the adapter.
[0011] The present invention also relates to a connection device adapted to connect a wiper arm to a wiper blade, the connection device comprising at least one connector secured to the wiper blade, at least one adapter adapted to connect the connector to the wiper arm and at least one cover as mentioned above, the cover being rotatably mounted on the adapter. According to the invention, the adapter comprises at least one rod received in the bearing of the cover, the adapter having a recess opposite this rod and the tab of the cover extending, at least partially, through this recess.
[0012] The invention also relates to a wiping system comprising at least one wiping blade adapted to be driven in rotation by a wiping arm, the wiping arm and the wiping blade being connected to each other by a connection device as previously mentioned.
[0013] The invention finally relates to a motor vehicle, comprising at least one wiping system according to the invention.
[0014] Other details, characteristics and advantages will emerge more clearly on reading the detailed description given below in relation to the different operating modes illustrated, for information purposes, in the following figures:

[0019] The features, variants and different embodiments of the invention may be combined with each other, in various combinations, provided that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. In particular, variants of the invention may be imagined comprising only a selection of features described below in isolation from the other features described, if this selection of features is sufficient to confer a technical advantage or to differentiate the invention from the prior art.
[0020] In the figures, the terms longitudinal, transverse, lateral, left, right, above, below, refer to the orientation, in a trihedron L, V, T of a wiper blade 1 of a wiping system 100 according to the invention. In this reference frame, a longitudinal axis L represents a longitudinal direction, a transverse axis T represents a transverse direction, and a vertical axis V represents a vertical direction of the object considered. In this reference frame, a transverse section corresponds to a section made along a transverse and vertical plane, that is to say a plane in which the transverse axis T and the vertical axis V of the trihedron are inscribed. A longitudinal section designates a section made along a longitudinal and vertical plane, that is to say a plane in which the longitudinal axis L and the vertical axis X are inscribed. In the following description the terms "wiper blade" and "broom" will be used without distinction, as will the terms "wiper arm" and "arm".
[0021] [fig.l] illustrates, in the same figure, a wiping system 100 for a glazed surface of a motor vehicle according to a first example and according to a second example of embodiment of the present invention, the first example being illustrated on the right of [fig.l] and the second example on the left of this same [fig.l]. As illustrated, the wiping system 100 according to the invention comprises at least one wiper blade 110 which extends along a longitudinal straight line X and which is adapted to be connected to a wiper arm 120, 120' via a connection device 200.The wiper blade 110 more particularly comprises at least one wiper blade 111 adapted to come into contact with the glazed surface to be wiped, a member for stiffening the wiper blade 111 - not illustrated here - and at least one air deflector 112 adapted to transform a pressure applied by a flow of air circulating along the glazed surface into a pressing force of the wiper blade 110 against the glazed surface of the motor vehicle.
[0022] The connection device 200 comprises at least one connector 210 secured to the wiper blade 110 and at least one adapter 220 adapted to connect the connector 210, and therefore the wiper blade 110 to which it is secured, to the wiper arm 120, 120'. The wiper arm 120, 120' is configured to rotate the wiper blade 110 to which it is connected. Thus, this wiper arm 120, 120' is mechanically connected to an electric motor - not shown here - arranged on the vehicle and adapted to rotate the wiper arm 120, 120'. The connection device 200 according to the invention is adapted to allow a connection between the wiper blade 110 and the wiper arm 120 according to a first exemplary embodiment as well as between the wiper blade 110 and the wiper arm 120' according to a second exemplary embodiment. Two distinct modes of implementation of the adapter 220 of the connection device 200 are thus distinguished, chosen according to the type of wiper arm to be connected.
[0023] We will first describe the characteristics common to the first and second exemplary embodiments of the wiping arm 120, 120', as well as to the first and second embodiments of the adapter 220 before describing the characteristics which distinguish these exemplary embodiments and these embodiments from one another.
[0024] The wiping arm 120, 120' according to any one of the embodiments illustrated in [fig.l] thus extends mainly along a main extension axis XI between a first end - not illustrated here - by which it is connected to the electric motor, and a second end 121, 121' by which it is connected to the adapter 220.
[0025] The adapter 220 according to any one of the illustrated embodiments extends mainly in a longitudinal direction D, that is to say a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis L of the illustrated trihedron, and comprises at least a first side wall 221, a second side wall 222 distant from each other and connected to each other by at least one transverse wall, for example illustrated in [fig.2]. In other words, a space 225 is provided between the first side wall 221 and the second side wall 222. As shown, the first side wall 221 is inscribed in a first vertical and longitudinal plane, that is to say a plane in which the longitudinal axis L and the vertical axis V of the illustrated trihedron are inscribed, and the second side wall 222 is inscribed in a second vertical and longitudinal plane, distinct from the first vertical and longitudinal plane. In other words, it is understood that the first side wall 221 and the second side wall 222 extend mainly in two planes parallel to each other. The adapter 220 further comprises at least one through orifice 224 provided on each of its side walls 221, 222. These orifices 224 are adapted to receive an axis of rotation of the wiping arm 120, 120' relative to the adapter 220. In other words the orifice 224 provided in the first side wall. 221 and the orifice 224 formed in the second side wall 222 are coaxial.
[0026] According to the first exemplary embodiment illustrated on the right of the figure, the second end 121 of the wiping arm 120 comprises at least two flanks 122 connected to each other by an upper wall 123. The wiping arm 120 according to this first exemplary embodiment further comprises at least one shaft 124 which emerges from one of the flanks 122 of the second end 121, and which extends parallel to the transverse axis T of the trihedron illustrated, away from the two flanks 122. More particularly, this shaft 124 emerges from an external face of the flank 122 concerned, that is to say a face of this flank 122 facing away from the other flank 122 of the second end 121.Furthermore, at least one pin 125 which comprises at least a first portion 126 which emerges, both from the external face of the flank 122 which also carries the shaft 124 and from the upper wall 123 of the second end 121, and at least a second portion 127 which extends transversely to the first portion 126, in the direction of the wiper blade 110 when the wiper arm 120 is connected to this wiper blade 110. This wiper arm 120 is adapted to be connected, in a detachable manner to the adapter 220 according to the first embodiment of the invention.
[0027] The adapter 220 according to the first embodiment of the invention, also illustrated on the right of [fig.l], comprises all of the characteristics common to the two embodiments, described above. According to this first embodiment of the invention, the orifices 224 are adapted to receive the shaft 124 of the wiping arm 120 according to the first embodiment, this shaft 124 thus defining the axis of rotation of the wiping arm 120 relative to the wiper blade 110. The pin 125 is for its part adapted to bear against an external face of one of the side walls 221, 222 of the adapter 220, that is to say a face of the side wall concerned facing away from the other side wall.More particularly, it is understood that in the mounted position, the external face of the flank 122 of the second end 121 of the wiping arm 120 from which the shaft 124 emerges is arranged against one of the side walls of the adapter 220, in this case against the first side wall 221, the first portion 126 of the pin 125 extends so as to partially cover the space 225 formed between the first side wall 221 and the second side wall 222 and the second portion 127 of the pin 125 is arranged opposite the external face of the other side wall, in this case the second side wall 222. For example, the second portion 127 of the pin 125 may be arranged in contact with this external face of the second side wall 222, thus making it possible to stabilize the connection between the wiping arm 120 according to the first exemplary embodiment and the adapter according to the first embodiment of the invention.
[0028] The wiping arm 120' according to the second embodiment example, illustrated on the left of [fig.l] differs from the wiping arm 120 according to the first embodiment example lization, in particular by the shape taken by its second end 121'. The second end 121' of the wiping arm 120' according to the second exemplary embodiment thus takes the form of a hook whose curvature is inscribed in a longitudinal and vertical plane, that is to say a plane in which the longitudinal axis L and the vertical axis V of the illustrated trihedron are inscribed. This wiping arm 120' is adapted to be connected, in a removable manner, to the adapter 220 according to the second embodiment of the invention, also illustrated on the left of [fig.l]. More particularly, the hook forming the second end 121' of the wiping arm 120', comes around the transverse wall which connects the first side wall 221 to the second side wall 222 of the adapter 220.In other words, it is understood that the wiping arm 120' according to the second exemplary embodiment is received, at least partially, in the space 225 provided between the first and second side walls 221, 222 of the adapter 220.
[0029] As will be detailed in more detail below, this adapter 220 according to the second embodiment of the invention differs from the adapter 220 according to the first embodiment in that it comprises a cover 223 arranged at one of its longitudinal ends. This cover 223 is rotatably mounted on the adapter 220 and is adapted to take at least a first open position and a second closed position, [fig.l] illustrating the cover 223 in its closed position. Advantageously, at least a portion of this cover 223, when it is in the closed position, comes to bear against the hook which forms the second end 121' of the wiping arm 120' according to the second exemplary embodiment, thus blocking the movements of the wiping arm 120' along the longitudinal axis L and consequently securing the connection between the wiping arm 120' and the adapter 220.
[0030] On the other hand, as will be detailed in more detail below, this cover 223 cannot be used for the connection between the connection device 200 according to the invention and the wiping arm 120 according to the first exemplary embodiment. Indeed, this cover 223 interferes, at least, with the sides 122 of the wiping arm 120 according to the first exemplary embodiment so that it is appropriate to disengage this cover 223 from the adapter 220 in order to allow the mounting of the wiping arm 120 according to the first exemplary embodiment on this adapter 220. For this purpose, the cover 223 comprises a disengagement means described and illustrated below in [fig.3].
[0031] With reference to [fig.2], we will describe in more detail the adapter 220 according to the first embodiment of the invention, that is to say without the cover and thus adapted to cooperate with the wiping arm according to the first embodiment of the invention.
[0032] The adapter 220 extends mainly in the longitudinal direction D between a first longitudinal end 226 and a second longitudinal end 227. Such as previously mentioned, the adapter 220 is formed of the first side wall 221 and the second side wall 222 which extend mainly in two longitudinal and vertical planes parallel to each other. It is noted that the first longitudinal end 226 is closed by a rear wall 229 of the adapter 220 which extends between the first side wall 221 and the second side wall 222, transversely to these first and second side walls 221, 222. More particularly, according to the example illustrated here, this rear wall 229 of the adapter 220 extends, mainly, in a transverse and vertical plane, that is to say a plane in which the transverse axis T and the vertical axis V of the illustrated trihedron are inscribed. In other words, this rear wall 229 of the adapter 220 extends perpendicularly, or substantially perpendicularly, to the first side wall 221 and to the second side wall 222 of the adapter 220.This rear wall 229 is present on the adapter 220 regardless of the chosen implementation mode, in other words whether this adapter 220 is used with the wiping arm according to the first or second embodiment.
[0033] The second longitudinal end 227 of the adapter 220 is partially closed by a rod 228 which connects the first side wall 121 and the second side wall 222 together. It should be noted, however, that a recess 246 is provided in the adapter, opposite this rod 228. According to the example illustrated, this rod 228 more particularly takes a cylindrical, or substantially cylindrical, shape, of which an axis of revolution R is transverse, that is to say that this axis of revolution R extends parallel to the transverse axis T of the trihedron illustrated. In other words, the rod 228 extends perpendicular to the first side wall 221 and to the second side wall 222. This rod 228 is present on the adapter 220 regardless of the chosen implementation mode.As more fully described below, this rod 228 of the adapter 220 is adapted to be received in a bearing provided on the cover of the adapter when the latter is used according to the second mode of implementation.
[0034] [Fig. 2] also shows the transverse wall 230 mentioned above which also connects the first side wall 221 to the second side wall 222. According to the example illustrated, this transverse wall 230 extends more particularly parallel to the transverse axis T of the trihedron illustrated and is therefore perpendicular to the first side wall 221 and to the second side wall 222. As previously described, this transverse wall 230 is adapted to be received in the hook forming the second end of the wiping arm according to the second example embodiment.
[0035] [Fig. 2] finally shows the orifices 224 respectively provided in each of the side walls 221, 222 of the adapter 220 and adapted to receive, for example, the shaft of the wiping arm produced according to the first exemplary embodiment.
[0036] With reference to [fig.3] we will now describe the cover 223 in more detail. adapted to be rotatably mounted on the adapter when the latter is used according to the second embodiment of the invention. This cover 223 takes a generally curved shape and extends between a first end 231 and a second end 232. This cover 223 has an internal face 233 facing the space provided between the first side wall and the second side wall of the adapter when the cover 223 is mounted on this adapter, and an external face 234 facing away from the internal face 233, that is to say towards an environment external to the adapter.
[0037] As previously mentioned, the cover 223 is adapted to be mounted in rotation on the adapter. For this purpose, the cover 223 comprises a bearing 235 adapted to cooperate with the rod provided at the second longitudinal end of the adapter, between the first side wall and the second side wall of this adapter. This bearing 235 emerges from the internal face 233 of the cover 223 and takes the form of a hollow cylinder which extends a main extension axis R' between a first base 236 and a second base 237. In other words, this bearing 235 comprises a cylindrical peripheral wall 238 which delimits a hollow space 239. As detailed below, this hollow space 239 is adapted to receive, at least partially, the rod provided on the adapter. In other words, the hollow space 239 delimited by the peripheral wall 238 of the bearing 235 has dimensions complementary to the dimensions of the rod of the adapter. This bearing 235 also has an axial opening 240 formed in the peripheral wall 238, that is to say an opening which extends between the first base 236 and the second base 237, parallel to the main extension axis R' of the hollow cylinder shape which the bearing 235 takes. It is therefore understood that the peripheral wall 238 which delimits the hollow space 239 of the bearing 235 has a C-shaped profile, that is to say a C-shaped shape seen in a longitudinal and vertical plane, that is to say a plane in which the longitudinal axis L and the vertical axis V of the illustrated trihedron are inscribed.
[0038] Thus, the axial opening 240 formed in the peripheral wall 238 of the bearing 235 is delimited by a first edge 241 and by a second edge 242 respectively formed by portions of the peripheral wall 238, in this case by the ends of the C-shaped profile. This axial opening 240 is configured to allow the insertion of the rod of the adapter into the hollow space 239 of the bearing 235. In other words, a dimension dl of the axial opening 240 measured perpendicular to the main extension axis R' of the hollow cylinder between the first edge 241 and the second edge 242 which delimit this axial opening 240 is greater than or equal to a diameter of the rod of the adapter.Advantageously, the peripheral wall 238 of the bearing 235 can be made of an elastic material, that is to say a material configured to return to its initial shape after having undergone mechanical stress, so that it can deform to allow the rod to be forcibly inserted into the hollow space 239 and then return to its initial position in order to ensure that this is maintained. rod of the adapter in the hollow space 239 of the bearing 235. Furthermore, in order to allow the rotation of the cover 223 around the rod of the adapter, a clearance is provided between the rod of the adapter and an internal face 243 of the peripheral wall 238, that is to say a face of this peripheral wall 238 facing the hollow space 239. In other words, it is understood that a diameter of the hollow space 239 of the bearing 235 is greater than the diameter of the rod of the adapter. These dimensions are for example illustrated in [fig.4].
[0039] The bearing 235 also comprises a tab 250 which extends from the second edge 242 which delimits the axial opening 240 formed in its peripheral wall 238, towards the outside of the cover 223. This tab 250 is configured to allow the disengagement of the cover 223 once the latter is mounted on the adapter. This tab 250 more particularly takes a semi-circle shape whose diameter d2 is less than or equal to a length of the bearing 235, that is to say a dimension of this bearing 235 measured along its main extension axis R' between the first base 236 and the second base 237 of the hollow cylinder shape that it takes. The tongue 250 also comprises a finger 251 which extends along an axis transverse to a main extension plane of the tongue 250, that is to say a section in which this tongue 250 extends mainly.According to a particular example of the invention, the finger 251 can extend along an axis perpendicular to the main extension plane of the tongue 250.
[0040] The cover 223 also comprises at least one reinforcing rib 244 which emerges from the peripheral wall 238 of the bearing 235 and which extends following the curvature of the cover 223. According to the example illustrated, the cover 223 more particularly comprises two reinforcing ribs 244 which extend mainly in two parallel planes. These reinforcing ribs 244 participate in the structural maintenance of the cover 223 and also form the portion of the cover 223 which abuts against the hook of the wiping arm according to the second exemplary embodiment previously mentioned.
[0041] Finally, the cover 223 comprises a retaining means 260 which participates in holding it on the adapter. This retaining means 260 comprises at least one branch 261 which extends in a direction parallel to the vertical axis V of the trihedron illustrated between at least a first end 262 by which it emerges from the internal face 233 of the cover 223 and a second end which takes the form of a button 263. As is for example visible in [fig. 4] the at least one branch 261, the button 263 forming its second end and the internal face 233 of the cover 223 from which the branch 261 emerges together define a receiving zone 264 for a rib formed on one of the side walls of the adapter. In other words, this retaining means participates, together with the bearing 235, in maintaining the cover 223 on the adapter 220. According to the example shown, the retaining means 260 is more particularly formed by two branches 261 identical to that which has just been described, that is to say that each of these branches 261 emerges from the internal face 233 of the cover 223 and extends to a second end formed by a button 263, each branch 261, and each button 263 defining, with the internal face 233 of the cover 223, a receiving zone 264 of a rib arranged on the adapter. Furthermore, it is noted that these two branches 261 extend parallel to each other.
[0042] [Fig. 4] is a representation, in longitudinal section, of the second end 227 of the adapter 220 on which the cover 223 is mounted. In other words, this [Fig. 4] illustrates a longitudinal section of the second end 227 of the adapter 220 according to the second embodiment of the invention.
[0043] As previously mentioned, the cover 223 is rotatably mounted on the rod 228 of the adapter 220 and it is configured to take at least one closed position, illustrated in [fig. 4], in which it forms a stop for the longitudinal movements of the hook forming the second end of the wiping arm according to the second exemplary embodiment of the invention and at least one open position in which it allows the insertion of this hook forming the second end of the wiping arm according to the second exemplary embodiment of the invention. Thus, the cover 223 can be closed in a first direction of rotation S1 and open in a second direction of rotation S2 opposite to the first direction of rotation S1.
[0044] As described above, these rotations are notably permitted by the fact that the rod 228 has a diameter d3 smaller than the diameter d4 of the hollow space 239 in which it is received. Furthermore, this [fig.4] makes visible one of the ribs 245 formed on the adapter 220, and more particularly on the internal faces of each of the side walls 221, 222 of this adapter 220, received in one of the two receiving zones 264 formed by the retaining means 260.
[0045] The tab 250 of the cover 223 extends, when the cover 223 is in its closed position, beyond the adapter 220, that is to say outside this adapter 220. More particularly, this tab 250 extends through the recess 246 formed in the adapter 220, towards the outside of the cover 223. In particular, at least the finger 251 extends outside the adapter 220 and forms a gripping zone, at the level of which a user can exert pressure. It is understood that applying pressure to this finger 251 of the tab 250 allows the user to disengage the cover 223 from the rod 228. More particularly, the pressure exerted on this finger 251 tends to continue the rotation of the cover 223 in the first direction of rotation SI, that is to say the direction of rotation allowing the closing of this cover 223.The rotation of the cover 223 in this first direction of rotation S1 being blocked by the cooperation between the ribs 245 and the receiving zones 264 of the retaining means 260, the pressure exerted on the finger constrains the cover 223, and more particularly the bearing. 235 of this cover 223, to disengage from the rod 228. The disassembly of this cover 223 from the adapter 220 is thus particularly easy, allowing simple and rapid adaptation of the connection device 200 according to the invention to different types of wiping arms.
[0046] This [fig.4] finally makes visible one of the orifices 224 formed in the side walls 221, 222 of the adapter 220, and adapted to receive the shaft of the wiping arm according to the first exemplary embodiment. It appears clearly from this [fig.4] that this wiping arm according to the first exemplary embodiment would interfere with the cover 223 so that this cover 223 must be removed to allow the use of the connection device according to the invention with this type of wiping arm.
[0047] It is understood from the above that the cover 223 is removable so as to allow, on the one hand, to secure the connection between the wiping arm 120' according to the second exemplary embodiment and the adapter 220 according to the second embodiment, and on the other hand, to allow the connection of the wiping arm 120' according to the second exemplary embodiment to this same adapter 220. Indeed, as has just been described, the present invention allows simple release of the cover 223 relative to the adapter 220 so as to be able to easily use the latter with at least the two types of arms which have just been described.
[0048] It is understood from the above that the present invention thus provides a connection device intended to connect a wiper blade to a wiper arm which can be easily adapted to be used with at least two different types of wiper arms, it being understood that the description which has just been given does not limit the scope of the present invention. It will in particular be possible to provide for using the connection device with wiper arms produced according to exemplary embodiments not described here without departing from the context of the present invention.
