[0015] The invention will be better understood upon reading the following description, given solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying figures, among which:
[0016] - [Fig. 1] Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a body structure including a pneumatic or hydraulic junction device according to an example of an embodiment of the invention;
[0017] - [Fig.2] Fig.2 is a schematic perspective view of a part of pneumatic or hydraulic connection of the pneumatic or hydraulic junction device; and
[0018] - [Fig.3] [Fig.3] is a schematic perspective view of the open end of a cavity having a shape adapted to receive the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece of [Fig.2].
[0019] Figure [Fig.1] shows part of a body structure 16 for a railway vehicle or road transport vehicle, for example guided, according to a first embodiment of the invention.
[0020] In the case described here, the public transport vehicle comprises at least two cars, each with a box 14.
[0021] The body structure 16 includes a wall 18 extending along a longitudinal direction L, the wall 18 delimiting at least one cavity 20 extending along the longitudinal direction L.
[0022] The cavity 20 delimits a passage for a fluid under pressure, for example a gas under pressure.
[0023] The fluid or gas under pressure has a pressure greater than 2 x 105 Pa (Pascal) and preferably between 5 x 105 Pa and 10 x 105 Pa.
[0024] Such values allow in particular the optimal service and operation of the equipment to be powered.
[0025] The wall 18 is formed from a single piece.
[0026] The wall 18 comprises an inner face 22, an outer face 24 and ribs 26 connecting the inner face 22 and the outer face 24.
[0027] Each cavity 20 is defined between the inner face 22, the outer face 24 and two adjacent ribs 26.
[0028] Each cavity 20 has an open end 28.
[0029] The body structure 16 includes a pneumatic or hydraulic junction device 30 suitable for connecting two cavities 20 of two adjacent cars in a fluidic and sealed manner.
[0030] The pneumatic or hydraulic junction device 30 is formed by the open end 28 of each of the two cavities 20 having a shape adapted to receive a pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32.
[0031] As shown in [Fig.2], each pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 comprises a hollow tube 36 extending between a first end 40 adapted to be connected to the open end 28 of one of the cavities 20 and a second end 42 adapted to be connected to a connecting tube, in particular to a connecting hose.
[0032] The hollow tube 36 has an angled shape.
[0033] The first end 40 has a complementary shape of a hollow sleeve 44 housed in the cavity 20 where it is received.
[0034] The first end 40 has a cylindrical cross-section.
[0035] For example, the first end 40 is threaded, or has complementary asperities of indentations formed in the sleeve 44.
[0036] Thus, the first end 40 fits firmly and securely into the open end 28 of the cavity 20.
[0037] The second end 42 is adapted to receive a flexible hose and secure it in a watertight manner. Advantageously, the second end 42 includes an O-ring (not shown) to ensure the watertightness of the connection.
[0038] The second end 42 has, for example, a square or hexagonal cross-section.
[0039] The pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 includes at least one fixing section 46, and / or 48 to the respective casing 14.
[0040] For example, a first fixing section 46 is in the form of a rectangular piece extending transversely to the tube 36.
[0041] The first fixing section 46 is arranged in the vicinity of the first end 40.
[0042] The first fixing section 46 advantageously includes at least one first receiving orifice 50 for fixing means in order to fix the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 to the respective casing 14.
[0043] For example, the first fixing section 46 includes two first orifices 50 for receiving fixing means distributed on either side of the hollow tube 36.
[0044] The means of fastening are, for example, screws.
[0045] Advantageously, a second fixing section 48 extends projecting from the hollow tube 36.
[0046] The second fixing section 48 is arranged in the vicinity of the second end 42.
[0047] The second fixing section 48 extends substantially parallel to the first end 40 of the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32.
[0048] The second fixing section 48 advantageously includes at least one second orifice 54 for receiving fixing means in order to fix the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 to the respective casing 14.
[0049] In particular, the second mounting section 48 includes a single second receiving port 54. The second port 54 is preferably oblong in shape. This ensures a mounting tolerance when the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 is attached to the respective housing 14.
[0050] The means of fastening are, for example, screws.
[0051] The pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 advantageously further comprises a second hollow tube 58 in fluidic communication with the hollow tube 36 disposed near the second end 42 and transverse to the hollow tube 36.
[0052] The second hollow tube 58 allows the connection of the respective cavity 20 to additional pipes, in order to distribute the fluid for example to a suspension system, and / or to a braking system.
[0053] The fluid flowing in the hollow tube 36 is thus also distributed via the second hollow tube 58.
[0054] Each pneumatic or hydraulic connecting part 32 is advantageously made of metal.
[0055] Figure 3 shows the open end 28 of a cavity 20 having a shape adapted to receive the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32.
[0056] The body structure 16 includes at the open end 28 of the cavity 20 a hollow sleeve 44 complementary to the first end 40 as mentioned above. The sleeve 44 includes a fastening end 60 intended to be fixed to the pneumatic or hydraulic connection piece 32.
[0057] The sleeve 44 advantageously has a counterbore at its fixing end 60 in order to connect the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 to the sleeve 44 in a sealed manner.
[0058] The external face 24 of the wall 18 is modified to allow the positioning of the sleeve 44 in the cavity 20.
[0059] In particular, it is wider at the contact with the sleeve 44. In addition, the external face 24 has a machined portion 61 in the vicinity of the fixing end 60 of the sleeve 44.
[0060] The machined portion 61 is recessed relative to the rest of the outer face 24 of the wall 18. Thanks to this machined portion, the first end 40 of the part of Pneumatic or hydraulic connection 32 can be more easily connected to sleeve 44.
[0061] The open end 28 further includes an element 62, for example welded, extending transversely to the longitudinal direction and extending from the inner face 22 of the wall 18 to the outside of the cavity 20.
[0062] Element 62, for example, has a substantially rectangular shape.
[0063] Element 62 has at least one opening 64 for receiving fastening means, in particular two orifices 64.
[0064] Element 62 is for example welded to the second fixing section 48 of the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32.
[0065] To connect the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32, the first end 40 of the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 is inserted into the hollow sleeve 44 complementary to the open end 28 of the cavity 20.
[0066] The first end 40 is thus fitted firmly and securely into the sleeve 44.
[0067] The first fixing section 46 the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 is fixed to the casing 14 by fixing means placed in the or each first receiving orifice 50.
[0068] The second fixing section 48 of the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 is assembled to the element 62.
[0069] When two adjacent cars each include a pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 connected to the open end 28 of the cavity 20 opposite each other, a flexible hose can be connected to each of the second ends 42 of the two pneumatic or hydraulic connecting pieces 32 in order to ensure the continuity of the pressurized fluid circuit between the two cars, and in a leak-proof manner.
[0070] The second hollow tube 58 of the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 is optionally connected to additional pipes, in order to distribute the fluid for example to a suspension system, and / or to a braking system.
[0071] The pneumatic or hydraulic junction device 30 formed by the pneumatic or hydraulic connecting piece 32 and the open end 28 of the cavity 20 thus makes it possible to connect two successive boxes from a pneumatic or hydraulic point of view when these include a wall delimiting at least one cavity delimiting a passage for a fluid under pressure, for example a gas under pressure.
[0072] The pneumatic or hydraulic connecting device 30 is compact, maintains the seal and it is not necessary to provide several pneumatic or hydraulic connecting pieces of different shapes since the connecting piece adapts to both ends of a car.
[0073] It is also possible to connect the connecting piece to additional pipes, in order to distribute the fluid for example to a suspension system, and / or to a braking system.
