Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Receptacle for a cosmetic product; refill, bottle and cap for such a receptacle. Technical field of the invention
[0001] The invention relates to a receptacle for a cosmetic product. In particular, it is a refillable receptacle with which an applicator assembly is associated. The invention also relates to a refill, a bottle and a cap forming such a receptacle. Technical background
[0002] In a receptacle of the aforementioned type, the bottle forms a volume for receiving a container containing the cosmetic product. The cap cooperates with the bottle in particular to protect the product contained in the container. As for the applicator assembly, it is intended to be immersed at least partially in the container to be in contact with the cosmetic product. Thus, the applicator assembly can be loaded with cosmetic product and return it according to the needs of a user.
[0003] In such a receptacle, when the cosmetic product is used up, it is known, for environmental protection reasons, to replace only the refill. Very often, only the container containing the cosmetic product is discarded after the cosmetic product has been used up. The bottle, the cap and the applicator assembly are kept for reuse.
[0004] Being able to keep the bottle and the cap is particularly advantageous when these are luxurious, for example when they are parts made from precious and / or decorated materials, for example covered with a trim, or even from an aluminum type material, which by comparison makes them more expensive parts to manufacture.
[0005] In some cases, it may also be necessary to be able to replace the applicator when it wears out prematurely.
[0006] Thus, the receptacle may have at least two interchangeable parts, namely the container and the applicator assembly; and two permanent parts, namely the bottle and the cap, intended to be reused.
[0007] The assembly and disassembly of interchangeable parts in relation to permanent parts is a design problem in the sense that these operations must be carried out by the user with a minimum of gestures and following the most ergonomic gestures.
[0008] The object of the present invention is to propose a solution in response to this problem. Summary of the invention
[0009] To this end, according to a first aspect, the invention relates to a refill for a cosmetic product receptacle, comprising:
[0010] - a container configured to contain the cosmetic product and extending along a main axis of a bottom arranged at a first axial end towards an opening arranged at a second opposite axial end, said container having a first fixing means configured to fix the refill to a bottle of the receptacle,
[0011] - an applicator assembly configured to cooperate with the container, said assembly applicator comprising an application member configured to be received inside the container, as well as a sleeve connected to the application member and configured to be reversibly fixed to the container, said applicator assembly having a second fixing means configured to fix the refill to a cover of the receptacle,
[0012] the first fixing means and the second fixing means being similar screwing means, the container and the applicator assembly being configured to form a single block capable of being inserted into or removed from the bottle or the cap.
[0013] Thus, by providing similar screwing means as first fixing means and second fixing means, the invention makes it possible to envisage a simpler procedure for mounting and dismounting the refill in relation to the cap on the one hand, and in relation to the bottle on the other hand.
[0014] The term “similar” means similar, analogous, comparable, equivalent. In other words, the screwing means are of the same type, of the same nature. The first and second fixing means may, for example, both be a thread. This does not, however, require that the two threads have the same thread pitch, the same screwing direction and / or the same dimensions, such as thread length, diameter. The thread pitch, the screwing direction and / or the dimensions may be identical or different for each of the first and second fixing means.
[0015] By "a single unit" is meant different parts which can be joined and reversibly separated. In other words, the container and the applicator assembly are linked together when they are inserted into or removed from the bottle or the cap, unlike, for example, other refills in which first the container is inserted into the bottle, then the applicator assembly is attached to the container and finally to the cap. The gesture is thus simplified. Furthermore, the container is always closed when it is inserted into or removed from the bottle, which limits the risks of damaging the cosmetic product for example. Similarly, the applicator assembly is protected inside the container, in particular when it is inserted into or removed from the bottle or when it is separated from the cap.
[0016] The invention according to this first aspect may comprise any of the features following characteristics, taken individually or in any technically possible combination: - the applicator assembly comprises a first assembly means configured to cooperate with a second assembly means formed at the container; - the first assembly means is formed at the sleeve; - the second fixing means is formed at the level of an end piece connected to the sleeve; - the applicator assembly comprises a first anti-rotation means configured to secure the refill and the cover of the rotating receptacle; - the first anti-rotation means is formed at the sleeve; - the first anti-rotation means comprises grooves formed on an external wall of the sleeve; - the refill comprises a first guide means configured to guide assembly / disassembly of the refill relative to the cover; - the first guide means is formed by the first anti-rotation means.
[0017] According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a bottle for a cosmetic product receptacle, comprising: - a first guide member forming a volume for receiving a refill as defined previously, said first guide member comprising a first guide means configured to guide a translational movement of the refill relative to the bottle; and - a first rotary actuating member comprising a third fixing means configured to cooperate with the first fixing means formed at the refill, the first guide member and the first rotary actuating member being mounted integral in translation and movable in rotation relative to each other.
[0018] By providing the first rotary actuating member and the first guide member movable in rotation relative to each other, the invention opens up the possibility, by a relative rotation of these members, of fixing or unlocking the refill relative to the bottle.
[0019] The invention according to this second aspect may comprise any one of the following features, taken individually or in any technically possible combination: - the first guide member comprises a first coupling means configured to cooperate with a second coupling means formed at the second rotary actuating member; - the first coupling means comprises at least one flexible tab provided with a lug; - the second coupling means comprises a notch in which said spur.
[0020] According to a third aspect, the invention relates to a cap for a cosmetic product receptacle. The cap is configured to be assembled to a bottle of the receptacle, as defined above, by means of a refill as defined above. In addition, the cap comprises: - a second rotary actuating member provided with a fourth fixing means configured to cooperate with the second fixing means formed on the refill, - a second guide member provided with a second guide means configured to guide a translational movement of the cover relative to the refill,
[0021] the fourth fixing means being distinct from the second guide means, the second rotary actuating member and the second guide member being integral in translation and movable in rotation relative to each other.
[0022] By providing the second rotary actuating member and the second guide member movable in rotation relative to each other, the invention opens up the possibility, by a relative rotation between these members, of fixing or unlocking the refill relative to the cover.
[0023] Advantageously, the cover comprises a second anti-rotation means configured to secure the cover and the rotating refill.
[0024] Advantageously, the second anti-rotation means is formed by the second guide means.
[0025] According to a fourth aspect, the invention relates to a receptacle comprising a refill, a bottle and a cap as defined previously.
[0026] The invention according to this fourth aspect may comprise any one of the following features, taken individually or in any technically possible combination: - the second fixing means formed at the level of the refill and the fourth fixing means formed at the level of the cover are configured to have a screwing / unscrewing torque different from a screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the first assembly means and the second assembly means of the refill; - the second fixing means formed at the level of the refill and the fourth fixing means formed at the level of the cover are configured to have a screwing / unscrewing torque substantially identical to a screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the first assembly means and the second assembly means of the refill; - the receptacle comprises first means for moving the refill relative to the bottle; - said first means of movement are formed by the first member rotary actuator capable of being moved by a user, and by the first guide member capable of transforming a rotation of the first rotary actuator member into an axial movement of the refill relative to the bottle so as to separate the refill from the bottle; - the receptacle comprises second means for moving the cover relative to the refill; - the second displacement means are formed by the second rotary actuating member capable of being rotated by a user, and by the second guide member capable of transforming a rotation of the second rotary actuating member into an axial displacement of the refill relative to the cover, so as to separate the refill from the cover; - the receptacle includes means for positioning the refill in the bottle; - the positioning means comprise the first fixing means and the first coupling means. [0034] - [Fig.7] is an exploded sectional view of a cover of the receptacle of [Fig.l]. Detailed description of the invention
[0035] By convention, the central axis Y is a longitudinal axis passing through the middle of the receptacle perpendicular to a plane containing a lower edge or an upper edge of the receptacle. The central axis Y is located substantially equidistant from two diametrically opposite points of the lower edge or upper edge of the receptacle. A direction orthogonal to the central axis Y is called a radial direction.
[0036] In the detailed description of the figures which follows, the terms “upper” and “lower” or “top” and “bottom” will be used in a non-limiting manner with reference to the central axis Y.
[0037] Similarly, unless otherwise indicated, the terms "outer or external" and "inner or internal" are used with reference to the radial direction, with an outer element being radially further from the central Y axis than an inner element.
[0038] In the remainder of the description, unless otherwise indicated, elements having an identical structure or similar functions will be designated by the same references.
[0039] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the present invention relates to a receptacle 10 for a cosmetic product. This receptacle 10 comprises a bottle IA configured to receive a refill IC containing the cosmetic product. The receptacle 10 also comprises a cover IB configured to cover a portion of the refill IC located outside the bottle IA. The refill IC is visible in [Fig.2].
[0040] In particular, the IA bottle comprises a main body 2, called the first guide member, which is connected to a base 3, called the first rotary actuating member. The body 2 and the base 3 form a housing intended to receive a lower part of the IC refill.
[0041] As better illustrated in [Fig. 3], the main body 2 has an upper edge 21 forming an opening 22 for access to the bottle IA. The main body 2 also has a lower edge 23 which cooperates with an upper edge 31 of the base 3. It should be noted that the base 3 has a lower edge 32 which forms a bottom of the bottle IA.
[0042] The main body 2 and the base 3 are integral in translation and movable in rotation relative to each other around the main axis of the receptacle 10. To do this, the main body 2 is provided with at least one first coupling means 24. The base 3 is provided with at least one second coupling means 33. The at least one first coupling means 24 cooperates with the at least one second coupling means 33.
[0043] Advantageously, the at least one first coupling means 24 is formed near the lower edge 23 of the main body 2. The at least one second coupling means 33 is formed near the upper edge 31 of the base 3. This arrangement leads to maximizing a total height of the flask IA in the assembled configuration.
[0044] In the illustrated embodiment, the at least one first coupling means 24 is formed by a tab 24 provided with an external radial lug 24a. The at least one second coupling means 33 is formed by a circumferential notch formed on an internal wall of the base 3. Here, a plurality of lugs 24a associated with a plurality of tabs 24 is configured to move in the notch 33.
[0045] It should be noted that the legs 24 have a certain flexibility allowing assembly by snap-fastening between the main body 2 and the base 3. Indeed, during contact between the main body 2 and the base 3, and in particular during contact between the lower edge 23 of the main body 2 and the upper edge 31 of the base 3, the legs 24 are bent radially towards the main axis Y of the receptacle 10. This allows insertion of the legs 24 into the base 3. Once positioned inside the base 3, the legs 24 return to their initial position, driving the lugs 24a into the notch 33. The lugs 24a can then move freely in the notch 33 while being blocked in translation.
[0046] Still with reference to [Fig. 3], the IA bottle comprises a fixing means 34 configured to block or unblock the IC refill relative to the IA bottle. This fixing means 34 is formed at the base 3.
[0047] In the illustrated embodiment, the fixing means 34 is formed by a thread formed on an internal wall of the base 3.
[0048] Furthermore, the IA bottle comprises at least one guide means 25 configured to guide an insertion or removal of the IC refill relative to the IA bottle. The at least one guide means 25 is formed at the main body 2. Thus, the at least one guide means 25 also forms an anti-rotation means making it possible to prevent any relative rotation of the IC refill relative to the main body 2.
[0049] Here, the at least one guide means 25 is constituted by a vertical notch formed on an internal wall of the main body 2.
[0050] Advantageously, the gesture is simplified and also provides assistance in handling the IC refill when removing it, caused by sliding and a pushing effect of the IC refill in the IA bottle.
[0051] Finally, the bottle 1A comprises at least one means for positioning the refill IC in the bottle IA. This positioning means complements the guide means 25.
[0052] When mounting the IC refill in the IA bottle, the positioning means momentarily blocks the IC refill before it is fixed by the fixing means 34. The positioning means exerts a less significant holding force on the IC refill than a force exerted by the fixing means 34.
[0053] Similarly, when dismantling the IC refill from the IA bottle, the positioning means momentarily blocks the IC refill before its complete removal from the IA bottle. Complete removal occurs following manual traction exerted by the user.
[0054] Advantageously, the at least one positioning means is formed by the coupling means 24 of the bottle IA. This is in particular an internal wall of the tabs forming said coupling means 24. More specifically, it is a zone of reduced section which encloses the refill IC in the bottle IA.
[0055] By a rotational movement of the base 3 relative to the main body 2, the base 3 allows the IC refill to be locked in the IA bottle. Similarly, by a rotational movement in the opposite direction of the base 3 relative to the main body 2, the base 3 allows the IC refill to be unlocked relative to the IA bottle. The main body 2, by means of the guide means 25, accompanies the operation of mounting or dismounting the IC refill relative to the IA bottle.
[0056] The base 3 which constitutes the first rotary actuating member of the receptacle 10 and the main body 2 which constitutes the first guiding member of the receptacle 10 form first means for moving the refill IC relative to the bottle IA.
[0057] Advantageously, the first rotary actuating member 3 has external grooves visible in [Fig. 1]. These grooves facilitate the gripping and rotation of the first rotary actuating member 3 by a user.
[0058] Advantageously, the first guide member 2 may be provided with a window 26 allowing the refill IC disposed inside the bottle IA to be seen. The window 26 may be constituted by an opening formed through the wall of the first guide member 2 or by a transparent or translucent material different from an opaque material forming the rest of the first guide member 2.
[0059] With reference to [Fig. 4], the refill IC comprises a container 4 containing the cosmetic product. The refill IC also comprises an applicator assembly 5 configured to cooperate with the container 4.
[0060] In particular, as illustrated in [Fig. 5], the container 4 comprises a main portion 41 on either side of which extend a lower portion 42 and an upper neck 43. The lower portion 42 and the upper neck 43 have an average diameter smaller than a diameter of the main portion 4L. The lower portion 42 forms an opening closed by means of a stopper (not shown). The upper neck 43 forms an opening for access to the container 4 and through which the applicator assembly 5 can be inserted.
[0061] Furthermore, the container 4 comprises a fastening means 42a configured to cooperate with the fastening means 34 formed at the level of the bottle 1A. The fastening means 42a is located at the level of the lower portion 42 of the container 4.
[0062] In the illustrated embodiment, the fixing means 42a is formed by an external thread.
[0063] Finally, the container 4 comprises at least one guide means 41a configured to cooperate with the at least one guide means 25 formed at the level of the bottle IA. The at least one guide means 41a also forms an anti-rotation means intended to prevent any rotation of the refill IC relative to the main body 2 of the bottle IA.
[0064] In the illustrated embodiment, the at least one guide means 41a is constituted by a vertical projection formed on an external wall of the main portion 41 of the container 4. The vertical projections 41a, here two in number, engage in the notches 25 of the bottle IA.
[0065] The fixing means 42a and the guiding means 41a formed at the container 4 are also part of the means for moving the refill IC relative to the bottle IA.
[0066] [Fig. 6] illustrates an example of an applicator assembly 5. The applicator assembly 5 extends from an upper proximal end to an opposite lower distal end.
[0067] The applicator assembly 5 comprises an application member 51 provided with an applicator 55 which is configured to be housed inside the container 4 when the applicator assembly 5 is fixed thereto (assembled configuration).
[0068] The applicator assembly 5 also comprises a sleeve 52 which is configured to be attached to the container 4. The sleeve 52 is connected to the application member 51.
[0069] Finally, the applicator assembly 5 comprises a tip 53 which is connected to the sleeve 52 at the proximal end of the applicator assembly 5. This tip 53 comprises a fixing means 53a configured to fix the cover IB to the refill IC.
[0070] In the assembled configuration of the IC refill, that is to say when the applicator assembly 5 is fixed to the container 4, the fixing means 42a formed on the container 4 and the fixing means 53a formed on the applicator assembly 5 are located respectively at end portions of the IC refill. Such a location of the fixing means 42a, 53a allows the IC refill to be fixed to the bottle IA independently of the IC refill to the cap 1B.
[0071] In order to allow assembly between the applicator assembly 5 and the container 4, the sleeve 52 and the application member 51 of the applicator assembly 5 form an annular space 54 intended to receive the neck 43 of the container 4. Furthermore, the sleeve 52 is provided with a first assembly means 52a which cooperates with a second assembly means 43a formed at the neck 43 of the container 4.
[0072] In the illustrated embodiment, the first assembly means 52a is a thread formed on an internal wall of the sleeve 52. The second assembly means 43a is a thread formed on an external wall of the neck 43 of the container 4.
[0073] Thus, according to the invention, the first fixing means 42a and the second fixing means 53a are similar screwing means.
[0074] Thus, by providing similar screwing means as first fixing means 42a and second fixing means 53a, the invention makes it possible to envisage a simpler procedure for mounting and dismounting the refill IC relative to the cap IB on the one hand, and relative to the bottle IA on the other hand.
[0075] The term “similar” means similar, analogous, comparable, equivalent. Otherwise said screwing means are of the same type, of the same nature. The first fixing means 42a and second fixing means 53a may, for example, both be a thread. This does not, however, require that the two threads have the same thread pitch, the same screwing direction and / or the same dimensions, such as thread length, diameter. The thread pitch, the screwing direction and / or the dimensions may be identical or different for each of the first and second fixing means. 42a, 53a.
[0076] Furthermore, the container 4 and the applicator assembly 5 are configured to form a single block capable of being inserted into or removed from the bottle 1A or the cap 1B.
[0077] By “a single unit” is meant different parts which can be joined and reversibly separated. In other words, the container 4 and the applicator assembly 5 are connected together when they are inserted into or removed from the bottle 1A or the cap 1B, unlike, for example, other refills in which first the container is inserted into the bottle, then the applicator assembly is attached to the container and finally to the cap. The gesture is thus simplified. Furthermore, the container 4 is always closed when it is inserted into or removed from the bottle 1A, which limits the risks of damaging the cosmetic product for example. Similarly, the applicator assembly 5 is protected inside the container 4, in particular when it is inserted into or removed from the bottle 1A or when it is separated from the cap 1B.
[0078] In order to preserve the integrity of the threaded zones of the container 4 and of the applicator assembly 5 when screwing these two parts, the container 4 has at least one end-of-travel stop 44 intended to cooperate with at least one notch 52b formed on the sleeve 52 of the applicator assembly 5.
[0079] In the illustrated embodiment, the at least one end-of-travel stop 44 is located at a shoulder formed between the main portion 41 and the neck 43 of the container 4. The at least one notch 52b projects downwards from a lower edge of the sleeve 52.
[0080] Referring again to [Fig. 1], the cover 1B comprises a first part 6, called the second guide member, and a second part 7, called the second rotary actuating member. The two parts 6, 7 are integral in translation and movable in rotation relative to each other.
[0081] In particular, as illustrated in [Fig.7], the first part 6, here of cylindrical shape, is formed by a first tube. The second part 7 comprises a head 71 connected to a second tube 72 of smaller diameter. The second tube 72 is inserted into the first tube 6. The head 71 overhangs the first tube 6. Thus, the head 71 and the second tube 72 of the second part 7 form a shoulder 73 which is opposite an upper edge 61 of the first tube 6.
[0082] To secure the first part 6 and the second part 7 in translation, and to allow relative rotation of these two parts, the first part 6 is provided with a coupling means 62 which cooperates with a coupling means 72a formed on the second part 7. The coupling means 62 is formed near the upper edge 61 of the first part 6.
[0083] In the illustrated embodiment, the coupling means 62 is a circumferential notch formed on an inner wall of the first tube 6. The coupling means 72a is an annular lug formed on an outer wall of the second tube 72.
[0084] The first tube 6 of the cover 1B is configured to receive and cooperate with the sleeve 52 of the applicator assembly 5.
[0085] To do this, the first tube 6 of the cover 1B has first grooves 63 at its internal wall. The sleeve 52 has for its part an external wall provided with second grooves 52c visible in [Fig.4]. The first grooves 63 cooperate with the second grooves 52c in order to secure the cover 1B and the IC refill in rotation. The first grooves 63 and the second grooves 52c thus form anti-rotation means.
[0086] Furthermore, the first grooves 63 cooperate with the second grooves 52c in order to guide a relative translation between the cover 1B and the refill IC. The first grooves 63 and the second grooves 52c thus form means for guiding the cover 1B in translation relative to the refill IC.
[0087] As for the second tube 72 of the cover 1B, it is configured to receive and cooperate with the tip 53 of the applicator assembly 5.
[0088] To do this, the second tube 72 of the cap 1B has an internal wall provided with a fixing means 72b. The tip 53 of the applicator assembly 5 has, for its part, an external wall provided with a fixing means 53a. The fixing means 72b, 53a thus cooperate to lock or unlock the cap 1B relative to the refill IC.
[0089] In the illustrated embodiment, the fixing means 72b formed on the second tube 72 of the cover 1B is an internal thread. The fixing means 53a formed on the tip 53 of the applicator assembly 5 is an external thread.
[0090] By a rotational movement of the second part 7 of the cover IB relative to the first part 6 of the cover IB, the refill IC is fixed to the cover IB. Similarly, by a rotational movement in the opposite direction of the second part 7 of the cover IB relative to the first part 6 of the cover IB, the refill IC is unlocked relative to the cover IB. To guide the insertion or removal of the refill IC relative to the cover IB, as indicated previously, the grooves 63 formed on the first part 6 of the cover IB cooperate with the grooves 52c formed on the sleeve 52 of the applicator assembly 5.
[0091] Advantageously, an end-of-travel click may be present so as to block the rotation, in particular to prevent the first part 6 and the second part 7 from disassemble alone by unwanted unscrewing.
[0092] Thus, the second part 7 of the cover 1B which forms the second rotary actuating member of the receptacle 10 and the first part 6 of the cover 1B which forms the second guiding member of the receptacle 10 form second means for moving the refill IC relative to the cover 1B. In particular, the second guiding member 6 transforms a rotation of the second actuating member 7 into a translational movement of the refill IC relative to the cover 1B.
[0093] Here again, advantageously, a gripping aid is caused by a sliding and a pushing effect of the first part 6 and the second part 7 relative to each other.
[0094] The fixing means 53a formed on the end piece 53 as well as the grooves 52b formed on the sleeve 52 are also part of second means for moving the refill IC relative to the cover IB.
[0095] Advantageously, the second rotary actuating member 7 is provided with external grooves intended to facilitate its gripping and rotation by a user. These grooves are visible in [Fig.l].
[0096] Advantageously, the cover 1B and the applicator assembly 5 can be detached from the rest of the receptacle 10 as a single unit for use of the applicator assembly 5. The cover 1B thus forms a cap and a means for gripping the applicator assembly 5.
[0097] To do this, the fixing means 53a formed at the refill IC and the fixing means 72b formed at the cover 1B may be configured, for example, to have a screwing / unscrewing torque different from a screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the first assembly means 52a and the second assembly means 43a of the refill IC. The screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the fixing means 53a and the fixing means 72b may be, for example, greater than the screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the assembly means 52a and the assembly means 43a.
[0098] In another embodiment, the screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the fixing means 53a and the fixing means 72b may be less than the screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the assembly means 52a and the assembly means 43a.
[0099] In yet another embodiment, the fixing means 53a formed at the level of the refill IC and the fixing means 72b formed at the level of the cover IB can also be configured to present a screwing / unscrewing torque substantially identical to a screwing / unscrewing torque provided between the first assembly means 52a and the second assembly means 43a of the refill IC. Thus, when the user grasps the cover IB at the level of the second guide member 6 and exerts a torque lower than a threshold value, the cover IB and the applicator assembly 5 detach as a single unit from the rest of the receptacle 10. On the other hand, when the user grasps the cover IB at the level of the second rotary actuating member 7, and in particular at the level of the head 71 of said second rotary actuating member, and exerts a torque greater than the threshold value, only the cover IB detaches. The other parts of the receptacle 10 remain assembled as a single unit.
