AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Existing battery module configurations for electric motor vehicles do not optimally manage the thermal expansion of battery cells, leading to potential structural stresses and risks of component failure.
Method used
A set for battery accumulators is proposed, featuring a support with a cooling circuit and removable wedges positioned between the support's lateral walls and the battery module's side wall, which limits lateral displacement and maintains cells in direct contact with the cooling circuit.
Benefits of technology
This configuration effectively restricts stresses on the battery module's walls to within the elastic deformation range, preventing component failure and enhancing thermal exchange efficiency through direct contact with the cooling circuit.

Abstract
The invention relates to a battery assembly (10), comprising: - a receiving support (20), said support having, in a base portion (22), a cooling circuit (27), the base portion being bordered by two side walls (23, 25), and - a battery module (30) comprising a front portion (34) provided with a front wall (34A) bordered by a side wall (34B), said side wall extending parallel to the side walls of the support, the front wall and the side wall of the module defining a housing for a plurality of battery cells, said plurality of cells being retained in the module by at least one retaining element (32), said assembly comprising at least one removable spacer (40) positioned between the side walls of the support and the side wall of the module. The invention also relates to an associated motor vehicle and a method for manufacturing an assembly. Figure for the abstract: Fig.2.
