[0001] The invention relates to a device for securing a premises. Its subject is such a device. It also relates to a method for implementing such a device.
[0002] Document FR 3050119 describes a device for externally detecting a movement of water or a leak inside a supply pipe. The device comprises a removable attachment around the supply pipe, a sensor of a value of a physical quantity representative of a movement of water in the supply pipe, a detector of a triggering of a sprinkler or a fire hydrant configured to detect the triggering as a function of the change in the sensed value and a transmitter of a signal representative of the sensed value when the triggering is signaled by the detector.
[0003] Such a device deserves to be improved to optimize the detection of an incident of any nature, fire or water leak in particular, likely to affect a premises, such as a dwelling, in particular a detached house, apartment, individual garage, craftsman's workshop or the like.
[0004] Such a device also deserves to be improved to respond as quickly as possible to an incident, such as an accidental fire affecting the premises, a water leak or the like.
[0005] An aim of the present invention is to propose a device for securing a premises, such as a dwelling, in particular a detached house, apartment, craftsman's workshop or the like, which is simple to install on a water supply pipe equipping the premises, this device making it possible not only to alert a user of the premises as quickly as possible after detection of an incident, fire or water leak in particular, but also to act very quickly to stop the incident, before it spreads, for example by rapidly increasing the temperature of the premises, by creating a panic effect, burns, poisoning caused by the inhalation of vapors released by the burning elements, or even sometimes the death of the people present, or by weakening the structure of the premises.
[0006] Another aim of the present invention is to propose a method for implementing such a device which is simple, rapid and effective in counteracting the incident as quickly as possible, even before the arrival of emergency services, firefighters, or even before emergency services are contacted.
[0007] Another aim of the present invention is to provide security for the premises, accommodation or other before human intervention. Thus, emergency services can be contacted without panic.
[0008] The present invention falls within this context and proposes a security device as well as a method for securing a premises which generally comprises a plurality of steps.
[0009] More particularly, the safety device of the present invention is a device for securing a room. The safety device comprises a water supply pipe in fluid connection with a water pipe which extends between a water inlet fitted to the water supply pipe and a water outlet.
[0010] According to the present invention, the water pipe is in fluid connection with an extinguishing agent pipe which extends between a mixer and a reserve of an extinguishing agent. The extinguishing agent is preferably an emulsifying agent suitable for daily interventions by firefighters, such as small hydrocarbon fires, car fires, agricultural machinery, apartment, building or similar.
[0011] The security device advantageously comprises at least one of the following technical characteristics, taken alone or in combination:
[0012] - the mixer comprises a Venturi type device.
[0013] - the water outlet is provided with a diffuser.
[0014] - the security device comprises a home automation center in connection with a flow sensor fitted to the water pipe.
[0015] - the home automation center is equipped with means for transmitting a first in training relating to an occurrence of an incident at a receiver.
[0016] - the home automation center is equipped with information means which are capable of transmit a second piece of information, whether sound, digital or light, to a location far from a smoke evacuation duct in the premises.
[0017] - the home automation system is equipped with means for actuating a motor unit capable of moving an operating member into the closing position of a combustion air intake flap inside a heating installation equipping the room.
[0018] - the home automation system is equipped with means for actuating a solenoid valve equipping the water pipe.
[0019] - the home automation system is equipped with means for triggering a circuit breaker in individual power circuit breaker of a connected auxiliary contact and / or a main power differential circuit breaker of an auxiliary contact supplying the premises. The power circuit breaker is preferably a main differential circuit breaker which supplies secondary power circuit breakers, which in turn individually supply the equipment connected to the sockets and cable outlets in order to secure the premises, or an individual power circuit breaker of a water heater as well that an associated means of communication confirming, notifying their trigger opening, like feedback, equipping the premises.
[0020] - the home automation system is equipped with means for actuating a solenoid valve equipping the water pipe supplying the premises.
[0021] - the security device comprises an electronic card in relation with at minus a temperature sensor and the home automation center.
[0022] More particularly still, the present invention proposes a method for implementing such a security device.
[0023] The method comprises a first step which consists of measuring a value of a physical quantity using a sensor. The sensor is advantageously a flow sensor fitted to a water pipe of the premises. The water pipe is for example a pipe which is in fluidic connection with the water supply pipe of the premises and which is intended to deliver water into the premises to stop a fire affecting the latter. The water pipe is for example also a drain pipe fitted to a water heater housed in the premises. It should be noted that the number of pipes, diffusers depends on the intrinsic capacity of a regulator, pressure reducer of the water network in terms of flow rate and a minimum section of the water supply line. This line, pipe must be identified and dedicated solely to this use.
[0024] The method comprises a step of comparing the measured value of the measured physical quantity with a setpoint value of the physical quantity. According to a preferred embodiment, if the measured value is greater than the setpoint value, it is deduced that an incident has occurred. The comparison step is for example carried out by calculation means, comprising for example an integrated intrinsic algorithm, which equip a stand-alone electronic card powered by a battery. The variation of the original physical quantity therefore makes it possible to deduce that an incident has occurred. The comparison step is for example carried out by the electronic card constituting the device for securing the premises. The flow sensor is in fact a stand-alone connected flow alarm which can be used in a large number of areas, such as confirmation of recirculation during freezing periods and, in other circumstances described below.
[0025] The method comprises a first step of transmission via first communication means equipping the electronic card of an incident indication via a wireless protocol to a home automation center equipping the home or premises.
[0026] The method comprises a second step of transmission via second intrinsic communication means equipping the home automation center with the incident indication to a relay antenna of a remote communication network.
[0027] The method comprises a third step of transmitting via the remote communication network the incident indication to one or more receiving terminals, such as a telephone or several mobile telephones, which the user or users of the premises are in possession of. These arrangements are such that the users of the premises, whether owners or tenants, are informed in real time of the incident, and of the nature thereof, fire or flood in particular, and are able to act in particular to prevent the appropriate emergency services.
[0028] The method also comprises a connected sound warning step during which the home automation center activates a broadcast of a sound alert relating to the incident via at least one connected alarm siren fitted to the home or premises, the alarm siren being capable of generating a sound alert of more than 90 decibels fitted to the home or premises.
[0029] The method also includes a connected digital warning step, during which the home automation center activates the provision of various raised pictograms, subtitled and written in Braille, which are intended to indicate the current incident to a visually impaired or blind user.
[0030] The method also comprises a connected visual warning step during which one or more visual signs and anti-panic lighting in the middle of the night, and for example while the occupants are sleeping, are activated to inform the user of the incident in progress and provide him with safety instructions.
[0031] The method also comprises a step of isolating an electrical power circuit equipping the premises from an electrical power supply interruption instruction transmitted by a trigger connected to the main power supply of the power circuit. It is understood that a control panel of the power circuit is equipped with said trigger which is connected by a wireless network to the home automation center. When the home automation center receives the incident indication, the latter is able to immediately transmit to the trigger an instruction to cut off the electrical power supply of the power circuit. These arrangements are such that as soon as the home automation center receives an incident indication of the fire type, the home automation center is able to instantly disconnect the electrical power circuit so that delivery of water to extinguish the fire is therefore possible without any hazards.
[0032] This same connected trigger is also mechanically connected to an auxiliary contact module connected to the connected independent electronic card which notifies the incident to the user, via the home automation center and the relay antenna, such as the opening of the circuit breaker. This connected auxiliary contact also has another role, namely, during an absence of the user, if the circuit breaker opens, either by overcurrent or by insulation fault coming from one of the electrical equipment of the premises, the user is immediately informed, notified and is not surprised the incident and the user knows its duration, that is to say the time elapsed between the incident and his return to the premises. Furthermore, for a room equipped with a gas pipe, a solenoid valve could be installed upstream in order to isolate, cut off this risky supply.
[0033] The method also comprises a step of mixing an extinguishing agent, emulsifier such as an emulsifier, in particular foaming and / or wetting, of the type used by firefighters, inside the water pipe intended to stop a fire affecting the premises. This effect is achieved using a mixer, a mixer comprising a Venturi-type device which equips the water pipe, this device, which only operates in one direction of liquid circulation, being itself in fluidic connection with an extinguishing agent pipe which houses a return member associated with a ball. The arrangement of the mixer is such that when water circulates inside the water pipe, a vacuum is generated inside the extinguishing agent pipe, so that the return member is compressed by the movement of the ball.Such a movement frees a passage that the ball was obstructing, which allows circulation of the extinguishing agent inside the pipe of external agent which comes to mix inside the water pipe. As soon as the circulation inside the water pipe is stopped, the return member pushes the ball against the passage which prevents circulation of extinguishing agent towards the water pipe. Thus when no circulation of water occurs inside the water pipe, no mixing of water and extinguishing agent is possible. This Venturi mixer / mixer by its internal design only works in one direction. An arrow engraved on the outside of the body indicates the direction of circulation and installation. In the event of loss of pressure inside the water supply pipe, no depression is generated so it is impossible for the extinguishing agent to enter inside the pipes of other devices. In standby or non-incident mode, if the extinguishing agent pipe is blocked, the water pipe cannot empty. Any operation upstream of the mixer has no effect on the movement of the ball held against the passage.
[0034] We recall here the operation of a Venturi type device: the water enters, penetrates this device through the largest section of the cone. The fluid therefore moves towards the smaller section which increases its speed and reduces its static pressure (pressure exerted on the surface of the wall). At the narrowest section of the cone, the speed of the fluid is then at its maximum and its static pressure at its minimum. Just after this restriction of the cone is a small chamber or a chimney whose section is much greater than the inlet section of the cone. This sudden change in section is such that it creates a depression. This depression is applied to each square millimeter of its surface. In this same chamber, there is a ball resting against its seat by means of a spring. The speed is generated solely by the flow rate from a section restriction, which in turn generates a depression which is also applied to this ball. When the flow rate and / or speed and / or depression is sufficient, i.e. a depression greater than the spring constraint pressure occurs, the ball compresses the spring sufficiently to make this ball detach from its seat and thus free the orifice, i.e. the passage that this ball was blocking. This depression will propagate into the pipe that was blocking this passage, a pipe connected to the tank where the foam concentrate is located. A vent on the tank allows it to be permanently at atmospheric pressure. The foam concentrate is therefore sucked in and allowed to circulate to mix, mix with the water in the pipe and then move towards the outlet of the Venturi-type device. As soon as the flow rate decreases, then stops, the speed decreases, then stops; the depression decreases, then stops; the suction of the extinguishing agent decreases, then stops; this same depression exerted on the surface of the ball decreases, then stops; the spring decompresses and returns to reposition itself and hold this ball against its seat; blocking and preventing the circulation of the extinguishing agent towards the water pipe of the circuit. In service and without flow, this ball is pressed against its seat on the one hand by the pressure of the fluid but also by the pressure exerted by the spring. Thus, without sufficient flow rate, without sufficient speed, without sufficient circulation of water, circulation does not occur inside this water pipe located downstream or in a unidirectional Venturi type device, no mixing of water and extinguishing agent is possible. In standby or out of incident, the pipe being obstructed, the water pipe cannot empty in the event of loss of pressure in the water network.
[0035] The installation of a tapping, connection with a quarter-turn valve on this water pipe placed upstream of the Venturi type device and downstream of the autonomous connected flow sensor allows a monthly or quarterly test, without risk of water / emulsifier mixing, of the correct functioning of actions such as safety and signaling. Depending on the characteristics of the water network, approximately 20 centiliters are sufficient for this test. This is drinking water which can therefore be consumed.
[0036] According to a first variant, the incident is detected using a connected temperature sensor that is autonomous and remote because it is connected to a telephone-type cable, which makes it possible to be effective anywhere. This temperature sensor is discreet due to its small size, about the size of a small coin, which also offers a wide range of temperature choices, making it very suitable for premises / housing in places with moderate temperatures as well as in places where the temperature is often normally high, such as professional restaurant kitchens with significant steam production, workshops with significant production of smoke and / or dust, laundries / dry cleaners, and others. It can be installed in an environment near a heat source, the origin of a possible fire and thus transmit an abnormally high temperature in order to act as quickly as possible. This autonomous connected temperature sensor is therefore not disturbed by smoke, dust, vapors.
[0037] According to a second variant, the water pipe is equipped with a thermal fuse, such as a sprinkler-type diffuser which is for example placed on the ceiling of the room, to detect a fire inside the room. The thermal fuse comprises a thermal bulb whose melting and / or rupture temperature is between 58°C and 70°C. Depending on the place to be protected, a cover can be installed for aesthetic or discreet reasons on the thermal fuse. It is for example of plant origin and self-disconnects as soon as the temperature reaches 53°C or 60°C depending on the fuse installed. In other words, the thermal bulb breaks when the thermal bulb reaches its rupture threshold, which releases the shutter which causes a dispersion of water and extinguishing agent in the room.
[0038] The method also comprises a step of opening a solenoid valve fitted to the water pipe, the solenoid valve being movable between a closed position in which the solenoid valve prohibits water circulation inside the pipe, and an open position in which the solenoid valve allows water circulation inside the water pipe up to the thermal fuse. The solenoid valve is preferably remotely controllable via the home automation system. This solenoid valve is located downstream of the Venturi type device mentioned above. Downstream of this solenoid valve, there is a diffuser (without bulb / thermal fuse) allowing watering, spraying of water and emulsifier. Depending on the place to be protected, a cover can be installed for aesthetic or discretionary reasons on this diffuser. It is also of plant origin and self-decomposes upon contact with the pressure of the watering water.
[0039] The water pipe is for example connected to a reserve comprising two compartments, including a first compartment housing water and a second compartment housing antifreeze and / or a vehicle coolant. The first compartment is in fluidic connection with the water pipe. The second compartment is in connection with the water pipe which is provided with a diffuser, a thermal fuse housed at the top of the chimney flue. The compartments are separated from each other by a partial partition as well as an air buffer. The rupture of the thermal fuse releases the shutter which will release the circuit comprising the antifreeze. The pressure exerted by the water inside the first compartment pushes, expels, evacuates the air buffer, so that the antifreeze liquid flows inside the water pipe towards the diffuser. The circuit self-purges, creates a flow rate, a speed and a flow which consequently activates the Venturi type organ by suction. of extinguishing agent located in the small tank. The autonomous connected flow sensor immediately informs the home automation system which in turn activates the various signals (audible, visual, digital, SMS), or even activates such as a closing electromagnet, and / or the combustion air inlet flap / valve.
[0040] Also, for areas or countries with extreme outdoor temperatures in winter, the chimney flue can be equipped with a connected temperature sensor which is not influenced by extreme cold. The temperature sensor is connected to a stand-alone electronic card which is several meters away, therefore easily accessible, via a telephone-type cable, in order to be able to replace a battery without having to access a roof of the premises with a risk of falling. This independent and stand-alone electronic card which includes both an intrinsic algorithm and a wireless communication protocol which communicates permanently with the home automation system. The electronic card indicates, as soon as a temperature threshold is crossed, for example during an abnormally high smoke temperature, typically higher than 120°C, 160°C or 200°C, or even more, signifying a fire in the chimney flue not visible from inside the premises or accommodation, or even during sleep or absence of the user and risking the spread of the fire to the roof. The water pipe is for example connected to a reserve containing an anti-freeze liquid, vehicle coolant for example. The anti-freeze liquid is mixed with the water circulating inside the water pipe as soon as the home automation control unit commands the opening of the solenoid valve to direct it towards the prototype diffuser, described below, however without a thermal bulb and quickly extinguish the start of a fire in the chimney flue, quickly in a few seconds, knowing that there is no draft since the combustion air flap / damper is closed and watering is in progress. The independent and autonomous connected flow sensor confirms the opening of the solenoid valve with a notification of the type "chimney flue watering in progress". Depending on the network of the receiving terminal, it is very likely that said chimney flue fire notification will be received by the user when the fire has already been extinguished. It is then possible to view on the receiving terminal the status of the connected thermal contact which returns to its normal threshold, excluding alert, and normal temperature.
[0041] This independent and autonomous connected temperature sensor which is remote can therefore easily be installed in any location where access is difficult or even dangerous, for example near controlled mechanical ventilation installed under a roof, a storage room, a framework or other.
[0042] The method also comprises a step of setting in motion a linkage equipped with a shutter or flap for closing a combustion air inlet inside the chimney, the shutter being actuated by the linkage provided with an ac- electrical donor and being movable between a closed position in which the shutter prevents fresh air circulation through the fresh air inlet of the chimney, and an open position in which the shutter allows fresh air circulation through the fresh air inlet of the chimney. The actuator is preferably remotely controllable via the home automation system.
[0043] These arrangements are such that when the thermal bulb breaks due to an incident such as a fire in the premises or a chimney flue fire, the water under pressure at approximately 2.5 bars or more inside the water pipe begins to circulate to be evacuated and directed inside the smoke flue.
[0044] It is noted that the thermal fuse comprises an enclosure which houses the thermal bulb and a grid. The thermal bulb is housed inside an upper portion of the enclosure which is delimited from a lower portion by means of the grid. The grid is designed to receive a shutter as well as the thermal fuse which keeps it in support and which obstruct a passage as long as the thermal bulb is not broken. As soon as the latter breaks, these elements fall by gravity and are pushed by the pressure of the water inside the enclosure to the grid. Subsequently, the antifreeze and / or the vehicle coolant and / or the water flows inside the enclosure to an outlet to allow watering and / or diffusion on an internal wall of the burning smoke duct and thus extinguish the fire in a few seconds.

[0052] [Fig.7] represents a schematic view of a prototype diffuser constituting the securing device illustrated in figures 2 and 4.
[0053] In [Fig.l], a room 1 is equipped with a water supply pipe 2 which is intended to supply water to the room 1. Typically, a water pressure prevailing inside the water supply pipe 2 is greater than 2 bars. The room 1 is also equipped with a smoke evacuation duct 3 which equips a heating installation 4. The heating installation 4 is indifferently a fireplace, an insert, a stove, a boiler or any other installation intended to burn a fuel in order to heat the room 1.
[0054] The room 1 is advantageously provided with a device 5 for securing the room 1. The security device 5 comprises a water pipe 6 which extends between a water inlet 6a equipping the water supply pipe 2 and a water outlet 6b equipping the smoke evacuation duct 3 and more particularly a high point 3a of the smoke evacuation duct 3. It is understood that a high point 3a of the smoke evacuation duct 3 is a culminating point of the latter.
[0055] The water pipe 6 is provided with a mixer 7 which is in fluid connection with an extinguishing agent pipe 8 which extends between the mixer 7 and a reserve 9 permanently at atmospheric pressure which contains an extinguishing agent 9a. The mixer 7 is capable of authorizing or prohibiting circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8. More particularly, the mixer 7 is movable between an open position in which the mixer 7 authorizes or prohibits circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8 by means of a ball 54 to mix with the water present inside the water pipe 6 in order to be evacuated inside the smoke evacuation duct 3 by means of the water evacuation 6b, and a closed position in which the mixer 7 prohibits such circulation.
[0056] The safety device 5 also comprises an electronic card 10 which is connected with a telephone type cable 10a with a temperature sensor 11 housed inside the smoke exhaust duct 3 to measure a smoke temperature TL. The electronic card 10 is provided with means 12 for comparing the smoke temperature T1 measured with a threshold temperature T2. If the smoke temperature T1 exceeds the threshold temperature T1, communication means 13 equipping the electronic card 10 communicate remotely with a home automation system 14 which is capable of remotely opening a solenoid valve 15 equipping the water pipe 6. The solenoid valve 15 is placed on the water pipe 6 downstream of the mixer 7, that is to say between the mixer 7 and the water outlet 6b. In this assembly, it is the same diffuser 31, as that illustrated in [Fig.7] but however not equipped with thermal bulb 31a.The opening of the solenoid valve 15 causes water to circulate inside the water pipe 6 so that a depression appears in the mixer 7. The mixer 7, described below in [Fig.6], advantageously comprises a Venturi type device, such as a depression-producing member inside. conical which, by its design, can only operate in one direction of circulation 16, that going from the mixer 7 towards the water discharge 6b, and in fact creates suction only in the event of water circulation in the water pipe 6. This results in a mixture of the extinguishing agent 9a and the water inside the water pipe 6, this mixture circulating inside the latter until the water discharge 6b, to extinguish the fire.
[0057] The safety device 5 comprises a flow sensor 33 which is in remote relation with the home automation system 14 equipping the water pipe 6. The flow sensor 33 is capable of detecting, notifying a circulation of water inside the water pipe 6, such circulation of water being caused by the opening of the solenoid valve 15.
[0058] The home automation center 14 is equipped with means 17 for transmitting first information 17a relating to an occurrence of an incident to a receiver 18 of which the user is in possession. The receiver 18 is for example a mobile telephone connected to the home automation center 14 via a telephone relay antenna.
[0059] The home automation system 14 is equipped with information means 19 which are capable of transmitting a second piece of information 19a of the sound, digital, light or similar type to a location 20 distant from the smoke evacuation duct 3, such as a bedroom, a living room or the like.
[0060] The home automation system 14 is also equipped with means 21 for actuating a motor member 22 capable of moving a maneuvering member 23 into the closed position of a combustion air intake flap 24 inside the heating installation 4. It is understood that the intake flap 24 is movable between a closed position in which the intake flap 24 allows air to enter inside the heating installation 4 and a closed position in which the intake flap 24 prohibits such air entry.
[0061] The home automation system 14 is also equipped with actuating means 44 on the solenoid valve 15 causing a flow rate, a speed and therefore a depression in the mixer 7. Thus, the flow rate inside the water pipe 6 is confirmed, and notified to the user by the flow rate sensor 33.
[0062] These arrangements are such that the fire inside the smoke exhaust duct 3 is quickly extinguished from the water inlet and the extinguishing agent 9a inside the smoke exhaust duct 3 via the water outlet 6a and from the operation of the inlet flap 24.
[0063] These provisions are also such that the user is quickly warned of the occurrence of the fire from the implementation of the transmission means 17 and the information means 19.
[0064] In [Fig. 2], a room 1 is equipped with a water supply pipe 2 which is intended to supply water to the room 1.
[0065] The room 1 is advantageously provided with a device 5 for securing the room 1.
[0066] The water pipe 6 is provided with a mixer 7 which is in fluidic connection with an extinguishing agent pipe 8 which extends between the mixer 7 and a reserve 9 of an extinguishing agent 9a. The mixer 7 is capable of authorizing or prohibiting circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8. More particularly, the mixer 7 is movable between an open position in which the mixer 7 authorizes or prohibits circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8 to mix with the water present inside the water pipe 6 in order to be evacuated inside the smoke evacuation conduit 3 via the water evacuation 6b, and a closed position in which the mixer 7 prohibits such circulation. It is noted that the extinguishing agent pipe 8 is equipped with a ball 54 to prevent water from entering the water pipe 6 into the reserve 9 which, via a vent, is permanently at atmospheric pressure.
[0067] The water pipe 6 is connected to a tank 100 comprising two compartments, 101, 102, a first compartment 101 housing water and a second compartment 102 housing antifreeze and / or a vehicle coolant. The first compartment 101 is in fluid connection with the water pipe 6. The second compartment 102 is in connection with the water pipe 6 which is provided with a diffuser 31, such as a thermal fuse housed at the top of the chimney flue 3. The compartments 101, 102 are separated from each other by a partial partition 103 as well as an air buffer 104. As illustrated below, the rupture of a thermal fuse of the diffuser 31 releases a shutter which will release the water pipe 6 comprising the antifreeze. The pressure exerted by the water inside the first compartment 101 pushes, expels, evacuates the air buffer 104, so that the antifreeze liquid flows inside the water pipe 6 towards the diffuser 31. The . circuit self-purges, creates a flow rate, a speed and a flow which consequently activates the mixer 7 by suction of extinguishing agent 9a located in the reserve 9. The autonomously connected flow sensor 33 immediately informs the home automation center 14 which in turn activates the various signals (audible, visual, digital, SMS), or even actuates such as a closing electromagnet, and / or the combustion air inlet flap / valve.
[0068] The safety device 5 comprises a flow sensor 33 which is connected to the home automation system 14 equipping the water pipe 6. The flow sensor 33 is capable of detecting and notifying a circulation of water inside the water pipe 6, such a circulation of water being caused by the rupture of the thermal bulb 31a, release of the shutter 61 which are located in the diffuser 31.
[0069] The home automation center 14 is equipped with means 17 for transmitting first information 17a relating to an occurrence of an incident to a receiver 18 of which the user is in possession. The receiver 18 is for example a mobile telephone connected to the home automation center 14 via a telephone relay antenna.
[0070] The home automation system 14 is equipped with information means 19 which are capable of transmitting a second piece of information 19a of the sound, digital, light or similar type to a place 20 distant from the smoke evacuation duct 3, such as a bedroom, a living room or the like.
[0071] The home automation system 14 is also equipped with means 21 for actuating a motor member 22 capable of moving a maneuvering member 23 into the closed position of a combustion air intake flap 24 inside the heating installation 4. It is understood that the intake flap is movable between a closed position in which the intake flap allows air to enter inside the heating installation 4 and a closed position in which the intake flap 24 prohibits such air entry.
[0072] These arrangements are such that the fire inside the smoke exhaust duct 3 is quickly extinguished from the water inlet and the extinguishing agent 9a inside the smoke exhaust duct 3 via the water outlet 6a and from the operation of the inlet flap 24.
[0073] These provisions are also such that the user is quickly warned of the occurrence of the fire from the implementation of the transmission means 17 and the information means 19.
[0074] In [Fig. 3], a room 1 is equipped with a water supply pipe 2 which is provided to supply water to the room 1. Typically, a water pressure prevailing inside the water supply pipe 2 is greater than 2 bars.
[0075] Room 1 is advantageously provided with a device 5 for securing room 1. The safety device 5 comprises a water pipe 6 which extends between a water inlet 6a fitted to the water supply pipe 2 and a water outlet 6b fitted to a ceiling 30. The water outlet 6b is fitted with a diffuser 31 which is capable of diffusing water after opening the solenoid valve 15 when a fire occurs in the room 1. The diffuser 31 is for example provided with a cover 32 made in particular from a plant material and which is capable of being of various colors.
[0076] The water pipe 6 is provided with a mixer 7 which is in fluidic connection with an extinguishing agent pipe 8 which extends between the mixer 7 and a reserve 9 of an extinguishing agent 9a. The mixer 7 is capable of authorizing or prohibiting circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8. More particularly, the mixer 7 is movable between an open position in which the mixer 7 authorizes or prohibits circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the extinguishing agent pipe 8 to mix with the water present inside the water pipe 6 in order to be evacuated inside the room 1 via the water drain 6b, and a closed position in which the mixer 7 prohibits such circulation. It is noted that the extinguishing agent pipe 8 is equipped with a ball 54 to prevent water from entering the water pipe 6 into the reserve 9 which, via a vent, is permanently at atmospheric pressure.
[0077] The security device 5 also comprises an electronic card 10 which is connected via a telephone type cable 10a with a temperature sensor 11 equipping the room 1 to measure a temperature of the room T' 1. The electronic card 10 is provided with means 12 for comparing the temperature of the room T' 1 measured with a threshold temperature T2. If the temperature of the room T' 1 exceeds the threshold temperature T2, communication means 13 equipping the electronic card 10 communicate remotely with a home automation system 14 which is capable of remotely opening a solenoid valve 15 equipping the water pipe 6. The solenoid valve 15 is placed on the water pipe 6 downstream of the mixer 7, that is to say between the mixer 7 and the water outlet 6b. The opening of the solenoid valve 15 causes water to circulate inside the water pipe 6 so that a vacuum appears in the mixer 7. The mixer 7, described below in [Fig.6], advantageously comprises a Venturi type device, such as a pressure reducing member with conical internals which, by its design, can only operate in one direction of circulation 16, that going from the mixer 7 to the water discharge 6b, and in fact creates suction only in the event of water circulating in the water pipe 6. This results in a mixture of the extinguishing agent 9a and the water inside the water pipe 6, this mixture circulating inside the latter up to the water discharge 6a, to extinguish the fire.
[0078] The safety device 5 comprises a flow sensor 33 which is in remote relation with the home automation system 14 equipping the water pipe 6. The flow sensor 33 is capable of detecting, notifying a circulation of water inside the water pipe 6, such a circulation of water being caused by the opening of the solenoid valve 15.
[0079] The home automation center 14 is equipped with means 17 for transmitting first information 17a relating to an occurrence of an incident to a receiver 18 of which the user is in possession. The receiver 18 is for example a mobile telephone connected to the home automation center 14 via a telephone relay antenna.
[0080] The home automation center 14 is equipped with information means 19 which are capable of transmitting a second information 19a of the sound, digital, light or similar type to a remote location 20, such as a bedroom, a living room, an office or the like.
[0081] The home automation system 14 is also equipped with means 44 for actuating the solenoid valve 15, causing a flow rate, a speed and therefore a depression in the mixer 7 on the water pipe 6. Thus the flow rate is confirmed and notified to the user by the flow sensor 33.
[0082] The home automation center 14 is also equipped with means 25 for triggering a main power differential circuit breaker 35 as well as an auxiliary contact 35a supplying the room 1 which confirms, notifies the user of the opening of the main power differential circuit breaker 35 via the home automation center 14.
[0083] These arrangements are such that the fire inside the room 1 is quickly contained, or even extinguished, from the inlet of water and the extinguishing agent 9a inside the room 1 via the water outlet 6a.
[0084] These provisions are also such that the user is quickly warned of the occurrence of the fire from the implementation of the transmission means 17 and the information means 19.
[0085] In [Fig.4], a room 1 is equipped with a water supply pipe 2 which is provided to supply water to the room 1. Typically, a water pressure prevailing inside the water supply pipe 2 is greater than 2 bars.
[0086] The room 1 is advantageously provided with a device 5 for securing the room 1. The security device 5 comprises a water pipe 6 which extends between a water inlet 6a fitted to the water supply pipe 2 and a water outlet 6b fitted to a ceiling 30 of the room 1. The water outlet 6b is equipped with a diffuser 31 which is capable of diffusing water when a fire occurs in the room 1. The diffuser 31 comprises in particular a fuse bulb 31a which breaks when an ambient temperature reaches a limit temperature. The diffuser 31 is for example provided with a cover 32 made in particular of a plant material and which is sus- likely to be of varied colors.
[0087] The water pipe 6 is provided with a mixer 7 which is in fluidic connection with an extinguishing agent pipe 8 which extends between the mixer 7 and a reserve 9 of an extinguishing agent 9a. The mixer 7, described below in [Fig.6], advantageously comprises a Venturi type device, such as a pressure reducing member with conical internals which, by its design, can only operate in one direction of circulation 16, that going from the mixer 7 to the water discharge 6b, and in fact creates suction only in the event of water circulation in the water pipe 6. This results in a mixture of the extinguishing agent 9a and the water inside the water pipe 6, this mixture circulating inside the latter up to the water discharge 6a, to extinguish the fire. It is noted that the extinguishing agent pipe 8 is equipped with a ball 54 to prevent water from entering the water pipe 6 into the reserve 9 which, via a vent, is permanently at atmospheric pressure.
[0088] The security device 5 also comprises a home automation system 14 which is in remote contact with a flow sensor 33 fitted to the water pipe 6. The flow sensor 33 is capable of detecting and notifying a circulation of water inside the water pipe 6, such circulation of water being caused by the rupture of the fuse bulb 31a.
[0089] The home automation center 14 is equipped with means 17 for transmitting first information 17a relating to an occurrence of an incident to a receiver 18 of which the user is in possession. The receiver 18 is for example a mobile telephone connected to the home automation center 14 via a telephone relay antenna.
[0090] The home automation center 14 is equipped with information means 19 which are capable of transmitting a second information 19a of the sound, digital, light or similar type to a remote location 20, such as a bedroom, a living room, an office or the like.
[0091] The home automation center 14 is also equipped with means 25 for triggering a main power differential circuit breaker 35 as well as an auxiliary contact 35a confirming the triggering supplying the room 1.
[0092] These provisions are such that the fire inside room 1 is quickly extinguished. conscripted, or even extinguished from the diffusion of water and extinguishing agent 9a in room 1 via diffuser 31.
[0093] These provisions are also such that the user is quickly warned of the occurrence of the fire from the implementation of the transmission means 17 and the information means 19, as described previously.
[0094] These arrangements are such that the flow sensor 33 informs the user as soon as the fire occurs. Instantly, the home automation center 14 notifies the user and acts on the various alarms. Preferably, the home automation center cuts off the power supply to the room 1. The home automation center 14 preferably activates the trigger of the main power differential circuit breaker 35. The auxiliary contact 35a confirms, notifies the user of the opening of the main power differential circuit breaker 35 via the home automation center 14.
[0095] In [Fig.5], a room 1 is equipped with a water supply pipe 2 which is provided to supply water to the room 1. Typically, a water pressure prevailing inside the water supply pipe 2 is greater than 2 bars.
[0096] The room 1 is advantageously provided with a safety device 5 for securing the room 1. The safety device 5 comprises a water pipe 6 which extends between a water inlet 6a fitted to the water supply pipe 2 and a water outlet 6b corresponding to the inlet fitted to a water heater 40. The safety device 5 comprises a safety group 41 which comprises a safety valve 42 fitted with a flow sensor 33. The flow sensor 33 is fitted, for example, to a drain pipe 43 of the safety valve 42.
[0097] The safety device 5 also comprises a home automation system 14 which is in remote contact with the flow sensor 33 equipping the safety valve 42. The flow sensor 33 is capable of detecting a circulation of water inside the drain pipe 43, such a circulation of water being caused by an excessive flow caused by the malfunction of the safety valve 42 of the safety group 41 either by wear or by the excess presence of calcium carbonate, limestone affecting the water heater 40.
[0098] The home automation center 14 is equipped with means 17 for transmitting first information 17a relating to an occurrence of an incident to a receiver 18 of which the user is in possession. The receiver 18 is for example a mobile telephone connected to the home automation center 14 via a telephone relay antenna.
[0099] The home automation center 14 is equipped with information means 19 which are capable of transmitting a second information 19a of the sound, digital, light or similar type to a place 20 distant from the room 1, such as a bedroom, a living room, an office or the like.
[0100] The home automation system 14 is also equipped with means 44 for actuating a solenoid valve 45 fitted to the water pipe 6, so as to cause the solenoid valve 45 to close in the event of detection of a leak, excessive drain flow affecting the water heater 40. The home automation system 14 is also equipped with means 25 for actuating a trigger 46 fitted to the individual power circuit breaker supplying the water heater 40.
[0101] These arrangements are such that the flow sensor 33 informs the user as soon as the flow rate is high and / or excessive. Instantly, the home automation center 14 notifies the user and acts on the various alarms. Preferably, the home automation center cuts off the individual power supply to the water heater 40 and can also cut off its water supply via the solenoid valve 45. A connected auxiliary contact 46a confirms by notification the electrical isolation of the water heater 40. The connected auxiliary contact 46a as well as the connected trigger 46 are connected, mechanically hooked to the individual power supply circuit breaker. Thus, significant water and electricity savings are achieved for installations whose safety valve 42 has been defective for months due to a sneaky leak, sometimes only visible on the bill.
[0102] These provisions are also such that the user is quickly warned of the occurrence of the consequent leak from the implementation of the transmission means 17 and the information means 19.
[0103] It is noted at this stage of the description that the security device of the present invention is capable of comprising at least one of the variants described above, taken alone or in combination.
[0104] In [Fig. 6], the mixer 7 comprises a Venturi type device 50 which equips the water pipe 6. The Venturi type device 50 only operates in one direction of circulation of liquid 51. The Venturi type device 50 is itself in fluid relation with the extinguishing agent pipe 8 which is in fluid communication with a chamber 52 housing a return member 53 associated with a ball 54. The arrangement of the mixer 7 is such that when water circulates inside the water pipe 6, a depression is generated inside the chamber 52 and consequently the extinguishing agent pipe 8, so that the return member 53 is compressed by the movement of the ball 54. Such a movement frees a passage 55 which the ball obstructed, which allows circulation of the extinguishing agent 9a inside the external agent pipe 8 which comes to mix inside the water pipe.As soon as the circulation inside the water pipe 6 is stopped, the depression is stopped, disappears, the return member 53 pushes the ball 54 against the passage 55 which prevents circulation of extinguishing agent 9a towards the water pipe 6. Furthermore, when no circulation of water occurs inside. of the water pipe 6, no mixing of water and extinguishing agent is possible. The mixer 7 operates advantageously only in the direction of circulation of liquid 51. In the event of a loss of pressure inside the water pipe 6, the line downstream of the mixer 7 being obstructed either by the thermal bulb 31a of the thermal diffuser or by the solenoid valve 15, no flow, no depression is therefore generated in the chamber 52, so it is impossible for the extinguishing agent 9a to enter the chamber 52, and consequently into the water pipe or into conduits of the network.
[0105] In [Fig.7], the diffuser 31 comprises an enclosure 60 which houses the thermal bulb 31a. The thermal bulb 31a is interposed between a shutter 61 and a grid 62. When the temperature is high, the thermal bulb 31a breaks, which causes the shutter 61 to fall from the water pipe 6 onto the grid 62 which retains it, while allowing the water and the extinguishing agent 9a to flow through orifices 63 which equip the diffuser 31. Preferably, the orifices 63 are arranged in a direction forming an angle A with the normal which is of the order of 15°, and which depends on the distance from the cap of the smoke duct as well as the diameter of the duct. It is noted that a screw 64 is tightened to a determined torque, and passes through a lower wall 65 of the diffuser 31 in order to keep the thermal bulb 31a pressed against the shutter 61 obstructing the fluid passage of the pipe 6.
