Title of the invention: Armrest device for a motor vehicle console

[0001] The present invention relates to a motor vehicle console comprising an armrest. It relates more particularly to the armrest device of the console.

[0002] Motor vehicles are now commonly equipped with a console installed between two vehicle seats, comprising at least one armrest in its upper part. The console also most often includes various storage compartments. In addition, at least one armrest can usually serve as a lid for at least one compartment.
